Mysticat’s Incredible Minecraft Item Sorter: Silent, Lagless, Easy!

This is everything you’ll need to build a multi-item sorting system in minecraft you can actually make this as tall as you want and repeat it sideways as many times as you want so keep that in mind when collecting resources so we’re going to start by finding the area we want to build our

Multiple item sorting system at and we’re going to go up three blocks from the ground and place all of her chests there so let me do that real quick and of course you can make each of these a sideways double chest if you want i just didn’t want to use that many chests

You can also replace as many of these as you want with sideways shulker boxes now we’re going to go around back and we’re going to choose our first column row whatever you want to call it and then we’re going to go out one two three four five and then place three blocks

So again our first one five space three blocks we’re going to get droppers we’re gonna go on this first block here and we’re gonna stack them up all the way until we’re one higher than our chests which is one more there we go so now we have to drop down from here

And then at the back we’re going to get some redstone dust you’re going to place four just like this place a block here a four tick delay repeater a three tick delay repeater redstone dust a comparator pulse extender just like this so seven takes a delay a comparator pulse extender right here

Then you’re going to link this up whoops ruin with a one tick repeater right here redstone dust one tick repeater right here so extend these diagonally like this this feeds into a flipped comparator you just right click it again into a three tick repeater facing to the left

A two tick repeater facing to the right and a one tick repeater facing to the right so three two one gonna place a block on these corners right here fill the rest with redstone and we’re going to come over here extend this dust out by one we’re going to go

Four comparators you can either do a block and redstone or two redstone whatever you have more of then four more comparators like this so i’m at the back now and we’re going to continue our dropper pillars all along the side you can see we’re here right aligned with these chests

We’re going to bring this out one go up one dropper and over one more so a total of three and then we’re going to skip one which is aligned with these repeaters and then we’re going to go five oops there we go so five missing one and three and you can break this

And these two it’s very important that you remember to use droppers in that dispensers so now we’re going to drop down and then one level above the redstone we’re going to get some hoppers and then on the right we’re going to come out four three two

One and then we’re going to go sideways on all four of these and this fifth one right here so once again you can see the arrows four pointing up three pointing up two pointing up one pointing up and then outline them and one’s pointing towards the right

And then all these other ones you can point forwards just like this i’m using a special resource pack that puts the arrows on here normally you don’t have any arrows so you have to look at the little funnel underneath the block and now we’re gonna go through and we’re

Gonna place hoppers all along the chests until we’re one above the chest kind of like the droppers now i know it can be difficult to get all the resources you need for this kind of stuff but i do have farms on how to get

Like iron and wood and all of that on my channel so feel free to look around if you don’t have any of that and once you’re back at the bottom you want to make sure all these are in and they’re all facing forwards but then this very last bottom left one

Is facing towards the left and you’ll see why later so now that we’re back down here i’m going to get some repeaters and we’re going to put three tick repeaters facing into each of these bottom hoppers and you want to make sure you’re very careful about copying all this

Because not doing anything correctly can break your entire thing oh i just walked off an accident whoops that was a little a little bit too close there and then you want to get furnaces and put them all along the back just like this then i’m going to get powered rails i’m

Going to put them all in front of the front of the furnaces and then if we extend this one more on each side just temporarily our rails shouldn’t mess up so now you’ll see if i put these top layer of rails they stay along sideways if we didn’t put these two on

The sides they would link up vertically and be really annoying but now we can break these and you don’t really have to grab them if you have enough resources and i i don’t care about a couple of couple of stone although i did just break this redstone whoops but anyway

You break those temporary ones on the sides and then you’re going to get some observers and you’re going to have them face just like this against each of the rails and you’ll see the little red dot should be pointing towards these repeaters if it’s not then you need to break them

And replace them but after that we’re going to get repeaters and put more three tick delay repeaters on top all right and now that we have this kind of layout like this we’re going to want to get more observers looking into these powered rails just like this i’m

Just going to go slow here to make sure everything’s pointed correctly and then we’re going to get blocks behind us all against these and now you see this whole this these two layers we did right here instead of furnaces you’re going to use normal blocks but stack

Them all the way up i understand that this can be very confusing and maybe even frustrating but as long as you take your time you should be perfectly fine and once you’re finally on the top by the way good job you want to get your droppers and point them towards you

Like this and then go and do the same thing on top of these hoppers just like this so now we’ll take some hoppers and go to the back you can see the chests are on the right i’m on the left we’re going to come out two from here

Three from here four from here and then similar to what we did in the other corner these ones will point to the left and this will continue to point forwards and then all the rest of them will point forwards just like this and make sure you don’t forget the one

At the back between the droppers and then one more time for good measure all of these go forward except for these two they go to the left and now to prevent lag we’re going to put a composter on top of each one of these hoppers and what that does is if a hopper

Doesn’t have anything above it it constantly checks for new items to pick up but if it has something like a composter or a chest or furnace or something above it it only checks whenever that block updates so a lot less lag so now we’re going to

Come around back and we’re going to fill in all the space with some silent item elevators very fun very fun and like everything else in the build you want to be very careful and make sure you do this correctly otherwise they might not be very silent and they kind of started there

Anyways we’re going to go two blocks out from each of these columns and just like the ones that were already there from before so our column of droppers and two blocks like this we’re gonna point a comparator out of each of these at the bottom whoops that should be three i landed on

The hopper all right and then a one tick repeater out of each of these so all these should be a comparator pointing into a one tick repeater and tip for whenever you’re doing redstone like this and you’re trying to do a bunch of repeaters you can look at it from the side and

Make sure everything lines up we’re going to place redstone dust in front of these five and these three should already have them and now i’m going to use jack-o’-lanterns just to make sure our light levels are consistent because what lags with redstone is all the lights

Turning on and off so if you can keep all the lighting at max then there’s none of that lighting leg however if you don’t have jack-o-lanterns feel free to use normal blocks and just cover everything in torches it’s really not going to make a difference but for now

We’re going to place a redstone torch on the outside of each of these and then a block on top of those just like this and then we’re gonna place blocks two above them like this there you go i’ll just bring this one over and break it you’re going to get observers and you’re

Going to face them as such and you’ll see in a second if it helps you these arrows are pointing down and if i break these blocks the little faces are looking upwards and so that’s how you know if you’ve done it correctly or not hop over here now we’re going to put

Four take delay repeaters facing outside of all these blocks my angles are off today four four four four and then we’re gonna place the blocks on top of these if you’re wondering what i’m doing i’m just shift clicking and then we’re gonna jump over here place redstone torches on top of these blocks

Place another block on top of the torches like this feel free to pause as many times as you need i noticed it gets complicated very quickly i’m going to put four tick delay repeaters on top of the observers facing away as such and then on top of these blocks you’re gonna have a

Torch on each side not the top the right and the left the inside and the outside not the top listen to me can’t even follow my own instructions all right and then once that’s done you’re going to put a block on top of each of these

That’s the wrong spot on top of each of these and then put torches on the inside right here and now we’re going to repeat what we just did so five more on top three more on top i’m gonna put torches on both sides like that and then if you’re using

Jack-o’-lanterns at this point you’ll want to use them again just to make sure your lighting stays consistent like this otherwise it’s the same thing i’m just using jack-o-lanterns this time instead of normal blocks these are really bright by the way and then we’re gonna get more normal blocks i’m running low

Stack them up and if you’re making this taller than mine which you can make this as tall as you want in respect to the world border uh just keep doing the same thing and stack it whether it’s that inside section or this section you can go as high as you want

So i’m going to finish this looks like we got to do one more so let me place these blocks here five inside torches inside torches a block and then on this very top one we only need the inside ones we don’t need this outside row because they’re not going to touch

Anything we just want them on the inside right here and you’ll see if i jump off here and look at the side this is what it looks like let me try and get a better angle for you here and while we’re down here if we come to the right side over here

Uh we can have this hopper that looks out we’re gonna put our double chest here and this is gonna be the overflow chest so anything that doesn’t get sorted into these chests well output here and then if you want to copy this uh this will be the input for the next

One but we’re not done yet you almost tried to oh you you tried to leave the video i caught you we haven’t even made the input chest for this one why are you trying to think about the one for the next one come on we’re gonna break these two blocks

Put our double chest here which reminds me i actually put this one one too far to the right just move this to the left get rid of this block there we go that’ll be easier to reach and then over here we’re going to put a block down we’re going to get

A dropper like this we’re going to get oh i’m out of hoppers we’re going to get hoppers and we’re going to place five of them in a straight line like this so that it reaches the chest i guess we can leave that block there

It’s not a big deal and now we need to have one more item elevator don’t worry you don’t need any of this you just need from here to the left All right everything’s looking fine i had a repeater backwards but i fixed it and once we’re up here this third one right here we want that to point in and then two to point out and then over here we’re going to have a dropper point into

This one so you can see if i were to break this hopper this is facing this direction and then i didn’t bring any of my composters a one two three and so now we need to make a little thing that turns on all the stuff in the middle so we want to power

This block with this redstone dust which is a little weird so we’re going to have to haggle it around the way we want it we’re going to put a repeater point into a block with some redstone and that should cycle back around like that and then this is going to be another

Torch tower up here but on each of these levels we want to break this inside one which i guess got picked up by the hopper don’t worry about that i’m not ignoring the sound it sounds because there’s a thing in here and there’s nothing in there okay

So because we broke that it might be a little noisy while we’re doing this but for here we want four ticks and three ticks and then we want a slab with one take so now we’re going to place another block place another torch place another slab

Break this and we’re going to do the same thing again that’s three this is four and then this is one and then we’re also going to place a torch inside a rail a torch on the outside so now outside inside two slabs break one two three

One two three four one block two torches slab slab break one two three one two three four one and i jumped off and what i missed was one block and then one more torch and you’ll see all these torches should be lined up with the repeaters so now i’m gonna go up here

I’m going to open this top chest oh i put blocks on top of it okay i replaced the blocks with stairs so now i can open the chests we’re going to click on the top chest and then let’s say it’s full with comparators redstone dust and

Furnaces sure and if i look on this chest let’s put a couple of redstone dust a couple of furnaces and then a couple of jack-o-lanterns okay so i made a mistake but i know what it is i forgot torches on the inside right here you want to put these

And now you’ll have your fully silent item sorting system okay the items are being moved now okay these need to power the okay and you get it just add torches there i’m sorry that’s my bed and so now moment of truth okay these are here and those are there

Okay uh now if i put furnaces in here and i put uh carrots carrots now we wait for the carrots everything’s silent everything’s working i’m happy everyone’s subscribing to the youtube channel and making me happy all i love when people do that uh that’s going through and if i look up here
