Yo what is going on guys my name is encrypted welcome back to the channel and in today’s video I’ve got a pretty special video for you guys today as you guys can see with what I’m looking at right now this is a mob farm slash mob grinder and we are currently on Minecraft bedrock edition which those who didn’t know building these kind of things in Minecraft bedrock edition isn’t the easiest thing to do just based off of you know the way if they have like the spawning mechanics and the way the game works in general not the Easiest thing to do so the fact that we’ve got this here is pretty awesome and by the way it works great this thing it’s pretty damn efficient I found a way to make it even more efficient than it normally is and before I sit here though And take all the credit for this this is actually not my design this is a design by another user on YouTube which I’m gonna leave his video and his name in the description but his name is TMC blocking ttan major shout-out to that guy for helping make this video possible By me I’ll make in his video I wanted to build a mob grinder basically and I didn’t know how to do it and I didn’t know how you know I should go about doing it so I went ahead and looked up some tutorials online and out of all the Tutorials I saw I loved his the best I thought it was the easiest the simplest method and honestly it just it works so good and it’s so simple that literally anyone could get on right now and do it in my opinion I think anyone could do it So again major shout-out to that guy that guy his name is TMC blocking ttan you guys can go check out his channel drop him the sub like his video if you want but yeah he did a really good job explaining the whole process and the way it works and everything and hopefully I Can do just as good of a job if not even better with this video so well yeah anyways guys before I get into it though make sure if you guys are new please subscribe to the channel we are working our way up to 200 get into the video let’s go alright guys so as you can see that giant mob farm up there is exactly what we’re gonna be building and I’m actually gonna walk through this with you guys I’m gonna be doing this Myself as I talk through it which it’s kind of rare I don’t normally do commentaries like that but today this is an exception because this is a pretty big dope well it’s not like a super big build but you know it’s big enough to have to do this live so here’s what We’re gonna do alright we’re gonna be building this over an ocean and the reason for that is because the mobs that are gonna spawn in the mob farm flash grinder are going to be primarily you know hostile mobs like skeletons creepers and you know zombies whatever But if you build it above water fish will spawn in that and you know I mean it’s for free extra mob you might as well go for it so you know build it over water you can get fish to spawn so here’s what we’re gonna do we’re gonna build it over water Normally you’d have to go you know as deep underwater and start you know building from the bottom and then going up in this case we’re just going to use a lily pad to start the building process up above the water which will be easier so here’s how we’re gonna do it you’re Gonna need about 128 blocks of anything dirt stone cobblestone whatever you want get 128 blocks of that which is roughly two stacks of that block and we’re gonna build straight up I’m gonna build straight up 128 blocks or two stacks of whatever block you want so let’s go All right so that should just about do it I kind of just eyeballed it to be honest as you can see I solved that one over there so kind of just eyeballing it now what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna build ourselves a tiny little 4×4 platform so we’re gonna build four Blocks long and four blocks wide and we can count if you want one two three one two three one yep we’re good so now that we have that platform dope we can go ahead and break these blocks if I can get in there okay so we got our platform ready to go now What you’re gonna do is you are going to put down up two chests we’re going to make a large chest and then what we’re gonna do is we are going to attach hoppers to it all right so it’s gonna be like that perfect now in case you’re wondering what the Hoppers are here for basically we’re going to be building a like kind of like a funnel I guess you could call it for the mobs to fall into and they’re going to fall all the way down they’re gonna take enough fall damage to die on impact from hitting the hoppers and then Whatever items they draw into the hoppers are going to go into the chest and basically while you’ll be standing here at Kay cuz you know that’s how bad rock works they won’t spawn unless you’re near them you’ll be right here afk and they’ll be falling behind you Just dying and filling the chest with all their loot so that’s the way this is this is gonna be going now we have this all built and ready to go what we’re gonna do next is we are going to build about 25 to 30 blocks high I’m probably Gonna go 30 blocks high just to make sure they take enough fall damage whenever they hit but you can usually as long as you get at least 25 blocks tall on this you’ll be good so we’re gonna go up alright so this little pillar I built right here is About 30 blocks tall and as you can see I used black stained glass just because I thought it’d look cooler but you can use any block for this you can use regular glass you’d use stone cobblestone dirt doesn’t matter you can use whatever blocks you want the I just chose to go with black stained glass because like I said I thought it sounded cool so what we’re gonna do now is we are going to build a little ring I guess you’d say like a platform kind of circling around the hoppers like this Okay and then we’re gonna check yep I think that’s pretty much perfect it has to be directly above the hoppers this is going to be the hole that the mobs fall into so we want to make sure that no matter what they’re only going to fall On at least one of these four hoppers so that’s the goal of that and it looks like we did that pretty good so nice now what we’re gonna do is we are going to finish building the funnel and just like this pillar right here that’s all we’re Gonna do we’re just gonna keep building pillars until this whole thing is fully enclosed so I’m going to speed through this and feel free to pause whenever you need to And just a quick little thing I’m gonna throw in real quick make sure whenever you’re building the pillars above the chest make sure you do it like this leave one block high that way whenever like if mobs fall down here and they’re wearing like armor or something and they Don’t die from fall damage you can pull out a sword and attack them through the glass so make sure you leave at least one block gap right here so just figured I’d throw that end all right perfect so as you can see we have it fully enclosed it’s basically just like a Giant tube or a hole for them to fall in and as you can see we have all the hoppers connected to the chest so looking pretty good so far and like I said one more time just as a reminder you can use any block you want for this You don’t have to use glass you don’t have to use anything specific any block you want I just chose to go with glass because I thought looked cool so here is the next part we have this little platform up here what we’re going to be doing is we’re going to be building four Separate paths that are all going to tie into this hole so what we’re gonna do we’re going to do it like this it’s gonna be eight blocks long the path will be eight blocks long and we’re gonna count it so here’s one two three four five six seven eight and then we’re Gonna finish this part right here oh we’re going to do that on all of these sides so I’ll speed through this all right so we have a path of eight blocks on each side here four in total and what we’re going to be doing is we Are going to build a little wall around each of these paths kind of like this right so we’re gonna be building this exact path and we’re gonna do that on all of the other three paths so again I’ll speed through this alright perfect now what we’re gonna do next is we are Going to put two water buckets at the end of each of these paths now quick little tip for you if you’re doing this in survival which you definitely probably are build a little infinite water source do that somewhere near here that way you can just keep refilling buckets over and over because you’re Going to need a few buckets water for this so I put one too as you can see it just barely reaches the end just barely and that’s gonna push all the mobs into the hole and we’re gonna explain this a little better here soon but for now let’s just keep going Put you on there one two one two and then final path one and two perfect so all of the paths are filled with water they’re gonna be pushing the mobs whenever they fall into the water it’s gonna be pushing them down the hole into the little pit and they’ll die and Drop their loot into the chest so what we’re gonna do next is we’re gonna build a little bit of a wall an even bigger wall we’re gonna add to this wall so I’m gonna keep going all right now we have a two-block sized wall surrounding these paths which is Exactly what we want and now what we’re gonna do is we are going to build a bigger platform basically we’re going to build the platform that the mobs can spawn on and it’s pretty simple it just is a little tedious but again I’ll speed through this but real quick here’s what We’re gonna do all right so here’s one out of the four platforms right here this is how it should look for some reason there will be one block kind of one row I guess you’d say a one row of blocks missing this is exactly how it Should look like so just copy this onto all of the other platforms and again I’ll speed through it so you can see all right so Oh as you can see there’s a fish to fish oh three fish okay so yeah see this is the benefit of building it Above water fish are gonna spawn into the mob grinder and then eventually they’ll fall into there and you’ll get free food and stuff so that’s one little thing I can’t believe that actually happened while we were doing this awesome so now that we have the platform’s built what we’re gonna do Next is we’re actually going to trick the mobs into standing into the water now the way you’re gonna do this is you’re going to put trapdoors all around the sides of the pads just like this you can copy exactly what I’m doing that’s how you need to do it and In case you’re wondering the reason we’re using trapdoors is because whenever you close a trapdoor you obviously can’t stand on it but for some reason whenever there’s a trapdoor even when it’s closed mobs and the AI in the game don’t understand that the doors closed so whenever it’s open like this You can stand on it but when it’s closed you can’t for some reason in the game the mobs always think the door is open even when it’s not so they’ll just walk over it and stand on it and then they’ll slowly fall in and then you know they’ll Fall to their death and die so that’s why we’re gonna be using trapdoors kind of weird but hey I’m not complaining all right there we go all of the trapdoors are now placed and ready to go now there’s one thing left to do and that is To finish the top area so the mobs can spawn in and we can start farming their resources so what we’re gonna do is this is probably the easiest part but the longest part we’re just going to wrap around the sides with blocks and just build walls and then a ceiling so I’ll Speed through this part so you guys can see And as you guys can see we just finished building the wall around it and now all that’s left to do is put the ceiling on it however there actually is one thing we could do to make this even more efficient and this is totally up to you If you want to do this this next part but I’m going to show you guys how to make a like mob farm tear so right now we have a mob farm tier 1 which means there’s only one floor where mops are gonna spawn and drop into the hole but We can actually add more floors to this grinder which obviously is just going to make it so more mobs are gonna spawn in we’re gonna get more loot and it’s kind of it a little more work to do but it’s definitely worth it in my opinion because you know you’re gonna be getting More mops so real quick though I do want to show you this is what it looks like this is actually what this is this is a tier 2 mob grinder here’s the first floor right here and then right here is the second floor and actually I’m gonna Break in and show you guys see we have a witch and a scallion here which is kind of weird for some reason they weren’t jumping off they should but yeah oh look at that yeah sometimes they get kind of stuck on the water current with the current update but don’t worry it works For the most part but yeah that’s what that looks like on the inside whenever it’s all ready to go so what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna add another tier to this one right here we’re gonna make it a tier 2 and it doesn’t have to stop at Tier 2 I think it can go up to like tier 4 or five maybe even six I think it all depends on how high you built up if you built up too high then obviously you’re only gonna be able to get in a few tears but I’m curious to see if anyone’s built Like a freaking hot like maybe a 10 tier farm I’d be pretty crazy if you did but anyways let’s get working on this All right so we have the next set of platforms built for the mobs to spawn on and what we’re gonna do is the same thing we did before add trapdoors close them like so and do it all around on all these platforms so I’m gonna speed through this again All right and the last thing to do is build more walls and then build the ceiling for this side so we’re gonna get to work on that now All right and we are finally done that’s where it took forever I might just cut that part out completely but here we are finally finished it and let’s go inside real quick let’s see what we got so as you can see it is pretty dark in Here even though we have a little hole open up in the ceiling it’s still pretty dark in here I’m gonna go down here see we got so as you can see this is plenty of room for mobs to spawn on each platform what they’re gonna do is they’re gonna see the trapdoor they’re Gonna think it’s a normal block they’re gonna step on it and then they’re gonna fall in the water and the water is going to slowly push them all the way down to their death and somehow a zombie got here I don’t even know how oh it’s cuz It’s not let that’s why anyways yes this is what it should look like this is how it should be done and up here we don’t have to have any water or anything they should just walk onto the platform and die oh look a spider spider spawn spiders Are kind of annoying in this because they obviously can climb walls so they’ll kind of climb bit in and out of the pit so spiders might not be the best thing to be trying to kill with this but everything else though everything else is definitely killable with this one Last thing though is I would light up the top a good bit because when it gets dark out at night mobs are gonna try to spawn up here and believe me they love spawning up here I don’t know why but they just freaking love spawning on this So go ahead and light this place up pretty good I might have overdone it a bit but you definitely don’t need to light it up that much but lay it up enough to where they won’t spawn and you should be good and then we’re gonna come On down here and we’re gonna get rid of our friend cuz he’s annoying oh look look we already got some stuff in here this is from the fish that spawned earlier and Oh spider yep see perfect there’s my example uh yeah I’m gonna actually turn it so it will turn tonight Because I want to show you guys what it looks like whenever did someone stop no okay so anyways oh wow okay stuff spawning there is stuff spawning okay Wow see yeah that’s that’s awesome that’s really cool it’s showing all that so what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna wait Here for about five minutes and I’m gonna come back and we’re gonna see how much of the chest has filled up so I’ll be back okay so it has been roughly five minutes it’s been a little over four minutes actually but here is what this looks like this is About five minutes worth of afk mob farming and it’s not even dark out yet either look at this there’s still stuff falling in we got for gunpowder 15 run flesh six string four bones and then the fish I’m not gonna count because we had those whenever we first started making This so I’m not gonna count those but still five minutes got us of you know some of these materials from mobs not only is this you know five minutes worth of materials we gained just from standing here but we were just standing here we weren’t doing anything at all we Were literally just afk and we got all these resources for free in five minutes so if we went afk for let’s say an hour this whole chest could be like halfway filled with nothing but gunpowder rotten flesh straying bones helpful survival items that you’re gonna want for you know late game early game Whatever game you’ll want these materials and this mod farm is definitely dition amount not to mention it’s about to turn nighttime and I feel like that’s definitely gonna help increase the spawn rate up there but another thing to mention is this is just a Tier two farm wheat like I said we can Actually add more to this if I want to right now I could break most of the ceiling and add another tier in another tier and another one I think you can do like five or six or for someone somewhere around there you can do that Many I know the guy that made this video well the guy that made the tutorial that I’m using to make this video said that he had like a three-tier farm or something like that he said it does really good in a survival world I mean you can seriously like this farm is so Efficient this is such a good farm I’m definitely gonna be making one of these in my survival world but I just wanted to make this video to show you guys that I’ll look at that the baby zombies from I’ve just barely and somehow landed on the other zombie and it broke its fall That’s actually funny anyways that happens that’s why we have one block gap right here so we can just kill a little [ __ ] like that and there he’s dead let’s see how much materials so we’re mainly getting like rotten flesh now cuz you know zombies obviously are annoying and they’re just gonna keep Spawning but hey anything could spawn up there you know there’s witches Skelly’s creepers anything so yeah we’re just gonna keep letting this thing go to town and hopefully you guys can enjoy making this it’s a pretty easy build in my opinion it is a little tedious on parts But I mean you know remember it’s just one block that’s pretty much the only thing you’re gonna need to build this is one block and that’s it well like one block type I mean really needed a lot of blocks but like only one block type like cobblestone stone oh I’m glitching out But yeah anyways guys I do want to say real quick though this was my first tutorial I’ve done where I like did it live I don’t normally do live tutorials so I’m sorry if like you know there are parts but I was stuttering or if it came Across as like confusing maybe you don’t remember this is my first live con for a tutorial so it was a little stressful I was a little nervous but uh I think it turned out decent and I’m hopefully gonna like the finished product but anyways guys hopefully you guys were Able to figure out how to do this you know the good thing about this tutorial is even if I didn’t say a word like you probably still figure out how to build it just from watching me
