Neon Infinity – Smoother Biomes & More! Minecraft 1.18 Experimental Snapshot 6

The channel but anyways let’s get into the changes first up tweaked placement of the new mountain biome so that they match the mountain terrain and temperature better now we can actually see this here as we have a warmer climate in this sort of like river stone

Area and then we have a cooler climate of this tiger area as you can see the snowy slopes kind of generates further down here simply because it’s cooler down here so of course it’s going to generate further down cold microbiome placements have been reduced now that doesn’t mean they’re all

Completely gone as you can see there’s still one here a snowy slopes that is very small but they actually want to aim to reduce these and they are called bird poop microbiomes for a reason because they just look like a massive bird to took a poop next up lush caves are back

To how they were in snapshot 4 because apparently an accidental change caused them to be smaller and more fragmented so now your lush caves are back to normal and they’re going to be whole again yay giant tree tiger and giant spruce tiger are no longer cold climates

So that means they’re less likely to be mixed in with snowy biomes as you can see over there that’s a snowy biome of course and then the giant tree tiger is over here now of course we did see this in previous snapshots you know these biomes being mixed in with the mountains

But i’m assuming that that’s less likely to happen now maybe not at all next up is a water spring nerf following the buff from last week that they can generate in dirt they now are just slightly less likely to spawn that’s of course to counter what happened last week

So you’re not really gonna notice it unless you do some extremely big testing but yeah on to the next one now the spawning of underwater magma has been slightly increased now we’ll get onto a sort of similar change later this is why they’re changing this because you can get more air in the

Aquifers now and aquifer spawn rates have been increased sort of i will go over it literally in a few minutes never mind few minutes is literally the next change on the change log and that is underwater caves are now going to be linking to underground caves originally they didn’t do this and

They’re just kind of like be their own thing but now they’re actually going to be trying anyways to link to underground caves so you can dive go into a cave and hopefully well an underwater one and hopefully find you know a regular cave it might take some searching though because of course

Well yeah it’s minecraft and a very similar change underwater ravines make a grand return they originally were actually removed but now they are open well they weren’t removed but they they weren’t exposed to the ocean like this so now they are back and yeah it adds a lot more sort of

Ambience to the water because you know there’s a giant crack in the bottom of the ocean kind of scary horses donkeys and mules will now follow if you are holding these three food items so first we have golden carrot as you can see here they are following me with this

Golden apples you know if you want to be a bit more rich they are following with this as well now if you want to just be absolutely flexing on those haters then give them some enchanted golden apples and they’ll still follow you because they are extremely greedy they only want

Me for my golden apples god damn it and last but not least swamps can now generate in dry areas now the previous snapshot they weren’t able to but now they are but it does kind of make sense that they’re not able to but that’s because of a microbiome issue

Where a small area will be drier than its surrounding area which causes a whole bunch of technical stuff we’re not here for that we’re here for the changes but as you can see we have a swamp here kinda in a dry area but then again it’s literally right next to a frozen lake

But there is one over here and another underwater ravine as you can see in a glow squid this is more dry i suppose yeah yeah yeah this is this is more dry than that over there but yes that is about it for this snapshot now hopefully next week will be a regular
