Building a Bridge to the Nether Portal
Today, The Toaster is embarking on a new project in their Minecraft Let’s Play series. They are building a bridge that will lead them to a permanent nether portal. This new portal will provide easy access to the nether from their base, without the constant noise from the existing portals for the experience and gold farms.
Constructing the Bridge
The Toaster plans to make the bridge primarily out of wood, with a width of three blocks. They start by building a platform of three blocks, then raising it and repeating the pattern. The bridge will also have a descent at one end, and the Toaster plans to add fences at the bottom to give it a finished look.
As they continue building, they encounter some obstacles, such as needing to bridge up to reach certain areas. They also decide to wait until daytime to continue construction, as they prefer not to build at night.
Finishing Touches
After fast-forwarding to daytime, The Toaster completes the final platform for the bridge. They then begin to work on the area where the nether portal will be located. They use logs and fences to create a visually appealing and functional space for the portal.
With the framework in place, The Toaster outlines the portal area with nether bricks, planning to complete the build with more materials from the nether itself.
As the episode comes to a close, The Toaster admires their handiwork, pleased with the progress made on the bridge and the portal area. They look forward to future episodes where they can continue to develop and improve their Minecraft world.
