In this video I’m going to teach you how to play Minecraft local multiplayer on the switch it’s a very easy process so make sure to follow along the only requirement to play local multiplayer on Minecraft on your Nintendo switch is to make sure that you have a Microsoft Account linked usually the first time you open up Minecraft on any platform you will be asked to input a Microsoft account but if for whatever reason you aren’t sure if you have a Microsoft account I recommend going into the settings and under General you will find the account category I’m not going to Select it because it contains some personal information but this is where you have to go to properly set up a Microsoft account the reason why you need a Microsoft account is because people are going to be able to find you send invites and play together by using Your Microsoft gamertag so once you are done with this process of setting up an account for Minecraft you can go over to play and from this point onwards it is extremely straightforward switch over to the Friends Tab and you will notice that I am doing this process on PC but don’t Worry the process is going to be exactly the same for your Nintendo switch in here go over to add friend and you will be able to search by people using their gamertag so you can type out whichever name you want and you will be able to Send them a friend request they will get a notification that they have to accept inside of Minecraft and usually they are going to be tagged as a friend for you once both of you have added each other you will be able to see their status so If you notice this little icon at the right side of their name usually it is going to change to Green when they are online inside of Minecraft now either one of you can join a world or a realm if you want an even better experience and the other person will be able to Switch over to the Friends tab see that you are online playing and under joinable friends they will be able to join together with you as long as both of you addit each other using your respective gamertags unfortunately I cannot show you this whole process because I don’t have anyone else to help Me demonstrate this but it is is extremely straightforward just join any world and you will be able to play together when you switch over to the Friends Tab and you join the friend who you want to play with you can repeat this process as many times as you wish With as many friends as you have and as long as they have crossplay enabled on Console you will be able to play with each other I hope I was able to help you on how to play Minecraft local multiplayer on the Nintendo switch if this video helped you please be sure to Leave a like And subscribe from our very easy tips thank you for watching Video Information
