New Better Minecraft 1.20! Day 1 Stream

Through a lot of things I got to see if sophisticated backpacks have 1.20 a lot of mod authors are moving their stuff over to 1.20 so I’m going to bring Leela into the Discord real quick or into the stream real quick okay Miss Divine you’re live in

My character uh screen where he’s in that little glass square to the right of the armor there upper leftand corner of that little screen there’s a little circle you click that and it gives you the other set of wearable things to make it easier so you’re not clicking every

One of them you can shift click the heart and it’ll put it in a [ __ ] or a slot that suits it in which case it put it on my chest so this please do oh yeah yeah I can uh interrupt my tutorial okay one second are you got a lot of stuff

Mining enchant to activate vein mining very cool so yeah it’s showing you most immediate buttons to use um the claiming screen doesn’t really affect us because that’s when you do different teams and your team can claim land or claim an area and the other team can’t hinder it but we don’t

Have that so that doesn’t really matter for us but the uh the the but the R button the U button’s very useful along with the uh rightclick one I’ll try the Z one but yeah these tutorials like after those three they they are useful and I want to do a

Recording or stream some of them uh eventually whenever I or the book I’ll do a solo session do what the tutorials are you talking about that the things in the book I’m talking about when you hit the inventory upper leftand corner where it says quests you click that and then there’s

It has the three you know your inventory tutorial the quest tutorial which is what we’re doing and how it and how it helps and then the important controls which this one is indeed important for your key Bindings that you can use to help with uh reading the descriptions

And the uses and the recipes it it helps out a lot especially for uh Bedrock players that move over to this they’re able it helps them to CRA uh to craft things in a different way than to click and it be there but I’m

Not I’m going to wait uh on when I’m in Here solo to do the remainder of the quest because then there won’t be no worry and sleeping and such but on the left the far left of the screen while you’re in the quest there’s that white arrow that points towards the

Right because you can expand it if you hover over it it will it’s a way you can click around to get to the tutorial to see the dimensions and each Dimension you can click Overworld nether the everbrite the ever Dawn and so forth you can click on them and it will give you

Quests to do in those and give you certain items you can only get in the quests so that’s really freaking cool cuz uh there’s way more quests than what you see you have to go to the left and then you got tutorials dimensions and audities and you can work on any of

Those once you click them it is really neat how they done that did you say we you you don’t have that is that what you said oh no I have it okay you have it all right yeah it’s uh it’ll show you uh important and new items work

Tables uh for each section it’s really it’s really useful I really like it even all the way down to decorations for a lazy boy and chairs it shows you how to what they can you can not only craft them and use them but they have use of

Storage and the drawers and stuff like that and the dimensions one is really cool the uh these dimensions are very indepth Dimensions they’re not like um the data pack people can download with the 11 Dimensions each Dimension only has a couple of different blocks in it those are pretty bland they do certain

Things but they’re kind of bland but these Dimensions that come with better Minecraft they’re very indepth and have their own uh storyline so it’s really cool the everbrite and the ever Dawn that’s the ones from the mod pack uh blue sky that you were talking about

That you wanted to check out there they are and uh enter the everbrite is the first Quest um it tells you where you can find the portal blocks it says portal blocks can be found in or outside the gatekeeper’s home I didn’t even know that till just now um then it will tell

The sticks in my inventory let me do it real quick cuz I do have them here um all right they’re in my inventory I click uh ladder and then there’s a plus sign beside it that says move items I click that and then it puts them

In and then I can uh shift click the ladder right there and it shouldn’t make them um let me see if I did that what would it do now I still have the sticks in my inventory but now that I see how to make it I could just click

And drag the sticks through the squares and it evenly distributes them into the the crafting table then I shift click this and it will make as many as it can I don’t know if you’re able to see it uh see what I did set it up yeah you

Have to drag them to each one that’s the annoying instead of just being able to but okay yeah it’s a little tougher in the last version yeah it’s a little it’s the original way you know they did it um the the uh having the option to do it the Bedrock way

Uh they did that originally to the original game but got an uproar about it so they took it out but like let’s see if I go to controls the ji that means you okay it’s just the original way the game was built that’s the way it was supposed to

Be it made it the only reason why they did it in Bedrock is because a controller is used on the consoles so they made it to where you can just click the item you want and it gives it to you but originally this was never meant to

Go on a console with controllers so they there was no such thing that was part of the challenge was getting the crafting recipe and getting it uh in your in in your crafting table okay and it was actually tougher than that this made it a little bit

Easier but some people think it is and others think it ain’t I mean without the the the list where you can you know put in what you want to craft and it bring it bring it up in in the actual crafting table you have to memorize every single recipe

Because it’s that’s the challenge yeah but in modded there’s so many of them they did make it to where you can look up the Autumn and then click it like we can here so yeah you just type the item you need there it is you click it and it’ll

Show you the the recipe um which is more than it ever used to do or it will show you the recipe and you can click the button for it to put it in the uh crafting table for you like I showed you let’s see oh

Yeah but like I said I came from java so that’s why it doesn’t affect I I didn’t think nothing of it I just uh when I go to my inventory to craft I just click it on the right side and there it is I know what to put in there the last game
