New DLC! The Creeping Winter! – Minecraft Dungeons Gameplay Walkthrough Part 18 – Frosted Fjord!

Hello zebraherd welcome back to minecraft dungeons today there is a whole bunch of stuff going on we have the brand new dlc update the creeping winter as well as a bunch of free content being added as you can see there’s new merchants all over the place so we really got to

Get into a couple things in today’s episode to really take a look at it so over here travel to new realms we have the creeping winter and i don’t see any sometimes just like little descriptions of the area i’m not seeing that anywhere um i i guess we can see you know

Oh gosh something over here yeah that’s right there’s the daily trials now that’s something new as well is that we have daily missions that we can try out so maybe we’ll look at that later for right now though i want to just go into mission select and do um

Not that but we’ll start with the creepy winter the first level today is going to be frosted fjord as you can see with the story with this one the winding wintry path to reach the source the creeping winter we must journey into the deep treaches of the wintry wilderness

With only a frozen river as our guide icy paths and dangerous enemies attack through the wind and snow but the distant sight of a lone fortress could serve as a sanctuary from the elements so yeah this one seems like a lot of fun as you can see we’re going to be going on

I guess hard mode even then we have like a good jump on i don’t know if we should change to adventure difficulty yeah i guess we could because we still um 39 that we can handle that all right let’s go for that we can also get a couple different

Artifacts and gear so that’s really cool so yeah let’s get started with our first level here in the creeping winter dlc very excited for this i’ve been missing this game a lot so it’s cool that there’s new content and stuff for us to check i’ll be checking out some more of the

Free content that was added by the end of today’s episode um but i wanted to get right into the dlc if i could whoa when the orb of dominance shattered it split into powerful shards that spread across the overworld a shard fell upon this unlucky land and a creeping winter is now

Consuming this once lively place until the shard is destroyed the devastating frost will continue to spread smothering all life in snow and shadow was there was there a polar bear oh that’s so cute all right let’s get into it then so um yeah it’s i guess

It’s been a while since i’ve last played so if i’m a little rusty today i do apologize but i’m very excited to sort of get into it and hopefully figure some things out well okay don’t do that whoops um i gotta break the ice oh interesting so

There’s a lot of things going on here for sure that i gotta sort of keep in mind as we make our way through uh but yeah i’ll be searching around there’s apparently just like new ways to unlock things new new things to find uh i probably should

Have read the update page but i was just so excited to get into it i just haven’t had the chance um what’s in here that’s so cool but i think that you know the whole thing is just sort of designed to be a little bit more explorable and i think some of the

Older levels have new gear now so let me know if you’d like me to go back to those to check stuff out what do we have over here so we can go inside these little buildings so far they don’t have too much but that might change at any moment so

No enemies just yet yeah we’ll be seeing you know a whole set of new types of enemies just like we do with the jungle awakens hopefully because we’re in a new environment oh my oh this place is burning up that’s not good do we have some really good gear right

Now from what i remember oh here we go let’s get you real quick oh man i’m gonna have to like really oh wow this hammer is cool yeah it sort of sucks everybody over i don’t know i think we only just got that at the end of the previous episode

Or something because i don’t really remember it too much but it’s still very cool this whole market is sort of destroyed hmm can we go inside of this one we can but once again there’s not much force just yet oh there we go i i use my potion i end

Up dropping a strength potion as well uh maybe in here nope it sounds like there’s maybe a chest nearby though probably over here then if i had the gas something like that or in that room it’s like the blacksmith room or something there’s a golden block over there cool

This is not too much action hi polar bear i don’t want to attack it you’re too adorable i love polar bears oh boy here comes some more of the uh are these wither skeletons i believe i always get the names mixed up there we go oh no the bunny i’m sorry buddy

That’s our first time seeing a bunny as well which is cool it’s just the bunny is in the aim of fire that’s very not good oh yeah that’s right we can’t go to the water i keep forgetting let’s break that ice real quick get back up there

Excuse me i just wish the wildlife would move out of the way yeah this hammer has some great area of effect to it that i really appreciate so far oh no we got these guys again let’s get rid of them there we go oh swiftness potion coming

In oh i made the polar bear mad i’m sorry polar bear oh the polar bears are tough there we go grab some bread ah that’s a polar bear as well i’m sorry i’m sorry it doesn’t seem like i’m missing too much so far so let’s keep it going

And i’m sure there’s gonna be secret levels and stuff and like cool things to find in that way i mean obviously mostly focus on making our main way through the path for now but as the game progresses we’ll be checking out other stuff it’ll be a lot of fun

And what about up here can’t go up that way yeah as per usual with this game um it’s just about trying to find as many of the secrets as we can if we can’t find them all so be it it’s always sort of kind of randomly generated anyways

Can i get no i can get over there i don’t think it’s worth it though oh that actually used up one of my lives that’s not good got to be very careful of that i feel like in other things though we’re level 47 i think there’s an

Achievement to get the level 50 so definitely going to be working towards that throughout this dlc here we go um there we go there’s the fireworks under these are the flame air the fireworks even better i need to use these a little more often especially in an area like

This i feel like they want to do too well with flames i like the frozen zombies oh here’s a chest not too much in it but it’s something there we go oh no i’m trapped here’s a lot more enemies yes so so far adventure mode isn’t too bad

This is our first time really going into it instead of um it just being default mode and so far we’re handling it without too much of an issue let’s pick up that food real quick of course i’m sure the rough is going to get going later down the line we might

Have to change the difficulty back at some point but oh that was good the ice is so slippery that’s a fun mechanic to deal with but it’s also a little scary awesome nobody’s dropped any gear yet either hopefully we do find new stuff soon ooh so we do have multiple paths to go

Oh sweet fruit what does that do freezing resistance we might as well use that while i still haven’t what’s going on here okay hitting them with the poison and the fire arrow seems to be working pretty well all right once again i’m sorry polar bear we picked up some food there more

Enemies are coming in gotcha because i don’t want to go too far this way but i keep on getting everybody’s attention i mean this area still has like a while to gap so i want to go the other direction there for sure shadow brew the shadow brew is not so

Helpful if you immediately attack after using it i guess i didn’t need that did i all right well this is still very cool i love ice areas in minecraft and just in games in general i really like the cold sometimes which you know not the zebra’s natural habitat but

Doesn’t mean i can’t appreciate something a little different you know oh here we go here we go nice let’s get this guy a little bit okay oh i got that strength potion and the sweeper again so the sweet brew is definitely new and it’s obviously pretty context

Sensitive to this dlc see how this is the only one that’s really had like snow and stuff i think what i remember so this way didn’t have too much to it but it could have once again i hear the sound effects as if there’s a chest nearby

But i’m also very bad at finding those things or maybe that’s that was the sound of the potion going on who knows either way i do have 10 points is there anything i have right now wait what oh gosh i unequipped that’s not what i wanted um

Is anything that i have right now upgradeable i don’t think so no no no my hammer is this is max so let’s take a look at our hammer real quick we have smiting increases damage against undead um looting increases a chance for moms to drop consumables and weakening your attacks decrease the

Attack damage volume by enemies i think i like this one and we’re just gonna pay for that to be all filled up not bad because i also have this going on um they’re both fun i might switch back to this if i start to struggle uh but that’s really all i can upgrade

Right now but it shows we have a lot of extra points so we can have two fully upgraded weapons but i don’t know too much about the new shop merchants and that’s what i’m gonna get excited to see at the end of today’s episode um i know that at least there’s one where

You can gift things to other players that sounds really cool especially if you’re playing multiplayer um on top of that hopefully there’s a merchant that allows us to like you know keep weapons or just store them in a bank somewhere like that would be so cool that’s all i really want

Or upgrade them so that they keep up because that’s sort of the thing they fall off and damage eventually even if you want to keep using them so i would love it if they could you know make an ability just to upgrade the ah i don’t think i can get up there

Before no no no i definitely can’t i really want those arrows trying to keep to as many arrows as i can ready and then roll over there you can really build up some speed over the uh yeah what is it called um ice all right so far so good though like

Yeah for being adventure mode we’re not struggling at all we’re definitely getting higher up there in the levels and stuff and with the gear i can only hope that the the new gear we find is up to par with everything there we go come on come on gotcha yeah

I’d love to hear have you been able to get the creeping winter dlc of course this is the second dlc we already played through um the jungle we can see lc and now it was a ton of fun as well lots of cool stuff going on that

Cool boss plate secret levels and gear and we got smooth operator as an achievement don’t know what that one really means but i’m glad to have it whoa i’m sort of curious about what’s over there you think there’s got to be something but that’s where we were before maybe not anyways

I don’t know why i did that i’m so sorry bunnies i just get a little a little crazy after defeating everybody i just got to get everybody gone what’s up here um we got that it’s not really too much in terms of secrets so far but i’m sure i’m missing some kind of

Secret level or something it always happens the first time through definitely still gotta get used to the ice though i hear a polar bear don’t see one weird there we go oh i’m low on health let’s go ahead and do that get that strength potion now um roll

Over here poison a bunch of them it also gets them all stuck in place as well which is really good allows me to keep attacking them quite easily and oh boy oh boy what do we got survive the ambush i would love to new event arena battle

Interesting he said on the top right usually doesn’t do that i don’t think there we go pretty good pretty good so far we’re keeping up with everybody no problem oh is there somebody over here yes that got everybody nice trying to figure out the range of that definitely isn’t too bad i’m definitely

Using arrows more than i am my main weapon mostly because of things like that and also it just ow a really good one it’s a really good bow so that time it didn’t really do too much but hey it’s fine it’s fine so it looks like everything in this area

So we’re gonna keep moving these guys that make the totem poles are definitely some of the more annoying ones but we’ve dealt with them plenty of times so we’re supposed to be going to the right so you know that means we’re going to the left we’ll go to the right eventually we want

To get the non-essential things out of the way first right wow there we go and not too much over here yeah i’m a little bummed that we haven’t seen too much being dropped we haven’t seen any new gear or weapons or anything in general but the more enemies we defeat here we go

There’s a chance for something right there we go i’m sorry polar bear oh the snowball let’s take a look at that um so right now we have of course our uh harp crossbow we have quite a few different crossbows now but the hard cross or the snowball is

Three damage more oh gosh am i being attacked can you please not there we go every time i use a potion i get a couple more let me hide in this halfway melted igloo the snowbound um three damage more freezes on impact those who face this snow bone battle

Must also prepare to face the chill of freezing wintry winds i’ll try it i don’t think it’s something i’m going to keep with but anytime we get a new weapon i want to check it out so what is this it’s like some kind of sawmill interesting

Is this a charge oh it is so this will obviously slow enemies down a little bit i think that this might be good for dealing with enemies that aren’t crowds like if it’s just like one boss fight or something or just one particularly tough enemy i think this would be really good so

Maybe we can hold on to this but we could try it out just for a bit right now oh the one hit takedown on that guy that’s what i like to see whenever possible and i guess you should it could have shortcut this way interesting

So yeah this is the only way to go now oh this whole area is frozen what’s going on with this oh okay three ways to go then which one is the right way oh i see okay so i got it right on the first try well i definitely wanted to uh take on

Whatever is possible don’t want to try to not get hurt so now i have fire frostbows i don’t know if that works but oh my gosh oh my gosh this is a problem actually this is like a real problem yeah i probably need the other bow and quick because they’re catching up

I’m sorry but just this specific situation is really going to have the spread right and there’s more of them still got to be careful oh let’s get that sweet brew there we go so we got two chests for it so definitely it was worth doing and i

Would probably would have wanted to do it either way but i guess i got lucky the first time around with the right one awesome so here we are in this cave but usually the dlc levels have a nice length to them so we should hopefully have a lot of fun in today’s

Episode still going through everything but we’ll find out we get rid of the little cave spiders but so far this hammer’s holding up pretty well most enemies can take out in one hit there’s still another there we go the strength potion also helps quite a lot

It feels like there’s quite a lot of ways to go i’m stuck there we go just trying to make the most of this potion then we have a bunch of arrows right now so i don’t have to worry about wasting any of them really yeah it’s really cool that this game is

Still being updated this was you know the second of two dlcs that they have confirmed but i really do hope that there’s more after that of course we could talk about that more once we complete this one but there’s the scale mount now cool off to take a look at that later on

This whole area is a little a little sort of winding a little topsy-turvy i might get lost along the way there we go here are those guys got it polar bears very often drop health out even though i don’t prefer to attack them might be worth considering from time to time gotcha

See it’s saying to go to the left here so let’s not do that this cave is huge i i just don’t know where to begin with all this can i not get up here there we go i gotcha i keep attacking the polar bears i don’t mean to

I promise oh he’s not happy i gotta get you there okay this way is actually looking to be a dead end finally that’s good oh another snowball i think that was the same damage to the one we just had so we’ll be able to get rid of one of them i’ll probably

Have to look at which ones upgrades are better there we go let’s uh get some poisons Okay they slow me down quite often but there we go level 48 enchantment point earned once again i do i’m not really an exact need for it but still could have we got some gold ore over here too nice it’d be cool if you could salvage stuff like classic minecraft style

But you can’t i mean this game always gives me the mood to play some more minecraft and i want to soon for sure okay let’s get over here and do what we can i think i used the uh the poison a little too early it didn’t seem like it got anybody

But our fire arrows have a lot of shots in them because i think it’s a higher level one okay that’s just about everything on this side just gotta check out this little hallway to the right yeah we’re getting our first level up in this dlc adventure that’s always good

But so far i definitely think i’m going to like this one a little bit more than i like the um oh there we go catch that i’ve annoyed this one a little bit more than i like the um jungle awakens and i love the jungle awakens it’s just

I think when it comes to like environments to explore i like the ice ones a little bit more they fascinate me and we’re seeing some slimes around too which we don’t see too often there we go we’re doing pretty good with the chests we have seven out of 17.

I never expect to find all of the chests because some of them just are weird like that where i’ll i’ll search every inch or at least it feels like it and i still won’t find them all and they’re not necessary for 100 completion it’s sort of random every time anyways

So yeah we’re actually good to go the way we’re supposed to go now and i have tnt to help me out this might be one of the bigger caves we’ve explored just the way it stretches out like this usually the caves aren’t as long as sort of the labyrinth type areas they’ll sometimes

Have okay we’ll not have to use my hammer until i find the perfect time to throw this tnt that shouldn’t be do that i’m not the creeper i don’t want to deal with that gotcha gotcha the spiders can be tough but they don’t have too much health so it’s a balance

Okay here we go should be a good spot for it and it was enemies fly everywhere yeah these like these frozen zombies ow are a bit of a problem but since i have this snow potion it seems to be fine so once again this is the dead end

There we go oh no oh no well that’s andy’s not getting anybody oh we got another chest down here still looking for more gear oh gosh the slimes get him out of here oh this is actually leading into a room of some sort it’d be cool if you could find

Um i mean i guess you can technically find mob spawners in here like you can in normal minecraft it’s a little different though either way we do find more scale mail and there’s a there’s a thing here i don’t know what this is gonna leave because once again

This is not the way we’re supposed to be going for the level you can see the arrow on the top left or maybe it is now i’m saying that it is here okay never mind i’m silly right so if i go back up this way no tell me to go that way okay

So we’ll definitely check out whatever this is there’s a lot going on in this room gotcha and gotcha see what’s going on over this one wow what is going on i guess it must just be like a lot of water or something okay i gotta pay attention what’s going

On here i think that was a new enemy type that wizard that just stunned me i don’t know how to get up there there’s a lot of weird stuff going on right now i’m just trying to figure it all out maybe that’s more of an exit whoa

That’s so cool so helix suspends like an ice chunk online we’ve run out of one problem and into another one but he suspends an ice chunk in the air and then tries to slam it on me dangerous but super cool there we go there’s a lot of cool stuff now starting

To pop up got some emeralds out of that one yeah i’m definitely trying to earn up as many emeralds as i can now if there are going to be more merchants there’s probably more reason to spend emeralds i don’t have a ton right now 3206 isn’t bad for sure we’ve definitely had more

There we go there we go roll yeah it’s these blue guys that make that happen so that’s interesting new mob type there and there we go is that going to get you anything in terms of rewards no all right this whole area is bizarre

In terms of like how it shows up on the map can we stop that the ice still slims even if we take him out so we’re gonna be quick with that and i got the wrong person yep dodging that one for sure oh boy there’s two chests over here fascinating

Just trying to like decipher this whole area has been an interesting situation i mean it says that there are chests oh oh is this gonna whoa it’s gonna drain all the water that’s so fascinating because our goal right now is to rejoin the river apparently whatever that’s supposed to mean

So i guess we can get up there now this is so cool though not too much else happening on this part but i can open up these two uh-oh uh oh oh there’s a lot of them be showing up isn’t there you bet there is okay definitely get rid

Of the ice guys before they make their eyes We got our tnt i don’t know if this can explode in time for us but oh got some good moves going on i just sort of rolled over to him hit him with my hammer ah i rolled into it that was the opposite effect that i wanted

Keep it going wow oh potion please but that’s sort of a deadly combo the guys who make the totems in combo with the ice slamming guys that could be a big problem gotta be careful oh yeah i wonder what’s gonna be at the end of this sort of side

Okay got rid of you before you exploded that’s good nothing over there another thing all right where are we now it just keeps going it’s just a super long tangent i love it but it’s just weird and i guess maybe that’s an exit because i can’t get up there

Okay i’m trying to figure it all out oh speaking of mob spawners here we are let’s definitely destroy those oh i just show them real quick not even a problem we got it what do we do here then oh is that a panel that was and the door opens

Very cool oh we got some of the bounce panels that was misleading the screen’s a lot more zoomed out around here too let’s go this way get rid of that guy right away hey wait a minute that’s not good um that’s so weird so weird is that gonna drain the water again

It is indeed but i miss out on the chest i need to get back up there somehow are there enemies gonna pop up no all right so we’ll go into this sunken ship or i guess it’s now a not sunken ship in just a moment because i’m guessing

That this if i had to guess aha i knew it okay i was gonna wrap around there’s still so much explore in this area it’s so cool so this is a really nicely diverse level so far i’m really happy with that so what i gotta do here is i gotta hop

Down like that climb up the stairs get ourselves a another scale mail that’s our third one today and then we can bounce around a little bit there we go i don’t think there’s too much more to reach up there but let’s see what’s going on inside of the ship we found the secret

Level lost settlement so just like um in the main game and in the jungle awakens dlc we’ll probably not be tackling those bonus levels until we uh complete the main portion of everything with that being said there’s still even a main portion of this side area to figure out so i definitely

Want to look around a little bit and see what we can do what we can find this area it’s it’s an interesting map but it’s easy to get lost in because it’s just there’s not too much specific detail so i don’t know how much of this we can

Actually explore or not i do see these potions down here though gotcha and i think that might be more or less the most of it but we’ll keep looking let’s get back down this way these are potion now oh no my other potions flew out there because we were down that way

Yeah i think that might be off i don’t see much of another way to get around so we’ll go back through here now we gotta go all the way back up that way but man yeah really long level for this first one i like that because usually sometimes they’re

They’re a little on the short side maybe only like 15 20 minutes but this one’s like a full half an hour level so far and i can guess it probably has like the same three levels in the couple of secret levels just like jungle awakens did can’t wait to see if

There’s like a boss fight by the end of it too so this water is not too deep so i can walk and you never really know it doesn’t look any different than the water that you can’t swim in or walking and even here there’s more divulging paths

To explore which i like a lot but it’s also a lot of work oh i’m just gonna put a tnt right down that way gotcha oh still plenty more i might want to change out the poison um artifact soon oh my gosh who what are these guys illusioner oh this guy’s new he’s

Definitely new oh boy here we go ow oh he’s still around so which one is the real one i think it’s this one no it’s this one get back here oh this is weird here’s my question real quick it’s tough to take him out but definitely the spread shot helps

Just trying to get rid of as many as possible there you are you got him about halfway down now my artifacts are about to pop back up which will certainly help as well there we go do you get back here oh boy ah the problem is he doesn’t stick

Around for very long even if you do end up getting to him he’s really tough there we go come on oh i got a couple good more more good shots on him this is the real one maybe yes it is we get ourselves another snowball that was interesting i like that the

Illusion or fight anything over here not looking like it we we wouldn’t full circle there we’ll get our shadow brew so we can sneak up on the next opponent i mean within the next few seconds at the least but there’s so much to this level now we’re in this like frozen

Abandoned mine shaft oh you can see a mine cart rolling down there maybe it’s not quite abandoned yet whoa what’s going on with that there’s a chest suspended i guess we can de-suspend it maybe hey hey give it back what my chest all right so i guess i gotta fight a

Couple enemies first huh all right anything for a prize was that that that was very easy yeah maybe you oh there it goes awesome so we get a short bow there which we’ve experienced short bows before but uh we get another one that one’s pretty powerful too it seems 44 just

Like the uh snowball get rid of that guy before he makes his ice cloud and we’re just about done with this area just want to see if there’s anything down this way not looking like it wait wait wait wait there we go so it’s weird that like that didn’t even

Count as a secret a lot of the stuff we found here has not counted as a secret um but we do have 14 out of the 18 chests found so that’s a pretty good number oh my otherwise follow the river i don’t mind if i do sounds like a pretty good thing to

Follow so this part’s sort of a dead end though gotta go on the other side of the river gotcha oh we got a supply chest here get some extra arrows over 200 now very useful so we’re in pretty good shape throughout this level so far so hopefully we won’t have to adjust the

Difficulty anymore after this we can just sort of keep with the flow event and that’ll be great for if we have to revisit levels to find new artifacts because like i said i think there’s new gear new artifacts especially with the daily challenges being added that sounds really cool like

They they did a great job with that because it’s gonna add so much content to the game but what’s in here it just keeps going secret after secret we’re in like some kind of fortress village now nice this is just not a part of the main

Level at all like you could have just skipped this which is crazy to me gotcha oh i do see that spawning our way down that way so i want to get rid of that all these zombies spawning in wow that’s exactly what i’m trying to do with everything oh villagers saved

Oh so you know what i think that’s one of the one of the villagers back at the town i gotta figure out how that works we’re gonna be looking at that at the end of today’s episode i do see a key there this is just like a whole thing oh i love it

If this whole dlc is just one super long level i mean it’s certainly possible i suppose i’d sort of hope not but certainly possible okay is there a chest up here indeed there is oh and another villager to save and another chest okay pretty cool was there another

I hear the twinkling of one okay so let’s see what’s down the main path we need to find a button somewhere so that we can open up the key what was that noise oh okay maybe we don’t thank you i don’t know what i did to make that

Door go down but it’s down now i like the little ice key though and we can just use that to open this door gotcha definitely get rid of the creepers before they explode oh oh look at that hidden little button under the pot it’s like hiding a key under the doormat

I like it oh definitely get rid of these guys not a problem so this is like the fortress the castle town the castle of the town and there’s another way inside something it just it never ends it’s wild boom and there’s another one what’s up here though

A fight okay then let’s get to fighting there we go oh here’s the chest okay oh i’m actually getting really beat up here i gotta be careful let’s get rid of the range guys as much as i can because i can’t just keep my distance from everybody else dmc do you think

Nah dodge dodge dodge oh my goodness oh we got the flame guys too they can be rough they can be really rough gotta move fast gotta move fast there we go cause we have three lives but you know i i like to keep it that way you know

Why did the uh oh maybe because they don’t touch the ground but i used a poison there and it didn’t really do anything oh get that salmon even though i actually used a potion so maybe it would have been worth it to hold on there are still more enemies

Well the good news is that we’re halfway through level 48 because of all this action we just hit level 48 earlier so making is a good progress with the experience what do we have up here a golden chest with a pickaxe haven’t seen a pickaxe in a while that’s cool

What about in this one just some emeralds but the number of chests in the level just keeps going up before it was like 14 that’s 21. uh but now we can work our way down ow this way oh didn’t even see it coming wow oh there’s another golden chest in here

Another pickaxe deja vu and then i think over this way we get that and lots of enemies here really try my best to get rid of them because i i don’t want to get taken out there we go and this is just a normal chest very nice interior design around you

Though very cozy even though it’s snowing indoors for some reason okay i don’t see too much else going on here i don’t think i can open this door in the front so i’ve explored what we can out of the uh out of this area that’s good we can go

All the way back again but wow what an opening level to the creeping woods it just very impressive how much content they jam packed into this first level already yep back out this way they’re not happy to see me happy or not here i come there we go

Oh that guy has diamond armor definitely want to get rid of him as soon as possible the poison didn’t land on them that’s why i’m thinking i should probably change things up with that one it only seems to be helpful some of the time which is great but i’d rather have

Something that’s helpful all the time oh swiftness potion too oh no oh i got him just barely so what it’s down this little strip nothing well that was odd definitely grab that strength potion and beat up who can oh boy oh boy hmm okay so lots of stuff going on around here

Let’s try to take it in i feel like if i didn’t have the map this would definitely be the type of area that’d be easy to get lost in just because it’s just so much white snow which i love that look just in general but definitely could be hard to navigate through

Just based off of like center direction oh let’s get rid of you then and you too don’t worry you can all get some arrows i have plenty to share but i’m really looking forward to seeing if we can’t craft new strategies with any kind of new weapons and hopefully the merchants that are

Available help us get new weapons and just try new strategies and stuff but yeah i really hope that these kind of updates continue because the the actual you know creeping winter levels are paid dlc but the merchant update and some of the other stuff the daily levels

That’s all free content if you already have the game you already have those so definitely even if you don’t plan on getting the creepy winter but you still have the game definitely pick it up again and see the new content and see what you might be able to enjoy because

I think you might find something you like i mean that is if you enjoyed the main game if not that i don’t know if it’s going to change your mind we’ll certainly probably make a couple of episodes just focus on that but that’s something i really hope they keep up because

This game is a lot of fun to start with but a lot of people complained and like reasonably so that it just didn’t have enough content to stay interesting but now with the dlc it definitely has jumped up a bit so hopefully they’ll keep adding both

New paid and free stuff oh my gosh hold on um i was hoping to maybe find a tnt somewhere because that’s a lot of enemies i think we’ll be fine but it definitely is a bit risky if i had a tnt right now though oh boy

You guys would be in so much trouble i sell my potion too so there we go oh i want that swiftness potion but it’s a little too late so luckily yeah if i get them coming through whoa what was that phantom armor that’s new i’m pretty sure

If i keep them coming through this little opening now they sort of get like bottlenecked ow that one sort of hurts that i stopped the weight a little bit for my next potion so i don’t be careful there’s so many enemies they just don’t stop oh there we go that was good

Oh there’s the tnt a little too late for it but yeah ah no no no no wait wait wait no ah i lost the life no i didn’t actually i’m good i’m good that was close so maybe i didn’t lose a life before anyways oh we got that swiftness potion

We could go back in there and sneak up on them or maybe i got the most of them there’s got to be more still yeah there’s a couple over here i got a strength potion now two of them i don’t think they stack thefts i don’t know if those were that

So many enemies though it’s just crazy i only got one enemy there trying to do a bit better of a job of comboing my primary weapon with my ranged attacks but i guess i was supposed to go this way the whole time so maybe i should go back and

Continue on that one part of the bridge right across there excellent i’m not seeing too much more over here but that’s why it’s worth checking whoa why is it so zoomed out i guess just to get a good view of everything because there’s no way i can get down

That way without getting hurt interesting anyways back over here again whoop that’s always fun to do there was like a little bit of like the outskirts over here i started to explore i don’t think it’s gonna be too much oh my i’m getting stuck on everything aren’t i

Hopefully we need to climb it a little bit but yeah just it really reminds me of how many cool different minecraft environments there are and how many more will hopefully get to see either be like you know different um environments such as like the mesa

Because i know we had a little bit of that in the main game but like a more mesa focused dlc or even like a desert or something like that would be cool but even then we could have the end or the nether and they would be really cool ideas

So we have ourselves another cave to explore i really sort of think the entire dlc is just one big level was a good i sure hope not but this is just like uncharacteristically long for a level in this game but hey maybe they’re setting a new standard for their content

I appreciate it for sure so what does this lead to its own whole section of stuff okay hold on i’ll be back soon i’ll explore this part first because it just leads over there so i think that’s supposed to sort of be like a shortcut back to the beginning

Once you’re done with the cave so i can worry about just doing it this way there we go you really gotta roll right up to him for that and even then the creepers can still get you and all the zombies throwing snowballs at us can make a bit of a mess

Primary weapons i feel like our hammer is starting to fall off a little bit as we get farther into this i’ve been mostly worrying about my arrows for good reason they’re very strong and comboed up with the fire arrows they’re even better and there we go oh i see so maybe that’s

Oh my gosh i still see more of the map coming up maybe there’s a boss fight coming out because i look like a pretty wide open area whoa whoa watch it awesome and what about over here the only complaint about i have about a level this long

Is that it can be a bit of a pain for replaying new objective lower the drawbridge i think that we’re coming up on the end of that because that’s sort of the problem is like you know you want to replay the levels a lot in this game

I thought that’s easier to do if they’re shorter or at least maybe a little bit more poignant anyways yeah let’s lower that part of the drawbridge they’re not going to like that very much so gotta be moving don’t do that you get stunned for so long with that too

Oh strength potion don’t mind if i do oh my gosh oh it’s the illusioner again oh this one has a lot more health too i find the right one oh that was it definitely this guy has like a longer health bar oh boy i was trying to get rid of who i can

There we go it feels so satisfying when you do find the right one now It’s this guy there we go did he just make it so many more oh it’s you yeah we got it more than halfway down and we almost have our health potion again so i can use my flame arrows too clears them out a lot faster there we go much better and that oh

That’s actually a pretty quick way to deal with them too i’m gonna fill up my health here wow maybe i waited a little too soon or did too soon so sort of there’s like this combo you can do between attacking with the hammer there we go get rid of a good chunk of

Him there come on he’s almost down this has to be him got him and now we get the tnt would have been helpful before but we get ourselves another phantom armor i need to check that out like i wanted to go through the everything a little bit more later

This armor crafted from the bones of phantoms is a terrifying sight on the battlefield we’ll definitely have to do some comparing and contrasting but right now my main focus is just completing the level all right then so now the drawbridge should be crossable and indeed it is apparently we found all

23 of the 23 chests and there we go victory seems to be spreading from this lonely fortress which can only mean the shard is within oh so there we go a level that took us almost an hour to get through lots of fun but certainly a challenge um

The frosted fjord is that what it was before i thought that’s not what the name was i don’t i don’t remember either way we did pretty good 292 000 damage done 8 000 damage taken and 95 of the mobs defeated and what do we get in our final chest here

It’s gonna be a fishing rod it’s nothing too exciting let’s go back to camp so we’re not quite done in today’s episode like i said i wanted to check out some of the other stuff but yeah as you can see that was the frosted fjord completed and i don’t know they’ve added some

Elements right you can see next to the level icon there’s a chest now what does that chest mean does that mean there’s more chests to find that i didn’t find does that mean maybe you know there’s still like this one weapon here this one reward maybe i don’t know because if i look

Back over here like this one doesn’t have it right and i found everything here oh so if i had to guess yeah that’s what it means it means that there’s still new loot to get from these levels and i think almost every level is going to have that now because they added new

Ones either way let’s take a look around the main square now because things are different we got the village merchant here whoa look at this this is so cool it’s a village merchant this merchant sells common and rare items uh at a fair price so he’ll sell things like the mystery armor

Some blacksmiths see the design influence of iron golems in this property shifting armor we also have um the daggers which are 210 daggers are the weapons of cravens or so folks so like these aren’t too bad um and then there’s other slots to unlock rescue captured villagers during missions so we did

Rescue two of them but i guess maybe they weren’t these kind of villagers the right kind of villagers so this is where it’s like it’ll be all worth it to grind a lot and check out different things i can also reserve it can i do that for everything reserved

Item reserving an item means that it will remain available until you buy it or unreserve it and restock the merchant’s inventory that’s fascinating you can only reserve one thing at that time i want to reserve this because i’ve never had that before and it’s actually pretty cheap

You know i might as well just get it now that um hold to confirm there we go mystery armor faster roll and chance to negate hits pretty cool over here we have the blacksmith all now so blacksmith upgrades items while you complete missions um upgrading items instantly returns any

Invested enchantment points upgrades an item takes three missions to complete and item power is rerolled based on your recommended difficulty that’s so fascinating so i see like you know this right here whoa when did i get this jail or scythe must just pick that up and not even

Notice i gotta check that out so for right now i think i’m gonna go ahead and put this in there the grave bane we know this is a good weapon we already have it upgraded but if i put this in i have to pay 155 which really isn’t that much

That’s going to take three missions to upgrade but that is something i’ve been so hoping for so i’m glad they added it so we got a lot of cool stuff to check out and we will do all that pretty soon maybe i’ll do at the beginning next episode because this

Episode is getting a little bit long give dropping unavailable the gift drafter lets you send items to other players when playing multiplayer we’re not playing multiplayer playing single player so i can’t really do that one too much um very cool though it’d be cool if in

The future they just make it so that you can just put in somebody’s like name and you can send it to them anyways what is this this is the luxury merchant uh this merchant sells high-end items at a not so affordable price so as you can see 949 for the fire brand

Oh this is cool this is where you can get legendary ones so yeah we did get oh interesting so they all get upgraded in different ways hold on let me go back then real quick because i didn’t really see that too much um defeat the our children on adventure

Difficulty oh i see so that’s so fascinating so if i go and do that i’ll get another black smith slot over here for the lucky luxury merchant i have to defeat powerful mobs i’ve defeated two of them apparently hey give up give me all the powerful moms you got i’ll take them down

Um this is so interesting though i might want to grab this soon you know what yeah sure there we go um crafting the blackest depths of the fiery forge and enchanted with fiery powers it burns mobs and has a spin attack move and then over this way with the mystery

Merch a little puppy random artifact oh hold on mystery merchant this merchant sells random items from for one out of several item categories so we have like little boxes so we got the random modified gives you a random artifact same thing with these this one as well but we have other slots

Defeat enchanted mobs which are more common on higher difficulties we’ve seen a couple hopefully we see more soon so we 5 25 250 2 500 it’s crazy stuff so there’s so much more of a reason to like grind things out now this is so cool i’m loving this they did a great job

With it with it all anything new inside of here or anything it doesn’t look like it and i still don’t think we have anything in regards to like this weird nether portal over this way right yep that’s still uncompleted so there’s still new mysteries to be unraveled i guess in

Future updates but wow this is probably my favorite update yet not only because of the creeping winter dlc but all this merchant stuff makes it even more worth it so i’m really happy about that we’ll buy this for the sake of it just to sort of get this experience we
