For that for for hello hello hello welcome in welcome in we’re going to be dealing with a little bit of echo for a second because I changed a ton of settings um I at least I think I’m dealing with the echo I don’t know if the like the The VOD and twitch is gonna be dealing with it but I’m probably going to jump right into the game here because I broke everything my my starting soon card is scuffed now and yeah I wanted to make sure that we could hear everything so I’ve got my stream open in another Window and that’s why we’re hearing the Echo and I didn’t hear any of those game sounds come through which is concerning uh yep I got no game sounds I’ve ruined something so we’re doing a little bit of trouble a little bit of troubleshooting I’m G to mute my uh my Twitch thing for a second here and we’re going to stare at my face while I do some troubleshooting apologies but uh in the meantime you can take a look here over at the days played look at that we are almost at 1480 as we can see behind Me the Sun is going down and boy oh boy are we got we’ve played so long in this freaking I think I was looking at my stats the other day I think I’ve killed like 18 19 full days in this game in this in this world Alone it’s been a lot it’s been a lot um I’m gonna go back over to OBS here and see if I can fix this before I see the problem with this is that I’m not entirely sure what I messed up the first time so if I in a different Scene which is what y’all are seeing right now because it’s blank um I am not entirely sure what’s happening okay if I do this now and I go back over to this uh I got to make sure my my thing is unmuted like that oh we got game sounds thank God okay I’m going to mute that again because that is horribly annoying I I don’t hate the sound of my own voice oh my goodness I’m just tabbing between everything and it is just crazy chaos I don’t hate the sound of my own voice but like when it’s echoey like that that is Just annoying uh I don’t know how I feel about that like loudness right there is that it’s kind of loud feels a bit loud but that is something I can kind of control from the game but yeah welcome back uh a little bit of troubleshooting a little Bit of fixing I I believe I have now fixed my vods in that I will be able to play music that is not like Minecraft theme songs uh and I won’t get copyright strikes hopefully I spent a bit of time today to do it and uh I’m going to try It right now we’ll see what happens um I’m going to turn it on uh I’m tapping out for a second just to pull up the thing and I don’t even have like a playlist prepped I spent so much time like fixing OBS I didn’t even think About what I was going to actually play so uh I’m so paranoid that this is just going to like be a copyright strike and they’re going to mute the entire thing um I’m hoping that I can just kind of play whatever oh The 1975 is first Apparently how do we feel about that for audio sounds I feel like that’s a decent decent level not too loud not terribly loud but uh yeah oh no if I’m this is actually something else I haven’t done yet in streaming is like having music that I Like to listen to that’s not wordless in the background I don’t know if I’m going to be able to focus this is going to be hard uh I’m believe oh my God I’m completely out of food hold on uh danger oh my God I’m completely out of food hold On uh let’s go run and grab some food I guess right over here at the little crop Farm we got going even that is still it feels a bit loud like it’s just annoying oh we’re we’re we’re improving it’s all about self-improvement as a streamer as a community Community uh I’m just trying to Pivot and I’m trying to keep things updating as we go along I don’t know I was never one to listen to music while I was playing video games anyway I found it too distracting but I feel like during the silences of a normal stream it’s nice to Have you know some sort of buffer uh oh we are full full except on wheat what’s going up here with the what’s going on up here with the wheat are you just bad at harvesting why is this so slow I think the other one’s filling up pretty fast right this is the One with the LA it’s got the LA like tossing them oh my god dude we got to add some chests to that actually but yeah that’s significantly more successful than the other one like good God I’m also going to try and keep an eye on Discord here because I’m Waiting on a response in the title I included that we might be doing a little bit of seed scouting um I’m hoping we can get around to that depending on whether or not I get this response back uh we will see I needed a couple ch oh no not wood I Needed one two three four and two of these guys and I’m going to toss the grass on the ground for a second there I placed these chests in when we first put in the farm and I never actually added the second part of the double Chest but yeah there we go we got some food we can go throw the extras in our survival box over here I guess I didn’t leave it out I put it back in the Ender Chest but whatever we’ll put these ones away and then I’ll finish off the rest of this Stack and I’ve got a little bit more emeralds on me I’m going to try and swing back over there whenever the day rolls around and I’m going to keep the emeralds and hopefully remember that that’s what I need to do with them I am not reliable in that regard so we will See I ended up finishing up and I don’t know if I did this on stream last night I can’t remember um or if I just finished this up right after the stream but I went ahead and did the roof of this building which we were working on yesterday and it is completely buttoned Up now uh I decided to go with brown mushroom blocks packed mud and uh packed bricks pack mud pack mud bricks words are hard uh and I’m really liking the way the Frog lights look especially at night and especially whenever I do this check this out ready it takes a second to load This okay it takes a lot longer than a second to load this I updated my drivers today and everything seems to be like feeling a little bit weird at least my Graphics drivers anyway oh the frames are terrible but look at that it looks like a like a warm Glow you know what I mean like it looks so nice I will say that the windows look a little bit too high we actually might have to drop those down I I knew that there was something wrong with them I just couldn’t put my finger on why I didn’t like the way they Came out so we’re going to probably drop the bottom of the window down one and then add an extra Paine and then we Al obviously we still have to do the the trim and stuff on the upper windows but uh let’s go ahead and oh my goodness everything’s Weird got to get rid of that now and then I can get rid of those oh my God I got 20 frames also I’m getting like 48 over here and yesterday I was getting like 12 20 so something’s going on I don’t know if it was me Updating the drivers or what but some serious stuff is happening I it’s annoying um let’s grab I guess I need light gray stained glass panes right and I don’t remember where I put those that might be a problem cuz they’re a little bit hard to spot in these Guis okay well I have black there Or or we we have to make some new ones I see light gray Dy here which is encouraging but I don’t know also I just saw some iron bars can I combine these no I guess not I don’t know where I saw them at oh Yes I fixed all my data packs and my resource packs so they’re all updated to the 1.2.2 right now um with my luck though they’re going to release 1 20.3 like in a day and it’s going to suck uh cuz I’ll have to redo everything again oh there was The iron bars there’s the light gray stain glass panes perfect and I will bring a few of these trap doors I don’t believe I will need them uh and then I’ve got scaffolding right here so let’s hop back up there we’re going to lower the uh oh I also Need the the Birch trap doors I can’t I can’t forget those those are pretty actually I just take them all they’re pretty important it’s like the whole shutter thing I got going on here and not like the movie okay we’re going to go down one or Two okay I guess that was it all right so let’s break out this guy oh no oh my inventory is full that’s why do I have any of the Frog lights or just did I forget to grab those too I did I know I just had some that should be more than enough Okay we’ll do one of those one of these one of these I believe yeah they’re face down and then I should just be able to do one of those and the fence gates seriously you want to try me you think you’re the one he doesn’t know yep that’s what I Thought okay so that’s that one done then I can do this one get rid of these guys uh I’m just going to break that out place that and then I can place all of this at once if I can reach it okay so now I’m going to Grab wherever that fence gate went yep those and then couple dark oak accents on top of these that looks much better I can’t believe it took me so long to figure out that I didn’t like the way the window was situated like hilarious hilarious to me oh I’m not going to be able To yep I can do that all right and that should fix that window I can’t tell you how long I stared at that thinking what the heck is wrong with this thing very annoying that looks much better it fills up the space quite a bit better and now I’m think we can probably do some light and I mean very light trim pieces on the upper ones in fact I don’t even know if I’m going to use a full stair I might have to just use slabs and trap doors but let’s get up there I will take It I need a temporary block oh I’m going to be one short aren’t I that’s annoying Place those in there in fact actually I might be able to get away without having any trim on it but I feel like that’d be a little bit weird I can’t do a stair because that Would be a full block and then this stair would connect to this stair I was GNA think about trying to do like something like that but it just looks you know connected and it looks weird I want that disconnect so I might actually end up doing the same thing where I uh I’m going to have to craft up some more fence gates but I could do the same fence gate trap door thing that would definitely still work and then I can Do that was easy enough and then on top I think I just had the stairs but I can’t do that up there either so I guess just a trapo I don’t want it to connect to the roof trim uh I’m flip you up for a second oh I why didn’t my wings engage That was weird boom nailed it and then a couple more frog lights forgot that I needed to grab one more bada bing and why are my Rockets never in my hot bar I’m aware that I’m not like pick blocking them out of my inventory it is fully a me consciously moving them out Of my hot bar thing but like still what am I doing okay three more of those one Of those three of these these and then one of these guys I definitely need the fence gate below this though it’s going to look weird if I don’t have it um I know I have some sticks which is cool do I have enough to make two nope just One give me a fence gate is it not this and and that or that’s a normal fence h of course okay more sticks then four planks and two sticks here no that’s I just crafted fences what is wrong with me okay dark oak planks and then like this there’s the Vence gate why did that take so many attempts for me to craft that what is wrong with me oh and it is daytime so we need to go oh yeah and it’s officially 1480 we only got 20 days till 1500 do you remember when I said I wanted to Finish the City by 1500 days good one also I can mend up my pick a bit it was getting a little bit down there I think I have one left beautiful nope I had 41 left whatever I think I’ll just throw the rest of these In here and all my extra carrots I will put back in the same survival box trying to stay organized I’m not very good at it all the time but I’ve been doing pretty good so far in this series I will take one full stack and then this can go back in Here uh I mean organ in the Ender Chest I wouldn’t call this organized but you know it is what it is all right still no response in Discord come on NEP answer the Discord message okay so this I think might be at least close to Done uh oh right we still got to throw these in face plant uh I think you just can’t jump off of that or I just don’t have the skill set probably the ladder okay that looks much better looks a little bit more substantial looks a little bit more connected a little bit more Symmetrical I like it I do kind of worry that the ochre frog lights are actually too syy I think they’re fine down here on the bottom and then that’s going to get covered up by a door so that doesn’t matter so much uh however up top it’s like the yellow is Really really syy so I’m thinking maybe we just grab a stack of these I think I can fly around the back here yes I can and can I get on top of these uh kind of let’s see what the purple looks like or per pearlescent pearlescent pearlescent Moon frog lights what The I hate that there’s no tool but it’s also like kind of funny that there’s no tool like they’re not slow to break like glasses you know what I mean or like not at least I don’t think they’re as slow as glass they might be the same I don’t know okay let’s See what that looks like oh that looks much better it looks much less syy and I’m sure it’ll still give the same kind of effect of like having an uh not an empty space but like a space that’s being lived in you know maybe there’s curtains there that are kind of Cutting off sight lines to the inside but you can still see the light coming out that’s what’s kind of important at least from my perspective so yeah and then actually I think after the stream I ended up starting on the little blacksmith area here um I was kind of tossing around the idea Of doing like maybe some deep slate here on the ground but I don’t think I’m going to go with that I think I like this better um deepside just looked little syy uh and then I started work on the forge cuz I do want this to kind of Look like an actual blacksmith a little bit and I always pull from Skyrim whenever I do these um I just I this whenever I hear the word blacksmith that’s what I picture that and like Aragon but like that’s kind of hard to conceptualize if you never heard of it before but Basically hand laid bricks handmade bricks over like a large fire that gets like some sort of eventually I want to kind of try and see if we can work out like some sort of miniature Bellow I wouldn’t even begin to know how to do a Bellow but like it should have like Something that looks like it holds air and then something that looks like it can Pump Air so actually maybe even that upside down but like if I go like this does that look like a Bellow no probably not but we’ll figure it out eventually uh And then if after that we just are going to need something to kind of contain the smoke um which I pulled a bunch of these items here partially to do the floor but I also want to start to work in some of these darker colors uh and then we can Move a little bit more like since it’s going to be right next to the fire uh this sort of Chimney shape I want it to kind of look like it’s been exposed to fire if that makes sense I mean I hope it does it’s a forge it’s been exposed to fire uh and Then there was something else I wanted to try these I knew I had more deep slate walls I think I can put back all these bricks for now so I think I’m going to go up a couple blocks here and then I’m going to start to do Something that’ll like like a vent Hood almost that would capture the smoke and send it further upward uh and I don’t even know if this is like a realistic thing or if this is just something I’m making up in my head but like forges at least in whenever you Play Skyrim or something they are open air right but that just feels like a little weird to me like wouldn’t your neighbors hate you for for having smoke around them all the time I don’t know H that’s going to be annoying G okay well I guess we’re going to put That out now I was really hoping that that would work but I kind of forgot T fire tick was on so dang it whatever it’s okay we got the campfires that’ll kind of convey everything we need to convey um but I think if I just kind of start To work out a little bit of a shape here and I needed to have some sort of Foundation this being the entrance this is where you’re going to walk into a blacksmith shop I don’t think we should cut the forge off on the front side here I’m thinking we should probably start to Incorporate the ground here is kind of like where it starts to go into a chimney and then I can actually even use these walls I got here and I’m just purely adling this like this is not planned at all all like I don’t know even if this is going to work Out uh and then on this side as well not there okay and then if I do nope I meant to do this I think maybe so we can kind of start to frame out like sort of a chimney shape obviously is going to connect over here On the front side in some way shape or form I’m probably actually going to bring this out one now that I’m thinking about this I do want it to look some somewhat circular actually if I do that that’s not terrible and the smoke is going through it uh this kind of gives It a little bit more of an overhang feel and then up on top of these we can get up here and we can do uh not much cuz I can’t get all the way up but I can even start to work these back toward the actual chimney And I I I I went ahead and added this like little lift thing I don’t really know if this is a thing either but basically like this would be something that you could have a chain hanging down dipping whatever you’re trying to forge Into the Fire and then this would be the counterweight System um and I haven’t found a more elegant way to actually what uh I might have just thought of one we might be able to do a light GL light gray sting glass glass pain right there Then you wouldn’t be able to see it and I just Put those away and God knows where I put them that’s a white stained glass pan that might work I mean maybe wait there’s one perfect so if I break you and then you place that where did the Anvil go so that looks a little bit like it’s Expended it actually might be better if we change it to Green because it’s sitting on top of the grass here but we might actually end up taking this floor and expanding it outward I feel like that would probably make more sense um and then on this back side here We can also kind of get this to kind of support the the rest of this as well um oh we’ve already lost some logs there was a lot of logs on fire apparently that’s annoying did we lose oh we lost the stair here even so the grindstones are meant to be Holding the chains and like basically these stairs here if I could put a rail there on top of a grindstone at an angle I would do that instead because then it looks like a little bit more connected it’s a straight line you know it just looks better I could do something with armor Statues I did fix that data pack as well uh it’s now updated to the version that we’re in but I think that this is a fine compromise really people aren’t really looking on the inside of this Forge anyway I think that’s mostly just for if You were to stand right here boom uh and then the other thing that I really wanted to do with this is I wanted to have like forever anvils basically right here and I don’t know exactly where I want them to pop up at but I want probably and I don’t have Any of my Redstone stuff out anymore do I of course not let’s just throw all all this junk in here cuz I need some clear space but basically my thought was I can do wherever I put the Anvil which is probably going to be probably going to be right Here we put an observer facing upward and then we connect that oh my goodness my dog’s yelling and by that I mean he’s like vaguely bar I better go see what he wants uh but basically I want the Observer to look Upward at an anvil and whenever it Breaks it goes down and then shoots another Anvil up with the slime block launcher but let me let me take care of my dog right quick I thought he was fine he was like sleeping he was napping but let me go uh let me go do this real Quick I won’t even switch it to the BRB screen I’ll be right back for okay I think he’s good now I am actually I don’t want to do this I’m going to do a different thing and now that I’ve switched all my audio sources it’s going to be a bit of A weird thing for me to figure out on the fly on stream like this but I think since I’ve got it I’m just going to play some random music from from epidemic sound which is a a music service that I have for creating content I got it a while back to do YouTube stuff and it’s also got music that like you can actually listen to so I think I’m just going to click one of these genres and I’m just going to hit play oh that’s real loud now the real question is are we going to be able to get this go through to the Sound here I Believe I Can Do This Okay I think it’s Working well let’s hope it’s working I’m not entirely sure but for on the Fly work I mean I can’t complain too much right I’m getting levels on my audio mixer but the way everything is routed it’s kind of difficult to monitor in my headphones so uh if you hear music let Me know if you don’t hear music or if it’s too loud or whatever also let me know now uh I don’t know if I’m going to be able to do the Redstone for this right now cuz I haven’t actually I’d have to jump do a creative world to probably actually get the machine Together to work this out I’ve never actually done a slime block launcher um at least not without like using screenshots from someone else or something so I know that I will need lots of space to do the Redstone and I don’t know for sure I mean this should be a a pretty Simple block swapper where it’s basically just like sticky p okay I can hear this pretty loudly in my headphones I’m assuming that it’s pretty loud for y’all as well I was kind of hoping for something that just didn’t have words some regrets we’ll see that feels better we’ll see if there’s words in This one but yeah so for a block swapper for this I would just basically need to go uh I had to use gravel in this floor plan didn’t I I’m just going to remove a bunch of dirt [Applause] and I think that if I had the actually I don’t think I can have The block swapper facing that direction but I could do something like that and if these are triggered in the right order they should pop over and grab the Observer and come back down triggering that that’s like how to figuring out how to trigger that that’s going to be a whole different Thing I know that these have been done before but I’ve never seen one done and I don’t even know where I would have the Anvil bank cuz you have to have like basically like a ton of anvils just like stacked up down here because you they can’t be dispensed Right otherwise it would just have a dispenser facing up and like an observer off to the side or something um oh wait here’s a thing speaking of facing off to the side instead of having to move the Observer what you could do is you could throw an observer oh just kidding I’m an Idiot I forget how Redstone components work but yeah if you have an anvil here okay so I need I think 21 will make three stacks yep I need a four fourth stack and now I should be able to make like a well I guess it was a half a stack anvils whatever close Enough can I do this with more how far off am I oh did I only grab one stack of the blocks that’s probably what it was I don’t know I got to figure it out now why do I have Blackstone bricks okay anyway but basically if I have this Here The Observer could detect that it breaks but it will also detect every time it chips and I’m pretty sure there’s a couple different Stages I don’t know if this will break at this height I think I might have to go higher I wanted to see if that how many different stages there were of the anvils Chipping okay out of all of these none of them have chipped yeah that’s weird Now is it going to break entirely if I go from that height so this is now considered a chipped Anvil and I believe there’s one more stage so let’s fly up again ouch yes there Is damaged Anvil and then after damaged Anvil should just break I believe y okay cool uh so that is three total and we can actually use the same counter system that we had over at spawn that we’re using for the copper aging uh I actually just need two of these and Then some little bit of redstone I’m not I don’t Know I usually try to work this stuff out in Creative but I just had like a thought and I was like o wonder if this will work basically I’m thinking I’m going to do like a bank of anvils and have them pop up a new one with a slime block launcher Every time it breaks do I need this feature in my base do I want this feature in my base like literally there’s zero reason for me to have this but I I like the idea and this is going to be a blacksmith so I might as well make it Blacksmithy this however I was saying that I wasn’t going to do a block swapper this will need to actually move in order to shoot an anvil up so for now let’s go ahead and remove that and that and I’m pretty sure it’ll just kind of go like the oh wait nope Back here one how did you get so good in your hardcore World um let me show you I’ve got I don’t even remember I’ve deleted some of them so we had hardcore I think this was the first attempt right here that was death uh there was the twitch LP try number three which I think is this was the actual take three and then there was a couple of them that I probably deleted cuz I didn’t last that long this was like I think my fifth attempt I literally named the world twitch LP try number who cares because I Ran out of trying to figure out which number I was on um and so like you basically just play until it sticks and once you get past like the I don’t know the 100 day mark it becomes in infinitely easier to to survive in in hardcore I don’t know I’ve always kind Of held the belief that hardcore is it’s just not as difficult as people make it out to be which kind of ruins the charm a little bit um but like even if you’re pushing yourself and you’re doing like the dangerous stuff like it’s still pretty hard to like once you get totems like You’re good like you can’t die like if you get Pro for anything and totems you’re good um most of the time like I wouldn’t even say that I’m like particularly talented I’ve granted I’ve played Minecraft for I don’t know eight years maybe more but yeah you get better over time it’s just Uh you get out what you put into it you know I appreciate the compliment though and I am taking that as a compliment um that’s a block swapper going into a thing there no not there but yeah I’ve been uh I’ve been enjoying this world a lot I actually usually play Modded um and I didn’t even do modded hardcore or anything but uh 120 came out and I really had like the bug to play vanilla again um I’ve been playing I played vanilla for probably six years got super into the modded scene the past two years uh kind Of starting with like Vault Hunters like 116 I got got really into Vault hunters and then I uh I well I started doing pretty much everything I played enigmatica I played ATM which is kind of like you know kind of a whatever pack I don’t know it’s not nearly as as put Together I wasn’t like into th craft or anything um but yeah this vanilla playthrough is like the most vanilla thing I’ve done in a while I don’t think that it’s a good idea for to take on this Redstone Project without having an idea what I’m doing First uh when did you start playing this world I started playing this one at the start of 120 so it would have been good God when did one 120 it wasn’t that long ago Minecraft indeed Jake L Mountain Minecraft indeed um I want to say it was like a Few months back I the the unfortunate bit is like I totally didn’t start saving my vods until fairly recently um for this world cuz well one saving the early vods like where I was like going through multiple worlds it just wasn’t worth it um cuz you know get Vods for like 10 days of Minecraft and then like you just die or whatever but um I I think I have my first VOD that I actually sent over to YouTube which is where they’re actually stored um is like the like first thousand day stream um So even that wasn’t that long ago uh I’ve I’ve been going through these These Days pretty quickly pretty pretty fast um I’ve been doing kind of these like massive projects and like chipping away at them like over time um and it feels like no matter how much Time I put in like there’s always more to do uh I’m trying not to pressure myself into doing too much stuff I knew that if I Tred to do like a 100 days challenge like for each video I posted on YouTube I would probably go insane because of How much time I would put into it uh this is not spawn uh spawn is over here spawn is a whole project in of itself uh this this is spawn um oh my God the lag spikes on this what is going on that was weird so this is my copper aging Factory I have yet to decorate it this is just the the Redstone um and this is a design by pixel riffs actually if you know anything about him on YouTube uh I wouldn’t say most of his content is redstone based but he did like kind of like This it was like a like a bit of a challenge to make something that looks fantastic ergonomically but isn’t necessarily the most efficient way to age copper um it uses the core mechanic of copper and where you like you have each of these modules and they’re four blocks Apart uh but it’s not technically the most efficient way I think cubic meter actually found a more efficient with to H copper now but I think that this machine just looked fantastic and I’ve done a few improvements here and there to how it functions but yeah this is Spawn these are actually the spawn chunks I went ahead and lined them out and then I flattened the entire area because I knew I was going to need a lot of space for this bad boy I chose to do it in spawn because um if I’m in the Overworld it always stays loaded meaning that if if I’m here and I’m building or whatever and then I decide to fly away over to here to where my my starter city is the the flying machines won’t get unloaded and it can’t break the machine um I could do like an array of Chunk Loading but like the reason I I even did that to the reason I even put it in spawn like I could just sit here in the center AFK right that would keep them from breaking but I didn’t want to do that does it count the number of block Changes till the copper oxidation yes it does so basically on the back side of this here we’ve got a furnace and this outputs a signal I want to say it’s a signal of like seven I can’t actually remember from testing but um every time this Observer picks up a change From the Block first the the first change is actually the module picking up the block then the next three changes are each each age stage PL process uh and then after this one fills up with those four it gets a comparator signal from the furnace and then it Actually uh signals this guy to spit the copper back out and they’ve got these flying machines down here on the end which will actually pick it up so whenever I place the copper I place it on that platform there it pushes out out to here this flying machine pushes it out to the Modules and then it stays down there until it gets signal to come back with all the Aged copper and we’ve actually got a pretty good amount and I’ve only done I want to say like two collections uh yeah I got three and a halfish Stacks not including what I’ve Got over at the Cathedral because I used a ton of copper already it’s actually really cool system and this was actually the one that I was referencing a second ago oh wait I’m totally out of rockets um I was talking about the the like the age of not age it’s not age whenever It’s an anvil it’s like the damage how much damage an Amil has taken if I get up to the top of this in this uh Century I was just kind of like doing this thing where it’s like if I drop it it gets well it didn’t that time but Generally it gets like a damaged look which is detectable by an observer why is this not happening there you go so that’s the first stage of damage it’s considered a chipped Anvil and then if I did it again it would become a damaged Anvil so I could actually use the same counter System that I’m using here for the copper oxidization over at this uh Anvil replacement uh thing that I’m talking about over here at my my city over there but also I’ve got this uh super ugly iron Farm which I still have to fix it’s uh entirely too far apart I didn’t Follow a tutorial for this I just decided you know what that’s a good length and the villages definitely won’t overlap or ruin each other so I did that but I’m pretty sure I can have each of these four modules like right next to this drop shoot and it would still work Totally fine so that’s something else we got to figure out cuz this is just super ugly I want this entire area to look like a city eventually so um but and then uh this is the bone meal farm this is the the other spawn one uh basically if I turn this guy on Um oh wait do this break it always breaks I accidentally log out without turning off the farm uh and it actually breaks this uh this sand bit here so if I put that back there and then I trigger this and now this should start running yeah basically it’s a mono Stable circuit but it breaks the sand if I log out while it’s still running but yeah if I turn this guy on while I’m here at spawn I can actually fly completely away and it will run anytime I’m in the Overworld it’s pretty cool uh and I actually have that you can Kind of see the tree there that’s actually uh an aelia tree farm that will run whenever I’m not nearby it so basically I have the bone meal feed into this and then the aelia trees grow on their own no player needed it’ll actually just grow the saplings every Once in a while there’s ‘s like a chance of it growing um except it looks like I’ve totally broken the farm that’s not supposed to be Cobblestone that is supposed to be Moss yep Farm’s broke I must have switched dimensions a bunch but yeah bone meal Farm feeds the Tree farm feeds this furnace array over here which turns all of the this into charcoal and then I can use that over here in this super smelter but this super smelter is is scuffed it does not function it’s like it doesn’t like distribute evenly it’s I should do like Two straight lines if I really want that and also this first furnace finishes smelting before the mine cart can get back around to filling it again so that’s kind of annoying I got to I probably should just blow it up and redo it entirely but but yeah that that Spawn just a mild amount of work there uh and then this is the cathedral and I actually started this project because I was running out of redstone for that project and I was like I need villagers for Redstone but I need a place to put my villagers and I was Like where do clerics live probably in a church so I made a church it’s obviously not done yet but uh yeah I put up a lot of this stuff and then I filled it with clerics uh and the whole rest of this is just going to be Empty it’s not going to be empty that’s a lie that’s a lie we we’ll do a lot of stuff with the space but I also got this guy here oh that’s supposed to be closed whoops I always forget to close this thing and this is my entrance down to The catacombs which is also a project I have not started obviously I just did the tunnel down here but yeah there’s like a little miniature World Tour we’ve got a bunch of stuff other places in the world like I’ve got a bunch of farms all over the Place the biome dependent Farms are you know kind of hard to have around your base um but yeah I mean like this is for the most part what I’ve been doing for the building aspects of it of the world this is my Cobble gen but basically I want this entire place to be Filled up by small buildings and small houses and stuff um and I want this entire thing to look like basically a metropolis surrounding this massive Cathedral and that is the Spiel that’s the world that’s the gimmick uh also I try not to sleep or AFK because I don’t Like you know bloating the the number of days in a world like if I didn’t care about the the world number I would just AFK all the time and then it wouldn’t matter but it’s also hardcore so I feel like I don’t know it it makes it more entertaining Having to kind of like push myself to find a way to make Farms work if I don’t AFK I kind of like that aspect of it but yeah now we’re back here we’re back to the uh the forge um and again I think I’m going to Actually end up working on this you know like a my creative testing world I don’t think I want to do this on stream I mean actually we can do it on stream I just like I don’t want to do it in survival if you catch my Drift uh because i’ like I said a minute ago I’ve never done a slim block launcher before and I don’t know any of the timings or any of that nonsense like I I don’t know so that’ll be something we figure out at a later date for now We’re building houses so let’s build a house I think for this block pallet on this one I’m obviously I’m going to use dark oak to do a lot of the trim work and stuff and in fact this did I miscount that was that originally where the pillar Sat I was trying to use this for the pillars of the house and then I was going to do like a little bit of like a like a lean to roof line off the side of this with maybe something that’ll look like thatch I’m not entirely sure Um I kind of wanted this blacksmith thing to look like the one you find in Skyrim in that first city um basically like there’s like this small courtyard area it’s covered it’s got a thatch roof which kind of feels like a little bit dangerous to me cuz it’s you know super Hot and fire and stuff um sorry I had to take a drink um but yeah I wanted like a smith thing here and then the the like living quarters here and then we would end up doing probably something with slabs just to go from that end to that that end and Like a super super like mild slope here uh and then the overhang of the roof line for this building will actually just kind of go right into that instead of having like a separate roof line Apologies allergies are getting to me feel like I’m hacking up along had to mute okay but back to it I think I’m I’m getting a little bit too modern with some of the buildings that I’m doing in fact I’m still not entirely convinced that that one’s going to stay that Way this one feels like it could be medieval uh but even still it looks pretty modern um so I want to get kind of back to the basics with this one I’m using cobblestone as like the uh Foundation blocks uh I’m going to mix it with some like Mossy Cobble and stuff It’s not going to be like all one block but oops Yeah I want to have a kind of a rough look to the outside of this and then we might even go like old school Minecraft and do like a plank wall of some type there’s uh it’s it’s it’s a bit of a Challenge to get a goodlooking like old school Minecraft build in like the modern day and I kind of want to see if I can pull that off also do we push this level down one actually I don’t know if I can cuz I need room for the Redstone for this guy Obviously I can go down a lot with the Redstone but down might not be the answer I might actually have to go outward into into the road thank you so much for the follow Jake lampon thank you Brian for the assist I am apparently bad at Reading uh so yeah I think I decided against going down with the floor cuz I need room for the Redstone uh then we just kind of got to figure out where we Farm is Actually Moss it’s a moss farm that I just turn into bone meal so I’ve got like pretty much infinite bone meal uh or infinite Moss is what I meant to say obviously I’ve got infinite bone meal that’s what the farm is for uh maybe a little bit of stone brick I kind of want to work in some of these newer blocks um just cuz they look so damn good like it’s really hard for it to not you’ve got WS for them yeah right they really hard to not build with deep slate nowadays I feel like it’s I think I even Said this in the last stream but it’s like a bit of a crutch it’s like your build can look bad but if it contains deep play it’s like man it’s still looks pretty good I don’t know if this is going to mesh it’s not bad um but I think if I Get some of these into the foundation here we’ll see how this actually meshes I’m going to go like a little bit of that a little bit of this and then we’ll just break out a little bits here and there oh maybe if I can get back out there’s the other Blocks so I’m thinking Moss probably toward the ground cuz moss grows from the ground up right and then place a bunch of extra random blocks on accident for sure it’s what completes the build you know uh and then I need to get rid of these wool blocks they are very red and very Loud uh yeah and I might be able to work in like a little bit of crack Stone Blicks Bri bricks wordss are hard except I don’t have a furnace over here so let’s go toss or let’s just make a couple furnaces I would go put it in the super Smelter but it feels like a a bit Blasphemous to just use one stack of stuff uh in the entire super smelter I guess we could go make a few cracks of uh I cannot speak today a few stacks of cracked stone bricks is what I was going to Say uh yeah we’ll do that and we’ll go throw all of these in there oh yeah and there’s the terribly ugly cactus farm that I hardly ever use I like I like built that whenever I built my starter base and like I was like yeah I’ll cover this up and I’ll Make it decorated and it’ll look great and then I like started on a million other things but hey at least now we get to see this guy in action how’s my fuel situation doing oh yeah we good oh wait this one has coal in it still Huh I mean we can top it up it’s fine we got uh yeah I’d say we got we got plenty we got plenty Jesus it’s a lot of coal it is pretty pretty fun to watch though a normal super smelter that just goes back and forth one time is like It’s a little bit less satisfying this one’s fun CU it gets like the minecart does glitch on the corners here and that makes me super paranoid that it might be dropping off blocks inside the fuel Hoppers like H it must be just a visual glitch I guess but it it still stresses Me out oh the other beautiful part about having this spawn is that I can fly away and as long as I’m in the Overworld it’s still cooking my stuff it’s pretty badass okay how we doing did we get all of it distributed all except for three and That’s the other part about this this setup that’s a little bit weird is like I don’t know of a way that will just send this guy automatically uh if I guess if I uh I couldn’t measure this chest with a comparator right and if it’s an output if it’s outputting a Signal strength of zero I believe I could just send it into a redstone torch and invert that signal back around that’s viable I’m sure somebody has a tutorial on it I’ve just never thought about doing this yeah I think that would work I mean I’m not doing it right now But it would work do we think they’re smelted oh hell yeah all except for this one also I’m missing one there was yeah this is a stack of 60 there’s three here we are missing a block now I’m paranoid it did go into one of these fuel Hoppers oh this is par this is this is paranoia what see it does do it sometimes why is there raw gold ore here yeah we got to redo this entire smelter it was it was a good attempt at a first pass but like what balt it’s actually the ones here on the End that are the problem I didn’t realize how bad it was uh uh uh looks like the rest of these are okay yo that wasn’t even close I mean I’m just going to drop these on the ground it’s fine I don’t I’m rich like whatever again okay yeah we’re Definitely going to have to get rid of this smelter it’s bad this situation is dire okay last last pass here another raw gold or and bamboo oh wait no that’s a fuel source never mind I don’t remember Distributing this whatever that’s fine I guess I can pick up the last of This gold ore and like throw it in there on the next pass it’ll get distributed uh yeah but now we got the stack the Stacked I almost did it again cracked stone bricks I wish there was like a like a Mossy variant of this but honestly that would probably be Too much texture for one block it would look messy I don’t know I kind of like the the Cobblestone texture on the bottom of this let’s just test it with like a couple oh actually that does look a lot better hold on that looks great actually and then I need more strip dark Oak I think from the foundation up I’m going to probably Do yeah I’m going to go from the top of this block up with the actual dark oak and then that’ll still be the overhang and I think I’m out yes I am okay um and I don’t know how I feel about this ring of deep slate do we keep It do we leave do we get rid of it feel like it makes the the foundation Just a Little Bit Too Tall Uh why this building is pretty Square we might actually have to add something else onto it or we’re going to have to put something like right here cuz the white wool marks out where the roads are going to go uh but this is a little bit of an Empty space we could do like a little like a maybe a little flower guarden type of thing that’d be kind of cute I actually like that idea but uh yeah I think the Deep Slate’s got to go it’s such a good looking block though maybe we will bring deep SL back In uh for the roof like we did with this one yeah I think that would probably work man I’m using dark oak a lot I didn’t realize until just now but I’ve got dark oak for trim on that one dark oak for trim on this one and then Obviously this one’s got the posts that are dark oak I suppose that could just kind of be the theme of the city this building just completely stands out though don’t look at it I don’t know it looks great I just it’s just not the same I built this one and this one took Me I I you not like I think actually in total probably like seven hours cuz I I built it once and like it was a completely different type of build and then I completely deleted it I just freaking blew it up and and now I built this one and it Looks well honestly it looks great but it takes so long to figure out an angled build like this at least it did for me I don’t know maybe other people who’ve got more skill at building like I don’t think I’m a bad Builder by any stretch but damn dude That damn kicked my ass um so then for the upper part of this build I like I mentioned before we could do planks or we could do could bring bring some more Sandstone back in or I I don’t want to use too much more gray cuz like we’ve already got the Gray aspects in the foundation of this and obviously the ground up here um I always want to my first gut instinct whenever I want to do anything is to add terra cotta to it but like it just looks so modern like even if the rest of the Build looks very medieval like it just looks so it’s not like a flat color but it’s so terracotta if that makes sense it’s just so much of itself we could use this opportunity to bring some of the new blocks in is this too dark like the dark brown next to the dark purple Tint I don’t hate that oh we got pinged back on Discord what are we saying what are we saying did they respond cuz I’m Pro building tip strip Cherry logs look like a hot dog they do oh did you say something to me I was AFK no I don’t think So uh I’ve been you know chatting but uh they do kind of un like an uncooked one right like it’s definitely an uncooked hot dog that’s a little bit unsettling I hadn’t seen that before has this ruined Cherry Cherry logs for me I mean I built My starter house out of cherry logs but they’re like the unstripped kind it’s kind of hard to see from here who I actually like that block pallet a lot I don’t think we could use that here but hang on now I got to reset my fov I use Tweo as my my zoom app or my zoom mod and I don’t know it’s a little annoying sometimes I have to fix the fov every time I zoom in I don’t know I’m not convinced we should do like the unstripped Cherry log for this let’s throw a few in we’ll just see See what it looks like uh I’m going to clear my inventory a bit I got too much stuff way too much stuff raw dog yeah raw dog indeed I’m not sure exactly what mod I use but it uh use Fab fabulously optimized isn’t that a forge mod or Forge pack I guess technically zooming scrolling doesn’t mess with the fov yeah it’s a there’s dedicated Zoom mods I could get I just haven’t put in the time my mod pack is uh specific to me I do um couple of them are just like purely like ornamental like better F3 is Just that but all of these are are fabric based because I use replay mod which I actually updated all these mods like two streams ago uh or I guess before the second stream uh a couple stream ago uh and replay mod hasn’t even updated and the whole reason I use Fabric is because I use replay mod but um yeah so it’s just you know I’ve got continuity for the connected textures this is for the fresh animations entity model features you have to have OptiFine or you have to have this uh extreme sound Muffler is just so I can shut Phantoms up and then obviously it’s fiber uh that comes with shipped with a I think fabric API item scrollers is just for item management iris is shaders and DM is for continuity so it doesn’t break your game yeah so like it’s got all the same stuff as fabulous fabulously optimized Um I think as as I’ve never really played around with fa fabulously optimized but it’s like I I want to say it’s basically a better OptiFine and everything that I have here in my my mod pack is basically OptiFine it’s just for fabric client yeah and tweo is tweo does a Bunch of stuff uh and so does mini HUD but uh yeah I don’t know sometimes it’s like it kind of borders on vanilla it’s like a little bit on the edge uh it’s an OptiFine it doesn’t take two years to update exactly yes yeah that is that is an OptiFine that we Like can you just not please was there another one or is that it speaking of sound Muffler Let’s uh oh spelling is important okay so I’ve deleted some of their sounds uh this is the one that’s super loud but then if I if I turn this one Off I actually can’t hear him coming at all and they can knock me off of stuff and I’m a little bit irresponsible and sometimes I run around on like not full health and that’s a recipe for disaster the hurt is fine cuz if I I mean I’m shooting them so I know that They’re being hurt and that’s fine and it’s not super loud and it doesn’t hurt my ears but the flap I think happens after they’ve spawned and after I’ve already like interacted with them one time it’s actually kind of weird trying to figure out what sounds correlate with what actions for Mobs yeah exactly now I can’t hear him coming in which is annoy oh there a little short on that one I think the arrow went through him okay yeah I think I literally hit him but it just if they’re too close the way the the Minecraft calculates like entity Movement is just it literally can’t hit them if they’re just too close because they’re already moving at a momentum toward me and and it just can’t calculate where stuff goes it’s a bit odd but yeah I can’t really like go about my day without having that sound which is unfortunate because that’s the One sound that is horribly loud uh and that was the swoop yeah I wish this mod had a feature where I could just turn them down like I don’t want to have to turn down all my Hostile Mobs but yeah it’s just I’m just being nitpicky that’s what it is I’m just being Nitpicky uh I can actually put away some of my Redstone stuff chains I don’t think I need on me right now uh no we don’t want to do that we’re trying to make this build look a little bit oldfashioned right smooth stone slabs look good but I don’t think it would really work For what I’ve got going on definitely going to need more of that we’re going to throw a few more ch logs in here but I think I’ve got a bunch of them over here uh maybe that’s stone that sandstone and frog lights hello Satan oh you’re here for me great I’ve Been waiting for you you know it is the end of the night we could do a quick sleep to make sure we don’t get storage room sooner rather than Later it’s uh it’s a bit of a problem and it’s becoming worse especially as I like add a bunch of variation to these builds it gets to be a bit much um is there another Black Block that kind of matches these Cherry logs and Nether Bricks or is this just kind of It I guess for variation I could put some of them on their side right I don’t know does that just look messy I feel like that kind of looks messy uh they’re like so close and I think from far away it’ll might it might looks like texturing and we definitely can probably Use the the the nether brick walls and like fences and stuff for detailing on this type of block pallet but it’s just not quite there if I’m using it in the in the same plane as the Cherry logs so I think for any sort of texturing on the actual wall portion We’re just going to have to use like different facing logs or different direction facing logs words are hard um and then I’m going to need to do oops a little bit more with these and I have this cross piece here I don’t think I’m going to do anything with that uh Yeah I mean with this being such a short build I think that we can Do yeah we’ll just do cherry logs up the roof nailed it oops that one and then wait where is the angle on this why is my brain having such a hard time with this this height and then this height and then this height except I’m probably Going to swap that out for the dark oak because that makes sense why am I holding all these Phantom membranes get out of my inventory you’re the worst and I’m just going to do a little bit of Randomness here for this stuff we’ll end up punching out some Holes for Windows and stuff here in a second but for now yoink yeah let’s get rid of that roof line oh just kidding I totally missed oh Bellow thing now but the Frog Light definitely does look like a creased piece of fabric though I mean so it’s not a stretch to say that it’s a Bellow but we might have to put like a trap door on top of it and Then I obviously need more deep slate to finish off the outside of the chimney and stuff and I’ve got all these stairs I might as well use them so like yeah if it was like this I mean you can pretend that this thing is like squeezing or Something like if I was to like jump up on this it would go down and then the Bellow would push air into this I don’t know if there’s a good way to convey that from inside the build though CU I can’t see any of that nonsense Right so do we just put like another Frog Light there or what or do we just not worry about it or do we put like a dropper that would be kind of funny like pretend the little dropper just like making a little face to like blow air into the Forge oh wait no it’s not dropper it’s dispenser hey magma if you could stop burning me that would be super cool there it is and then I’m kind of struggling do we suspend the chimney and get rid of the walls or do we kind of embrace the chimney Look and like encircle the entire thing like get don’t get me wrong I know nothing about forging things like the extent of my knowledge is literally like I mentioned earlier is it was Aragon or the pringer book which was The Inheritance cycle but like it’s been a minute since I read the Book so like I don’t know I’m pretty sure he made his Forge out of bricks I don’t know uh I think we might go for suspending it in the air it does mean we are now uncovering this Observer but I’m sure there’s another way that we can get Around this uh besides I think I’d rather have the open area to install the Redstone first and then we’ll come back through and we’ll make it uh pretty so I think we got to take a log and go straight underneath this thing of course um I just keep forgetting this holes Here um but yeah I think we do a dark oak log and that will suspend the chimney we’ll do like one on this side and then one on this side uh and then do I have any scaffolding not really all right and now I can add in a couple of These and a few stairs that’s not going to work we do a stair this way I guess and connect it to that no we want it to get thinner as it goes up I think so in fact actually let’s just get this guy out of the way we’ll go up like This we’ll switch back and then we’ll do one of those wrap it around this way and it looks messy but it still definitely looks like a chimney so let’s kind of scoot back a bit see from this angle it doesn’t look messy at all like it literally just Looks like one row of blocks so we’re definitely going to have to add some walls I think into that angled bit right there umm yep those blocks I forgot what I was doing Cobble we’ll do six that’s fine yeah this is a very flat looking wall and I didn’t realize till just Now so we’re definitely going to have to do something to like flare this out at least at the bottom and then the dark oak log that we run underneath this can go like right here and then this is actually part of the crane uh I’d kind of prefer to have this Opened up a bit so that you can kind of see that it’s actually like separate from the chimney like I don’t want it to look like it’s supporting the chimney or anything so let’s get rid of all of those and then obviously everything that’s below where these beams are running That’s also got to go so I’m thinking everything that’s kind of down there we’ve got this like cool little shape with the the walls here and then the stairs on top of that all of that’s got to like move up a couple blocks uh and I don’t really trust myself to Recreate this cuz I just did it on a whim and I wasn’t really thinking about what I wanted it to look like so yeah we’ll do a quick little screeny and then screenshots let me just crack open my six million screenshot folder or screenshot folder full of six million Items uh I never delete any of my screenshots I probably should call some of these I’m sure many of them are not worth keeping I’m sure some of them were actually just an accident number and I try to do everything in odd numbers generally it just makes my life easier we’re definitely gonna have to do something here uh or actually no that’s where we should do the Walls yeah we got the this wall shape that I wanted to do we go in one here out one here and then over a few and then I think on top of this we can just go actually let’s break out that and we will turn that one that Way I want this to look very much like a messy sort of thrown together type of thing and then maybe we do like one row of walls right across here and make sure that it connects down to the log so it like has a semblance of realism uh Oh my goodness is my dog doing it again I think he wants more treats he’s so spoiled okay definitely want to cover up as many of those little like holes where you can see through especially since from the bottom I might actually be able to see through It let’s do a wall there and then there and we still get the smoke coming through which is good but I definitely want to connect that there and then do this maybe I think I’m going to extend these two up one and then do maybe a couple more stairs here m Yeah let’s grab couple more walls so now if I’m down here at the bottom which is where I’ll be viewing it from most of the time like down here and then obviously from the air but it defin definely looks like the chimney thing is sitting here and There I don’t love how thin this looks it looks like it’s kind of barely hanging on so maybe that’s got to be a full block or something even still like it’s like having the air gaps between the beam which is supposed to be holding this up And the chimney it feels a bit flimsy so maybe we do like an upside down stair there that actually does make it look a lot better and then we got to do something here for that uh the crane looking thing goes through it’s really not a crane Right cuz this thing won’t pivot ever it’s just to hoist items in and out of here I would assume very heavy to use if we’re going to use one um or do we one of those do we do one of those like cottage style ones where like The walls actually stick up above the the side of the roof I mean that be kind of cool I mean since we’re using this 45° angle it might be nice to make it look different as well do I have any torches of course not oh and it fell let’s try that Again holy frame drops what the heck so stinking villagers again I’m telling you uh I just realized that looked super weird without some sort of cross supporting piece and might even be a good idea to do there as well wait uh here get all those shaved down looks good I like It this is our pretend Bellow this is our little grindstone thing this is a use useless dirt pillar that’s the little Anvil counterweight to lift things in and out of the forge and then we can start to kind of detail the house I suppose but let’s get The roof on first before I get ahead of myself I’m always getting ahead of myself I will put this back in here Um I don’t think I want to use deep slate on the roof here I’m thinking since the rest of the build is so dark we should probably brighten it up a bit so that means we should probably either use I don’t really want to use Stone per Se but we could definitely maybe ooh I mean I tried this before and that build still looks awful but if it stays green uh I guess I can compact all compact all these back down I really need these anymore this does look pretty thatch like and it looks even more thatch like Actually if it’s stripped I wonder if it’s stripped can I put it next to Hay Bales is it going to look like decent I mean from far away it might actually look that bad we’ll bring it along we’ll see the other question is will a thatched roof even work here I was Talking earlier about how in Skyrim I’m pretty sure that the blacksmith guy does have like a thatched roof even though he lives in a for basically and that felt kind of weird to me because like how easy is that for just that to just light on fire I don’t know Uh maybe we don’t do thatch roof I don’t want to overthink this too much so let’s just kind of lay down some of these blocks first wait what I’m doing this at the wrong height wait no I’m not no I’m not no I’m not no I’m not break that out and this and This throw a couple of these in here maybe even one or two like this I’m thinking I need to make these patches of wheat look a little bit bigger and then if I strip all this back I could even kind of work in like a Little bit of a woven shape if I have like reference blocks back Here or like a like a shape where these are facing down or at least out I guess it’s a little bit weird on this side because it’s like it doesn’t there’s nowhere for the this to hang over like I would probably end up doing this down uh off the edge of the Side of this uh if I was a smart person like a so like if I really wanted this to look like thatch right it’s going to be running perpendicular to the the line of the roof so I don’t know as I get further away I’m not sure if it gets more like that Or less like it I don’t know I think if I like really want to know what it looks like I think I have to just finish the roof line I do think that I am going to have them facing out though and then along the top here we would probably do like something To something that would go across but it wouldn’t be the same as all the rest of it necessarily we’ll leave it green for now just in case but the rest of this I think can go like this Kind of forgot about this definitely want this to overlap I am out here trying my damnest to try to make these 120 blocks work together and they I don’t know why my brain just won’t let it happen but it’s like this looks terrible no matter what You do do these two blocks never work together try as I might I just and this might be an entirely personal thing like I have no idea if somebody looked at my build and was like wow that actually looks decent like but my brain despite their compliment potential compliment It’s still going to be like no this looks weird purple and yellow I don’t know feels kind of weird we can definitely add in a lot of the bamboo detail blocks to kind of frame in the roof as well too I think most thatch roofs are also Going to have some elements of Timber framing as well which is just like obviously devoid on this uh this build so okay grab I think I’m going to leave the top one kind of doing this still not entirely Sure uh but now I’ve actually got to go back through and add back a bunch of dirt for this side just as temporary blocks since all of this stuff is directional and I want it facing the other direction get rid of this guy and this one oh I think those were actually incorrectly Whoops so for this bottom layer we actually might be able to go two and then the next one down we can just go like that and then just build up something underneath it I don’t know yet uh maybe that and then I’m going to break out a Few here and there to just kind of be like this just give it a little bit more texture oh you know potentially we could also do some planks just to kind of make sure it looks a little bit different in some spots um I really do kind of want to make sure That I’m doing this with I think the ones on the very top side of the roof up here I think it just looks better like it looks actually like I don’t know thatch thatch that’s what I’m going for if that is in clear uh we’ll go with that and I forgot I have to do all the reference blocks for these uh except for that one actually then I’ll do a few more in there um a couple of these Guys the other like kind of pain point of not like you know planning all of this out in Creative is that I’m trying block p it’s on the Fly and that is definitely a recipe for disaster okay is this even going to fit in here with oh my God it really Is sometimes I’m a bit of a genius I didn’t even intend to do that oh my God and that’s actually the last two blocks so that worked out Kind of Perfect also unplanned oh just kidding I’m missing two I suppose I can put one hay bale out Here uh but then the rest of this should probably be bamboo and I think I’m almost out I think I’ve used pretty much no I’ve got nine Stacks still so at least one full stack of blocks yep but now I think I’m out unless there’s some in here No I used a bunch of it on scaffolding oh my God I forgot about all this never mind we’re good okay and now I got to get all this dirt gone okay I think I might actually pivot and like turn this outward what the hell I never realized that the song is Starting to be become weird until it’s like weird I don’t know I like EP epidemic sound as like a a ser it’s really nice don’t get me wrong but using their music feature is a little bit weird sometimes I never really know what I’m going to get out of It all right and then let’s break down some of these into planks so that I can at least get some slabs um let’s do I don’t know like 18 of those we’ll turn into that’s a divisible number by three right and do we do the mosaics or do we Do these or do we do both uh yep one of each of those so I think to just give this roof a little bit more shape we can probably add in a few of these in kind of like a ridge pattern we’re still getting the end Texture which kind of makes it look a little bit more like straw uh but it isn’t like egregious in fact I actually might only be able to use these kind of toward the center here in the bottom Parts cuz this is like too wide I think to use it up here would be A little bit more difficult oops yeah actually I mean that doesn’t look like the worst thing in the world we’re going to have to fly back and see how it looks from far away that’s kind of like the ultimate test right what does the top of a thatched Roof look like is it just like wheat draped over the top Uh that that TCH yeah generally it’s just that it’s just more of the same we could definitely add a chimney to this as well okay let’s see this from far away and are we going to need more color variation in order for this to actually look somewhat natural you know what actually doesn’t Not look thatched that is not bad I mean from far away is what we’re looking for right we’re looking for that I want it to look like this thing from a distance that’s what I’m going for I wish these blocks connected a little bit better but I suppose I could probably Help that a little bit with some trap doors uh do something a little bit like this now at least they have like a little bit of overlap so they don’t look like corner to corner you know what I mean I could probably do something similar on the top here hold On no definitely not there definitely looks bulked up it looks like there’s almost like a like a slab’s width there it looks a bit syy from down here I tried to add in a bunch of these hay bales but I put them in places that like aren’t Visible at least not anymore um and also I need to be doing like the bottom side of this we got to add in all of this still that’s got to Go and then we got to add in a bunch more of this do a couple like that and we’ll just strip that all back and and I suppose for this side over here I can definitely turn this again uh we’ll do like one of these there and then one of these There and it starts to kind of look woven together I’m probably going to end up covering this with slabs but it’s fine just to give it a little bit more shape is it playing country music now what is going on what no okay we’re going to have to switch Over to a different mood or till just Now oh I did miss a few trap doors over on this side I didn’t do the ones on top I guess I just did one of them so I need in total one two three four five of those uh trap doors are expensive yes very much so Um I I somebody broke it down for me or not not me specifically but they broke it down in like a Reddit comment I readit I want to say was like a week or two ago and I was like I’ve always thought the trap doors were pretty expensive but I was Like kind of a it was a bit of an Epiphany for me if you think about it in like a redstone functionality sense as far as cost goes it makes slightly more sense um re and it was actually kind of brought to my attention because recently I’ve been doing like a like a not recorded not streamed playthrough of uh like a true Sky Block vanilla game and trap doors and redstone open up so much in the tech tree going from like like you’re you’re working from wooden tools up to get to Try and get uh like a lava Bucket from a villager or whatever the data pack mechanic is uh it can kind of vary from from like mod maker to mod maker but um in like a truly vanilla sense if you don’t spawn with lava you can’t get it But I digress that’s all beside the point but yeah as far as like trap doors go they are incredibly functional so it’s like it kind of makes more sense I’m not saying I enjoy breaking down like 25 bamboo blocks to get like eight trap doors but it does make more sense to me Now it was a bit of an aha moment if you will okay I think I can just add a few more back to this side over here and that should give it a little bit more bulk at least from the side wide angle and then we can probably throw in a few More of these slabs here and there um they’re more useful but if you’re basically just using them as thinner slabs it’s expensive yeah that’s true three planks that’s six times the price of the slabs yes yeah it’s it’s expensive oops I missed oh maybe like a couple more in here just To make it look not so flat and regular and Then I honestly should make these into more slabs or uh trap doors oh I keep forgetting my pop filter is not there sorry if I’m deafening you let’s see what this looks like from the ground before I go and like craft a bunch of bamboo stuff down into Well it doesn’t look terrible but I think that this needs to be like a little bit more of a peak and less messy it just looks like it’s like randomly placed right now and that’s not really what I’m going for the other side has like a bit of a Curvature to it I’m trying to avoid using stairs I do have these here oh my God I have 16 trap doors what the heck I do not remember crafting those where did I oh yeah there I was about to say where did I have all those blocks that I need let’s Make I don’t know like that many slabs that’s too many slabs I just made far too many slabs damn it uh and then I’ve got a few trap doors here I I want to use those up before I craft anymore yeah this looks way too messy these have got to Go and then honestly I’m probably going to lose at least a little bit of the top view of some of these hay bales this looks bad so this should go kind of like that give it a little bit more of a curve shape and I do mean a little bit uh Yeah I mean I’m not too worried about the cost of these because I do have my bamboo Farm it’s just like it doesn’t really run very often because I haven’t spent any time at my industrial Island in a while uh that does look a little bit More I don’t know not flat but this section here that’s something that I didn’t have to deal with on the other side cuz obviously it just goes right into this like uh lean to overhang thing uh I’m thinking we either have to cut into some of This or we have to add to the bulk on the bottom of the corners to make it kind of curve and droop down at the edges here uh which actually doesn’t not that doesn’t look terrible and we still get the Trypophobia like exposed ends there That kind of still do make it look like thatch a bit I might oh jeez I might try and do this a little bit I want to see what this looks like cep does that look better not really it looks pretty much the same I’ll get rid of some of those some of Them can stay and then if I go like this I missed do I have something I can scaffolding with I sure do I think I need maybe let’s just make like 10 more that’s six there’s 10 oh I almost hit that uh lightning rod we’ll do one slab on that side so it Looks a little different and I’m thinking we can probably get rid of this uh I don’t know if we do like a full block here is that going to look weird oops uh I meant to do yeah double slab I think actually since we used the Trap door there I might be okay let’s scoot back a bit okay it’s still pretty straight Lin especially up toward the the top there you can kind of still see but I really don’t know if I can avoid that I suppose I could add maybe some slabs to the outer edges Something I don’t know if I’m running along this road here and I’m walking by I think for the most part you can see the curvature in the center here and then you can see the curve on the bottom oh man but those straight lines really are egregious aren’t they they’re Kind of hard to not see how do I do this without making slabs and stairs I think I’m just going to have to break a couple of these make some stairs at least in one or two spots just so it’s not so Samy crap okay that I think that’ll be better if I Do one here and then I’m going to keep it really really light on this side since I’ve bulked up a bunch of this I think if I do like one stair right here I think that might do it give me back all of these blocks please all right let’s scoot back a Little further oh that looks still so straight on this side it’s cuz we’re revealing it viewing it from the like the ground up it’s hard to see all the shape especially since it’s so like monochrome same color but it’s like really hard to find a block that’s like similar but not exactly the Same let’s do maybe a bit more color variation that might make that stand out a little bit better do I have enough to make some more slabs I definitely do I just again I don’t have a crafting table on me bruh grab a couple of those oh I rammed my face right into That deserved okay that can go there and to avoid overd detailing this any further I think that can be the last one it looks better than it did okay just kidding I lied I think we’re going to do a couple more in this bottom Row it’s a thatch roof you just have to squint and use your imagination all right and now we got to figure out where the freaking windows are going to go uh these ones are done obviously so I guess actually the ones on the other side if I just mirror it those are also Done uh right here three tall I’ve still got all this dirt in here all right let’s just break these guys and I need these in my hot bar this one that one and that one okay okay and then I’ve got pearlescent Moon frog lights okay it’s like a little cute quaint little build Thing I don’t really know what to do with the trim on the outside here I don’t want it to match the thatch match the thatch that rhymes the chimney does not look as good from this angle that just looks like a 45 degree angle right there it looks good from here oh I Missed I’m Wonder wonder if I can just invert this entire thing to go on the bottom side of the beam that I’ve got going here cuz I kind of still need to install the rest of this roof and I forgot let’s throw a few of these in here And we’ll pretend really hard that it’s thatch okay break that oops and that what in the world did I do to get over here did I fly through this Gap I don’t think I can replicate that oh I can I’m a genius do I still have some of this on Me I do okay so let’s do that and that and then and uh stair full block actually I can do a full block here too and then along the botom bottom side here I suppose I can do like a couple of those yeah that looks good I like That might need to do something here also it looks like I missed the the trapo trick that I was doing there on this segment and I did just use the last of my trap doors of course um let’s honestly let’s just kind of n this for Now I think I might be able to find something more creative to do and also I don’t think that this guy needs a crane to use his Forge actually in Skyrim technically uh throw that in there technically I think that the guy was using a chain to use the Bellow right am I thinking about this animation properly like the dude stands there like with the black the Anvil thing and like ham hammer and then he like turn and then he grab the rope and like Pull the Rope and the blow the Rope would blow the Billow Which would make the forge light up further am I overthinking this probably interior Decor I’ve got too much stuff all of those can go in here why do I have red wool we may never know oh my God I fell definitely going to have to do something else with this I Think I’m using these full blocks here but I think that this can be swapped out for slabs kind of like I did on this side and then these can be swapped out for double uh trap doors ironically enough that side right there doesn’t actually look that bad but Yeah where oh yeah I got to go over here probably got to grab a little bit more of that uh did I I did already have a bunch of planks there’s 16 more trap doors ouch that was my face okay so let’s do slab slab Slab trap door and then if I can reach trapo okay I think that’ll work Um oh yeah and I needed a double trapo situation thing to do this One I actually might be able to do this that might help a little too oh that did help that helped a lot oh and I can’t see I like that I think that’s cool uh we’re just going to like pretend that that fire escape there is not made out of Bamboo definitely don’t look at that too hard uh because if you do then you’ll realize that the the roof is made out of fire escape okay I think there’s something to this Bellow idea like if I was to get rid of this and then run the chain which I think I put Away I just realized uh yeah here’s some oh my god my phone’s going off what is why do I have an alarm set for right now I’m not sure uh oh God is that the time though I went way past my stream time I was aiming for Uh where did my I put those away too didn’t I I think this will be the last thing we work on we’re just going to throw in the last of this little crane thing and we’ll get working on other stuff in the next stream I got uh another one scheduled for tomorrow I Believe actually it’s not scheduled but I’ll be doing one tomorrow um we’ll do that and that and then that and then break that eh we’ll figure something out with that but then if the
