Xbox’s Minecraft and luckily I’ve already test out this process like several times so I hope it works just as great for you also I hope you’ve been doing great lately because personally Life For Me has been good but it’s also been a little bit crazy too as I’ve been

Working on my personal Minecraft texture packs which I also plan to release on the Minecraft Marketplace someday taking classes working way too much and have been streaming on Twitch whenever I possibly can which has been so much fun and I hope to catch you there sometime too however that only scratches the

Surface of what I’ve been planning and working on behind the scenes for our channel here I can’t wait to share all with you our family is growing every single day and I only have all of you to thank unfortunately other content creators on here tend to take my info

And process without ever giving me any credit including even taking my exact video titles and copying the video Styles and format but I won’t let this bring me down or stop me from delivering you all amazing content as much and whenever I possibly can if you haven’t

You in just a moment dedication All right everyone per usual I’m ecstatic about bringing you today’s tutorial and covering some crucial updates to the process all while offering some pointers for people who may be struggling with this process more than others I try my best in all of my videos to make this as straightforward

As possible affordable and as fun as possible too with that being said let’s Dive Right In first off if you haven’t seen my previous videos of mine you may want to go ahead and check them out as I show you how to get the specific apps I

Show and use for today’s process you’re going to need only one app called expansion for explorers but it’s a little tricky because you can only download this app by first having the app called my files Explorer and you can’t find expansion 4 explorers directly in the marketplace you have to

First download my files and then access the store Page via prompt that my files Explorer will pop up when you open up the app for the first time once you successfully install the expansion for explorers app I want you to make sure you are completely closed out of any

Games or apps that you have running in the background at this time as this may interfere with the whole process additionally please make sure that you’re only signed into one Xbox profile while completing the rest of today’s process as once again having more than one signed in will mess up the process

Now please open up the expansion for explorers app and wait for the main screen to load if you look in the upper left hand corner of the app screen you’ll see the words download from URL please take your cursor and hover over this option and press a on it that will

Take you to the built-in browser inside the expansion app for today’s example I want to show you how to download the Fantastical medieval furniture mod which adds so much to the base game all while retaining the vanilla feel of Minecraft also this gives me the opportunity to

Show you how and where to add game files to which specific folders it is always my hope to show you diverse file types so you can hopefully Sherlock home some other tricky mods or file types as well in order to find this beautiful add-on I want you to type in

Mcpedl.com or what I like to call mcpedal.com and then type in many evil Furniture this should give you a direct link to the mcpedal page for the mod once you hover your cursor over the page and press a this will load the page for the add-on where you’ll go ahead and

Scroll all the way to the bottom of this page to the download section of this add-on here there will be several files but I’m going to go ahead and show you step by step on how to download the geometry fixer resource pack the textured resource pack and lastly the

Behavior pack for the medieval Furniture add-on and also in that order now please proceed to click on the geometry link and this will take you to the forwarding page and warning you that you’re leaving mcpedal.com please press continue and this will luckily bring you straight to the

MediaFire link for this pack please go ahead and click on the blue download button and download queue should appear in the upper right hand side of this screen once it’s done downloading the file and it should bring you automatically to the my expansions folder and tab of the app

Here you should see the thumbnail of the geometry fixer for the add-on however I’m not going to actually have you do anything with this yet instead I want you to leave the file alone until we’re done getting all the files for the medieval Furniture add-on or any other

Mods or skin packs or worlds that you’re going to download in this process next let’s go ahead and download the texture resource pack of the mod by clicking back on the mcpedal page tab found at the top of the screen and this will take you right back to the medieval Furniture

Page and the download section now please go ahead and press on the texture resource pack link and this will again take you to the forwarding page that you must press continue on this will then bring you to the link for Ties page for the texture or resource pack of this mod

Please give it a moment and then scroll about halfway down this page where you’ll actually see two options the one that we’ll be using for today’s example is a free access with ads button go ahead and hover your cursor over and then select it with a this should then

Bring up a list of tasks that you must complete in order to gain access to the MediaFire page of the resource download the first one that we’re going to select is the Discover articles option however don’t select or press on anything on this page simply just press the x button

Found the upper right hand corner of this pop-up screen and this will go ahead and start a prompt for five seconds wait for that five second countdown to complete and then go ahead and press that x button again and this should exit out of the pop-up window and

Complete that first task for you now we have to deal with that next task called buff gaming download which don’t worry this doesn’t actually force you to download anything on your Xbox so you can go ahead and proceed forward with pressing the option then I wait actually

A few seconds and then press the x button and then loaded the task again then I continue to wait for a few minutes or so and the task eventually completes and then shows that it’s done after this you should simply go back to the top URL and then reload the link for

Ties page there should now be an available button in the middle of the link for types page that says free access instead of free access with ads press on this and this will bring you to the MediaFire download page for the resource pack of the medieval Furniture add-on simply press the blue download

Button on the download prompt and this will begin in the upper right hand corner of the screen eventually you should be loaded into the expansions portion of the expansions app where you’ll go ahead and see the new resource pack icon again hold tight as we’re going to download the behavior pack

Portion of the add-on now to start go back to the mcpedl page go to the download section of the add-on page and then select the hyperlink labeled as Behavior packs download just like before this will bring you to the forwarding page of the mcpedal page where you’ll

Also press continue however I’m going to go ahead and speed up this portion of the video as you follow the same exact process that you did for the link for ties pages but for the behavior pack this time not the resource pack it’s also very important to note that if

You’re having any issues going through this process on the expansions app you may also go through the entire process up to the MediaFire link on like let’s say Microsoft Edge and then copy and paste the MediaFire link into the expansions app where it’ll also let you download it at that point the expansion

App is actually necessary no matter what and you can’t use Edge alone because Microsoft it doesn’t actually allow you to access your downloads whereas expansion for Explorer does once you’ve gone through all the same exact steps to download the behavior pack we’re going to now go ahead and install all those

Packs onto our Xbox the order which we’re going to install is the geometry fixer pack the texture or resource pack and then the behavior pack of the add-on the start hover recursor over the pack icon for the geofixer resource pack then go ahead and press your Xbox controller start button

And then lastly press the install from the list of options down below this will start the extraction process but once complete the geometry fixer files will be installed into the resource packs folder of your Minecraft files after it’s done extracting go ahead and repeat this install process for both the

Texture resource pack and the behavior pack of the add-on simply hover over the texture pack icon press the start on the file then press the install option from the list of options and then wait for it to extract fully and then again do the same exact thing with the behavior pack

Press start on the file icon press install from the list of options and then wait for the files to extract to the behavior packs folder of your Minecraft files as a quick note if this is a different add-on with only one file type known as dot MC add-on or make add-on you would

Actually be able to just go ahead and press install on this file type it would actually send a resource and behavior pack files all to the appropriate locations on your Xbox in your Minecraft folders however many mods and add-ons come in the previous way that I showed

So I want to make sure that I give you the best possible scenarios and examples in my videos now let’s go ahead and double check to make sure our files went to the right places in order to do this simply hover over the packages folder found the left hand side of the screen

Press A on it allow all the folders to load onto the app then scroll down through the list of options until you see a folder named microsoft.minecraftswp console once you do manage to track it down click into this folder which will actually bring you to another list of folders where

You’ll want to select local state option then next games then lastly com.mojing folder the com.mojing folder contains a list of folders you need access to or to add folders for various Minecraft File types however for the geometry fixer mod you’ll need to click into the resource underscore packs folder if you don’t

Already have this folder on the screen or others that you see on the screen you’re going to want to go ahead and hover over a blank area of the app Press Start and then add a folder and also name it exactly the same way in the screen above once you click into the

Resource pack folder a file named a geometry fixer should appear near the top of the list of folders in order to see if the file is in the right format for Minecraft to read please press a and open the folder to see what’s inside fortunately the mfgo fixer is in the

Right format as you can see all the files and also the file PNG including the manifest.json file now go ahead and press B and back out to the other list of folders and click into the MF 3.0 RP pack and again it’s also in the right format showing the manifest.json file

And also the file PNG lastly go ahead and back out to the mojing folder and press into the behavior packs folder where you’ll also lastly click into the MF 3.0 BP folder this will also verify its contents luckily it also shows the manifest.json and the thumbnail for the

Pack and since all the files do show correctly and are also in the right Minecraft folders we are now done with the expansion app portion of this process however hold tight because we are now ready to do the last few things in this process to make sure these files

Show up in your Minecraft game as an important note if you plan to download any other mods texture packs skin packs or worlds I suggest doing that before following the next steps of the process now I’d like you to exit out to the Xbox dashboard and press start on all of your

Apps or games you have open at this time and quit out of them then I want you to go ahead and visit your games and apps go down to the Minecraft game and then press start on this press uninstall and then lastly uninstall all I know this sounds counter and conduitive but I

Promise this is necessary to make the file show up inside the game after the icon disappears let’s once again go back to our home dashboard and go back to the Xbox’s Microsoft store then we’re going to go ahead and type in Minecraft and select the Minecraft deluxe edition

Please don’t buy this instead scroll down down to the section labeled add-ons for this game and for this example let’s go ahead and use the Avatar Legends pack but again please do not buy this instead scroll down again to the section labeled works with and select the first

Minecraft game option from the list of three then lastly from this page press install you own this however please note that we want to make sure to finish the download process and update the game after this to do this go back to your games and apps and go to your queue of

Downloads and updates the download that you should see should be slightly less than a gig and should download fairly quickly once completed go back to the recently installed area and press on the Minecraft icon it should then prompt an update which you’ll need to go ahead and update to begin unfortunately this

Update usually does take about 20 to 30 minutes and has to be done every single time you want to add new content to the Minecraft game honestly get a snack or a drink and or something else for a moment while all this update downloads because

It does take a hot second once this is all done however you should see two Minecrafts appear in the recent upload section but however wait for one of them to automatically disappear what should be the second of the two now click into the recently installed Minecraft icon

And this should finally start up your Minecraft game with all of your newly added files and packs on it but please note that you will have to be a little bit patient because there is a bunch of syncing and resource loading screens that happen after you download mods

You’re going to want to make sure all of those complete before you actually start and press play into your Minecraft after that click on the play option and either click on the pencil icon of one of your existing Maps or create a new one for this example I’m going to go ahead and

Use my custom Skybox map as a dummy to show you how everything works after opening up the world options go to the game settings and scroll all the way down to the experimental options of the map then turn one of them on this will ask you if you’d like to activate

Experiments you’ll want to go ahead and agree to that and then this will make an experimental copy of the original World this is actually the copy of the world that you’ll be adding mods to and be adding more mods in the future too if you feel like as well after this is done

Let’s once again press on the edit option of the experimental copy this time and then go back to the experimental options of this world for this particular mod and map we’re going to go ahead and turn on all the experimental options except for the next major update option I also want to make

Sure you activate cheats for your mods as well because commands can be used to spawn in particular mod entities or structures that cannot always be acquired organically while playing the mod and then make sure that checkbox is selected to make sure that friends will download your packs when they join then

Go find the medieval Furniture geometry resource pack and also the texture pack and activate them both after that please go to your behavior pack section and then activate the medieval Furniture Behavior pack as well also if you’ve downloaded any other collaborative mods or packs please feel free to activate

Those as well at this time and then press start on your newly modded Minecraft world how exciting is that and trust me you’ll never be able to play Minecraft any other way and I highly suggest checking out my other content I stream on Twitch on the regular I plan
