Thank you Foreign S how we doing today I was lovely to see you all out here welcome welcome oh my gosh happy Wednesday fantastic to see you welcome on in oh my gosh we got so many people out here be sure to leave a like on the screen that helps me out a ton And I really do appreciate it and welcome on in my friends I see we got Elliot became a member earlier we got set of fire with the five gift memberships and Evan with a gift membership to the early Chatters thank you so very much all three of you I Really do appreciate the support I see we got a pixeled waffle in here we got uh Delaney we got Dreama we got Peach of science we got cats we got Jan uh somebody has a font I can’t read uh uh zakatai we got Renee we got Jessie cat We got Tash RK what’s going on Ethan king of all books Singularity I thought it’s your birthday today I think in there happy birthday my friend Marcel what’s going on chassis how you doing Walter welcome on in Evan hello Skye May what’s going on Lydia how we doing hi hi hi Uh Chanel welcome on in oh my gosh Ashley all right Ash eat Ash eat there we go yeah Max hello welcome on in Nathan what’s going on hello hello hello oh my gosh my friends we got some news to talk about today and it’s a spicy one It is a spicy one already you can see both sides of the Minecraft Community are coming up in arms and they are ready to fight each other I’ve even already been on the tweeters talking about it if you have not seen one that’s there uh Let’s go here for a moment if you have not seen Minecraft snapshot 23w31a came out this morning let me make this a little bit bigger for y’all so you can read it uh and then we do something like this I think this is one of my favorite snapshots they have ever released And I I honestly think this thing is fantastic and I wanted to get into it right away as you can see it’s themed about trading and villagers and emeralds and then there’s also this cheeky one in here diamond ore generation changes so more diamonds are gonna spawn down at The Deep slight level so they’re just increasing the amount of diamonds you’re gonna find in your world there’s a few things that are people are a little up in arms about and I understand their reasoning for it but I also think that’s the same group of people that say There’s nothing to do inside this game they build their Mega base they get all their things set up and then they’re like man Minecraft should add more content I have nothing to do and I think it’s that same group that’s upset right now but this thing is so cool Anyways the new experimental features this is behind the tags if you create a new world on the snapshot you have to turn this on and check it out but they’ve changed the way Librarians work right now you log in your Minecraft world you get your little lectern and You place it down in front of a villager and you open the library and trade and you hope you hope you pray you do whatever you do that you’re gonna get the Villager trade that you want in that situation and you don’t get it you repeat and you Repeat and I can confirm that I have multiple times sat in front of a lectern trying to get fortune 3 or something like that for over an hour and it’s not fun it’s not fun and you you lose so many hours of your life when you’re re-rolling lecterns and it’s not Engaging it’s just a chore that we have to do and this gets rid of that chore and it’s so cool you can see here Librarians from different biomes sell different enchantments and each Village biome has one enchantment that is only sold by Master Librarians so you have to level the Librarian all the way up to get it that’s where this comes in which I think is so cool desert villagers the master villager will always have efficiency right now this is efficiency three I hope they can clarify that there’s a chance of it being three four or five Because if the max we get is efficiency three and I’ve buy four of those books to get a five I’m gonna be a little upset about that so I hope we can clarify on that jungle villagers once you Max them out yes jungle villagers exist in this game You have to take two villagers to a jungle I don’t like that text on it and then you have the villagers breed and then you get a jungle villager it’s a unique skin it’s really cool they will always give you Unbreaking right now it says I’m breaking too hopefully that Becomes sunbreaking three as well because if that’s not if the maxed out villager trade is not a maxed out enchantment on the book I think that’s a miss planes will always give you protection 3. Savannah villagers sharpness 3 snow biomes will give you silk touch swamp biomes the other secret villager will Always give you mending there is a way to Target mending inside of this game and now swamps have a use outside of being a slime farm a swamp has a use and that is so cool let’s be honest the amount of effort you have to Go through to build a witch Farm in the swamp it’s not worth it you can go through 20 times less effort and build a stacking raid farm and you can get more witch drops than you can out of building a witch Farm in a swamp so this gives swamps an interesting like an Interesting thing in the game again there is no there’s nothing in the game that made swamps interesting outside of building a slime farm there was nothing to do in them so we get down to the swamp you can Target a mending book and that is so Cool and then in the Tiger Biome you can get fortune and I think that’s awesome yeah swamps actually becoming relevant right what this means for me and this is the part I’m so excited about is I now have an excuse to build seven villages I have an excuse for seven New Village Projects in whatever world I’m playing in whenever this comes out hopefully it’s the same hardcore world but I now have an excuse to go to every single one of these Villages and get the villagers for more than the fact is saying hey they look cool there’s a reason for them To exist now and that is fantastic that is so fun yeah we have seven Village revamps well five Village revamps two brand new villagers we have to build villager flip has made a comeback heck yeah you know it and I think that’s so cool this is one of my favorite updates They’ve ever done but it there’s more there is more and it’s so cool it’s so good I’m really excited about this I read this this morning and I was like getting into a workout and I was just like it’s just like yeah I love these changes But yeah so a player must build these Villages that access their trades for the two secret Village bombs I think that’s fun I think that’s cool but wait order now there’s more wandering villager wondering Trader changes the wandering Trader is going to be more useful the wandering Trader now Buys things and gives you emeralds these are their mocked up trades right now so he’ll buy a water bucket milk bucket fermented spider eyes baked potatoes hay bales whatever and they’ll give you emeralds back and then they’re also adding new additional trades to it I hope these get reworked with a chance of Having some super rare stuff because buying logs like no just sell me the saplings that why would I buy 32 because you they’re gonna sell eight logs for one emerald and they can do it four times until the trade disables why would I want that when I can just buy the Sapling because they trade the saplings I’m gonna buy the saplings of bone meal it every time but they also sell potions of invisibility and the other one right now is an iron pickaxe with that’s Enchanted I think that’s that’s cool and then also existing prices and the amount of existing trades Have been adjusted which means small drip Leaf you can buy more and I mean more we don’t know how much more but you can buy more small drip leaf you’re right we may be once in a blue moon can use the block now to decorate what I’m too excited I’m too excited They have lower prices and have a higher amount of item each item in stock that is fantastic I don’t this one I don’t like I hope that gets traded and changed for something else useful like I don’t need to buy 32 of a log that’s going to get me two stacks of planks I could get that in less than like five minutes diamond ore generation will is now more frequent in the Deep layers of the world that’s a big one this one people are upset about but I think it’s a good change I think it’s a good change because it makes the game more friendly And easier to get into and there’s less grind about it hearing a zombie villager now give only gives a big discount the first time let’s be honest you don’t need to cure zombie villagers or villagers to get the super trades a billion times over like some people do Some people make them like they cure them like 16 times to get them down to like one Emerald for everything in the time that you did that for a single villager you probably could build an emerald Farm that’ll give you unlimited emeralds and then it doesn’t matter So I also think this is a good change uh yeah there’s no longer bonuses for doing it multiple times so I think that’s good this one is creative only creative only uh these ones I don’t really know uh yeah but I just thought it was cool there’s a Few other technical changes in here and things like that you can read through uh then there’s this one chunk sending optimization chunks are no longer sent over the network to the client and one big continuous batch they are instead sent in smaller batches depending on the available bandwidth that means clients With extremely low bandwidth connections will not time out while loading the world fly into a low bandwidth connections can interact with the world while some chunks are still loading you’re gonna be able to play on servers more easily I think that’s great and only chunks in the client’s render Distance so now on a server even if you turn your render discs say your server is set to 16 chunks and you turn your own render distance to like eight because you’re like this is lagging my game the server is still gonna send you all that even though you’re only Displaying less than well less than half of it like a quarter of it right so this is actually going to make it nice to meet you better people can now control how much they’re seeing on servers so the ability to play on servers is just getting so much more Accessible for everybody and that is awesome there’s all these other little things in here you can read through this if you want to that’s all just blah blah blah blah blah blah blah they are some really good changes coming in this update I think it’s so fun so I’m very Excited for this one I want to share that today because I saw it and then um I instantly went to Twitter to be like I love this so cool uh Jules had sent a link in the Discord of the snapshot he’s talking about if you want to look yeah yeah it’s in there You can also just go to the minecraft.net uh they have it on fun have so much fun this snapshot is game Changing yeah yeah yeah uh what’s up with beacons uh I didn’t see anything on beakers maybe I missed it but good quality of life changes it’s one of those where I think it’s a really positive quality of life change and it’s also one where a lot of people are Really upset about it because they play Minecraft in very obscure ways um and it’s gonna affect those ways of playing the game but for like where Minecraft Mojang has officially announced multiple times that they’re gearing the game towards survival gameplay is geared towards playing in a regular survival world or or large biome World where you have access to everything and I think that is really good for them to decide you know what we’re just gonna focus on this and make this the best that we can I think that’s really cool I think that’s really smart on Mojang’s side instead of being like you know what We have to worry about and support every single thing out there which is gonna hinder a lot of what we can and can’t do inside the game where instead we could just say you know what Minecraft Survival players are geared towards playing in survival and everything else Is a challenge that they willingly take on we don’t force that challenge on anybody and if they want to take on that challenge that’s great and the challenge might become harder or different as it goes but that’s that’s the way it is it would not be good for super flat Jeb Literally has announced multiple times that super flat is nodded intended survival gameplay mode so I if Mojang is building Minecraft around being something you can do in super flat and like fully access the new content in super flat I think that is going to make the game so much worse I’m not I it does suck that they’re losing functionality but if you have an existing super flat world if you look at the previous Village and pillage update that did not change any of your existing villagers if you had existing villagers before Village and pillage you still got Those old ways of the trading work so like you could still get I I had a mending villager in the building with whip world if you have the download for it you can go visit him he’s in that original Village still you can still unlimited trade mending books with them His trade never locks because he was one of the original villagers so if you have a super flat world that you’re playing in right now and you’re like oh my God this is going to kill my super flat world if you’re already playing in it and you Already have the Villager set up nothing is going to change unless those villagers die and then that’s on you that’s your fault that is that is the that is the fault of the player if your villagers die and you have them in a safe place That is 100 on you and if you lose the Villager you deal with the consequences but so yeah super flat isn’t meant to be played on it’s it’s meant to be it’s there for Creative testing and people who want to do in survival they can make it happen but it’s as a challenge Half of super flat is changing versions to get certain structures anyways but I don’t know it’s the way it goes uh Michaela fish thank already on the Reddit and already all over the places they’re probably not in here because they’ve listened to what I’ve said and just said this guy’s dumb he doesn’t know anything he’s talking about They’re ruining my Minecraft you don’t one if it is really ruining the game for you you don’t have to update that’s that’s a big part of it uh two I think being more open to the route that Mojang is taking the game is a really good way To go like they’ve done a good job with the game if you look at where Minecraft started versus where it is now it is a completely different game and it’s so much better now and I think this is a really really cool way to move forwards On a new update it’s adding on top of the exploration update being the trails and Tails update and it’s giving you at minimum seven more projects to do inside the game that previously the entire project was all of these things was sitting in front of a villager trapped In a box with a lectern breaking the lectern putting it back down and looking at the Villager they took that action what was the snapshot news you can go back early on the stream and catch it all we went through everything um but they took the action of breaking a Lectern and cycle it over and over and over again something completely tedious and boring that nobody wants to do except for you have to do it to get the Villager trades and now they turn it into a way that’s super cool like it’s it’s a way to play the game and still Achieve the same result and potentially could take less time and I think that’s awesome and I think it’s really cool I like the idea of exploring for a chance uh but then I do want to guarantee for Max trades maybe a little bit more accessibility for mending I think The Mending being Mending is too easy to get in this game I will say that mending is so easy to get in the game right now when it when you get mending you never need to get any more tools once you have mending and you have an experienced Farm You never need to do anything granted it does suck it is time consuming to go get tools and get new ones and enchant them up and blah blah blah blah and that does take time that takes a lot of time but it’s one of those where I think it’s A good change I think it’s something that’s gonna be really healthy for the game moving forwards and it’s something that will make the game more about living in your Minecraft world instead of living in your Minecraft base and I think that’s cool I I think a lot of People who are of that crowd that there’s nothing to do in Minecraft I finished my base I have nothing blah blah blah blah they’re just like what do I do in this game and then Mojang now in this is really saying here’s seven new projects and then you Can turn every single one of these projects at the different locations for the different villager trades that you need to get out there you can make them as big or small as you want you could literally make a witch hut that’s half the size put one villager in there get him a mending Trade and you’re done that’s it that’s you that can be the whole project for you you just have to get you have to breed a swamp villager and then Max them out all this we removed all the Red Sand back here last what was it Friday All this gone no more all gone uh the way the Project’s going big spoilers here uh no don’t say screw Mojang they’ve done an excellent job if you don’t like it you don’t have to play the game that’s as simple as that um you can be upset but like have Constructive criticism and feedback other than screw them they suck because you just sound dumb but anyways moving on to positive things in here I’ve already done all this this is where we’re at so far you can kind of see the atmosphere coming together all of this used to be red sand And everything so I’m working on like this Nile River type atmosphere if you remember Papyrus this is kind of where that Vision has evolved into and I really like it I haven’t done anything underwater yet this all used to be a big mountain coming up in here and what I Need to do now the unfortunate part of today is I’ve run out of sand all I have left is that box granite’s almost full but I’ve went through all of these boxes already so we’re gonna go mine for some sand today and uh once we get back from Mining for sand I want to uh spend some time expanding this River down the way my mouse is broken my sticky the Corsair icue program I use for the mouse all the buttons work on the side it crashes every few hours it’s so annoying I’ve almost died a few times Um yeah so I got all this Moss over here that we’ve been using we got dirt we got grass we got a little bit of rooted dirt the packed mud and jungle logs I was gonna bring in later for some like rocks so you can see we have the grass down Here that’s kind of looking like a more wet the idea is it’s I’m trying to make it look a little bit wetter General thought process here um in like connecting to everything so it’s like and then we have to really Lush of the moss in here because I Didn’t want to have like that dark kind of brownish grass color you get in the Mesa uh being that right over there so I really wanted to quickly transition into the Moss so we could get that really vibrant color yeah this is what I’ve been uh I spent About 25 hours on this so far uh and we’re just we’re just going upgrades and then the armor trim like very much is a useful thing now because of that which is great the wandering Trader being expanded makes me so hopeful oh my gosh I’m very excited for that I don’t Like the trades that they added to it I think those are a little bit of a bummer but maybe there’s a there can be something else coming are you gonna stream more videos teaching us how to build yeah we could definitely do some more and we do that on Friday we could we Could do something on Friday what would be a good top what would it get what would be a good topic you all want to learn more about in Minecraft building because last time we did a house and just kind of the general way of throwing a structure together you just kind of Gonna learn how to piecemeal those things together on top of that missed the snapshot why can’t I word today snapshot drama what’s going on uh they’re completely changing how librarian villagers work and they are locking certain trades behind being in certain biomes so the Only way to get a mending book now is to have a swamp villager which to me personally is cool because swamp villagers now have a use in the game they didn’t really have a use before so being able to like give swamp villagers a use I think it’s Fun I think that’s great that’s that’s really cool um and I a few people are upset because it means they can’t just throw villagers in a hole underneath their base and get every single trade ever which I don’t know I’m very much to the side of it Minecraft gives me more Reasons to go out into the world and do different things I’m here for it I don’t I hate the idea of a megabase I think I I don’t like Mega bases and I always avoid them I sure I build them on like an SMP because that’s kind of the Way it works in smps but in a single player world I don’t think I will ever build a mega base just the idea of everything I built in the world being focused around one point sure sounds kind of cool because I can look at all of it But then I’m Never Gonna Leave I I wanna I wanna go explore the world but I mean that could just be how I play the game that could just be how I do things you you all probably have a different way that you like to play the Game I mean some of you like to do that weird red Stony thing I I don’t know what it does I just follow tutorials on YouTube on how to make Farms and sometimes they work and usually they don’t but you know some people love that and that’s great And I I like the idea that there’s now more things to do inside the world like there’s there’s more things to do even if it’s turning one project that you previously could do just grinding for long enough now into multiple projects I think that’s so healthy for the game long term Malo thank you so much for the 5gf memberships new update encourages exploring which is awesome yeah I think if this was delivered when 1.20 came out I think it would be received a little bit better again I know it’s a 1.20.2 and I’m glad they’re making a big change instead of hotfixes Because that’s that’d be a fun update this is a big update for the course of just doing things in your world Be careful my friend no Can we get an they’re making more diamonds spawn inside your world the fact that that’s a thing and people are upset it’s so funny to me this is it’s only an update that makes the game have more content there’s no lack of content in this up in this snapshot and it’s a it’s a minor update It’s a point two update and they are giving you so many things to do inside this game I love it I think it’s a wonderful update only 10 days left on my membership oh no if you keep hanging out in the Stream your chance of getting a gift membership goes up even more Make a village a valley of the Pharaohs and have a tomb on each for each of your hardcore worlds I have been playing with the idea of bringing in a bringing in like things the big Palace we made in the building of Quip world like way back in the day Like big Redstone Palace for uh inside of Papyrus I’ve been thinking about bringing part of it back in as like a ruin off in the distance and that I’ve decided I’ve decided that the name of the Noose the desert village that we’re building is new papyrus I’ve just I’ve decided that that’s That’s the route I want to go we’re just gonna literally call it new papyrus to kind of I don’t know what that means to the lore of this world if it’s somehow connected lore wise because they would know that old Papyrus exists or original papyrus but I don’t know I’ve Decided that that’s the route I want to take on it I would love to see a building advice stream on how you build scatter like carts oh like how to like make the place feel alive yeah yeah we could do something like that good name yeah yeah I like the name yeah I’m excited for it I think it’s gonna get one I might have to write a lore book now thanks you already got the first one going it’s just round two love Papyrus really excited good to see it have you ever played undertale I never have Do love the soundtrack for it though that’s a Wonderful soundtrack but I’ve never played the game two chokers down chat two shulkers down 10 to go don’t think I would do build commissions now um I just I’ve moved beyond that I like to create what I want to create I don’t want to create what other people are telling me to create working Commissions in Minecraft to build like server spawns For people and things like that was rough that was you all just anytime you’re working client facing and things like that you’re always at the whim of what that person wants and I’m sure a lot of you understand that being like life like School assignments and any everything you have to interpret what The teacher wants you to do for whatever it might be instead of taking it the route that you want to take it um and so for me that was a phase I’ve already done in life I’ve already been there uh I think if I get to a point Where YouTube is no longer something I can do financially maybe I’d get back into it but I I don’t have a need to do that right now and I I like being able to do what I’m doing right now I would prefer to make in order to do Build commissions that would take away so much time in my week that I used to make videos so there’d just be less videos and I prefer to make videos and do my own thing and that’s instead of doing something for me to be paying higher percent understandable yeah I it’s like it was Build commissions is how I paid for textbooks and things like that in college I I used to be World painter and World machine I used to I I’m not as great at it anymore I kind of forgot a lot about it just because it’s been like six years Since I’ve used either I just had like one random stream we did or two a while back but yeah it’s I used to sell server spawn Maps some with or without builds so build teams could come and buy a landscape that I would make and then They would build on top of it and then resell that again later to some server hosts uh but yeah that’s how I paid for textbooks in College that was my textbook and fun money whatever the commission was do whatever you want yeah there’s still always the second you I I Honestly will say the worst clients I’ve ever had was yeah just make a cool Minecraft build yeah can you just make a cool Minecraft train it’d be great they always had something in their brand that they want you to do and they just don’t know how to describe it But whatever you make will not be what they originally wanted you to make and then you get through so many rounds of revisions and things and then the project takes 10 times longer than any other project the second somebody would say that when I was like selling commissions and Things like that I was like nah sorry I’m not interested it’s like unless you can give me a one paragraph description of what you want I’m I’m not interested loving organic build learning stream something like big sand worm in the background yeah I’m so bad with Organics I think if we did a stream like that I would need to get gem or Pearl or somebody involved I need to be like hey I’m trying to do like building School live streams do you want to come hang out for two hours teach teach us how to organic You plan to continue your starter area the city and such and that’s the main thing about coming back to it eventually yes 104 cents that tree I’m fixing it that City we’re finishing it pleased to meet you the only thing that’ll stop that place from expanding and keep moving forwards is if the Series ends now hopefully it does not stick in which I’m throwing the chess piece on uh but the reason why I wanted to take a bit of a break and kind of move over here for a while and just do something else is because I’d been working on that Project I’d been working in those places for a year and a half and I was finding myself building through them being like man I just I’m having a hard time coming up with new and unique ideas of things that I can do and I was like I just Let’s just take a break for a little bit let’s have a reset a mental reset and let the creative brain work on something else think about something else instead of staring at unfinished projects or things I just need to keep expanding on I was like let’s go somewhere blank that I haven’t touched yet at all and just do something new and to me honestly that is one of the best ways to avoid burnout is just being able to acknowledge that yeah if I keep going down this route I probably will be burned out but what can I do that still allows me To continue doing what I love and not feel like I’m not making progress I was like well let’s go do something new something that be a brand new challenge a new just something different that I can do that still helps everything move forward but isn’t directly tied to what I already have Going on I think it’s I think it’s a really important thing so if anybody’s really bored in their Minecraft world this this literally what we’re doing here where we’re leaving the biome leaving the old base behind and basically starting a new one keep your tools keep all that stuff or don’t you Can fully play that way too hardcore I’d recommend keeping your tools um and your your armor and your totem probably but and still be able to go back don’t go so far that you can’t go back to your old place to get materials because then that just becomes a chore But doing something where you can kind of just keep traveling and then if you’re not super far but like you’re far enough to you’re like this is how we play our game do it go for it why not What inspires you I love looking at video game art concept art behind games recently for uh the desert city I’ve been looking at a lot of Assassin’s Creed Origins artwork that’s been really cool to check out and that really hits in on the mark that I’m trying to go for of like that really Lush atmosphere in a desert like when you’re close to the water and you’re nearby it like that’s really cool I’ve also been checking out World some of the zones in World of Warcraft down on like the south end of kalimdor what Is it uh tolovir something like that like south of desolace uh for any fellow wow nerds out there that kind of like River Basin area they have I’ve been looking at a lot of that for inspiration at least on the new build so I think a lot of inspiration for me Right now is things that are not Minecraft I I like to look at things that are Minecraft or ideas on how to make structures look better and little build tips you can pick up like this stuff BDubs has been doing recently with the walls and glass panes I’m not sure how much I’m gonna dive into that yet but it is really cool and also like the way he just kind of added color recently into one of the builds he did he was like you know what this thing is just all about color and I’m just gonna add color to the outside just for fun and I was like that’s kind of cool it brings in more of a fantasy world approach and I think it’s a good way of just having artistic approach to things so that type of content helps me kind of Be Inspired being like Oh yeah no it is okay to randomly just throw in color just for fun why not what’s the worst that could happen you tested out in Creative you don’t like you take it away huh hey Liz how you doing Lawrence decided if I want to put them in the new box the new place or if I want to keep going back to the old I feel like my world’s just Repeat the same four biomes over and over I can only blame but I honestly I don’t know anything about bad Rock World Jen if it’s weird but in Minecraft like you gotta every biome exists in a world if you just keep walking in a straight straight line long enough you’ll find it But also Minecraft recently uh put a change out a few updates back for World Generation and similar temperature biomes will generate nearby each other so we’re in a warm desert here there’s a savannah over there there’s a mangrove swamp because these are all considered warm biomes And then if we find an ocean nearby this there’s likely a warm ocean or a lukewarm ocean and then from that you can it’ll go Any Which Way But if you’re in a snowy biome you’re likely to find like frozen oceans or snowy Tigers will always be next to Like a snowy plains biome or frosted Peaks or whatever or these warm biomes right here if you want to find the calcite Mountain you’re gonna have to be in one of these bombs to find that type of stuff so if you’re trying to scope out certain biomes and find specific Ones you gotta kind of figure out what temperature that biome is and then you’ll find stuff eventually exploring around those you’ll probably find what you’re looking for Bedrock world can have bugs where they repeat Forest tree formations generate so it is worse on Bedrock yeah see I I’m A Java player I don’t know much about I know the general concept of Bedrock yeah it’s also Minecraft but when you get down to the nitty-gritty of like the specifics and limitations and blah blah I don’t know anything about that so unfortunately I do not have the ability to answer those questions But the question I can’t answer what’s your favorite color I love purple I think like a dark purple is such a cool color and yes I know that all my channel branding is orange and light blue light blue just looked better with orange I tried it with purple it’s too Dark I wanted something that was going to pop out but if anybody played Warcraft 3 yeah we’re going back there that’s an what I’m mining how many real years is that a long time he has like yeah 30 000 Minecraft days he’s at like 29 200 right now I think I saw yesterday but remember we cannot talk about world records there and I kind of keep the hot bar like that that’s like this is my typical hot bar um and it really just depends if I have The bow in there or not I feel like a bow is nice to have but I don’t think I need it to like essentially keep me alive I think a sword and a chess piece is more than enough to keep me going uh I don’t know too much about one but At all like I’ve seen a few of his fun to do more fantasy races I’ll be honest I’m kind of leaning Towards a little like Hobbit settlement at some point maybe for one of the villages we have to make we could do that the problem with Hobbit settlements is they’re really difficult to get a good thumbnail for because it just it’s one that looks great when you’re walking around inside Of it but for a thumbnail it just looks like a green hill no matter what you do it just looks like a bunch of Green Hills that’s where my tools are on the right side yeah I just I don’t understand it that’s the type of chaotic energy that I Can’t get behind but like I’m here for you going for it like pop off do it Hobbit settlement and the Cherry Blossom Bottom because of the light green color yeah I’m kind of leaning towards um Hobbit would be fun I’m very excited for the desert one that we’re working on Because that’ll be really really cool to do uh and then outside of that uh what was I gonna say I don’t I want I people have been talking about doing Elven something or another that seems like it could be pretty cool uh no the snow elves are not Gonna make a return I also think a snow base like a snow village especially now that that’ll have like villager trades locked behind it kind of gives a reason to build on the snow so that could be fun for a challenge building on the snow I don’t like because you get snow layers Everywhere so you gotta like you have to string or slab everything to prevent all your Pathways and whatnot being covered by snow or you have to put torches everywhere and then it looks always like you have the circular lights where the snow melted do dwarves the kind of the original villager trading Place I have in this world is all based around being kind of like a Dwarven architecture I’ve also thought about I’ve had a few people comment on saying we should build a mini gobland in here or like a mini grimlands which I’ve thought could be kind of fun something along that line to Kind of incorporate the other worlds that we’ve done but I also don’t want to just like repeat build ideas so it’d have to be like an element of like a ruin somewhere in it yeah uh Walter we have absolutely no plans for that trip quite yet other than a Potential maybe might happen so is it really twenty thousand dollars to pop a totem yeah no but if you’re spamming and chat at me um to uh Papa totem and then you’re just that’s all you’re saying um I’m gonna say something absurd back no there’s there’s no amount of money Somebody can donate to me that will get me to either pop a totem or kill myself been a grumpy dog He I love him to death but he’s always been my my grumpy dude and always little Moody and we’ve realized like like month or two ago now um he started having all these crazy stomach problems it was just like uncomfortable constantly and so we ended up getting him on a Probiotic which at first he hated because I have to give him a pill every day and him being grumpy dog was like I don’t want to take a pill every day like blah blah blah and he wouldn’t eat it at all because he’s super picky and so After like now we’re about a month and a half into doing it and not only is all of his stomach pain gone but he is the happiest dog ever and I’m like oh this is so great but then we were thinking about it we’re like that means all these years that he’s Just been a grumpy dog is because his stomach hurt like the only reason Cod has been grumpy for the last three four years because he was fine as a puppy and then when he got kind of adolescent he got a little bit more grumpy and was like It was just like that means you’ve just been dealing with four years of stomach pain I’m so sorry buddy like I’m glad you’re happy now I was like no oh yeah I was a little sad but he’s doing he’s doing much better now he’s a lot he’s happy now he’s like he’s all Like I want to go do stuff let’s go have fun let’s see he’s like playing he wants people to pet him I’m like oh before he do enough interesting things the Vlog would be yes I woke up and uh garlic beer star war against Minecraft Project and uh yeah now oh yeah no I was okay so I decided to take a break now and take the dogs on a walk and then um made this for lunch and uh yeah now just back working on The Minecraft Project you know what I think I’m gonna take a Break now and just go play some other games for a little bit and give myself a little bit of a mental reset and uh yeah I have a really interesting life over here no I I don’t know I I people who Vlog and everything like that I think is like yes it’s a skill it’s a skill that I have not spent time to learn or cultivate well yet but I don’t know who knows maybe one day never seen ever more interesting than my life I don’t know man I sit at my computer Played Minecraft for eight hours a day yeah more like 10 hours a day probably especially when I pick a stupid project like this one I will say one thing that I’ve been trying to encapsulate more inside my Minecraft videos because vlogging is very much like that form of content is So popular and so Evergreen like there’s a vlog of just what people are up to and what they’re doing that will always be interesting to somebody if you have an audience people are very much going to be interested in a vlog and what’s going on in your life and I’ve tried to move a lot of my Minecraft videos almost into being like a vlog of you just here’s what I’m working on in Minecraft instead of sure I have a lot of like live Clips as it’s going but a lot of the inspiration on how I structure videos now Is I kind of treat it like a vlog of here’s what I went through the entire process of making this like this is I’m trying to include a lot more clips and videos of just me being me and not like over engineering it and like over going crazy on it But yeah so that’s kind of something I’ve realized recently like as a benefit of like Vlogs just being a thing and I I think it’s shown in the last few videos and especially the last hardcore video I really tried doing that I also tried being very over descriptive And really kind of linking things in for newer viewers on the last one for when I would be like picking up projects or like where we were at beforehand um and kind of anytime I visit an old project I’m trying to actually like call out what the thing is like going to the Weather skeleton farm and stuff just being like I went out to my experience farm and got all these levels they’ll be like and so I went into the nether where I have this and I got all the levels that I had out here and blah blah blah So I I think it’s nice hey Joel how you doing welcome on in it’s more personal so it’s nice yeah I think so I think it’s I think it’ll help kind of make them stand out as being a little bit more uniquely a flip video than not And I might lose some people who are here for the super crazy hyper blah blahs but I think that’s okay and I think I’ve been doing that style for like two years now and I think it’s okay to tone it back a touch and get something that’s more like a me I definitely tried going really for that meta Minecraft video for a while I got some crazy growth out of it but it’s like I want to make videos that more show off the world and like show off what I’m doing instead of just like here’s our 30 second cinematic at the End goodbye I think I don’t know I feel like I could I think I think I have more to offer than that now that those videos are bad and people can spend a month on a video if they want to but I don’t know that’s that’s not cool I love hearing what y’all are up to and what’s going on in your Lives that’s fun um but the idea of receiving things to me is just a little off-putting Give some Minecraft tips um don’t let bunnies on top of tall things and um they also have sick dance moves look at them look at them look at those look at those bunnies dancing away hardcore tips uh uh if you’re not flying put your chest piece on If you’re in the end Dimension always wear your elytra uh um always have your totem equipped and last tip you get for Hardcore Minecraft would be Always have an ender chest with supplies you need inside of it a flint and steel uh probably a stack of obsidian and every single pool and some generic building blocks some food and some rockets that is the way to be able to get out of situations because I think one of the Most common posts on the Minecraft subreddit right now is I’m stuck on the roof of the nether in my hardcore World these are the items I have can somebody help how do I get down or is my world gone if you had a flint and steel in the Stack of obsidian and an Ender chassis occurred with you wouldn’t be a problem but sure Farm your Reddit Karma get it get that worst worthless Karma yeah uh if somebody asks you to pop a totem in your hardcore World make sure they’re giving you at least 20 000 U.S Please tell Joel to get a totem in his hardcore well yeah that man if you survived a thousand days without totem I saw he streamed earlier this week and I was so expecting him to die because he’d be reading Chad and not paying attention I wasn’t able to catch the stream I was As soon as he started I was jumped into a workout so I was doing my own thing shovel’s in bad condition I mean technically it’s got 172 on it but we will trade it how do you get stuck on the nether roof usually people teleport themselves up There and then they uh forget the materials to get themselves back down or they only go up there with like five TNT and five Pistons to try and build a Bedrock Breaker and it fails the first few times because they get the timing off and then they’re like I didn’t expect that to fail it only has a 40 success success chance and you’re telling me I’ve failed every time yes yes that is possible or they followed some YouTube clickbait uh fake nether uh ancient debris not not blah blah blah blah Bedrock breaking Method that a lot of people put out and use or they’ll follow one that worked out an old version and got passion doesn’t work anymore it’s usually one of the above go to your base Veronica you just gotta keep giving commands today my Minecrafting and I love Being here and I am if I’m in the mood where I just want to like constantly grind and work on projects in here I I want to be able to have the freedom to do that do you play all Assassin’s Creeds honestly I haven’t I played Assassin’s Creed uh which one did I play um Odyssey and before that I hadn’t played one since Assassin’s Creed 3 probably it was fun though I had a really good time with it they used to me Assassin’s Creed is one of those games that like I enjoy But I can only play for so long they’re fun and I mostly just enjoy exploring the world and seeing what’s going in there and after a while the combat does get a little boring for me I’m just not a huge fan of like stealth games Uh Aussie thank you so much for the 11 months and we got Charlotte with the 16 months uh Aussie Aussie actually at the tier two uh here’s an order for chat like the stream and have a wonderful day especially if they have a wonderful day point colossal Hobbit with the 11 months One more month to go for the big old tree who would have thunk oh man was that thunk in there like a thunk thunk on a tree too or was that an accidental who would have trunk Odyssey was fun I had a lot of I really enjoyed it until I was like to the Olympics point like where you have to go and sail all the way over there and do all that I just felt like I was like finishing off a chore list and I lost a lot of Inspiration to like the desire to play very quickly diminished and I literally had to be like I know I’m close to finishing the game I know if I just do the main story I can finish the game and be done and that literally is what got Me through it I was like I want to finish it just to like see where the story goes and see which of the endings I got and then as soon as uh I was just like all right I’m just only going on the main quest but when I was like trying to Flip all the zones and do all that and like do all the objectives I very quickly was like it just felt like so much and it all felt very like the same after a while it’s fun I had a good time playing it for like the first granted I will say as much as I’m like man I got bored I still played like 50 hours of the game I gotta walk about a mile tomorrow to pick up a Zelda game and I’m so excited look at you exercising before video game time enjoy is that breath of the wild too Tears of a kingdom whatever that it’s called ever finished honestly because that yeah I I also own Origins but I still have yet to install it because I finished Odyssey and I was like oh I love Odyssey it’s great let me buy Origins too it’s On sale right now and then as soon as I finish Odyssey I was like you know no I’m kind of the same with Jedi Survivor too I need to finish that I I’m I’m like 20 hours into it 30 hours and 20 probably 20. so I have to be getting Pretty close because I remember the first one was like 20 22 hours of gameplay so and at this point I’ve unlocked so many different things I think I’m getting close I heard that I mean yeah I I enjoyed Majora’s Mask and I also enjoyed the game boy ones but I haven’t Enjoyed any of the Zelda games stats and I know Majora’s Mask like isn’t even one that like people were really in love with but I just thought that world was so cool and unique for a video game sure the little like saves coming you Had to do to make it so that you didn’t lose every once in a while was a little annoying but like I remember as a kid just having so much fun with it Origins is a lot quicker than Odyssey if I remember okay have you played Albion online if you Look at it actually I think the videos unlisted now I played Albion online um when it originally launched I actually tried doing a YouTube series on it I got like three or four episodes of Zen and I was like people only watch me for Minecraft I’m not doing this I kept Playing the game for a good while until I got maxed out until you had to go into the PVP zones and there’s just too many people out there that were like waiting for you to leave the city and if you weren’t in one of the main big guilds on The server I was on you you couldn’t play end game because you would leave a City without like all your guild mates and there would be a band of people there waiting to kill you I think it’s got in a big update since then because they realized that the player get base Originally was like so catered towards if you put the hours in quickly you could control the game uh Tiffany thank you so much for the Dono just made homemade pizza I’m so excited to watch ooh nice we tried making a um uh so I I don’t do dairy so I do like a Vegan pizza but we uh actually I didn’t make it as a pizza we ended up doing it as a pasta instead but we did like a avocado pesto it was really it was really good like an avocado like in the pesto it was really yummy different I I had never thought of Trying an avocado pesto but I saw the recipe I was like oh this could be interesting you like Skyrim I loved Skyrim I don’t think I would pick up Skyrim again though but I had a lot of fun with Skyrim when it came out and I think I had like 250 Hours played in it and I absolutely loved it you can you bet whenever the new Elder Scrolls comes out I will be living in that probably because I’ll be in a retirement home already and we’ll have nothing else to do but like I’ll be there hopefully hopefully oh it’ll still be kicking when Elder Scrolls 6 comes out uh but like I’m gonna play it I’m a throw a few hundred hours at that thing I think avocados are overrated eggs how could you avocado like a good fresh avocado is so good oh my gosh I honestly didn’t like him too much and Now it’s definitely been one that has grown on me so much that I’m just like yeah I’ll spend the extra dollar on Avocado sure just how the US makes cheese and like the food standards here because when we were in Italy for a honeymoon I was able to eat so many things like I was able to because the language barrier obviously I don’t speak Italian uh and I would try an order and they Would try and understand what I was saying and I wasn’t able to see on the menu that there was cheese in a dish or something like that or sometimes it didn’t even say when we were in like a little small small village they’re just like here’s your pasta type and you pick The meat that goes with it it was always delicious it’s not the best pasta ever um but so many times it would come out in just like a crazy like white sauce so much Dairy and everything and I was like well here we go don’t want to be in the weird tourist That says I can’t eat this so um we’re just gonna ride and see what happens and I had zero issues the entire time there do you do voiceovers for your videos you’re actually talking game during recording both usually if it’s like a montage segment uh we’ll either take the voice line that Happened at the start and kind of stretch it out so it looks like there’s a little bit more action happening or it’ll be like a recorded after the fact depends on what’s going to fit The Narrative of the story the best use lactate at all yeah it’s not a perfect fix it helps But it’s not a perfect fix how many deserts is destroyed this is like three dozens probably so we need to fill this inventory and then we’re all done I’ll let that one read it out drunk thanks so much for the donuts any tips you have for when you start a New world how do you find motivation Etc I find it hard after having played the game for so long would love your thoughts on this for me a big part of starting a world is just I love the blank slate of it um but I also would say that I think one Thing that a lot of people do is I know that I think they finished their projects in their main world and then they jump into a new world do the same thing and expect a different result and just kind of be like no new world I’ll definitely keep it going for longer Where they’ll be like you’ll hit the 200-day marker and you’re like all right my base is kind of done it’s just kind of grindy to finish off the rest of it and like I have all my setup I got my netherride I got my wither kills dragon elytra blah blah Like every box that I had is checked and then you’re like okay I’m done like that’s that’s it like I feel like I’m done now um and that’s fine like that’s a that’s a decent way to do it um but I I think that kind of creates a Cycle of burnout and a cycle of lack of motivation so what I kind of recommend typically is instead of like resetting the world if you are starting a fresh new world for sure I’ll get into that SEC but if you’re feeling like you’re getting to the point where you’re like pretty far Into a world and you’re like oh I don’t know what to do I run out of ideas let’s start over and it’ll be better next time maybe I’ll get a better terrain or something maybe the seat will have more inspiration I’ll be able to find I want to do hipster Name by you on community server uh yeah thank you so much for the on burnout and whatnot finding motivation I think for a new world starting a like here’s all the projects I have here’s everything that I want to do and kind of labeling that out of being like okay this is the goal That’s great let’s do all these things that’s a good way to start and then kind of the way to keep it going don’t want to leave that behind would be finding new projects or kind of what I’m doing here in this world right now is where I Really started feeling like I could feel that burnout creeping in and I was like well maybe we just go start a new project maybe just go do something new did it go black for 10 seconds I kind of had a weird little stutter there um I think on my side Minecraft be weird But kind of what I did here was just starting in a new Zone actually you know what I’m just gonna re-log real quick to allow the replay footage to save and that helped a ton which just going about that route um but also it’s one of those things where Like if you really want to play the game maybe finding a new way of playing the game or trying to identify what the problem is for why you’re not enjoying it maybe um I Heard uh Joel and pictures um talking on the spawn chunks podcast I Was listening to it yesterday when I was driving and they’re talking about how like the desire for Perfection can actually make the game not be fun and how sometimes people restart worlds because they’re like it’s not perfect blah blah I wanted this to be perfect why isn’t This perfect and then they’re like man I’m gonna restart I’ll do it better next time um oh that’s wrong button so I think that can help a lot is just kind of helping figuring out and identifying like where you’re getting bored maybe you’re like well I just this Like maybe you want to do more Redstone projects or maybe you only do redstone projects or maybe you don’t at all and you need something new and fresh and different for the game heck even this new snapshot that came out today maybe that’s what you focus on When 1.20.2 Comes live you try and build a village in every single one of the biomes so you can get all the different Librarians and you have a different library and every single one of them and that’s like six or seven projects right there because there’s the seven Different villager types and you put them all in different biomes and do all that and you’re you’re set um so I think that could help a lot hopefully that’s kind of gives you some ideas but I think starting a build project and doing that is great and there definitely Is a point in most build projects where you’re like man I don’t want to do this at all and it’s valid we’ve all been there um when you’re like okay I have I usually find myself I get to the point where I’m like I have the idea down Everything is there for what I want this to look like in the end now I just have to go through the many many hours of just placing down the blocks and getting an end game and that to me is where I kind of start to get a little bored of Minecraft is Where I’m just like I’m in my brain I already know what it’s going to look like I already know what it’s going to be in there and I’m like uh now I I think what I have is this is overriding it render Overworld fog nether fog you need to go like all the way actually no that’s fine yeah this is overriding it uh uh adjusts when the train fog begins to render near the player so if I change that down ah wait That looks really nice ah look at that oh that gives so much more perspective in here so if we adjust what was that if we take that all the way up it pushes it super far back we bring it all the way down oh my gosh that makes them feel so far away Wow Wow Let’s go to Lake let’s go 50. I do like having because that gives a little of the atmospheric in it now do shaders these don’t change shaders shaders have their own settings inside them what’s your sim distance remember I have a really beefy computer So you should not be I play at 20 trunks Sim distance Shadow distance about the same I might bump that up a little I’ve got on so many performance mods in here now that it really helps because this goes controls how far away train could potentially be rendered in a shadow pass Lower distances mean the train less terrain will be rendered improving frame rates this could not be wet grass along the edge and then we also mix in a little bit of our moss in here um so that it can feel just A little different and getting those Lush Vibes in and then I throw in a little bit of the rooted dirt like this and behind the rooted dirt we quickly fade into our regular dirt and just kind of moss in between that as if the grass isn’t able to grow quite everywhere you know So we can do something like that and I want this to be like a smaller little section that tiny boats could get through but then the main way the river is going to go is like swooping around there up into the jungle and back around How many totems do you have I have so many totems in this world we have a raid Farm we I I’m never gonna be hurting for more totems now if I have that in my inventory when I need them that is a different question that I am not the greatest at doing I Usually keep one on me and I have like one spare in my under chest is kind of my typical oh I shouldn’t be using that uh oh just whatever it’s fine I’m gonna put some more moss in here this this is gonna be like a really Lush island in the middle You missed sand go yoink yeah we’ve we’ve had a lot of sand we’ve done a lot main base is in a Mesa biome I Now understand why he has taken so long to transform the Mesa biome as I am trying to do it in a week not my smartest move I will own that right now my smartest move update that they added in I just kind of felt like I had my stardew time stardew Valley honestly got us through the first few months of covet lockdown like that is That is not lying at all Sid and I uh back when like you’re like oh my gosh I shouldn’t walk outside um at least when we were like that uh we very much were just like curled up playing stardew Valley constantly it became our like every night just open A bottle of wine and uh hang out and play stardew Valley for a few hours we put like 150 hours into a farm and Sid’s not really much of a video game player either so I was surprised we played so much what do you do if Minecraft never existed I don’t know I don’t like to think about that I’m happy here I I love that I gotta be creative every day and uh just enjoy making things and sharing it with people I always wanted to get into the video game industry somehow it just depends on How I was gonna figure out how to do it and uh Minecraft turned into an excellent way for me to do that I think if I wasn’t doing this I probably honestly right before YouTube started taking off for me I was talking with a college up here in Seattle about going Back to school and getting a second degree in a video game art like art design and concept arting and things like that and uh I I was close I was like weighing in the option of like how much I would have to take out and Loans be able to do it and What that would look like for doing that and working a full-time job and blah blah blah blah and then thankfully it was too expensive so I didn’t do it and I said you know what YouTube’s making like a hundred dollars a month right now and I don’t want to stop that and maybe It’ll go somewhere who knows and um look at us now is your text back support Bedrock no I make my texture pack for Java Edition uh it’s not out of any ill will towards Bedrock players or anything like that but it’s one of those where I don’t play on bedrock And I don’t that looks so good with the fog I’m so happy we changed that so I I it’s not out of any ill will or anything it’s literally out of I don’t have the hours in the day to guarantee everything I make works on every single version of Minecraft in a bunch of regular sand into a Mesa and completely transform the Mesa and everything and I was like I really like that project that is really cool I want to do something like that one day so that’s kind of where it started for this one But a lot of that and a lot of just kind of life and things I don’t know red sand I know technically exists in the world but I think in terms of minecrafty it’s just so vibrant that I it’s not my favorite it’s not my favorite block to look at So and I’ve always wanted to make something work in a Mesa so I was like what what can I do well I could tear it all out that would make it work I could make a Mesa work if there’s no red sand in there it could be better Do you have a gold Farm yes we have a fully set up nether Hub there’s a video on the channel it’s a little older now because it’s about a year and something old um but I built a massive nether Hub and we’ve got like every Farm you could need In the nether in there even a hogland farm that was a fun one I would love to expand another hub I’ve got an idea for expanding at the end and making that more something impressive than what it is right now but I haven’t figured out what route I want don’t know how to make these large Rune stones that are just floating out there that are gonna have Minecraft enchanting language it’s like you know when you look in the Enchanting table I want to figure out and decipher that language to figure out this string that is for like Unbreaking so I want to have runestones that that go around saying Unbreaking and then we’ll probably if that doesn’t get us all the way around in the big circle uh for Where I want the runestones I want to then transfer into like another Enchanted word of like probably like silk touch or fortune or whatever it’d be something that would be cool whatever like ones look cool so we can kind of spell out an enchanting sequence of like Maybe one of our tools like Unbreaking three mending we could like have that written out there in the end and I think something like that could be really fun to do yeah it’s gonna be a big project though that would be a big boy uh getting out there and building all those Runestones and I thought lighting up the Rune Stones the text on them I see it a lot of um people doing it more recently on these like cyber Punky builds and things and I actually saw the where I saw it first I think was Dallas he did it in his Bedrock Survival Series where he basically wrote a sign and then on top of the sign he put in front of it he put end rods to like shape the letters and make them glow and I was like that could be really cool on runestones like floating around the end is we make the Lettering completely out of our um foreign like end rods so we have like this little forward lit and we make it out of like a cooled color behind it or something we could put in some colored concretes or things to make it a little bit more vibrant against the end Landscape and something like that I thought could be really fun anyways on this island here I don’t want it to be super Sandy but I was thinking we could come down the middle just a touch to like here and build out just a little bit and then Most of this we’re gonna surround with the we only have 54 rooted dirt left in total yeah that’s that’s all the root of dirt I have and this looks much better than regular dirt in here because it kind of has those little lighter colors the Little I know it’s a little pinky but it kind of that’s that’s a little on the pinkier side than this yeah I swear colorblind if not I have an excuse uh but then we kind of surround this here so we have like the lushness down there And then it comes up into the Moss and then that Moss Fades a little bit further into the lushness that like away from the lushness as we could approach those desert bits so what’s a crafting recipe you think should be in the game that isn’t uh Um the ability to craft slabs back into full blocks the one I’m sticking with that’s my that’s my choice today you can stack two slabs together it makes a full block why can’t I just smash them back together too tell me tell me what’s the reason I think that those types of recipes I don’t want to be able to uncraft stairs like don’t get me wrong uncrafting a stair feels wrong like that thing was cut but I think we could smash some slabs back together just for inventory Management’s sake I swear I always have Like two slabs left over I’m colorblind as well but I hate because I get lots of people going what color is that anytime people ask me that I just say pink and yeah anytime people ask me that I just say pink and then they’re like no you dummies I’m just like well Let’s make fun of somebody for something they can’t change about themselves wow who feels like a great person now and then they’re like oh wow yeah okay I see yeah I’m like yeah you’re the rude one it really doesn’t happen that much though sure a few times when mean you could rewind the stream if you wanted but we did start about two hours ago So it’s up to you if you think you’re late or not honestly you maybe arrived precisely when you meant to you could be a wizard just refuse to answer I just love saying that something that’s totally wrong I think that’s make this a little steeper in here so It’s just gonna kind of Step Up all right there oh that’s oh we had a mistake that needs to be you fixed it everything’s fine now it’s kind of randomly placing some down we’re gonna have a big dirt section I’m trying to make sure that there’s Variety In it so I know there’s like this theme here where we’re going from grass to Moss into dirtsin up but I want to have sections that are much more Mossy than also sections that are much more dirty and just a variety to it just for the sake of it because otherwise it’s gonna Look really repetitive and boring so I’m trying to make sure like it’s terraforming here’s your tip for the terraforming day make sure oh geez oh Jesus spider and no spiders if you are terraforming and making things working in terms of blobs instead of noise is so much better it’ll look so much better How long do you think you’re going to survive in this world hopefully for a very long time because I’m having fun we we are on day 4535 now so yeah it’s been a grind getting the video going has been we ever build in the jungle now that we I was planning to and now that we have that news for 1.20 Point 1.20.2 not 1.22 uh I think I’m gonna hold it for that release once all the mods get updated and everything for there I think we’re gonna jump into the jungle and do some do some yeah Have some fun in the jungle make a village could you imagine like a village hidden back in here like back along that Hillside or something honestly I don’t think I’ve looked at that terrain much up there I have no idea what it looks like by the way Side note just a little a little question here are there any tall grass farms in Minecraft just like asking for a friend are there any farms that specifically you can use for tall grass or are there any biomes that exist in Minecraft that when bone milled only produce tall grass the dirt it’ll cover everything out here and I don’t want to spread this so I’m thinking where we have this dip down in here just for some fun we could bring in A lot of our grass and make sure it’s not touching any of the dirt but I thought for this we could kind of have like a streak of the grass coming all the way through nope that’ll that was red maybe we do this and then we can kind of do a little poop Kind of as if this is like a lower region so when it floods it does get some extra moisture I’ve also decided I’m not even gonna bother with this lower section like underneath here inside the river itself like this I just I maybe we’ll tackle it In the future but for the sake of time and getting this video done I was like I don’t think I can I actually don’t think I could do the entire River underneath too so I made an executive decision to spare myself this way you can have a video next week because once New Life comes out tomorrow there will be no more videos on the channel until this thing is done and it’s a big boy we’re gonna be streaming we’re gonna stream on Friday we’ll stream on probably Monday and Wednesday next week and then uh we’ll just kind of vibe from there see what happens Whatever happens happens This Grass color is underrated this green yeah I think it it’s kind of it is very brown but I I so I think it works decently well I think they would look bad if it was everywhere but using it with the Moss And making it work as like more of a wet grass color I think that’s what helps sausage actually gave me the idea gotta give credit where credit is due do you plan on restarting your community Minecraft server if yes then when we typically don’t restart that server unless there’s something game breaking Coming out or changing that warrants are reset like when the new terrain generation came out we did reset um but we’re not playing to right now however we do expand the world border with every single update so we did just update the community server for tier 2 members To 1.20 this last week so it is very fresh in there and we expanded the world border another 5 000 blocks I believe to get access to all of the new things so if you are looking for a place and you want to join a very cool building server We’re actually for everybody who is a tier 2 member tomorrow uh an hour earlier from now we’re going to be doing a tour around the server we’ve had a little not a contest but a nomination happened recently where we had everybody go through or whoever wanted to could go through and nominate Their friends builds for part of a competition that was gonna be like judged and kind of see whose build we like the most and then you got some diamond blocks as a reward or some stuff like that um yeah so we’re doing that tomorrow and we’re honestly we’re all just gonna jump On in a Discord call I’ll be there and we’re just gonna walk around and talk about everybody’s Minecraft faces I’m excited I haven’t been on the server for a long time no I’m not going to stream it I I literally just want to hang on the Discord call with everybody on the Server and walk around and chat about what y’all been building in Minecraft so uh there’s a note in Discord if you are a tier two member and you want to see it um the only thing we’re going to ask is for people who are in the call if you’re Not part of the tour to mute your microphone so it’s not too chaotic because I’m sure a lot of people want to be in there but I definitely want to jump in early and just hang and chat with people for a while so we’ll do as much of that as we can It should be fun though 2K likes we did it wow also we’ve had over 2 000 viewers this entire stream I really appreciate that that sounds so fun yeah we’re gonna do it tomorrow we’re just gonna be hanging my I I have like two and a half hours Blocked off on my calendar I’m just gonna be wandering around the Minecraft server and seeing what everybody’s got going on I’m very excited for it that’s not too often that I actually gotta like walk around with people and like talk about their Minecraft bills it’s it’s something I wish was easier to do And I had the ability to make more time for it but it’s so I’m trying to be more on top of I’m trying to be more aware of it and like spend more time because I love seeing what y’all are up to y’all have some of the coolest builds So it’ll be fun it’ll be really cool to check it all out I will get flipped to buy egg stocks uh eggs I have no money on the server actually so I uh can I have a freebie I still have my little house of this and use bone meal then Shear The Tall Grass Yeah that’s my plan because I can’t bone meal on top of the Moss because it spreads the Moss I wish there’s a way to just bone meal it that’ll grow uh sure let’s go sleepies look at this we almost got this whole island on oh we missed a spot What are we doing today uh we have been we gathered sand for like two hours hour and a half uh we filled 12 shulker boxes of sand which was great so fun all of these and then we talked about the new snapshot news which is very exciting stuff so excited very very pumped And then outside of that we’ve been working on this little Island out here that’s gonna look so cute especially I’m gonna come back in and like do all the like we’re just getting the currently there’s gonna be more on top of these I’m doing well I just need To you know get out here and get the stuff apparently doing some terrible around we’re gonna do them hey awesome glad to hear it don’t need gravel no gravel let’s do that and then we can kind of just do a little bit more up here I definitely I’m gonna have to go get More rooted dirt I still have that entire Edge from here well it’s cheaty we’re cheating he’s hacking but yeah so I still have all of that left to do down to there and then I have this whole side which I think I’m gonna end at where that desert section Starts and we’re gonna bring that around here so I definitely need more root of dirt because I kind of started to there last night I was like I tried watching Marvel secret invasion I don’t know how I feel about it I’m just gonna throw that out there I am Like a sucker for a Cheesy superhero movie like I will sit through most cheesy superhero movies and be entertained and have a good time watching them and y’all I can’t get into secret Invasion I did the first two episodes last night I was like I don’t know guys Series was good finale was bad okay I’ll give it another dirt so probably what’s new snapshot uh go to the start of the stream you Series that’s that’s where I hide knowledge starts and stuff I’m more in it for like the the organizations and all that and how they like manage it like the the amount of stuff that happens in that sport and the amount of money involved with it And how that all functions that to me is super interesting have you seen the Barbie movie yet no we haven’t yeah the just the chaos that is the money scene in F1 to me just the fact that they’re growing millions and millions of dollars on this sport every Week I’m just like and they’re like oh man we crashed and you’re like okay how much did that thing cost that is oh wow yeah I haven’t seen the new spider verse or the new Guardians of the Galaxy those two I wanted to see and I missed out on Them I really want to go see spider verse I even got Sid to watch the first one so she could be in the know for the second one and then we just never win uh Hewitt thanks so much for coming to tutu member I feel like I said that Completely wrong but I do appreciate you being here thank you do we put sand over here or no should we put a little sand in here I’m kind of leaning towards no because that goes right into that maybe we could do like a to make it substantial enough that it doesn’t just look dumb we can do something a little like this That could work because I still want this to feel like the Mesa like deserty bits all over the place I’m just I don’t know it’s not really an AMC kit anymore it hits different when you’re looking at how gross things are It’s in Disney in the US oh thank you there’s a new Star Wars movie coming in August keep an eye out which one is this movie what’s Star Wars movies coming out I only go to the bougie ones with the recliners oh even with that though like Because a lot of them will have the recliners where you like have to reserve your seat now and things at least in the Seattle area and most of those are fine and then I just feel like I sit in the seat I’m like this just feels gross like the the I don’t know Loki season two okay Loki was season one was so good I loved that I am very down for season two I saw that recently I was like yes a police will you watch the next tour Story five in 2023 probably I don’t think I saw four We weren’t really a big Toy Story family growing up I will say that there we go nice Ahsoka show dude Ahsoka is my favorite character in Star Wars God I hope they do or Justice I will say I’m equally worried as I am excited because Ahsoka is by far my Favorite Star Wars character especially from the Clone Wars and how they’re bringing back like thrawn inventory if you all download the world you saw that too this is where we were this is where it all started you see how much taller this is and how there’s no there’s no actual river through here And also how much taller that is compared to where we are now and this and all of that and I got that coming all the way down like from what you’re looking at now in the final copy it doesn’t look too like like I’ve done too much and then you’re Just like you come back here and you’re like oh that’s where it came from minus you know the 56 000 red sand we had to take out but like pill though brought that down yeah so we go from that back into the real one to where we now have River you can see The where this is only one block under water that’s where that entire Mountain was I actually want to look at this I haven’t looked at the stat for this yet time’s mine oh my So this is an orange terracotta Mesa if you didn’t know Mesa sometimes have regular terracotta as their main or orange hair cutter is their main more recently it’s a lot of orange terracotta most I’ve to be used we used 1 800 Orange terracotta in total I’ve now mined almost 25 000 orange terracotta And 56 000 red sand and pretty close oh we’ve almost picked up 200 000 samples look at that that’s a lot of stuff but it’s given this view which I am loving this is so good I can’t I can’t wait I saved all the orange terracotta too so I’ve got any ideas on what we can do with it let me know there’s a lot of things in here I need to go through and edit now a boy fit all right my friends thank you all so very much
