New Modded Minecraft Skyblock EP1 All The Mods 7 To The Sky

Hey guys and welcome back this is chosen architect and today we’re diving into all the mods seven to the sky oh boy i hope you guys are ready these videos take a long time to make and trust me i spend a ton of time making them so if you would click that

Subscribe button i’d really appreciate it so here we are it’s a sky block just like any sky block we start off well with extra xnahilo according to the quest book if you open the quest book um you can go ahead and access it well here or i set a hotkey to z

Um you can go ahead and access and jump right into all the mod 7 now in the sky or to the sky which is a sequel to all the mod 6 to the sky which i did do and complete which was absolutely awesome so this should be

Just as fun now getting started we have our main quest line and just like i said it is x and high hilo all the way like look at all these quests making all the stuff but there are some starter quests that i definitely want to complete right from the start because

This is going to get us started so let’s check mark this and it says for those who want a fast track to the start uh to get an easy mode start you can complete this quest uh optional for progress so in theory i guess we could take all these things or

We can do it the extra hilo way it really doesn’t matter i think uh i’ll probably do the extra high-low way to kind of show you how to do the extra hilaway um but over here talking about ran out of saplings well you can get some emergency saplings from the top

Right of the quest menu so we should have uh that’s our collect rewards there i can actually go ahead and toss these i’ll show you here in a minute but right here you can actually get saplings just in case we break this tree and it doesn’t drop saplings ah so should we go

Ahead and dump these things i’m going to go ahead and dump them i did complete the quest there and we got a quest book but i don’t want them i actually want to find my own way of getting lava uh it is going to make things a little bit longer

All right so first things first i’m going to stand on this very corner right here i’m going to hit the button that is under my grave key i get asked this question a lot a lot it is how do you use vein miner or excavator or in this case ftb ultimine um well

It is the grave key right under the escape key i’m gonna hit that button and now i can actually break all these blocks and if i do that instead of breaking the leaves i get some saplings great now can we twerk oh we can twerk and look i have another

Tree so i can keep repeating this process until we have a nice bundle of wood and as you can see we have this nice big platform here which is uh pretty handy now another thing i’m gonna go ahead and break all this grass because that is going to grant me

Some seeds right off the bat some nice early seeds which are gonna be super handy i think this is industrial hemp which should get us some nice stuff thermal cultivation stuff i’m not worried about um and then there’s occultism in here so we have demon dream seeds i’m not gonna

Plant those just yet but i will go ahead and plant the rest of my hemp now i don’t think we can grow these by crouching can’t grow these fast so those are just have to take time but now we have a nice large area to plant a bunch of saplings

And these will grow fast and provide us a ton of wood getting started getting started i want to make a little storage system that uh that we should hopefully be able to do with tinker’s construct so right off the bat we have tinkers available to us

And it looks like a crafty grid all i got to do is make a regular crafting grid bam and combine a pattern to that we get a crafting station this should allow us to see the inventories to the sides of us now i don’t know if it shows both

Sides or just one it looks like it just shows a one at the moment so i’m gonna go ahead and break this chest and we’re gonna work from this chest right here so i will keep most of my building materials over here for now and

As you can see i can craft from it very simple early on to get our storage going according to our first quest on getting started well we just need to kind of progress through here we get some free steak though right away and we have all the wood

So if i put this in my inventory and some planks there we go we have now completed that giving us a stick i’ll take the sticks this right here is click for a tutorial there’s actually a tutorial built into this on using a barrel i wonder if this tutorial

Is uh a part of create because create is in here i i bet it is i bet it’s a neat little tutorial okay let’s see if we can’t see this so i just need to make a barrel most of these uh recipes i have memorized from extra hilo

Let’s see what this is yes it’s a create tutorial it literally shows you filling this what a neat little thing i’m glad that they’re they’re using that all right and we get some slabs now the barrel on its own that’s showing us put putting uh saplings in there

We’ll fill oh it’ll also fill water when it rains um all right so we need to get into this so we can go ahead and get cobblestone and we can start making a crook i love the little tutorials to get stone all you have to do is right click the

Ground uh preferably with an empty hand and start all over here and look at that i’m right clicking the ground not continuously but i am just holding down right click and i’m getting all of the uh the pebbles i take stone pebbles and make some cobblestone perfect got to the

Stone age and it gives us some more and then we have our wooden crook which should be very simple to make that is going to be sticks like that and now when we farm our saplings we should get more out of it ah it’s nighttime so i’m gonna go ahead and

Plant a couple of trees right here and then use that crook on them and i should be able to get some special things from it like these silk worms right here so uh didn’t last very long as you can see we have all these silkworms i definitely want to keep up with making

Those they’re a diorite crook of course there is and it’s it’s the crook of all crooks diorite crook now what we can do is we can grow ourself a nice little tree this size is perfect and i’m going to place those silk worms on here and infest the leaves giving us

String which is going to get us nice and started on making some sieves no now string mesh is only used for a few things and really to get progressed further we are going to have to upgrade this string mesh right away to a flint one so to do that we take some flint

Which i just gathered and well we have a mesh but we need to use this thing and how do we use this well you place down the sieve and you place down the mesh you can also shift right click to get the mesh out and we can

Also hit the u key on it to see what all it gives us and if we take a look at gravel we’re gonna notice it gives us all kinds of goodies a bunch of pieces of things like iron that we can combine together with four and uh i believe

Smelt it so we get raw iron and we can use that raw iron to smelt down into iron so that also goes for all the other stuff now string mesh this is actually used for uh sieving dirt mostly but as you can see we could get a chance of of getting

That out of uh gravel but of course we could break that dust gives us gunpowder and bone mill out of that this is a way of getting around building a mob farm early on which we’ll probably end up using it’s a 7 chance but it is it is

Worth it i think early on and then cocoa beans and that’s about it you can get saplings out of certain things and you can get gravel and dirt from coarse dirt and then of course dirt gives you all the different types of plants including the ones that they gave us early on like

Uh let’s see these over here there are a list of pumpkin melon potato seeds and sugar cane as you can see right here and i believe cactus is also in here here’s carrots and green i don’t see cactus oh your sweet berry and here’s cactus so

Yeah all of your plants can come from that it’s another night now of course you may be wondering chosen what is the fastest way to progress through this what is the fastest way to get through the sieving stuff well at first i think instead of just going ahead and and manually breaking

All of this after you get one of the meshes just go ahead and start sieving the gravel you’re going to get flint from sieving this gravel and then you can use the flint to make yourself a setup of three by three of these sieves and then if you have three by three

You will then sieve nine at a time um so if you take your string mesh i don’t know if this will allow me to do both of them together but it will as you can see right here um this is probably going to uh it’s probably best to do it just all on

The the single one right here the gravel but uh yeah this is going to grant us that setup and uh it’ll be faster than anything once we get six then we can add one more and then keep adding one more and one more until we have a three by three of sieves

That are all set up with uh the flint mesh so we have a bunch of coal which is really nice i can actually go ahead and make a furnace which i can use all of my cobblestone for and we should have some iron pieces

Built up those can be now used to make a bucket so uh we’re getting started somewhere or i should probably use them to actually make a sheer so we can start getting some nice stuff here in our barrel now a little quick tip you can actually just

Hold a right click while standing on something and as you can see it’s going to generate a bunch of stuff and you don’t have to worry about your inventory getting filled but once your inventory is filled here’s a little quick tip you can actually shift k or just hit k while hovering over

These items to quick compress them that’s a a very useful tip if you didn’t already know that this also should apply to things in here as well to quick compress your cobblestone inside your inventory while you’re in a crafting grid now i know the quest doesn’t show it here but another useful thing

Uh would be to take our cobblestone and a couple of sticks and make yourself a simple builder’s wand just to make placing this compressed cobble a little bit quicker so all you have to do is place it down and as you can see bam we can now get this going a lot faster

Bam and then just break it all with a hammer so after a bunch of sieving i now have a pretty good amount of iron now like i said the first thing i want to make is some shears and then i probably need a bucket those are two major components that i’m

Gonna need and the reason i need shears is so we can get water so i’m gonna go ahead and grow a couple of trees go ahead and twerk those trees oh my goodness and then i can shear them grabbing all those fancy leaves that gets thrown all the way over here

Uh all these fancy leaves get put in here and if you put leaves in here this turns into water so all i gotta do is fill this up a little bit now the other side of things um you can take saplings and saplings i believe they should turn

Into dirt actually this is turning into dirt all this is turning into dirt there is there still a uh crucible i don’t know maybe there’s still a crucible yeah there’s still crucibles because the crucibles are how you get water normally i was thinking maybe they had changed it

But anyways this gives you dirt um so yeah so to get water let’s go ahead and fix our problem here or i’m telling you wrong on everything uh crucible just like this now this will grant us a little bit of water when you put leaves in so this is gonna

Take a little bit but it should give us a bucket of water which is perfect because once we have one bucket of water we can go ahead and combine it with this and we can make this whole thing an infinite water source how cool is that

It’s just going to take a little bit of time and i almost forgot to mention uh i believe this also needs a torch underneath it so let’s grab a fantastic torch and i think that’s what this needs yes as you can see it doesn’t show any information but it is slowly

But surely oh it is showing information there we’re going to hold shift there we go yeah it’s slowly but surely draining perfect i do need a bunch of dirt uh yeah i’m going to be using this to sieve i’m about to change my sieves over back into the plane

String mesh uh for a very simple reason i’m going to sieve instead of making a mob farm i’m going to sieve for my bone meal and that is what we’re going to use to make ourself a crucible coming up nothing like the taste of cooked worms

Hmm very good now i almost forgot about this instead of a sheer you could actually use a comma a comma is basically a shear but it’s a it’s part of tinker’s construct and it’s it’s not too hard to make it is literally just a sword it looks like a binding and a rod

And we can make this i think i’m going to make it out of uh can i use diorite to actually make this might make for a pretty colorful tool if i do that oh i can okay so for that i’ll just go with a diorite blade and a diorite binding

And then i’ll just use wood for the rod and we can make ourselves an easily repairable tool uh let’s go ahead and do the comma here bam and we have a diorite comma how cool is that and just like before we can grow a tree and we can actually

Share it but we’re using the comma instead and if i want to fix this thing all i have to do is make repair kits a repair kits are a bit more expensive now that they require patterns to do but i can use this stick it in here and then i can repair

It once the durability is all the way down there our water is ready i’m able to pick this up and place it one block away and as you can see infinite water source all around i’ve got most of my grinding done as you can see i am switching

Slowly but surely over to iron meshes this is the last mesh i need and the iron is right now cooking away perfect so i have the iron and you get a lot more iron so the progression is the same way as the flint you definitely want to work one at a time

And continue to sit through your gravel until you have all this done and then once you have it all done you actually get a lot a lot more iron from this and we’re also gonna be getting diamonds and emeralds now from the iron mesh now the reason i

Wanted to switch iron mesh was because i need to go ahead and kind of start working towards the crucible and getting ourself a cobblestone generator i’d love to have that before the end of today’s episode so cobblestone generator here we come now one of the first steps is i need to

Take some dust and sieve this and the reason why i wanted to upgrade to iron i was mentioning is because if we if we did flint we don’t really get too much out of this we get bone mill gunpowder and that’s it and then of course some

Skystone dust if we went to iron now we get glowstone redstone and we get all this useful stuff including blaze powder so a lot more efficient to just go ahead and upgrade this before doing the dust because this is where the fun starts to happen sieving some dust this was the uh

The product of said dust sieving but i do want to keep a few dust because i’m going to take this let’s go ahead and fill these buckets all nine of them up with water and then place the dust inside and i get clay just like that look at all these clay blocks

Perfect now did they add the crafting recipe yes so i can now take the clay balls and throw them in here if i grab out eight of them and then combine seven of them i can get some porcelain clay uh the porcelain clay normally you’d get bone mill from like

You know killing some mobs but you don’t have to in this particular version i’m sure eventually we’re gonna need a mob farm but hopefully we have better means of making it this right here is an unfired crucible we just need to fire said crucible and then set this on a torch

So do i have a torch laying around there we go we do the same thing we did before i’m going to go ahead dig a hole place my torch get that ready to go and now i have my fired crucible throw this right on top oh hey look at there it’s raining

I hope this fills all these buckets up because then i can go ahead and make some more clay but with it raining i’m gonna go ahead and show here um i can then throw cobblestone in this if i have some stone or even andesite should probably work andesite should probably work or diorite

I’m going to go ahead and throw some some sort of stone inside here and over time this is going to turn into a bucket of lava now here’s a list just to sort of show you the general heat sources that you can use underneath the crucible so you can see right here

Here’s the heat source you have just a regular torch then you can use glowstone for times too campfire is a little bit better we should probably use a campfire considering how much better it is um and then you have blaze mesh uranium blocks lava is actually not that great anymore

Um a furnace can be used that’s a new one you can use regular fire um they’re super heating elements dark matter block a redstone torches one shroom light magma block wow we should be totally using a campfire that’s the way to go i didn’t even realize that i’m glad i looked at this

So yeah campfire is very simple it’s literally just some coal some sticks and logs and it’s way better than a torch four times faster i could have had this done already so yeah let’s go ahead and make this and then swap this out for this that is

Way better you can see the heat source for so my lava is done which means i can now pull out a bucket of lava perfect now along with this i am going to need to grab some iron i’ve got to make another bucket this is going to be for my water

And we are really close to making ourself a cobblestone generator so all i need is some logs and a piece of glass a singular piece of glass how nice so by the time i have my logs pulled out that’ll be ready to go just like this love and water and this will generate

Cobblestone for us at a decent pace ah so we don’t have to go through the process of clicking the ground over and over again there’s our cobblestone tier one and look at that we get a whole bunch of stuff now at this point this is where things sort of branch off i’ve

We’ve kind of gone through the basics of course this can be upgraded to another tier this can go up to diamond tier and so on and so forth our our cobble gin can be upgraded as well um we’re going to need of course more lava but i want to set up

A semi automation or i guess it’d be full automation for this crucible uh because this should be able to input into chests i believe uh let’s go ahead and see does this directly deposit into a chest i think it might deposit onto the top into a chest probably

I’m about to find out let’s go ahead and make ourself a chest i need to make sure this works because i want to try out a new mod all right and yes so this inputs into a chest from the top that’s good information to know

Let’s go ahead and break this i know i have an axle mate so i should probably use that this works as a pickaxe by the way um all right so with that what i can do is i can set up a barrel that is going to be next to our crucible

Now there’s a new mod in here that is called not drawers i’ll see it maybe drawers works no it’s called functional storage and i’m super excited to get to play with this mod so functional storage is like a storage drawer mod it’s basically storage source uh except it has way more functionality

And i was i’m incredibly excited to play with this all right so we have our drawer here and i need to make a upgrade called a pusher upgrade um it looks like we can also make framed drawers and make you make them look however we want which is kind of cool as well

I’m getting distracted all right i need a hopper so let’s see is this recipe in here yes let’s make a regular hopper and then i’m gonna make this pushing upgrade needs a piece of redstone thankfully i have one and of course anything that has automation is probably going to be that way

All right so the goal this is super simple super super simple um uh maybe i should put it right here for now i’m gonna put it on this side so i’m gonna have my cobble gin on the floor and then i’m going to place my oak

Drawer here which is going to fill up with cobblestone and then let’s see i can pick that up i can access the inventory let’s put the utility in there is that how this works it says right click in a g right click in the gui to change directions

Um right click in gui so we have up north south west and east oh that’s interesting so i need to know what direction i am facing um so we are fake that’s north so i want this going in the north direction and so as you can see this is filling up this

That is right next to it and we also have this available to us oh that is perfect what a simple little animation there for our lava and guys well with that i think that concludes today’s episode i think we got a lot done in today’s episode and my goodness do i feel good
