Here we are on the last pre episode to the Bedrock guide before we start season three episode one and today we are going to go over the world creation process and we’re going to talk about all the options and we’re gonna get the season three World created let’s go ahead let’s Go to the play button let’s hit create new this is where you’re going to create a new world and this create World screen is somewhat new it came around a few months ago right as part of an update I believe it’s rolled out to everybody I’m Not sure if it’s on all devices yet maybe some of the consoles or something that’s not on I’m not sure but this is what we have here all the options are the same it just looks a little bit different it’s organized a little bit differently so first of all we got Bedrock guide season three would be the name of our world we’re gonna be in survival mode we’re gonna be on hard difficulty you get nice descriptions as you click through here so you can kind of see what things are like now I’ll tell you when it comes to most game Mechanics there’s a few mechanics that only work on hard difficulty so I recommend playing on that if you’re gonna keep the same difficulty all the way through otherwise is the nice thing about Minecraft is you can change difficulty whenever you want to while you’re in game so if you don’t like Dealing with all the mobs all the time but it’ll be peaceful and then whenever you’re doing something that I show that requires mobs that are on a hard difficulty I’ll be sure to say it you can change the difficulty to hard during that period of time moving on to the Advanced menu this is where most of our settings that are going to matter are going to be if we’re going to be putting in a world seed it’s gonna go right here I would put in the world seed for the new Bedrock guide for you guys right now But I don’t want to give it away yet we’ll give that away in episode one and it’ll be in the description of all of these videos as they come out if you’re doing some type of testing you might want to turn oh I just click stuff Um if you’re doing some testing you may want to click on the flat world toggle right here that’ll put you in a super flat world just like you see in the little preview right there I’m on Minecraft Bedrock Edition there are some templates if you want to click on it Will put you inside of a particular biome which is super cool for the game to have available if you’d like to start out with a map of your area you could do so by clicking the starting map you know what I think maybe we we want to start Out with a map we’ll do that that’ll be kind of fun to do you can start out with a bonus chest with a few basic supplies we’re not going to need that but if you like to have such a thing that’s there for you always turn show coordinates on They’ll show up in the top left hand corner of the screen I highly recommend you have that fire spread owner off is a big question for a lot of people now I’d like to play with fire spread turned off that way if I build out a wood and lightning strikes everything I’ve built Doesn’t burn down if I decide I want to decorate with a fireplace somewhere or with lava somewhere everything I built doesn’t burn down fire spread off to me is the only way to go but if you like to start forest fires in Minecraft then by all means leave that turned on this will Matter for some game mechanics later when we go to make a gold farm so make sure you know what it is that you selected here um some of these are self-explanatory TNT explodes goes boom Red Box goes boom that’s pretty funny respawn blocks explode um that’s for beds and respawn anchors Uh mobs drop items when killed you want that on like most days You’re Gonna Leave default so next is simulation distance this one’s actually really important as you can see down here simulation distance is how far the game will load and apply changes within your world so a smaller simulation distance Means that mobs are going to spawn closer to you they’re not going to spawn far away from you and after you get only 64 blocks away from anything that you’ve done say a fire image you’ve made or uh mobs that you’re breeding or crops that are growing or anything like that They’re not going to work outside of 64 blocks away that’s it so depending on your device you may be able to play a higher simulation distance mobile devices unless they’re like brand new like higher end phones or tablets you’re probably going to be on four chunks you Can select higher if you have a better device still when it comes to a console maybe some of the older consoles PlayStation 4 Xbox One you may want to do most six chunks you could try eight chunks if it’s just a single player world may be fine if you’re playing on One of the newer consoles like a Xbox series X or a PlayStation 5 I believe the the 12 chunk option is available for you at least the 10 chunks should be you can Max it out you should be perfectly fine if you’re playing on a realm it’s Always going to be four chunks it doesn’t matter if you’re playing on a server you can set it higher but with a lot of players if you’re running like 5 10 15 players at a time it could get kind of laggy so use caution and maybe Do a little bit of research before you select your option here for our world I’m on a high-end PC so I like running 12 chunks that way I can build a farm and then up to 192 blocks away I can be somewhere doing something else building something else and that farm is still Working it just makes my workflow a lot more efficient and it makes the world feel and look more alive it makes mobs spawn further away etc etc whenever we do certain farms and other builds that the simulation distance is going to matter I’ll make sure that I design things to where you Can still do it within a four chunk simulation distance this matters a lot for Mob Farms moving on multiplayer tab if you want to have friends play with you leave multiplayer game on leave it as only invited players if you only want people that you invite to play in the World to be able to join or set it accordingly to whatever if it’s going to be a creative mode world you may want to give them operator status if you only want people to be able to come in and look at the world you may want visitor If you want them to be able to play normally then member would be good if you don’t want it to be multiplayer turn multiplayer off I’m going to leave mine on I’m gonna leave it on invited players I don’t know for sure if we’re gonna invite anybody to play into the world With this or not maybe for like a special episode where I want to go over some type of multiplayer type things as part of a guide so we’ll leave it on that for now and we will move on to cheats now cheats may be something you Do or do not want to use if you turn cheats on you can set things like always day maybe your main thing in Minecraft is building and you don’t really care about mobs and all that kind of stuff that it’s always daytime then you don’t Have to go to the bed to go to sleep every single night my kids love to use keep inventory great setting if you follow lava if you die somewhere all of your inventories is still there so if that’s the way you like to play you don’t have to worry about finding gear If you die or you’re not good at fighting mobs and it makes you not want to explore turn on keep inventory and feel free to explore go down to the warden go fight the Ender Dragon go fight a Wither do the things that are hard to do because worst case if you die You still have all your stuff you just go back to your spawn point um you got things like mob spawning mob griefing and other settings here you can kind of read through the settings as you go through and for the most part you probably aren’t going to touch too many Things here you’re probably gonna leave things as is or at most do things like the keep inventory sort of thing in your world before we do resource packs and behaviors packs let’s jump over to experiments experiments are going to allow you to do different things in your World and you may need to enable these depending on what type of add-ons that you’re using if you’re not using any add-ons you probably don’t need to do anything here me we’re gonna be using a camera mode add-on made by foxy no tail so I do need spectator mode on for that So we’re going to turn that on and although I’m not 100 sure if any of my add-ons will require this sometimes in the future they might if I decide to add on something that has any type of cool feature to it so we’re going to turn on holiday Creator features and beta apis This isn’t going to affect anything with the game if I don’t have any extra add-ons that use these things so they’re fine to be turned on but if I do add these things I don’t have to make a copy of the world and do all the extra steps So I’m going to go ahead I’m going to turn those on again you may or may not need to do any of these depending on what you’re gonna do in your world now let’s go over to Resource packs and if you’re going to apply any add-ons to Your world this is where you’re going to do it so I’m going to click on available I’m gonna click on own these are all the packs that I have I’m going to turn on a few of these now I’m the day an entity counter that I mentioned earlier we’re Going to turn that on and we’re going to turn on the BG S3 pack right here then I’m gonna go to behavior packs look at available anti-end greeting we’re going to turn on and the camera mode we’re going to turn on as well and that should Be all that I need for the world at this point I’m going to go ahead and secretly type in the seed now and I am now ready to click the create button and start Bedrock guide season three but you’ll have to wait until episode one to see it yourself I hope you guys Enjoyed this last pre-episode before things get started if you did please give a like
