Alright so let’s jump right into it because there’s so much I know you guys won’t want to show us and I’m personally excited for this I know that the Minecraft community is absolutely massive as to combine it with you guys Thanks we uh you know we’re big fans of Minecraft you know we’re going a lot of series right now and a couple years ago we had the idea to uh we’re gonna game how borderland telson the border lands without friends of kellogg’s this plan de woods is huge we still don’t touch with the steam engine with a split up Curse the dialogue is always yours the lights from intercom to make your way back to town got it got it got it we wanted to work with their friends and mo yang on a telltale series set in Minecraft so uh we are born a few years ago whereas Christmas juliank if you can Hear me so this is our player character jesse is the first time that telltale gamer you can actually choose your own character oh wow maybe a male female Jesse a couple different variations on the look and right now what’s going on is Jesse and his friends they just come From a building competition ft run things didn’t go so hot and his friend Axl and Olivia are trying to help Jesse find Jesse’s friend Reuben Reubens there there big hair and he is on fire he was wearing an Enderdragon costume we’re gonna try to poke around the Forest here through the woods and see if we could find his fire will spread all right so I’m personally curious obviously with telltale games everyone is familiar anyone who has played at ulta he knows that there’s a lot of difficult choices to make when it comes To playing a double game so will we experienced a similar sort of storyline where we’re faced with those same difficulties absolutely you know it’s not as it’s not necessarily you know this is riven all ages adventure we’re looking to you stupid big stories and movies let me grew up like with look Like the goonies of Ghostbusters and Jesus home look at movies you’re open shut up looking at movies uh from people like Pixar and you know be 10 enough a lot of people who knows from The Walking Dead odd word might not recall you know we’ve done games placed on Santa max We’ve done uh yeah tales of monkey island we’ve done a lot of games that were sort of more all ages and this is kind of a dip back into some of our roots and really excited jizz of Minecraft lots of choices here yeah so Jesse he’s out looking for his friend Reuben Reuben who is hideous carry out here he’s got a bunch of friends here summer builders some armored warriors and they’re gonna get a new late I don’t want to spoil too much the story but they’re going to set off on their journey and you know occasionally you Might have those difficult decisions of I might have to leave someone behind I might have to decide what do they have to build if the creepers are coming on their own zombies are coming out and you know it jeez please don’t be toasted Reuben no um I don’t know where Ruben is Thankfully that wasn’t Ruben thankful was Reuben with though I mean that would have been bakin driven right there if that was him it Reuben his friends not food ok he’s a friend he’s a friend but yeah a lot of decision today all right and after exploring I mean we’re already Looking at some of the mechanics as we see the bar on the left and then we see Lara moving around but how much of the Minecraft mechanics have you fully incorporated into this game please try to make it as similar as possible oh so the mechanics are different but all of The logic of the universe of Minecraft is reinterpreted in an telltale way ok so you have building of crafting you have you know all of those core elements survival creation playing with your friends online and sticking together those are kind of like the ideas behind minecraft all the things can you do in The poor game and obviously the street of remote area oh there’s Ruben Trivedi terrified I would be two out in out in the Minecraft world off the dog yes let’s get out of here Ruben right so just for clarification thing is the actual beginning of the game itself ok So this is not just a playable demo this is the actual game real so this is sort of in the front end of a premiere episode ok sorry Ron we’re trying to stay light on some spoilers if you want to go in fresh don’t watch you want to Know if this is all about please watch well the best part about the telco games is that I mean yes but we’re seeing the game itself but eventually no matter what even if we saw Laura makes me choices when we get to play wii plays differently by making different choices Are over son even right now we’re playing as a this version of jesse voiced by Patton Oswalt you can are the female versions voiced by Katherine’s haber you might know her from star wars the clone wars yes and the cast is just awesome Ava hi alright so this is Actually fascinating cuz we’re seeing in an attack sequence here a lot of people wondering how how action comment we’re gonna be an over here yeah it’s a lot like you see the Minecraft but just handled like Tulsa like a telltale Game yeah come on Laura there’s a lot of Stupid wooden swords so that’s really interesting I love that you’re getting such a good the essence of wine cup just as you said in the form of a telling you because that was what I was really curious about when I first heard that it would be minecraft and story mode it Decision right here too oh wow you gonna tell room in a run yup a buddy you’re gonna particular try and tell stay close [ __ ] urban with my buddy that’s what I would choose to you Laura I don’t want to be alone oh my god this is bringing me flashbacks of other telltale games Where I regretted the decision to enjoy a hypocrite yeah it’s got a blackout oh dear there we go Laura oh and this is the introduction of a new character that seems to be his hero in the situation so that’s our friend Petra okay Petra is a little worried herself She’s voiced by Ashley Johnson he might know her from the last of us but Ellie and uh oh archos an abor landscape least gordis of course Ellie is someone who if anyone who has watching the last of us you know he’s like a such a heartbreaking surgery careful Jesse you Don’t want to get a reputation as a way yeah this isn’t my first time in a cave Petra yeah but have you ever seen a wither skull yay fresh from the network you’re the first person I’ve showed it to you risk your life for that dusty old Skull um I risk my life for the thing I’m gonna exchange for that dusty old skull there’s this guy I’m meeting up with a tender concept he’s gonna trade me a diamond for it being the resident go-getter pays off every once in a while the guy you got the skull for what’s his Deal he’s kind of strange I guess but hey everybody’s got their thing wow it is so surreal to hear her voice again and was game your old totally normal not at all weird skull thing and as long as this guy is willing to pay I earned that Diamond Mike oh wow what in a single day you went to the nether you killed a wither skeleton you’re meeting up with some awesome shifty guy in an awesome sketchy alley I mean I did build a super cool stansted it’s pretty sweet being used she’s pretty bad at you could come with me Oh look at poor Reuben is abundant if you’re too nervous I totally get it rubens been a bit of a feeler thus far we’ve been on out with you sort of preemies who are kind of leading up to the premiere okay I removin just consider it we love is like it yeah kind Of like r2d2 oh and way of course RGB cube everyone’s favorite comes in handy since that wouldn’t sort of yours got busted you’re giving me a new one even better you can make your own one stick + 2 stones equals 1 sore here we go so a lot of people wonder at Uni uh how is their crafting going to be handled yeah that would pickles do my next class but we see much rent reducing that you are from so overall I’m enough to Leah you know it’s not implemented in that making sure language of that first person minecraft the yourens were Therapy um here its accredited felt oh wait you gotta go it’s great because a lot of people that are new to Minecraft that kind of don’t quite understand it or you know maybe I’m friends and families playing it they still just can’t wrap their heads around it we’re Getting a lot of great feedback from people who are playing story mode and by playing as you can see we’re kind of learning on how to assemble yo nevah 902 cobblestones nonstick equals stone sword what’s this way your catering not only the people who loves minecraft but People we may not even be better Millie ER with it we’ve got more great feedback so yeah okay people who’ve been watching their family player for years but haven’t really been stowed in themselves but this way they so we’re about to flash forward in time I don’t want to Spoil too much but change of pace here Jesse and his friends have made it to enter con a celebration of all things going on the world of Minecraft and things don’t go over someone okay let’s watch your eyes oh my god what am I looking at you he looks like a nice person Oh No that would you stay flash forward yeah so we for the purposes of the demo okay over folks over parts of thing okay wasn’t the man that wasn’t the exact beginning of the game this is closer to the middle okay that was gonna say i Don’t see Ruben and my eyes are looking for a minyan something at enercon didn’t go quite as planned okay oh there is together you got this more oh my god this is reminding me of so many games I played Intel so i had to spam a button you’re Just typed out by a friend of theirs a new friend named Gabriel the thing about Jeff seeing the group of friends they all know and they admire this group called the order of the stone they’re kind of these legendary heroes that kind of represent different types of players At my friend Gabriel is a warrior there’s Ella guard the right stone engineer there’s madness who’s a griefer and their Sauron who’s kind of the architect no one’s seen some of these here isn’t quite a long time but they go and they find Gabriel at enercon they’re Looking for his [ __ ] we’ll be safe as soon as we get some item come on borah I believe in Lara one hundred percent got this I absolutely love how everything is done in the Minecraft yeah we actually built all of the sets and everything you’re seeing experiment we built in Minecraft Okay so all of this you know we spent you know years in Minecraft building the sets playing around looking at different concepts contraptions and looking at the fan community as well you know my practice such a community of experience of course yeah you know millions playing And there are there’s so much going on out there we’re looking at that world and we’re looking at the players we’re in there ourselves working on ideas for the story so all of this that you see we built in Minecraft poured it over to our engine rocket you should be untouchable in there Everyone get inside jesse has to steal not right here it’s not Lynn Marie up Jesse what is it no I miss you know Reuben is safe come on let’s and for all the people out there in the Minecraft Community as well as the loyal fans of telltale I’m sure every one of them are super excited and I know that you said at the beginning of this that you said to be october 30 october 3 premiere it’ll download all that week playstation 3 for xbox 360 xbox one pc mac iOS Android pretty much everywhere even wii u later this fall and then you can buy it in stores two weeks later on october 27 1k and you can buy it on disk the first episodes there pop it in your system and then it’ll update every time a new episodes available OAS is Absolutely amazing i can already expect that on that day we’re going to see so many streamers on twitch playing the game and it’ll be fascinating to see the different decisions that are made but thank you guys
