for me if I did it longer Term because of the subscriber split um it’s also probably better discoverability for just gaining subscribers in general for your future YouTube videos because of it all being on one platform um it’s also better because I just personally think memberships are a better way of showing support than subscribe and I think you Get more out of being a member than a YouTube subscriber I think the fact that I can put thumbnails on a twitch stream or on a YouTube stream is something that I really like um and I also like that overall compared to Twitch there’s less ads for people Um and the fact that I can schedule streams uh the worst part about YouTube is that the chatting experience is way worse there’s a horrible moderation tools compared to Twitch um which is probably the biggest thing I would say I think I like the UI more of twitch and I think I like that twitch is probably better discoverability wise for smaller streams which I actually think is one of the few positives that twitch has um I think there’s more resources for external streaming tools like stream elements uh BT TV seven TV stuff like that on Twitch then YouTube so There’s a lot of pros and cons one of the cons too is uh someone just spamming like say Gengar or some weird stuff like that’s definitely a con of YouTube oh another con is that uh the way that music and vods works is basically I can’t play any music that Has a chance of being copyrighted or else the stream just like doesn’t work um and also uh what was the other one so I need to do this I feel like YouTube is more improvable I agree it’s just that YouTube hasn’t improved it which is the unfortunate part There is theater mode for YouTube as well you just have to download an extension called truffle which is really helpful and I I really like using theater mode truffle is really good for that We’re Never Getting 1940s music ever again I know it’s actually a tragedy isn’t watch time on YouTube really low Um I mean not that I’ve seen I mean I’ve averaged more viewers on Twitch and stuff like that will you be teleported to your Pearl yes I will which will be really nice yes it wasn’t as bad as I thought
