Hello everybody and welcome back to another episode of how to minecraft i’m hoping you’re having a fantastic day because i am having a fantastic day so far i have spent all sorts of time off camera moving things around it took a while to move my inventory from the House over here look it’s i feel like we’ve moved out you know like this is like an old you know home that we’re moving from one spot to another and we have moved it over to the new storage place that we built last episode that is not what this Episode is going to be about but it has been done i still need to make a whole bunch of item frames but we got random stuff we got mob drops some like halfway valuable valuables very valuable valuables nothing nothing uh sto of stairs of slabs wit random blocks Cobble smooth stone dirt grass nothing nothing uh gravel land decide diorite we have all the things all over the place it’s all fairly organized it’s going to be a lot easier to to remember and see where everything is once i get item frames for everything redstone stuff and whatnot so We’re working on that i’m just gonna keep doing that i’m i have a pit so it’s easy to breed up my cows here i think i just bred them yeah so there’s there’s no more breeding to be done but uh those cows i’m oh and my friendly creature Sounds are off turn that back on uh sure 100 there we go let’s hear those cows so that is what is going on in between the episodes but this episode i want to defeat or at least find the mansion the woodland mansion and this was inspired by a comment i know I’m always inspired by you guys from manus conte bar hey chad i think you should aim for the woodland mansion or an ocean temple soon by the way great content thank you so much i saw this uh mirrored in a few other comments and i was already sort of leaning Towards this because i had so much fun going out and finding the into portal we didn’t actually jump into the end portal but we got there and that was just a lot of fun going on an adventure so i want to keep going with that adventure so the first step in starting this Adventure is to sleep no it’s not very it’s not a very exciting first step i know no we are going to first make a cartography village a cartographer villager cartography villager would i don’t know what that would be but anyway we’re gonna make one of these villagers profession cartography And all we have to do is make a cartographer’s table and that recipe is really simple it is just spruce planks and then paper on top and then you go you got your cartography table and we have an entire set of villagers up here what my villager escaped where did he go Actually i think i saw yeah there’s two villagers up there i think that it was a child and it moved anyway so we can throw this down and it doesn’t matter what type of cartographer you get okay it’s gonna be totally fine no matter who is your cartographer you’re not gonna Have to make like a whole bunch of them there because every time that a villager gets a new trade there’s a chance of what the next trade will be but with the cartographer you’re guaranteed to get what we want which is a woodland explorer map so you’re just gonna have to Level him up though so we’re gonna have to use our emeralds here which we do have quite a few to level him up and grow up there he goes and now we could get a ocean explorer map but i think oh man glass pain Can we just keep man maybe let me go get some paper from uh our sugar cane farm walking from one spot to another does get a little boring and it makes me really want a light track and listen i saw a lot of comments from you guys mentioning that maybe a lightroom should Be the next thing that we do and that would require defeating the dragon which is something i’m totally fine with doing i’m totally fine with defeating the dragon but for some reason it just feels like a big step like it feels like a commitment to destroy to defeat the dragon and i’m Like i don’t know i don’t know if i want that type of commitment man this is a that’s a big step for me in the the the relationship of how to minecraft also i feel like that’s such a big deal like it needs it needs to be like wrapped up in Something epic that happens but also i feel like that’s no big deal like whatever like let me just defeat the dragon so i don’t know how i feel about the dragon and i don’t know how i feel about just just doing it like i don’t know i’m gonna make a ton of I’m gonna make a ton of compasses i don’t know if i need this many compasses but i feel like he’s eventually like they would eventually trade for compasses right so we’re just gonna make a lot of them okay boop there we go 64 campuses i don’t know like i said Don’t know we need them uh we’ll also go ahead and get that ocean explorer map because why not that’ll show us to an ocean monument which is kind of nice okay man first off give me an ocean explorers map second off take my paper i don’t want to give you All the paper i don’t think oh man okay that’s enough paper i will just we’ll just keep getting empty oh my god Okay let’s just do this there we go i’m gonna get so many ocean explorer maps do i need them no no i don’t but there you go i got him okay next there we go this is what i really wanted the woodland explorer map i knew that i could trade my compasses One compass for an emerald anyway where i don’t really care about that we have all that we want now we got it the woodland explorer map it’s so tiny let’s let me rearrange my inventory here so here’s how this works in order to find a woodland mansion This is really the easiest way to do it so you can see this little white corner up in the top of the map that’s where i am so i am north and to the west of wherever this woodland mansion is now i could be 100 blocks away I could be a thousand blocks away i could be like 10 000 blocks away i could be really really really far away Putting all my map making materials over there so we are definitely gonna go on an adventure to find this uh mansion now unlike last time i should be smart about this and the things that i should remember to do is take enough uh obsidian with me to make a portal Maybe two i might want to move it once i uh i find out where this is gonna go i also should bring with me i’m gonna even get more episode again because i want another ender chest so we’re gonna go ahead and make an inner Chest i have a silk touch pick so i should be able to throw this ender chest on the ground and pick it back up again also we should empty out our current ender chest so that we can have some room to stuff things into and man you guys talking about that Elytra it’s really like it sounds really good right now oh by the way i put my protection bucket and my inner chest does move and stuff so i wouldn’t accidentally mix it up with the other buckets the non-protection bucket buckets i don’t know why but i have just weirdly decided that That protection this protection bucket is it’s important that this one is different from all the others just what i’ve decided so let’s grab some flint and steel and i think that that is really all that i need i have oh i might want some more food before we leave but Inner chest plenty of obsidian to make a few portals enough food and obviously the gear that i have right now also i guess if i didn’t mention it maybe a compass to find your way back home if you need to do that as well so i happen to know from the sun That this is the west you know or wait yeah and that should be the east wait a second is that wrong it is wrong weird i didn’t realize that my minecraft the sun rises in the east wait is that right oh my god that is right why am i wrong I thought that it’s set anyway so that that’s the west that means that that is south and then that is east and if i am north and west i need to go south and east so i need to aim for in that direction as i go so We’re off uh well i’m only like a few blocks away from my house and i realize it’s getting dark and also another thing that i should bring with me which is a bed because it allows you to skip the night so you don’t have to walk around In the dark i know that i have one right here so let’s take a nap make a day and keep this with us i feel like it’s definitely smart to go at a diagonal because i guess i don’t really know if i’m more South or or i need to go more south or i need to go more east and if i just go directly in one direction i could have been splitting the time in half if i would have been going in both directions earlier so let’s definitely aim diagonally here i should Have brought this saddle i said this last time i shoulda i should have a saddle so if i ever see a horse i can tame it why do i always keep forgetting that i’m really glad that all the paper in minecraft is waterproof otherwise this map would be destroyed by What i’m doing right now by the way if you’re wondering what the heck is he going for to a woodland mansion for and you don’t know well there’s a whole bunch of loot inside of woodland mansions that you can kind of only get at woodland mansions specifically totems Of undying now i don’t really have a major use for totems of undyne right now like i don’t there’s not like a build or like some epic thing i want to do with them but getting one is just always really really cool and inside of the woodland mansion There’s a whole bunch of other things and it’s just fun to explore and fun to kind of go on an adventure to do tons of rooms tons of different things to see new mobs that i’ve never seen before so that is why we are headed to a woodland mansion and they are Inside oh they’re inside of roofed forests i might get lucky here if the map updates soon if it doesn’t update soon then we may have a really long time to go but uh roof forests are where they generate so that’s good i wonder at what point It is the furthest away from home i’ve ever been because i’m remembering the the like the frodo line in lord of the rings if i take one more step this is the furthest away from home i’ve ever been and i wonder at what point that is for me That’d be great to know but i don’t well i definitely know i’ve never been to this area because of that lava that’s updating what is that oh oh there’s a ruined portal over there i was like why is the nether in the overworld this would be the first rune portal i found In the overworld i found them in the nether but i think i don’t think i’ve ever found them in the overworld yet by the way i know the comments are going to be all like what you have optified why you just hit c and zoom in well since updating to 1.16.2 I have got rid of optifine so i could be on the newest version of minecraft so right now we’re not running optifine okay we’re coming up to this ruined portal a lot of times there’s some awesome loot inside of these oops i just stepped on that uh fortune 3 Shovel cursive binding and some obsidian i don’t really need that a lot of times there is not one chest but multiple so let’s see if we can find another treasure chest i don’t see one and i’m starting to feel like nope no second treasure chest for Me well that’s it then whoa almost fell well cool stuff let’s keep on moving i’m really surprised we’re coming to the end of i think the first day while walking so i’ve been walking for around 10 minutes i’m really surprised that i haven’t seen more structures special things i haven’t seen Really any villages it’s kind of interesting that we haven’t run across a lot of special things other than that one rune portal obviously but that got me thinking like where’s the rest of this stuff and let’s take a nap here looks good to make sure that we don’t have to deal with the Night i’m moving on the map oh my gosh this is great news so that little dot get out of here this thing that little dot at the top that is moving now so as i move this direction it gets closer and closer to that first little tear right there you Go that’s easier to see so you can see that dot moving which means that i have gone far enough in this direction so now i need to head in that direction a lot more which is this is great this is the first step towards finding this mansion you know It’d be great right now elytra elytra would be great right now we are switching to a boat because i see a lot of water coming up and that should help me out so one thing that i love about boats is that you can eat while moving at your Like top speed which is fantastic now you cannot see the map while you’re in a boat i might go a little bit off to the edge over here now the map does not show any water i mean it shows some water but it doesn’t show any water near the location So this stuff is the water that is empty so i know that i’m still a good ways away from the mansion boats horses of the sea also the fact that i cannot see a roofed forest makes me think that we are pretty far away from it again so i just looked at The f3 menu and we are about 4 000 blocks away from the spawn location so we are really really far away and it is ending the second day of walking straight so each day is about 10 minutes so we spent about 20 minutes of just straight up Walking we are in the middle of a big ol ocean which to be honest i prefer because i can get a lot of space covered inside of a boat like a like i can move really fast inside of a boat compared to just straight up walking there is a Really cool set of ruins right here look at this it’s really close to the surface so you can see it that’s pretty neat this is why everybody hates woodland manchester so far away and there’s so few of them i have been walking for almost 30 straight minutes just Trying to find this one woodland mansion 30 minutes of the most boring walking minecraft please sometimes grinding is not game oh oh well we’re at a roofed forest which is a good thing is it a big roof forest it is which is an even better thing and it’s almost nighttime Which is an okay thing so the map in its current form oh that’s interesting we’re getting like an automatic cobble generator there the map in its current form is basically like almost like a outdated map with like a fog of war so as we get closer and we actually show up Into the map it’ll be like a normal minecraft map and it’ll update and become colorful so if i start to see an edge of color uh at the top of the map then i know that i’m really really close oh no it looks like this is the edge of The biome i was so hoping that this was the roof forest for us but it’s ending so i don’t think it is i see a village this is the direction that i’ve been walking and i see another roof forest so that is fantastic i’m gonna go check out this village okay That village had nothing for me and let’s see if this is our roof force that we want i don’t think so supposedly i’m right above the mansion based off of the map and this one doesn’t seem to go that far oh we’re in a tall birch forest Ah this is awesome i don’t know if i’ve ever seen one of these naturally these birch trees are way taller than they normally spawn in that is awesome here’s a witch hut kind of cool high witch hut where’s your little black cat that’s all i want to see i want to see there’s Another cat wait a second is that supposed to be a black cat what glitchiness is happening here this poor lady i just came into her house and murdered her she’s like uh excuse you wait a second oh man starting to wonder if i should make a portal to the nether Go in it and then like move a few thousand blocks like maybe ten thousand blocks like move a far away and then check back in with the map because i’ve been walking i think that this is my four oh shoot i just slept but i don’t Remember which day it is that’s how long it’s been i don’t remember what day it’s been um and that means i’ve been i’ve been walking like here let me just look what how many help what’s the recording at where i’ve been walking for over an hour so I’m like i’m i’m ready to find this thing let’s go oh oh my gosh i almost died i almost died i’m good we’re fine if i had died there i i it’s that’d have been the end of it i’ve been like oh y’all want to see a rage quit episode Oh my gosh the map is updating the map is updating this is not a drill we are really really close oh my gosh how here this doesn’t look i was like there’s no way that we are close now we’re in the middle of a mountainous region oh my gosh we should Oh my gosh get out of here mountains is stressful i wanted to see it okay wow there it is there it is this is a big one oh man i’m so afraid on yes woodland mansion time o k wow so first thing is first which is we need to set our respawn Point we need to fir i guess first we need to find the entrance to this thing because there should be a front door but then after that we need to make sure that we put down our bed and click it to set our respawn point so if we die inside We will be able to come back here without going all the way back to my base this is the weirdest oh there’s the front door okay so there’s the front door look how weirdly positioned this is inside of get out of here dirt this is like right on the edge of This roofed forest it’s like barely in there this is fantastic though i’m so happy so so happy that we have found it this is the first time i’ve ever gotten dark oak apparently that’s what the little toast up there is telling me i’m gonna make a Little sanctuary for us i guess i don’t really have any cobblestone i’m kind of ill prepared in that regard i may try to make the ugliest little thing for us to live inside so that means which i can hear from the outside don’t get in so that if i die i’m not Going to just die over and over and over and over again so we have this set up now let’s put down our bed and we have the respawn point set which is important we’re gonna put down a little crafting table and i’m gonna make a furnace to smelt up some Charcoal so we’re gonna throw that in there and then i guess we’ll put that in there so we’re gonna make up some torches can’t believe that i got this far without more torches and i think it’s time to enter into the mansion do i get an advancement from Entering the mansion i can’t remember all of the zombies though in this area are gonna come and say hi doesn’t look like i get an advancement get out of here The zombies aren’t really what i’m worried about i’m mostly worried about all of the evokers and all of the pillagers those are not going to be very fun i just need you so many torches to keep this place lit it’s almost an impossible task holy moly okay hello yeah aha hello First of his kind oh i forgot i have my looting sword so i’m gonna get lots of emeralds here now when it comes to all these rooms there’s gonna be a ton of different types of rooms and some of them have secrets i don’t remember which ones which i’m Just gonna assume that what you see is what you get so if it looks like a room full of wool it’s just a room full of wool and i’m gonna move on oh i’m a dead end oh creeper oh he blew up i can see these guys threw a little Hole in the wall there’s a hole in the wall where you can see the pillagers i find it cutting through walls a pretty effective strategy to make sure that you found a whole bunch of the rooms because you can get pretty lost in here and so just just Ignoring the hallways and just going straight into the rooms it’s pretty good ooh ooh two music discs oh that’s actually really good that music disc is fairly rare so i’ll take it okay up to the second floor now and i can i’ve heard a whole bunch So i think that there’s some well hello pillagers holy moly now if i don’t find a total of undyne in here it’s going to be very sad if they’re like i assume that it has to spawn with the appropriate mops but i think this is the last floor i didn’t see three so We’re getting to a point where it’s like come on i need this oh here’s another floor oh good okay so there’s a another floor i just saw a chicken in this other room what a funny build oh my gosh get out here spider okay so this is what i like To think of as the boxing rink a lot of times there is well guess not sometimes there’s a chest up in the the ceiling area here so let’s get rid of this guy and i was right here’s a chest what do we got a diamond oh And a name tag that’s good oh another music disc i’ve put a lot of the other stuff that i’ve been collecting down in the chest uh where i have my bed so a name tag is fantastic i can actually name that dog that mean dog now Uh once we get home well i think i have finally found what i was looking for i got oh there he is finally the mob i’ve been wanting you know i’m just going to go straight for him ouch holy moly get rid of this guy and make sure that these effects can’t Spawn too many vexes on me get out of here he has a lot of health ouch got him okay now we can deal with the vexes and i have my totem of undying exactly what i wanted hooray hi get out of here there we go okay let’s light up this Room total of uh totem of undying achieved oh i want to look at it i want to look at get out of here vexes you’re vexing me okay there we go we don’t need this iron axe totem of a dying yes exciting i guess i didn’t explore this half Of is there another one there’s another one okay we’re gonna get him two okay we’ll get him he’s gonna summon in his vexes i bet oh wow he was fast holy moly he they didn’t have a chance i got another totem of undyne fantastic double the totems well that is very exciting Because up here on the third floor i had really explored everything there was to explore and i was like i don’t know i’m not seeing anything there’s nothing up here and it was a little bit frustrated it was like come on i thought that i had found all this stuff well that is Uh my that is the mansion we’ve done it we got our two totems of undyne that is super duper exciting oh that’s kind of scary to them okay we’re fine uh and we have done it we have completed the mansion that’s really all there is with This so now all i have to do is make some portals back home i’m going to make a another portal back home and continue my another portal moving and i’ll have to make a a long way back and i’ll probably do that around this area we have this is our chest full of Goodies this is our haul there we go a little bit better organized diamond hoe three 13 music discs a name tag and some mob drops along with two totems of undyne thanks so much for watching this episode of how to minecraft if you enjoyed it please
