Just catching some air or just flying down now you can use the rockets which have been in the game for forever to power that flight so here’s how you do it so here we are in a small creative world but i’m going to do this without

Being in creative to show off all of the different ways you can make this happen i’m in f5 mode let’s jump out of that so first we’re going to go into our crafting table and you may remember that the crafting recipe for a rocket is just

Paper and gunpowder and you can see that the flight duration is one you can actually increase that flight duration which is something that you’re going to want to do by adding an extra piece of gunpowder all the way up until three flight durations so once you had another

One it won’t allow you to craft it so you want that long flight duration now you may also remember when crafting a firework you can add a firework star and this is what adds the effect after the rocket goes up into the air and explodes so this rocket that we’re going to make

Has a fly duration of one and a small blue ball explosion and then we’re going to make a whole bunch of fireworks without the explosion at the end with a flight duration of three and these fireworks that i already have have a flight duration of one and we’re going to show

Off a few differences so first this firework rocket that has the blue explosion at the end i’m just going to come on over here we’re going to use this as a little bit of a shelf and we’re going to fire this into it and you’ll see at the end it explodes like that

But this rocket which has a flight duration of 1 and doesn’t have that star it’ll go and then it’ll just disappear once it is done and the flight duration of three will go and go for a lot longer in fact so long that it shoots off in a crazy direction

Because uh it’s still propelling into that block there so all you have to do in order to use these fireworks is to go up to a high enough uh place that you can start your elytra fall and then click on the firework and you are sent

High up into the air and a at a very amazing speed you can see here we go actually let me go back here we go again and this is the flight duration of three so you can see that it is it allows infinite elytra flight so i just did a

Flight duration of one there so you can kind of see the difference in timing between the two rockets so that was one let me do three you can really see it lasts quite a lot longer now i want to show something off and this is the firework that has the

Blue explosion at the end let’s go ahead and do it now you’ll see it explodes at the end and it really did a lot of damage to me i am down three and a half hearts because of it so we can do it one more time here this is the other one and

Boom there we go another a lot of hearts down so you don’t want to use any firework rockets that have an explosion at the end otherwise they will actually hurt quite a lot now a few things to keep in mind and let me go into f5 mode is that the game will take

Priority if you’re clicking a block so if i am falling and which i was just a little bit there and i click a block it’s going to fire it off into the air but if i’m falling and i don’t click a block then i can fire the rocket in it will propel the

Elytra forward so you want to keep that in mind that if you are flying and you’re trying to go and you click a block uh it will actually fire the block it’ll fire off of the block before it propels the elytra forward so get a flying with this new edition i

Think it’s super duper powerful if you get really good at your electrode you can just run jump get into the electric position and use rockets to soar off without any type of fall at all it’s really really amazing and this makes searching for new biomes super simple or super long it makes

Basically rail obsolete as long as you have elytra and a few rockets of course this is very end game because you have to defeat the dragon in order to get elytra but wow it is a big game changer uh you know game changer because it’s a
