OP Early Game Strategy in Modded Minecraft Ep. 20

what’s going on everybody welcome back to another all the mods 9 video today we’re going to be creating our first thermogenerator which is the starter version in the power lineup um you can see right here this is the thermog generator it goes all the way down from starter down to Nitro which will be beneficial later on but I don’t think by that point we’ll be needing the Nitro once we get you know further into the power generation of things so to be able to make a thermogenerator we’re going to go into the mining Dimension real quick to get away from those that annoying zombie which I’m going to end up moving um we’re going to need a couple things so we’re going to need three dialectric paste um this is just for the actual generator so we need three dialectric paste two basic capacitor tinies one dialectric casing and three thermopl plates so to make this we’re going to need for these three right here we’re going to need two coal one clay one B blaze powder and that makes a total of 16 so we should be good on dialectric paste now once we get into the um the basic capacitors to make the two basic capacitors that we need for a singular thermog generator we’re going to need a basic capacitor regular size one so to make this though we are going to need two more two dialectric paste four iron ingots and a block of redstone and then the last thing is the uh whole dialectric casing is two of these dialectric rods which just requires six dialectric paste and three bars which turns it into a uh eight dialectric rods and then we are going to turn I think two of them in yeah two of them into the horizontal rod for the dialectric casing now of course we do need dialectric casings for um something else within here if I’m not mistaken no we don’t okay so the thermos the thermo uh paste we need four Redstone four blaze powder and one basic D basic capacitor for that so let’s go ahead and take a look at everything that we’re going to actually need to do this and I did go ahead and create two iron furnaces here and that’s why I have these two augments um which we will work on later on these aren’t necessarily critically important right now let’s go back out into the Overworld since I’m done explaining what we’re going to be doing and grab what we need for the uh for the inevitable you know beautiful Thermo generator that we’re going to be making so of course we need some Redstone so let’s just grab this stack of redstone right here because that should be plenty uh we’re going to need a stack of coal for the uh um dialectric paste and then we’re going to need some clay which I’m pretty sure I have Clay in here somewhere and if not we can just go down to the uh water below our Tower here and collect the clay actually might not have any clay I have a clay block which I think I can put a clay block into actually don’t know how I can do this I don’t think you can turn a clay block back into regular clay what I mean you smelt it turns into terracotta I think it’s an enrichment chamber that if you put it into an enrichment chamber it’ll turn it back into four clay balls yeah so we do not have regular clay but we do have a shovel and a dream so let’s head down here and then see if we can find some clay of course I got to keep an eye on the uh the immediate area because I really don’t feel like dealing with uh that that mean guy um am I really in an area that does not have any clay under under water there some shrimp over there that’s nice um let’s see here maybe there’s some down here that is a terrifying sound I might actually be in an area that does not have any um any clay maybe there’s some on this side hopefully yeah boy going to be really I think I see some over there I think I see some right here too and then we’ll go [Music] down have to remember I do not have my um um my a modium shovel I think there’s some more over here yes there is sweet okay so that should be enough let’s go ahead and head back into our Tower hopeing that’s hoping that’s enough this clay no that’s salt block this is about to be night time good good good good thing we’re uh going to focus on other things and of course the blaze powder is going to be not necessarily a problem cuz we do have a couple more blaze rods um but should we should be okay we should be okay so I’m only going to try to make as much as I need Blue Moon Rises you feel lucky oh that’s nice okay um blaze powder each Blaze Rod turns into two blaze powder so we just need one so we need let’s see um let’s do this get rid of that get rid of that we’ll do this this and this that makes our 16 16 of those so we’ll just kind of hold on to that for the time being um then we’ll look at our basic capacitors here so we’re going to need a block of redstone which we can make we’ll make two of these CU we will need inevitably we will inevitably need two of them um wait we might actually not no we won’t okay cool okay so we have those now we need this which means we need to make eight of these which means we need some iron which I don’t actually remember how to make I could just click on it it’ll show me there we go and we’ll to make two of these and into the horizontal ones and now we can make our dialectric dialectric casing and then now we need to make these guys so we’ll need three of these that means we need 12 blaze powder I think we have enough blaze rods to make 12 blaze powder I think we have just enough oh boy oops um okay so we need [Music] um two more tiny ones so yeah we will have to go back out to the um beautiful okay so we will absolutely have to go back out to the uh I need to get urite to be able to open that quest line but that’s fine uh we will inevitably need to go out to the um back to the end or the Nether and um let’s uh let’s do this right here that does not seem to be doing what I needed to be doing so what we’ll do now is we’ll go back here grab our bucket we’ll go to sleep we’ll grab our bucket and we’ll go back to our lava source to grab cuz I think I I don’t have the back command in this one never mind um I should have used that other lava throw this stuff in here while we can I just want to at least have okay um let’s see so so actually it’s going to have us create those before we even get down here anyway that’s fine um let’s see here do I have any way stones around lava cuz I’m kind of lazy and really don’t y right over here my Southeast beautiful I hear some lava below me don’t like how close that sounds oh hey beautiful works for me right so let’s throw our sand into one of these chests and now we’ll go back here cuz I think um if I place the lava directly under this block right here it’s not generating any power I really don’t feel like having this break when I when I take it apart but basically it’s supposed to um placed over a heat Source there are currently three blocks you can place this over a magma block which produces the lowest seat a lava source block which Pro produces a little better uh let’s do this real quick let’s grab that and then put some dirt right there there and there and then there just so I don’t lose this okay oh no okay okay that’s fine okay um so we’ll have to figure out another solution for this maybe if I do it like uh like this right here where I just put the lava directly into the ground right here maybe and [Music] then then this right here no it’s still not hm interesting curious okay so I was bamboozled what okay uh sorry that noise was made over there I was really confused um can’t obviously do anything with blazing Crystal just yet so a lava source block was just I mean I don’t know what it means by placed over okay so a magma block what is the what’s the ingredients for a magma block for magma cream slime ball and I don’t have any more place powder how un ne how unfortunate is that um interesting so I have to look into that because I was pretty sure that if you just place the thermal generator over top of like a lava source doesn’t have to be pulling the lava source I don’t think I think there’s also um it’s not storming it’s just rain right I don’t want anything to do with you might be able to just go find a magma block real quick I mean I don’t necessarily need the best power source right now um let’s go over here I don’t know if there’s going to be a uh Magma Cube over here probably the best place would be the um the netherite I think my nether portal is in there there I think there might be a magma block or two close to my nether spawn yeah I think [Applause] so oh hello yes there is I also have some dirt you want some dirt buddy why are you shaking are you okay there also a lot right there um I just need one for the time being that’s fine well we come back for that later we we’ll do more later I’m not too worried about um I’m not going to hurt you Strider all right anyway um yeah cool easy peasy lemon squeezy am I right obviously the next thing I want to do here is collect the sugarcane right here yum yeah um I’ll figure out this whole lava source block later um cuz I’m not entirely sure what that means does it have to be like a fullon like block like a physical block of hard lava or something I don’t know I mean I’m I’m sure I’ll I’m sure it’ll be fine so we can throw our magma block right there that should be it’s not giving it any power okay so that’s still not giving it any power oh you know why it’s not giving it any power I forgot I’m an idiot I’m an idiot that’s on me I genuinely forgot all about this so we need to do a very uh very quick little task not difficult um we need to create a sink a sink is three iron ingots four five terracotta and a bucket of water so I’m going to run down here real quick and grab a singular bucket of water because I like to be extremely cautious with my resources obviously that was a lie um I just don’t have any more buckets and I’m too lazy to make more even though I’m about to pull out three iron ingots anyway regardless um then we’re going to grab our clay and turn three of these into terra cotta one two three we’ll change you out right there we’ll do this and then we’ll need a fluid pipe so we go back to well we have Universal pipes let’s grab our Universal pipe real quick um where are my Universal pipes did I put them in my storage in there I think I probably put them in the storage on there that’s fine we need five what am I doing need five terra cotta three iron ingots that’s right um it’s gracious one two three I had something in here somewhere didn’t I okay trying remember oh well that was awkward oh I was looking for my pipes that’s right um pipe wrench we’ll need that pretty sure yeah I’m pretty sure they’re in my um oops pretty sure they’re in my uh storage system in here they’re not where are they oh goodness gracious uh there why did I put them in there I’m this is I’m so unorganized goodness gracious okay here we go now we will come back over here um I’m going to test this with the Magma Cube and then who do this right [Music] here it’s pulling water now it’s grabbing energy so now let’s do this real quick and we will test this Theory out because I’m assuming it’s probably because I just am in just was an idiot so it’s at 4,100 what oh I was grabbing water I could grab water from that okay so it is going up Okay cool so we can plop the dirt back down right there and this works perfectly fine so now we have a little bit of a better don’t ask questions we have a little bit of a better solution here um and we can technically take this over here and pull power from here as well um you’ll see this kind of stores this uh doesn’t necessarily do anything good or doesn’t go up or down or anything but you can see right there it’s still you know it’s still stuck so I mean utilizing those three Fe for the grid and the disc drive which is right here um yeah that’s good um the next thing we’ll have to do here you can see right here it is storing generating 40 Fe per tick and it is Max Extract of 160 Fe per tick so the next step is to connect them right here and then we need to turn these into factories so let’s go ahead and go back to our tips and tricks uh grab whatever we get from here which is a fluid pipe beautiful okay this one right here so we will throw these in here just so that we have them but we need to create our Factory augment which is four stone of some sort two Redstone two paper and a piston let’s go back to the overw world and we will get started on that aspect we need to create two of them that means we need eight um eight stone of some sort I’m I’m just going to use regular Cobblestone I just don’t remember what I did with it we’ll just grab the stack of 38 a piston is going to require four stone as well with planks and Redstone so we have a stack of 64 right there so we should be good on Redstone um and then it needed planks which I think I have in one of these chests around here somewhere right there boom so now we can come back over here we can create our oh wait we need our iron ingot let just grab a stack of that so now we can create our piston so we need two of these CU we’re making two augments now we need to make I guess we need just like actual regular like fullon Stone not just let’s do one actual stone um I [Music] assume yeah just actual stone not uh not what I was trying to use Cobblestone don’t think I have just regular Stone in here anywhere that’s fine not a problem okay so we’ll basically make these two augments and the other thing we need is paper so we’ll need uh eight paper right here we just grab a stack of those and we’ll wait for this to get finished but yeah so this is basically to to turn this into yeah this is to turn this into a factory so that we can actually use power rather than use uh fuel like coal and things like that so now we have that so we can make our first one and that of course you know finishes up a quest that gives us an achievement beautiful okay of course the um the speed augment beneficial because it Cooks up the uh it speeds up the cook cook time but it does use twice as much fuel which means power um in this case we don’t necessarily need that right now but it will be something that we will utilize in the future so once we get more resources once we have more availability of the resources then we’ll use that in the in the future so let’s go ahead and make our second one here and we will go back into our mining Dimension and then we will turn these two into factories really easily best part about it you just go over here right click and then boom so this is going to start power ing this up this is going to slowly um utilize a significant amount of that power uh luckily this is still pulling power from that right there um which hopefully it’s not it is actually pulling from there um I might have to do something about that so it’s not using the same power as this which to do that what we got to do here is grab our wrench and our Universal pipe real quick and then all we have to do here is [Music] M actually I wonder it’s going back up that’s not going back up is this fully powered this is not fully powered they’re once they get fully powered we’ll be fine um and thankfully I mean this adds additional slots but what I’m going to likely end up doing is set like basically splitting up these uh these pipes to work a little bit differently um H think if I put one right there and I do this this they should stop those from using this maybe they’re both fully power this is regenerating the power uh best I mean worst case scenario we’ll just um you know we we’ll just I don’t know um we’ll create more thermal generators not a problem um so yeah so now we have some fuel capability or some furnace capabilities here so that’s that’s beneficial we can turn these to Auto split on and of course we can also set it to pull and uh push directly from the network itself but we can start basically pulling our items over we would likely and not likely we will absolutely need to make more discs uh disc space because we’re not really it’s it’s going to be it’s it’s going to be a challenge getting all of our uh all of our stuff into a singular 1K disc and to do that of course I mean it’s just creating another one 1K or creating a 4K disc which takes up a lot of resources but very worth it in the long run so we’re on the right path we’re we’re we’re definitely kind of making the right move here um let me just get rid of that Cobblestone CU it’s uh looks tacky I mean this entire section looks tacky I don’t know what I’m talking about um actually you know what I’m G to plop this on top because I like to have like oh goodness gracious I’m gonna change the size too um let’s go ahead and start just grabbing some items preferably the um the items that we’re going to need sooner rather than later um mostly our iron and our um quartz um processors Redstone I should have some more Redstone in here somewhere right some right there got some more ender pearls cuz I thought I did I not oh I’m just stupid okay cool um I’m just looking for more red stone real quick there we are okay so obviously I need to drop something I just I forgot that that was a thing that I didn’t anyway um scrambled egg need you yeah pretty simple pretty uh pretty pretty beneficial it’ll work out um to kind of show you now that was just that was a lot of resources and we’re already 84% full so we definitely need to create a a 4K and that is probably what we’ll do in the next video um because it’s coming up on the end of this one but we can go ahead and kind of talk about what we’re going to need to get before we jump into that video so let’s go ahead and grab the information that we’ll need here so to make a singular 4K disc 4K storage disc we’re going to need three 1K storage discs and I think I already have one made we’re going to need four basic I think those are called uh processors and then one and uh quartz enriched iron quartz enriched iron and then one Redstone yeah it’s beautiful okay so to make the 1K we’re going to need for each we’re going to need four silicon silicone we going to need one quartz enriched iron obviously one Redstone and then we’re going to need three glass which I think we have most of that stuff we could probably go ahead and just get started on it but I think that like I said is probably going to be a job job for the next video um we’re we’re pretty much on the right train of thought here we have everything we need we just need to kind of make the move and and and start working it but having these two furnaces here pulling power I’m actually curious of how much power it will pull um I’m actually a little worried about that but I think it’ll be okay um and then over the course of the next couple of videos we’ll start doing a significant more about amount of resource collection um another big thing I need to look at here is the uh is the chunks so I do need to load this chunk as well um because this is also our power source for the time being yeah so we will uh continue on but I appreciate all of yall support everything that you guys have done uh thanks again to Wolf dances for the uh the advice to go get the allodium with a um enderium pickaxe would not have thought about that would not have figured that out I would have been looking long and difficultly for for the annoying aspect of just finding a stupid smithing template which is going to come in due time but it shouldn’t be too much of a problem uh once we actually get better gear and
