Landovian Acts Party withdraws from 2024 presidential elections
Diminished membership and lack of suitable candidates
The Landovian Acts Party has announced its withdrawal from the upcoming 2024 presidential elections. The party’s leader, Mayor Marco Fuentes, cited a diminished membership and the inability to nominate suitable candidates for various positions as the reasons behind this decision. According to the Landovian Constitution, all three major political parties should have a candidate for the presidential elections, representing the leftist, centrist, and rightist political views. The Supreme Court will consider the party’s withdrawal after the primary elections in December, if authorized beforehand.
Political affiliations may change
Congressman Henry Kizko of the Fusion Party noted that members of Congress may switch political affiliations under specific circumstances, such as a change of leadership and a valid reason to do so. This flexibility allows for adaptability within the political landscape.

These advisories emphasize the necessity for Landovians to exercise maximum precautions due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. Partial lunar eclipse witnessed in Landova
Astronomical phenomenon
Last Saturday, October 28th, Landova witnessed a partial lunar eclipse. This event was visible across Afro-Eurasia and the Western Pacific, showcasing the moon’s closest maximum eclipse over the Earth’s shadow, known as the Umbra, at 6:14 PM local time. A partial lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth moves between the Sun and Moon, but the three celestial bodies do not form a straight line in space. The Landova Meteorological Agency informs that the next eclipse will take place on March 5, 2024, which will be a penumbral lunar eclipse, and on April 8, 2024, a near-total solar eclipse in Landova, a very rare event that should not be missed.
