Hey guys I’m Cody the editor buying past like pro and today I’m gonna teach you how to disable wave and drain in minecraft but first let me tell you why it’s worth knowing how to do this well pretty obvious disabling waving terrain will I you to get much more FPS in the Game or an exact amount I’m sure it’ll change from system system though now for my second reason I’m calling out to all you minecraft cinema dudes out there you’re gonna want to hear this check out this footage which do you like better you well I guess it could be personal Preference but for me I’d rather side with the first clip when pulling off longer time-lapse clips I’d always like to have the waving that’s disabled just so it doesn’t distract from the actual scene and recording so now that you know might be a good thing to disable way From terrain let’s get started learning how to disable wavin terrain at will before we begin let me tell you that the process may seem a wee bit longer first but with some experience you could rush through this in less than a minute first things first we’re going to need to Locate the shaders pack file itself so do as I do and we’ll all turn on a okay a scene in the example video locate your run by typing and run in the Start menu when you click run this one will open up to move forward you need to type in % AppData % this will allow you to reach your dot minecraft folder and this folder holds your shaders packs now I know what you’re thinking that’s a lot of shaders text well yeah no need to panic we’re only working with these four examples at the same time I brought These four shaders packs from my desktop and extracted the files using WinRAR in this tutorial we’ll be disabling terrain on all these shaders so you can get a pretty good idea on how to do this on nearly all shaders packs we’ll start with the suits first all right Locate the text file called G buffers underscore terrain for editing the file I’d strongly advise you to go download notepad plus plus because well look at the footage notepad plus plus just looks far less confusing compared to the original notepad when you’ve open the file I want you to locate these these Texts or codes or if we want to call them are basically your on and off switches that determine whether the code is active or not adding two slashes to the beginning of the text will disable the waiving terrain code meaning away from terrain but for that specific thing in this case with For this video we’re disabling everything and I mean it as you can see this is what the text file looks like when all the way the terrain is disabled and in game this is what you get no wavy terrain if you want wave and terrain turn back On just move the slashes as you can see here and then you have back on pretty simple for the rest of the example shaders packs the process is no different sub will cruise through them just like we did the soos yeah I’m gonna go with Silver’s same process open up the G Buffers underscore terrain locate the text slightly different could be more it could be less to turn off but it’s still the same aspect the disabled add in your slashes and bam everything is off to enable the waving turn again just remove the slashes like before for the last two exact same process Locate the text file and add in your slashes to the beginning of the text the Train is off that is how it’s done if this video was of any use to you then do hit that like button and before you go don’t forget to check out my channel for Some more minecraft tutorials some pro cinematics let me see I think there’s some plan as I do in there somewhere anyway that’s all for me I’m Cody and this is past life pro where creativity is always a part of my life as it will be for yours alright see you guys Video Information
