Hey guys welcome back to another episode of mastermind tutorials i am chad allen from gamerchat and today i’m gonna be showing you guys how to edit slash create your very own minecraft skin we are actually on the skin decks and this makes it really really simple for

You to create and edit your very own minecraft skin so i’m going to give you guys the basics of this um this whole entire website and then show you guys what to do and how you can edit your own skin so i have my skin pulled up here so first things first

Over here is your color this is your color chart this is all the colors that you can actually choose from and then after you choose let’s say you choose a yellow then you can go over here and you can drag this around and you can pick whatever color that you want whatever

Shade that you want um this up here is your toolbar so this right here is your actual pen tool so if you click on this um this is gives you your color and you can click on the skin and you can start the color you just

Click and drag and it starts to color your skin or whatever color that you want this tool right here actually picks takes the color that you have it takes like two shades lighter and two shades darker and then whenever you color in your skin it kind of mixes all those

Colors together kind of gives you like a really cool pixelated look so that’s fun to play with it kind of the way that this hair is right here on the skin this right here is your undo tool so if you make a really big mistake you just

Click that and you can undo it this right here is your redo tool or your repeat tool or fix tool and if you undo something you can redo it this right here is your absorb tool so if you need to absorb a certain color you just pick

Whatever block you want let’s use this white oops i had this orb picked you just click on this you pick on whatever color you want to absorb let’s do the skin color and it absorbs the color and then you um can color with that color see just with your pen tool

This right here is your eraser tool so if you wanted to trace something completely you can do that whenever you erase something here on the skin decks it completely takes it away to nothing so you can see through it all so it kind of makes it super hollow

And whenever you like start off with scratch of a skin like whenever you start from scratch that’s exactly how it will start it’s like that uh this tool these two tools right here are really really good tools for shading so let’s say you want to shade your hair

Your hat your pants whatever you want to shade um we’re going to go ahead and shade this hat here just to show you guys so here’s my color if i do this one right here it makes it one shade lighter so you can work on shading it so see it

Brings it one shade of this green lighter click it again and it makes it lighter again click it again and it gets lighter and lighter and lighter and you can keep shading until pretty much until you get to a white color and then same thing with this tool right

Over here if you click on this one it makes it one shade darker so see right here it’s making it one shade darker you can fill that in and then click it again it makes it darker again and then darker and it’ll get darker and darker until you get to black

Anyways that’s just a really really cool way to shade your skins shaved skins shaded skins always look really good so i definitely recommend playing with that little toolbar right there um one thing cool right here you have steve and which is the four like pixels

And then you can also click on if you click the down arrow goes to alex makes three pixels on their arms so alex now like the new alex skins has smaller arms because girls were saying that their arms look too big so i mean you can use this if you’re a

Girl or if you’re a boy but if you you can just change the portions of your arm for now i imagine eventually they’re gonna change that you’ll be able to do more with this but for now if you wanna have bigger arms you can or if you wanna have smaller

Arms you can do that this right here is actually a reset skin tool um so you can reset your skin if you want to and reset skin just completely just takes it all away so it’s all hollow just like this and that’s if you want to start a skin completely from scratch

These tools right over here this is your body tool oops this is your body tool and this is your overlay tool so overlay is how if you see people that wear hoodies or that have like headphones or they have ears or they have anything maybe a tail

They use to overlay so we got the main body selected right now if you click overlay as you can see i’ve got some things overlaid so my headphones right now are an overlay and the back of my hat is on overlay but i’ve also seen people do

Like hoodies like they have a hoodie that’s on overlay um so they just like absorb let’s say we’re gonna absorb this black and then we’ll just color this in and people just kind of draw a hoodie in here for themselves it’s just kind of a cool way

To make your skin look a little bit more three and a little bit more a little bit more 3d and a little bit more interesting looking so people use this uh overlay tool for all kinds of things um so you have that option and then let’s see let’s turn off overlay this

Right here if you click it it turns off or on that part of your body so you can have all your body on or maybe you can work on your head you can do that this is an excellent excellent tool because i’ve seen so many skins like where

Someone forgets to color like underneath their their head or maybe they forget to color the inside of their arm because when it’s like this and use color you don’t think about all the insides but you do have your insides to color with so you need to make sure that you definitely select

Um turn off these so you can make sure you get the inside of your arms make sure you get the top of your pants because whenever you’re running into minecraft and you forget to color the inside of your leg people are going to be able to see it really really easily

Um and then if you have an account you can upload your skin to skin deck so maybe if you want to save your skin and make different skins for people you can do that or you can just download your computer normally i just download your to my computer you don’t have to have

Your own account um color on the skin decks and make your own skin so i normally just download it to the computer and then it saves your computer and then you can go on to your minecraft account and you can change your skin as much as you want

So that is just some really really cool things that you can do with the skin decks here so you can just pick a random skin you can edit it or you can totally start from scratch to get super creative and i highly recommend you guys get creative

And make up your own skins um a few things i did want to show you if you guys ever seen i know a lot of people have seen like a lot of players have bangs and stuff and they have like 3d looking bangs everyone that has a type thing

Definitely use this little overlay button right here so all they do is they select their color here we’ll click this one and then they just play like this and then whenever they actually play in the game all their bangs are gonna look like they’re 3d and they’re popped out a

Little bit further from their skin like the hoodie and like my headphones and things like that so the overlay tool i definitely recommend um the overlay tool because it makes your skin look really really cool all right really quick i have erased my skin i was going to show you guys how to

Do a few different facial expressions on your skin there’s tons of stuff you can do with this but sometimes people have the worst time trying to create a face so i want to show you guys some different options you guys can do to create a very own unique face and to

Make this very very simple and then you can like add on to it if you want to so let’s just go ahead and make like a super super happy face so this right here is a cool way you can make her eyes this is or his or her eyes look really really squinty

So they’re kind of like circle circular even though you’re doing it with blocks and then you can just do a really really simple smile uh for this little guy here there we go so there’s like a really cool facial expression if you really want like a really happy looking facial

Expression again this is just super super basic but that’s just a really fun cute idea now let’s say you want to do something that’s like really really like chibi or maybe you wanna do like a baby type character or you just want your eyes to be really big

So of course you just want to make your eyes look really big so just go ahead and just make them really really big and i know her eyes this or her his or her eyes look really really low but i’m gonna show you guys how it’s not gonna

Look so low here in a minute um now let’s go and pick a color we’re gonna do blue let’s do let’s just fill this in with wait let’s do this color blue right here there we go he’s just looking kind of down there we’re going black pupils here

And then so he’s got really really big colorful eyes um so i know his forehead looks really really big two things you can do with this one you can give them some cool eyebrows like some kind of weird like facial expression again so let’s just make like let’s do like this

And then maybe like this he’s got he’s like huh that’s weird so he’s got a cool like eyebrow facial expression going on before we redo that um next you can also add like some cool bangs on so let’s give her some like blonde hair let’s do this and we’ll just

Get lots and lots of hair up here so it looks like he has really big bangs kind of make this go over the eyes here a little bit so that’ll make your eyes look a little bit um smaller as well and then of course you can do your overlay and you

Can add even more bangs on here to really really give your character some things and then so there you go it’s got some really big fun cartoon looking eyes there all right let’s turn out the overlay actually let’s just let’s reset the skin yeah let’s reset it

All right overlay let’s just color the face let’s say i want to make them blue you can make your character blue you can do absolutely whatever you want all right let’s change this blue let’s make them blue here or at least a space blue maybe you want to make like a fun like

Dreamworks character or something like that you can totally do that the options are really endless when it comes to this which is why i love this program um now let’s say you want to make him smiling or something you’re gonna give him like a big smile i’ve

Seen a lot a lot of skins that kind of look like he’s got like a half smile oops let’s do that so it’s kind of like that it looks like they’re kind of half smile and you feel on the bottom with black and it kind of looks like the top is teeth

You do something like that or something like that um i kind of like it where it’s all white though like he’s like yay um and then you can maybe give them some smaller eyes they don’t always need to be big eyes and small eyes and then how
