Hello everybody my name is pearlescent marine and welcome back to another video we are back with the viking series today with mythical sausage and he’s here nice donkey you got there by the way yeah he was on command he was just saying hello before i said hello he’s a trained donkey he’s beautiful He’s beautiful he’s my favorite he’s going to be in every episode from now on so in case you guys didn’t know he’s a little bit of a refresher from the last episode for one there is this beautiful windmill behind me and we also have some pig pens as well that was on Sausages videos you have to if you haven’t seen those guys make sure to give them a look the windmill is on my channel and that farm is over on sausages so give that a little watch either way we’re on episode three today and the topic right now is we’re gonna be building a Mine shaft in this little area like we mentioned in the last episode we’re gonna get this thing kind of kicking off right here now pearl what this is the perfect mine look at this little corner here it is begging for a little diagonal build it is i’m ready the donkey’s ready the Pig’s ready they’re ready you know what pearl what it’s like eight o’clock in the morning for you are you awake right now yeah i’m getting there i’m getting there we switched today uh yeah instead it’s eight o’clock for me and it’s well it’s not as light for you but no it’s 5 30 Bro i’ve had four cups of coffee right now i’ve had food okay i’ve built stuff right i’m ready to go i’m energized pearl more than before let’s go have all this energy okay let’s just get started guys let’s get started on this build and see what we can make out of it Pearl you ready let’s get out of here let’s go build something what is happening i don’t know i’m crying i’m flying this pig is having the best time of his life oh it’s like bungee jumping for pigs i don’t feel this oh no okay well oh pig i’m sorry that poor pig How could you i didn’t know i was going too fast i’m sorry absolutely i guess at the time of its life literally the only time of its life okay okay so we were looking at some ideas and we we we really couldn’t actually find much in the way of nordic mine Shafts so we’re kind of maybe thinking about a little bit of dwarvish right yeah yeah i don’t think the vikings did any minds it’s not our fault yeah so we’re gonna have to get by in a couple of styles here unfortunately if we want to make this you know Survival friendly and everything like that so like go on thinking of a diagonal i don’t think we even really need to use much wool today because it’s pretty much just all natural strokes that’s it that’s all the wool that we need all right step done uh let’s go to the second step Well if we got our wood placement down so we’re gonna do like um what are we thinking we want to make some wood in there as well are we going to do like we’re doing like some stone pillars or something yeah thick old pillars would be perfect over here Yeah let’s try this and see how this goes i can okay i can see that i can see that kind of coming that looks really good and then look we need to fill all this in a little bit fill this in yeah this part back here too though yeah this little gap Oh yeah yeah yeah we got a terraform up around this so that it’s a bit more of a a hill i think yeah because we don’t want you know anybody it’s a poor viking just minding their own business and then they slip from up here and get inside the mine shafts by accident They’re just gonna slip and suddenly they’re falling all the way to bedrock is what you’re saying yeah yeah yeah yeah there’s gonna be a horrible death and we don’t want any lawsuits in viking times they i don’t know what they do to you but it’s not good i don’t think And then okay can anyone in the comments if you guys know viking history or nordic history what was what was the punishment for crimes back then let us know in the comments below i’m curious about about some history get us some you know let’s learn a little bit about the If i had to guess i would think is either a spoon okay they get spooned or uh just very very uh nervous tickling like they tickle they make you giggle till you pass out okay something like that am i am i under an execution order then yeah you’re gonna get tickled Watch out right now you get ready i got a feather over here from the from the chicken coop oh gosh yeah we’ve got a lot of chickens happening i wonder how many eggs are being produced i want to see oh god probably too many we’re not going To ever need any more in survival if we see something fun watch look at this ready what one two three oh that’s brilliant we’ve upped the tips that the tick speed on this server and it’s just so satisfying it’s like when when you break down on it’s connected to the other tree too what do you mean that works pretty well yeah most of it you left a floating Right here sausage disappointed wait there we go break this one what am i breaking we’re gonna have to uh yeah we’re gonna have to terraform that over the top over the top yeah we to overhang it a little bit make it look attached we were thinking like a diagonal crane off this side too once again not much reference for that In the viking area uh era so uh we’re having to take a bit of a guess uh we can yeah we can kind of make it bend down a little bit yeah yeah over the doorway i just noticed the haircut it looks like it looks like uh It’s a haircut it does it’s all it’s got a little head green’s hair right there Oh no wait what kind of mouth does he usually have what do you guys even have actually maybe he doesn’t i don’t think he has a mouth this is this green’s face let me see your mouth oh we have some google you have no idea no it’s just just hair and eyes the Black eyes the black guys well it’s opposite in this scenario no we would have to like fill in the back too completely fill in the bag oh no oh no sausage sausage hold on it’s happening it’s too late now we can’t stop it once it starts I don’t know if that’s even helping to be honest i feel like it worked out better as a a silhouette yeah it doesn’t look like green as much anymore it’s scary oh god that’s kind of terrifying bit that you broke to get out that looks like a weird mouth Put a smile on that face oh wow that’s creepy man this is creepy what if we wanted to give it a mustache oh that was a moment for sure you got to curve it down there here it is oh my god what happened to this it’s an amalgamation of green and mumbo vine Shaft right now what are we going up green i’m sorry if you’re seeing this i i’m sorry yeah it’s so kawaii right there that’s it yeah i think we’re done with our mine shaft i think we’re good to call that one a date gg um thank you for watching everybody thanks for watching So i think instead of like hanging the dirt over we could potentially pop it up over it yeah puff it up take it yeah kind of take it backwards yeah and then kind of just show and spiky spiky bit it yeah potentially yeah that would look really cool Actually let’s try that yes do it and then we could very much just like start like instead of terrain we can probably just do stone in the middle right yeah get the yeah get the curve to it that’s what i’m thinking they’re pretty awkward right now okay i Think that works so well because a bit of structure instead of everything overgrown isn’t too bad i wonder if like we should break the tip here and then instead make some sort of fancy design on this bit you do a little nordic aren’t you you think you think Yeah yeah yeah it’s just there’s something about this whole thing that just doesn’t feel right i’m trying to work out some kinks stinky thunky thank you thunky make it more ruined mike yeah just honestly just i think maybe turning it into ruins is probably gonna be the yeah better case scenario here again Okay so when we were playing around a little bit here uh we’ve you know we’ve gone in with it with a bit more of a ruins look we tried experimenting of course with the little uh little horns on the top but didn’t really quite work out too well so going With more of a wooden wooden pipe look like i still is it it goes with the ruined stones like a ruined wooden and ruined stone look yeah yeah we just experimenting you know we’ve never done anything like this so far i like it i’m happy right now at Least it doesn’t have a face in it it doesn’t know it doesn’t look like gray anymore not this way there’s a face in it now there’s two eyes there are soul eyes and then there’s like the giant gaping mouth and then the barrel knows it’s a villager it’s it’s a viking Villager okay so we’re thinking um i think we’re gonna keep going with this kind of ruined look and spread it around and probably just create some little ruined pieces and then hopefully maybe some statues off the side potentially yeah yeah we could split this off a little bit so it’s not like completely Joined yeah yeah and then we got a little bit of room between that and the little statues and then we also need to do like a little path going up we can just do that with the corster maybe decorate with some leaves i think oh i would love a little bit of leafish Yes a bit a little bit of leafy itch going on i’m going to do a little bit more texturing here so it’s not just all stones yeah okay so we’re just going to do those little pieces real quick guys so it’s fairly straightforward it’s a process just a bunch of little Stone ruin bits and we’ll come back and show you what we’ve done all right so we’ve been doing a few little details kind of experimenting with how to bring it all together we decided to add a little bit more wood around the place like for me i put like This little garden out the front here just to carry that spruce down a bit because we had a lot of stone going on and of course we’ve got these little little statues that kind of look like i love them they’ve got little bunny ears a little doggy ears on them Oh it’s a hybrid bunny kitty cat rabbit it’s amazing maybe yeah they’re viking rabbits that’s it yes that’s it viking rap we’re gonna have to have rabbits all over the village now i think yeah i’ll bring them hold on so we got that so it’s a little statue It’s very hard to think of a statue of that scale i could fiddle with it for ages honestly yeah that small is really hard to pull it off without putting that observer face that we had earlier yeah i tried the observer face and it just seems like a little too small Like have a look i’m gonna try and do an example right here hold on let’s just stick an observer face right there yeah it doesn’t quite work out by the way it’s still modern yeah it’s got its own little nose and face like mouth too Which kind of throws it off i think a little bit yeah so we’ll just kind of keep it normally like that yeah so that’ll do and then sausage has been working away on the inside oh yeah come on here pearl yeah oh look at the little bunnies Oh cute they’re fine they’re not gonna get into the lava we’re fine oh boy that makes me nervous okay look at this place though there’s two entrances right you wanna explain what you’ve done here oh yeah instead of having one diagonal entrance going all the way down because That’s just torture if you’re trying to do that in survival why not branch out in two different directions so you could do two different branch mines one going this way we’re going this way and just branching out through the whole entire world it’s so cool yeah everybody Knows whenever you come back from from mining you’re gonna have a bunch of uh stuff what are you gonna bring you’re gonna get a bunch of iron right you’re gonna get a bunch of gold you’re gonna put it on this in this spot right here look at that Oh okay i’ll i’m gonna i was gonna say you know who needs those you just wanna smelt stone right that’s what’s all you all you’re mine for smell stone you want to smell the good stuff the iron all around here the gold look at this and and we have a little porridge right Here look at this perfectly safe sausage sausage but it’s so cool this is very survival friendly right you can definitely see this being built around it is you know it’s not too bad we did put a load stone on the front here um so you know if you wanted to set up a Compass to direct to your minds maybe you’ve got like a map right maybe someone’s new and you’ve got a lobby and you don’t give bunnies to sausage to own because he’s probably going to kill them just like he did with the pig went to go eat their breakfast I think they’re dead either no no no they’re fine they’re you’re in valhalla now apparently yeah they’re taking a place so what i was saying is like they could have like a town hall with all the different compasses pointing to different parts on the islands And you can always pick one of those up and go okay maybe i want to go to a mines let me grab this compass and off they go you know that type of thing i know a lodestone is expensive but it is for four ancient debris From the nether you can just go down to y 15 in the nether and mine for a little bit it’s not too bad no it’s not bad enough especially since in this world we haven’t gone to the nether yet but bro that’s my section when we do the portal Exactly yeah we’re going to be doing the portal in sausages video so you make sure you check that out when that’s released yes we’ll go back in time okay we technically went back in time from then got the age of debris smelted it into the the the english and the sun you know That’s how we got the low stone exactly it’s fine yeah it’s fine okay well vikings we got some power you know it’s okay yeah you can always remember you can always remove it if you didn’t want the lodestone there but we’ve also done a little bit of Assault here in the pathway out the front now i i thought putting stone like flat stone on the bottom would be you know it kind of draw attention away from the build too much because we have a lot of stone going on so yeah a little bit of a darker variant Is a bit nice yeah and then some some polished black stone pressure plates just to i don’t know mix it up a little bit it’s a little bit darker to again drag that that darkness to the path instead of being being too light it’s i think i think it’s the perfect Entrance bro it’s perfect and it’s a perfect for analysis we don’t have grimstone exactly grimstone is the perfect balance between stone and and black stone i can’t wait for 4.17 yeah i’ll be back i’m going to 117. i’ll be back oh okay bye no i need you back we got some building Today fine what are we doing next what are we doing next pearl while i wait for 2017 to drop i was thinking because we have a lot of the stone and we also haven’t done them yet we can do some custom trees probably one on each side get rid of these trees at The back i reckon and just let the let the custom ones flourish so let’s kind of just give that a bit of a whirl so let’s go for it done okay you’re already starting i’m dreaming oh no it looks like a torch it’s a leaf torch it’s a tree torch yeah Oh perfect there we go now it’s it’s a tree torch oh that’s pure art all right let’s get to building some custom trees and we’ll be right back we’ll be right back we are back with a little bit more detail yes we did a little bit just a tad just a Tad you know we we started making the trees and we’ve got our two beautiful variations that we’ve done so far we’ll be doing more in the future so that we can put even more uh different tree types in there i mean we even got a couple of little Little tiny ones that we will make customs just to fill in some of the spaces as well so yeah it’s pronounced so good it looks more alive now it looks like more like a natural village now it feels like it’s being kind of encompassed and embraced instead of just Like just stuck there on the side of the terrain yeah with old minecraft generated trees we gotta get rid of everything one of these pearls every single one’s gold one oh gosh every single there’s poor vanilla generator trees sorry tree sorry for another trees you ain’t experiencing as pretty as our Trees i’m sorry i’ve also added like some little details around the place like these little um rocky like little rock holders yeah yeah they totally hold the rocks this one failed a little bit by the seams of it you know yeah that was a little broken it’s fine was yeah Something happened somebody kind of like you know tilted it over and they fell oh that looks even better there we go it looks like it’s falling out now there we go it broke someone’s someone broke it it broke real good it fell all the way to the side Oh boy there we go okay somebody’s got that they’re behaving badly yeah no one didn’t fix it so i got that and then of course we have all this pathway off to the side as well so what we’re going to do when it comes to sausages video Is his build is going to be up here taking up this lovely space up there it’s going to be beautiful that is going to be the portal oh wait it’s a border we need to get in there because technically we need to go there to get all the leather right that we’re using Yes and then the salt too all that kind of salt it’s fine it’s fine it’s fine so we’ve done that and just added a little bit of a small ruin kind of at the back here because the stone felt very centralized in the one spot i wanted to Kind of make it flow a bit more so we did a bit of that we’ve got like these brown fences as well to carry on with the wood throughout the builds just to split it up a bit and then we had to push in some terrain Yes well this build is beautiful it is it’s looking lovely we’ve got one more piece left to do though yes we do that is the crane we’ve left this spot nice and empty for it so it’s going to be a crane it’s actually going to angle over to this hole here So kind of like a really like deep hold uh mine all the way down to the mine shaft there’s some easy transportation for stone so that’s gonna be that there and i think that’ll be the last bit of the build so we’re gonna go try and build that it’s Gonna be diagonal we’ll work it out but we’ve got a nice girl just watch no no go ahead pearl no go get it no this is the team effort sausage i’m gonna stand right back here okay well a little like Yep indeed all right let’s go for it guys we’ll be back in a little bit hey you know what you know what sausage we’re done two and a half hours later we’re done we’re go on okay nevermind there we go look at this oh look at this it looks so perfect we had to add some like fences along this Pathway over here as well because it needed a bit more tying in so we’ve added some like fences some gardens we added another pillar to the right here just to carry over the structure a bit more like a ruins type of thing like they found some ruins and transformed it Got some of the wheelbarrows let’s pretend these are stones you know stones that’s not purple stone i use this thing as an outhouse in my hardcore world oh all right you’ve heard it here sausage poops in wheelbarrows phil you grabbed it oh you touched it pearl that’s nasty That’s like toilet paper that’s toilet paper right there pick up your toilet paper stop littering sorry sorry oh perfect there’s a trash can now yeah yeah okay anyway we’ve also got this little seating area out here it was a last minute addition kind of just to give them a place to sit In and relax after they’ve been mining with their with their long journeys they’ve also got a little pickaxe over here too they’re ready to go ready to go it’s lovely it’s the best pickaxe it’s brand new hasn’t been used yet yes i i’ve got a question that sausage yeah What are you holding yes the diamonds from all that money i went down to 12. oh okay that’s okay you’ve already got diamonds dang we only just built this thing this is this is an effective mine this is the best mine interest you could ever ever ever use because i The first thing i did when i went down to 12 per i found a whole vein of diamonds a whole vein okay i see and then about another vein and then another vein and you know what he’s going to celebrate by throwing it in here we don’t need him I bet your eyes kids about your eyes you don’t want to look at this you don’t want to look at this this is gorgeous ma18 plus all right don’t look at that i need them don’t look i’ll just keep it one i’ll just keep one of them Oh gosh that’s okay i’m gonna throw some nether right in there because it doesn’t man i’m making some netherride soup i’m making soup another right pearl we haven’t built the the portal yet we haven’t no but you know what we seem to have forgotten to talk about the the crane We built that in the last clip we just like walked past it like let’s forget this gigantic thing that we just made hey that’s a crane guys i can hear people in the comments like this is nobody gonna acknowledge that massive diagonal crane picks up your poop It was gross i know right yeah i totally i forgot about it look we spent a lot of time figuring out the design of this thing um we had like a really a small reference um that had kind of basically two triangle pieces it was completely level Going up but then it looked started looking really chunky so we altered the design and now we’ve kind of got this weed um slight angle going sloping upwards with uh with our good old grindstone as like the little pulleys and the counterweights it definitely works all my engineers in The comment section will literally tell us this looks like it actually works so good job both for you guys fantastic something tells me they’re gonna cry inside like this is gonna bother them for the rest of their lives at this point it works this every single structure engineer Will tell us this would work okay oh my gosh i i i did also have to turn on shaders for this scene because look at this better turn on cheetahs this is fantastic this is beautiful oh i’m crashing into the windmill okay overall that’s the crane it’s on a diagonal it’s beautiful But the rest of this whole scene this little little mine cozied nicely in there with all the path fixed up it’s flowing well but you know what yep we have to get cracking on yours it’s time pearl we gotta go get all the stuff we did To build this thing i can’t wait it is time we’re gonna get cracking on sausages portal oh look it’s all the diamond time and here you have some of the toilet i don’t want your toilet Sausage and I recently were inspired by the game Valheim and decided to make a creative building series where we make 2 new builds every week on both of our channels until we end up with an entire Nordic-style Minecraft village!
