to show you Minecart rails are cool uh you have a mine cart equ equipped by by Default if you go up to that uh rail what is that that’s called a flinks they drop flinks fur which is they try to hurt me there’s okay there’s monsters down here yeah there are yeah yeah yes there are monsters down here that’s the game well I mean like we’ve been playing For a few hours and this is the first time there’s been this many monsters in Cav you slimes that is true what these things do try to hurt me yes why CU they’re flines they’re dodo balls they’re fles Undead Vikings kind of freaking me out it’s just it’s it’s Just like a reskin of the zombie basically or not not of that but like um Regular non-icy Caverns have um skeletons in them and this is the a reskin of those basically I killed a Zubat killed the zoat so are there range weapons were those the sh or something yeah um throwing KN Honestly I could have you uh using a bow right now and that would probably be good um but like honestly early game bows aren’t that great great I don’t know um see I killed them they’re fine we’re fine okay I’m I’m a little hurt but We’re fine oh I fell oh I should tell you by the way um so you probably have healing potions in your inventory um if you press h that will use whatever um whichever healing item you have that is like in the um that is the left most and Uppermost of your inventory um but once you use a healing item of something kind you have uh potion sickness for a minute and you can’t eat another healing potion yeah so you have to watch out for that you have to um it’s pretty easy to die Because like oh I can’t heal yet I’m just running around waiting to be able to heal and then I die why did this get so much more real like as we start doing a stream on it um because we went down to the cavern layer we were in the underground and This is like the boundary of the cavern layer you can see where the background changed is that where things get scary like moners kind but it doesn’t get scary it gets a little tougher well you you say it doesn’t get scary but you’re standing next to a demon chest Apparently a demon Al a de even worse um so you see the mine cart track here um the way it works is There are eight ores but only four spawn on any given world so you can either have copper or tin um iron or lead silver or tungsten gold or platinum and they all B are basically equivalent to each other so this tungsten I’m getting is basically the equivalent of silver The lead you’re picking up is basically the equivalent of iron but then why did we get a tin chandelier earlier cuz we just we just found that in like a in just a house but you so they so like built things can spawn just not the and There there are some ways to get the ores that don’t naturally spawn in your world it’s just it’s just very little at a time and it’s there’s no real need for it usually there’s something below me there is blowing it doesn’t it looks like a really small cave that doesn’t Actually have anything in it besides like a little bit of water has nice B it has ice bat you want to kill the ice bat no maybe if you don’t want to you probably shouldn’t keep digging digging it’s trying to hurt me can I smash it through the wall um no there Are some weapons you can do that with but they’re all like much later game than we are right now what if I just want to have all the spawn cap the number of enemies That can be spawned at once goes up I like how your brain has been rotted by tabletop has it yeah you say like it has a chance to roll a die no like it is literally particular area you can teleport to it okay so they want to encourage you to build houses all over the map I’ve never bothered with it but Like we could okay maybe uh I’m going to give a tour to my you said something Else um take just take a bunch of stuff like fill up your inventory with stuff from your piggy bank oh um keep the money in the piggy bank but besides that did I take money out yeah you took money out um you should always keep as much money as Possible not in your inventory and yes in the piggy bank because that will make it so that um because you don’t want to lose it and the piggy bank like stuff will Auto sort like money will Auto sort into your piggy bank if you have money in There okay it’s completely filled up so now now um leave the piggy bank and um hit escape and then under your coin slot you see quick swort to nearby chests do that do that okay there you go and now you can just keep doing that until your piggy Bank is basically empty of things that you ingredient in a really really really good yo-yo accessory but it’s also really easy to make so you don’t necessarily need to keep that one in particular if you don’t like it but I really like my my my your flail it’s pry Fun stri says you can get a a really rare job from enemies in the blood moon called a money trough and it’s a portable piggy bank I forgot about about that yeah you’re totally gone so Heather’s whole deal as an NPC is that like if you’re hurt um she will heal you for an amount of money that is is proportional to how hurt you are what about which can actually be useful when there’s less crowding and when they’re in the biome they want I dislike the Lack of social distancing here yeah she she she thinks it’s too crafted um that’s not a mechanic we have to engage with but um we can and it we’re boxed off an entire different Flor I think it’s okay there’s even like a like holes in the in the floor that like specifically Create gaps where there would have to has to pass by two walls there are specific like um like rules for like what what NPCs consider too crowded um I think we’d have to have people in different like biomes for her to like not feel that way I I I think It’s probably like there is a limit per building and then there there’s a limit per biome I’m not entirely sure I forget like I said I don’t really engage with that mechanic a lot outside of like having two people off in like the jungle or something so I have a teleporter over There um Zing zapper says what bosses have you defeated already none we’re going to do one at some point yeah doesn’t suck any worse than creepers but still that’s true except except that they a creeper just explodes once these guys would just drop so many bombs it was so annoying I Mean they still do that messed up my house yeah there’s also other things like once we beat the mechanical enemy we’ll get we’ll get a uh NPC called the uh Cyborg and that will sell the contaminator which we can use to which always forget what the hard mode NPCs the cyborg is like what the um what is this cyborg have oh the the jetpack right what else does he have this is as far west as we’ve been we um explored down this cave before Instead of continuing further west oh I see but you know we should use the opportunity of this play through to engage a bit with the potion mechanics I’ve never really engaged with them very much okay but I’ve been collecting so many ingredients I’m getting kind of the Reason I was asking about the i f CU I’m getting kind of tired at the moment so you want to end the stream with it stay in there until um until the night time’s over okay oh we found the dungeon that’s right so don’t go in um if you try to go into the dungeon before beating the dungeon’s boss it will just Automatically kill you um we have to get over the top of the dungeon the dungeon’s always on the opposite side of the world from the jungle okay okay this is a little bit annoying to make this jump
