Phoenix SC – Minecraft | Cursed Images 13 (Circular Portals)

User 19734 sent me this image on my reddit page i slash phoenix sc and they created a round portal i have no idea how they did it it seems like it’s manufactured properly because i can see the seam lines on the image it looks pretty legit so i

Don’t know how they did it but i had to think of my own way which is of course the beauty of the minecraft coast image series welcome back to another episode it is friday night once again and i had a lot of fun doing this one because for the first

Time i wrote my own c plus program to generate these images for you guys so it looks really smooth and as circular as one can make it i have a lot of different command locks here there’s one over here but i want to show

You first of all what i did this is a very tiny 2.5 radius circular nether portal so i’m going to stand further back here you can see there are so many entities there are 720 entities here because there are 360 for both of these circles there are two

Circles here just to make sure that the nether portals on the inside don’t have any gaps and so without the texture pack you can see that the inside is magenta wool retexture just to make sure that all the gaps are sealed because you can’t have circles in

Minecraft so if you look really closely you can see the second circle on the inside that actually looks a lot smoother than the one on the outside for some reason i have no idea why but this is to cover up any potential gaps that may arise from the square that i’ve put inside

There so if i don’t have this inner circle you’ll see gaps here gaps here because there’s no circular another portal unless i re-textured it myself it’s going to be static though i don’t want to really do that and i’m not going to walk through the portal because this is a real portal

So let me clear this and i’ll share with you the radius 4 near the portal it’s not laggier it actually looks even cooler now because it’s a bigger circle and you can see that the smoothness of it is compensated for the size now i noticed that because i wrote this

Program to make a perfect circle in theory i can animate it to look really nice so these are two different animations that i wrote this one is a smooth one and you can see all the armor stands rotating on the same axis and that causes this really nice movement effect

I have no idea what to call it but the ring around the portal is now shifting around and the obsidian blocks are of course moving around as well so this one’s pretty cool uh i do want to look at it even more but it’s not as fascinating to me anymore

Because i’ve been playing around with this a lot but hopefully you guys will find some satisfaction in seeing this despite the fact that it is a round portal this does enhance the circular feature of it so this one is okay but this one makes it really nasty and something out of a sci-fi

Movie so because obsidian it does look a little more crazy this one is creating um an animation for random stands in there so it’s selecting i think 500 random ones that’s why it’s creating the irregularity on the outside it looks like the back of the godzilla’s neck or something out of the terminator

That being said i will share with you something related to this afterwards now briefly i want to show you this one this is actually going to be very laggy because there are three portals intersecting each one but there it is i have a couple of screenshots i want to show you

Actually just one but there is the three circles intersecting and i’ve cleared the inside so now it looks like there are multiple portals intersecting took me about an hour to make this one i didn’t really want it to go to waste even though it’s really laggy i don’t

Want to move around too much now but there you go pretty cool to look at and now this is where things get really interesting so this is the end portal that is circular and this is a product of a mistake on my part because i listed the texture as

End portal frame when in fact there are different sides to it so this is what it created and i was pleasantly shocked by how cool this looks because of the missing texture texture which is purple and black and because it’s rotated it’s not actually showing the proper sides to it

The different sides are represented by the shades of purple and black and that naturally creates a really nice ellipse now i can show you what it looked like before i did this and it doesn’t look really nice because it has a lot of detail and so i thought to myself why not try

It with the original ones just to see what it looks like and this is what it looks like it’s not really nice it’s clipping a lot but notice what happens when i start rotating it unbelievable this is one of the coolest things i’ve ever seen in the game

I was fighting myself this is a cursed image series but this looks so cool i have no words to describe how mesmerizing this spectacle is where all of the rotations are occurring from the missing texture blocks it’s kind of like stop starting but i don’t know why it

Shouldn’t really be doing that let’s stop this one and let’s apply that again and this is the erratic one so now it just looks completely disgusting and very matrix like but this is unbelievable i really love the way that this has turned out and i think i’m going to keep it like
