PIPPIP5789 – The Ancient Fantasy of Wizardry – Part 1

Hey there you guys what is up pivot5789 here and today we start a brand new Journey so uh I started that just you know as uh the screen was loading just so you guys would see uh yeah we are here today uh already have some things in my inventory astral

Tone research book some girls okay uh all right definitely look at those in a bit not sure why that’s green sure okay so uh yeah this is going to be a really fun series uh for those of you that don’t know uh oh that’s not the right button sorry

All right uh yeah so for those of you that don’t know this is gonna be uh focused around three mods uh we’re going to be doing some Ancient Warfare we’re going to be doing some mind fantasy we forged I highly suggest you check out my

Other series uh if you want to see more how that all works and we’re going to be doing some electro ball blobs Wizardry uh yeah not really much else to say beyond that so I guess we should just go ahead and get started right uh punch down some trees

Actually no first thing we should do is check out what these things are so research book we all know what this is It’s mind fantasy thank you astrotome we are actually running Astro sorcery here uh there is an add-on for Electro blob that uh combines the two so why not uh

Same thing with batania uh besides those two I think those are the only other two big well quote unquote big mods I’m running besides uh thing like I’d say medium mods oh and I’m also running Embers because uh right there’s the Embers add-on for mine fantasy uh you

Know I’ll just have a I’ll just have like a list of all the mods in the description uh yeah wait this uh can’t read that so I’m not even gonna bother with it this Scroll of choice once you’ve entered a role world the scroll allows you to change your race

Held it I assume he means hold it say choose and then choose one of the following so elf dwarf slime human there’s a lot of different things we could be here I’ve never actually played with this before um uh as much as I want to be a dwarf that

Would kind of restrict our magic uh We’re not gonna be a slime and when elves are very magical but ah the blacksmithing side you know what I’m just gonna be the Bland person here and I’m just gonna be a human so choose human that did not work

Oh because it’s not a command we just say choose human okay so I’m a human sure right now we can get the punching of that tree yes ah this is going to be a great start Okay so I guess we can go ahead and uh play out some goals

Uh actually before that I hope let me see is my audio working I’ve been having a lot of audio issues recently so I think I got them all fixed uh let me know if there are any uh you know Big Audio errors throughout the video hopefully there won’t be there’s a crow

Okay probably grimoire of guy if I had to guess I don’t actually have wayla uh uh yeah so we’ll see how that goes eh okay cool a lot of birds around here oh enough Earth flower nice okay so yes I do have Jay I don’t have wayla

Um whala just feels a little bit cheaty depending on some of the mods that you have installed being able to see certain things that ought to be traps and for the sake of ancient uh Warfare and for a few other mods I’m just not writing it you know why am I being pushed

What are y’all doing this tree is coming down whether or not you want it to I am sorry I have no idea what’s up with that sure just sure right so I actually haven’t played with a lot of these mods I’d say well I say a lot I’ve probably played

With like three quarters of them like as far as uh late slash end game stuff there’s a Wizardry Tower what’s my render distance on uh wow yep okay uh so yeah like things like uh mine fantasy I’ve been all the way through that multiple times at this point

Uh Electro blob I’ve been I’ve gotten to like Master wand and everything but I actually don’t know all the Spells and I’m not well acquainted with a lot of the add-ons that I have here uh uh so that’s gonna make things really interesting so there’s some flowers which is kind of

Foraging around to start things off uh not a lot it’s really exciting definitely gonna check out this Wizards Tower hopefully he’s not an angry wizard because if it is we’re gonna be in trouble uh though I guess if it is we can always just take over his Tower

Uh this will give us actually access to an imbuement altar really early game which is nice um and I hear a skeleton don’t see one though so maybe we’re fine and then there’s a bunch of different things so there’s magic wands you know like normal uh what do we oh okay uh

But then let’s see where is it right then we also have these uh I have no idea what these are like or for um but as you can see they have a completely different uh wow can’t think they have a completely different recipe uh clearly though they

Are gonna have their own expensive uh some string all right if we can find a golden nugget I’m probably gonna make the other kind of wand but then we also have uh Grim Wars I have no idea how these work either uh okay yeah I’ll stick with the wand uh thank you though

Okay all right uh oh there’s an astral sorcery uh altar over there small one that’s nice uh oh where are we gonna set up at I really don’t know there’s we’re definitely gonna need a crystal at least for a little while hmm all right well the sun’s actually about

To go down so hopefully the wizard will let us stay the night you know what I am gonna grab some dirt so I can make some sharper rocks I don’t tend to like to use dirt for Sharp rocks if I can help it does feel a little cheaty

But I’ll make an exception this once so I mean I’m it’s not like I consider it a hard fast approval or anything so yeah let’s go ahead and do this uh there here’s our Carpenter bench wow I just completely missed a click oops there uh right more of those for some of those

And then we’re gonna need to make some sharp rocks sticks ought to be fine for now we need some Vines so I’m gonna quickly run back over here and probably grab the flowers on the way back oh there’s some lava and some copper nice actually that lava is really great

Um because that will give us uh easy Crucible access without having to go all the way down to Y level 10. which would be really nice but you know for early game bronze I’m thinking uh though we’re definitely going to be heading down to my layer 10 pretty

Soonish or at least close to it because you know we kind of need the gold so uh yeah let’s go and grab all this okay it’s almost night time probably time to go and pay a visit to are these mystical flowers yes they are okay and I’ll grab them all uh

But I guess uh the yeah time to definitely go pay a visit over to hopefully the good wizard yes I’m very easily distracted deal with it okay uh yes white flower mystical white flowers those are gonna be critical for the early game uh we have a good old ruined Alters

You know I’m sure the mobs won’t be that bad all right I’m gonna see if I can’t get into that Shrine now I’ve never actually played astral sorcery with mind fantasy before so I have no idea nope we gotta do copper pick okay that’s fine that’s fine uh

You can go mining a little bit later but now let’s just grab all this get out of my way Raven say Can you tame Ravens like a good parent oh and of course it’s then gonna start raining I’m gonna go with no I will say though

Not really seeing any mobs uh oh we will be playing this on hard sorry should have done that earlier oops yes we will be playing this on hard uh anything else is just being cheap and lazy and quite honestly just know okay so there’s some skellies um

Oh there’s a bunch of flowers over here nice uh for those of you that don’t know much about Electro blobs we need these crystal flowers because they give us magic crystals the magic crystals allow us to fill up our wand with Mana you know whenever we eventually get one of those

Oh that’s a zombie that’s gonna really hurt if he hits me to the water oh the water is man’s best friend we can literally just beat this guy over the head with a rock until he dies if you guys can hear the occasional clink or cling sound that means that he

Actually blocked that hit which is why I’m trying to uh go side to side because that allows me to get around his defenses okay well enough playing around I spent far too long out here as it is let’s go visit the wizard shall we ah this would be a nice little place

Especially to run away if the wizard happens to be a mad one please don’t be a mad wizard is he ah he’s not okay uh horse whistle hmm wait why can I see that I shouldn’t be able to see those hmm there must be something wrong with my config uh

Also you’re a younger wizard aren’t you huh is there something wrong with the config I wonder uh sorry uh you know what I’ll look at that later we’re in the middle of a video okay so I guess we’ll bunker down here here for the night uh hmm

Or would it be worth it to just try and go mining ah I don’t like sitting still and it’s honestly going to be really boring content so I could get this out or I could just go and risk it all right you know what but we are going to be a

The AI is so bad that I can’t seem to tease it come on run run run run okay and we’re safe foreign gotcha nice magic Crystal Shard out of that interesting they must be from one of the add-ons because I do not remember that from normal uh from the normal one

Okay so there is a Remnant altar over there I am seriously under geared for that there’s no way I’m finding that not right now okay more flowers over here I’m trying to be extremely careful because of people like this okay I’m so glad I have sound again

So so glad yes mystical white flowers okay I’m not gonna be focusing on botania uh I have it there because there’s supposed to be some sort of integration with uh Electro blob that’s the only reason it’s in here so I’m going to collect the flowers if I

See them but like I’m not terribly focusing on them all right plus you know I can use them for decoration or something uh just like and give the biggest insult to Britannia you have all these super magical flowers They’re gonna do okay that’s the skeleton and that’s an Undertaker okay that’s not

Good not good not good not good not good not good not good not good not good not good okay time to run like time to seriously run okay Right so sheep will not drop anything because apparently Stone Spears are not considered hunting weapons kind of surprised there but okay right I will take out this creeper that’s a zombie behind me thank you time to run aha you can’t catch me all right oh some sugarcane and those are wolves I believe

Yeah I don’t think we want to mess with those those are either wolves or foxes I honestly don’t know I know that there’s well I’m fairly certain that there is a a blue wolf that’s like instantly aggro to you that I could be wrong about that regardless I’m going to generally steer clear

Uh okay grab the berry always if it is daytime it was still raining I love the rain in real life but like really game all right another zombie I think we can just take him on oh yeah curious Crystal okay well we got a magic Crystal from him so apparently mobs drop

Magic crystals okay sure so uh what I would like to find is some copper that’s what I’m looking for uh some cop yay some copper I was gonna say some copyright that’s not right next to Lava we’re also gonna need this uh finally we’re gonna need to find a place to settle down

So oh there’s a marble from astral sorcery some tin yes we have copper we have tin and I will be saving the tin for bronze and bronze alone uh but yeah things are looking up oh Okay so you can grab all this Stone and then I think we can probably head back uh

Oh coal yes we actually want to grab a good chunk of coal because we’re gonna need a good bit of it especially early on uh whenever we can get access to a decent old lumbar ax I’ll definitely be switching over to Charcoal but that’s going to be Iron bare minimum until then

I really don’t want to waste the wood because honestly I’d much rather mine cold than wood like if I’m just being straight up huh okay well that will be enough for now we can probably go grab that other copper and hopefully between the copper I have here and the copper that’s you know

Dangling over lava there will be enough to do something with uh with any luck we’ll get a pick any copper around here copper Kappa Kappa gets your copper here no copper I’m gonna dig through more so just to get stoned than anything else because we still need Stone okay oh Morton

Yes I always struggle to find tin so I I have like just a self-made rule if I see 10 I’m going to get it I don’t know why but I I always struggle like without fail I struggled to find 10 and I don’t know what it is

Okay so it might be worth investing into a knife so we can get a um well so we can get uh start getting animal skins and wool especially because we’ll just leave off the night or wolver a bed to sleep off the night would be critical especially for the early game

So we’re probably gonna grab the copper then while I’m waiting for it to smelt up I will work okay let’s see so we have here there make sure it can’t spill out into the lava all right we now have two pieces of copper uh uh we’re gonna need four right one for

The hammer three for that so we need just a little bit more ow all right uh let’s see hmm looking for a cave I’m trying to stay I’m trying to stay within uh site or not site but like within around the tower because well yeah I don’t want to lose it I’m

Kind of using it as a central point for my operations definitely going to be the base of operations starting off uh until we might we might end up moving out later uh whenever we have a little bit more or own things but until then okay there’s some limes down there that’s

Actually going to be great uh but I don’t have enough pick to Warrant getting it ah 10. no self rule I always have to get 10 if I see it uh definitely uh costing my pick a lot though uh we’re down to two durability which means

Probably need to say the last little bit for copper assuming I can find any like seriously where’s all the copper um so am I gonna have to like switch it this play through so instead of if I see 10 I get it to IC copper I get it

Because I usually find so much more but then again I’m also normally in Hills like a hilly biomes okay two pieces of copper perfect all right you see I I knew copper would come through for me I knew it would it always does come on it’s copper

Okay so oh flowers must have missed those on the way there yep yep yep bro foreign grab all of these grab these grab these okay all right that’s probably about all the botania flowers I’m gonna gather unless if I see the color I don’t have I’m also probably gonna invest on a

Flower pouch so that I can totally break that promise anyway okay uh all right so we’re gonna need to make Boop come on oh yeah I’m actually going to probably move outside trying to think of how I want to do this because I don’t want to stay in here I

Am honestly terrified I’m accidentally gonna bring something and I’m gonna upset the wizard I’m like so terrified of that because aside from the fact that I just don’t want to have to deal with an angry wizard uh I actually would really like to trade with him so

All right so instead I think we’re just going to do this yes hidey hole 101. I don’t like that sand there so I’m gonna replace it with Dirks and then we’re gonna mine at the last little bit okay foreign this is fine okay let’s go ahead and get

A little bit of cobbles uh smelting out to be Stone we’re gonna need more though which means we’re gonna need a new pick it’s there there okay Daisy there we go all right so we can go ahead and grab that that’s that like down here and uh oh

Let’s make ourselves a new pickaxe all right so I guess while I’m picking this out I can kind of explain a little bit of how this is how this series is going to work so I am going to try and do the majority of my content on camera I just really

Like doing content on camera I I don’t like it whenever people just do you know like oh here’s a beach all right we turn around and then whenever we next see it the next episode you know don’t get to actually see any work on it there’s like a metropolis

Uh no that said there are some certain things that are just kind of tedium such as uh and mass crafting like we will have like we will have to do for um what is the word the uh fairness is and for the refinery and whatnots uh sorry don’t mind me I’m just gonna

Honestly it’s not actually going to be all that helpful as Embers is a really late game thing uh yeah you know what we have some time we kind of I’m still not going out there with that wizard I’m sorry uh yeah so for Embers we’re gonna need to get

Ember crystals Amber crystals will come from an ember bore here it is the Emperor requires a mechanical core which requires this a composite alloy plates now for those of you that don’t know I don’t actually have my research book with me here why do I have

There I have no idea why that was saved uh probably from A Different World Okay so basically composite alloy is going to be like late game engineering uh that’s gonna be wolframite well for might requires a tier 3 pickaxe uh all right or is it two or four

I forget I think it’s tier three uh basically we’re gonna need to get to Steel yeah I believe steel can get it if not we’re gonna have to get a black steel though I’m fairly certain steel can I don’t recall immediately off the top of my head

Uh but we’re going to need a steel pickaxe which means we need to get to pig iron which means we need to get the iron which means we need to get the bronze which means that we need to get ourselves a copper pickaxe which we still have not done okay

We do not actually have the resources for a hammer either you know what we’re gonna have to go out there Evil wizard or no we have to get our stuff yeah okay we’re safe I’m just gonna grab all of this and this and this and this okay I think that’s about everything

All right we can dump off the flowers here because we’re not gonna need those we’re gonna need not gonna need any of that did do anything and then we can run back okay wizard doesn’t appear to be around here so we’re fine for now uh right we’re gonna need

Another sharp Rock so that we can make ourselves a stop Hammer Time so with the hammer we’ll be able to create ourselves nope we need a block of coal first yes block a call plus this create the bloomery all right we’re actually also going to need some dry rocks now that I think

Um uh yeah we’re just gonna have to go back mining oh I don’t know if I ever finished my story yeah so the boring things like uh going mining and whatnot I am probably going to more or less do off camera if I can help it uh

Like early game yeah there’s gonna be some mining but whenever we get into like the later game I probably am going to try to do a little bit more off mining off screen mining just because that gives really tedious really quickly though you will see it from time to time uh yeah

So we are officially 40 minutes in uh I figure each of these oh that’s the wizard let’s just generally avoid him like he has covid and uh let’s see they’re a cave anywhere around here I’ve missed because we need more coal and we need more copper you also could use some string

As we apparently will not be getting any wool until we can get some enough copper well yeah wait hold up a second so how do we get leather then wait okay so leather there’s not another way to make it is there uh rabbit hide cheating uh

Smelt out of fur we can Infuse Robin flesh oh is that actually what we’re gonna have to do because if we can’t get animal hide wait all right I need to find something that’s not a sheep or am I gonna have to kill those dogs oh no

I really don’t want to kill the dogs but we have to get access to leather uh we’re gonna need we’re gonna need a good bit of leather actually um why would the knife kill not work do we I’m so confused the knife honestly ought

To have worked ah I see 10. I have to get it copper yes Papa copper copper copper copper okay nice decent vein of copper here uh hopefully this will be enough to fill out the rest of our store at least for a really early game um but yeah I’m actually concerned if we

Can’t get hide then we can’t get leather we can’t get leather you can’t make tools uh well besides you know these crude tools um all right I’m sorry I’ve gotta find something else uh oh no I refuse to kill horses I’m sorry oh there’s a library over there

One of those floating Library things all right we don’t have pink flowers yet so grab a couple of those all right that looks amazing there’s no way that’s uninhabited though so time to be really careful actually no I think I have purple already it’s fine what’s this is this seriously uninhabited that way

Pig perfect subject nothing all right uh I’ll have to go and look for cows then because that’s the last thing I can think of not good whoa whoa whoa why did I just stop ah key glitch okay so there’s a magic Missile somewhere in here but honestly this place looks amazing

Uh we might be restoring this like could you imagine trying to restore this and then letting this be our wizard tower that would be so cool hey and there’s oh now magic Missile is just the one thing that we would know so we actually don’t know that okay

So there are books we don’t know it was just apparently by trading we can know those who knows okay so that thing looks really cool uh we have the copper actually but I have to find a cow I have to know can we get leather because clearly those hides are not working uh

Random Birch sapling sure all right I am generally remembering the way I came so that I can get back uh yeah this is not how I wanted this to end oh flower uh definitely not how I wanted to end the video um This is highly concerning but I’ve logged in my configs I’m

Whatever challenges we may face we’re gonna have to get through them what’s this a veil shroom interesting hmm all right but yeah if we can’t get leather normally then we can’t get leather normally and we will just have to find a way around it um

Don’t want to kill the dogs but I may have to in order to get the fur coats um let’s see what else we can go for the cows that’s I’m hoping that it’s just like for whatever reason mind fantasy is bugged and cows just dropped leather and the other things

Aren’t dropping and I’m getting abysmally low drop rates which knowing me is actually entirely possible uh or there’s something wrong okay floating tower or floating island uh I’m assuming floating island means electric blob that whether that’s a friendly or not I do not know actually you know what uh yeah
