The road to my house that delivers the internet and the majority of that runs underneath my hedge since I live down a little bit from the road we have a big front garden that kind of separates the road from the house and so the cables can’t run under the ground from The

Exchange box where all of the wires are connected to the Nationwide internet Network that my internet service provider holds and there is a large tube that basically covers up the majority of that wire to prevent it from you know getting damaged getting bitten by animals or whatever and I was trimming

The Hedge this weekend and I happened to cut the one piece of wire that isn’t protected by one of those tubes it happens to run over the side of a wall so that it can connect up to my house and it got cut I ended up taking the

Hedge trimmer straight through it it’s electric hedge trimmer so it had absolutely no problem just chewing through this wire and leaving the internet connection to my house severed now a lot of people suggested that I might be able to repair the cable myself but having looked into it it seems like

It is kind of a proprietary network cable that my internet service provider uses not the kind of thing that can be repaired by the average Joe so with that out of the way I was left looking at waiting for my internet service provider to come along and repair the cable which

At the time of this recording still has not happened as you can tell from the fact that I am currently in a default skin essentially it’s going to be about a week until they’re able to come out and fix it I don’t pay for like a business internet connection although

I’m probably going to look into that after this incident so that I can have some sort of guarantee that it’ll be fixed a little sooner and I’ve been using my mobile phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot for my my laptop which is the reason I’m able to upload this video and you can

See it before my internet actually gets fixed but unfortunately it’s not possible to do that for my PC because it doesn’t have a Wi-Fi component and apparently you need to have a Wi-Fi component in a PC to be able to tether it to a hotspot even if you’re connected

Via a USB cable so long story short I can’t connect to the Mojang skin server which is what actually uploads your skin to your character every time you log in I’ve looked into different ways of getting around this including installing mods and resource packs and stuff like

That but without the ability to access the internet on this PC it’s actually fairly difficult to get some of that stuff installed even modded instances if I created them on a different computer and copied them over to this one for whatever reason they wouldn’t run they need to do an initial installation or

Like a check online to make sure that all of the files are in the right places and it seems like that’s not possible with my PC being completely offline I could go out and buy a Wi-Fi adapter or something like that but I would have no guarantee that it would necessarily work

The way I expected it to and I think it’s probably not worth the additional expense considering that I’m going to have to pay for repairs to my internet cabling fairly soon so instead I’m going to be Alex for a couple of episodes here and the Alex skin is one that is applied

To my character just by default like normally I would select the Steve skin and have my normal Pixar ifs Avatar skin kind of wrapped around that model but instead for whatever reason because of my user id it just kind of assigns one of the default avatars to you and mine

Turned out to be Alex so I’m here as Alex for a little while my arm’s gonna look a bit weird but the majority of the content of these episodes can still go ahead I don’t need online connectivity to play in a single player world and I can show you folks around what we’re

Going to be doing just bear in mind that my arm is going to look a little strange if I’m not holding tools majority of the time you won’t really notice the difference I’ll open my inventory I’ll look a little bit different but still the same me with the same world and the

Same tutorial content so as you can see I’ve made a bunch of progress on the storage system we now have a hopper chain linking the entire thing it is honestly more Hoppers than I would normally craft for a storage system of this size but I decided we’re going to

Go with the sort of manual or at least like mechanical approach to this instead of starting on water streams and aligning items along Hoppers and that kind of stuff for folks who are more experienced with storage systems you will understand that this is not the best way of making a storage system this

Large mostly because of the material costs of all of these Hoppers but frankly I think it’s going to work out for our needs here in the single player world where it’s not going to bother anybody like it might if it was on a multiplayer server creating lag and that

Kind of thing I’ve also started to make some aesthetic choices about what I wanted to do with the floor material and normally I go with this wood gradient that starts with dark oak and goes through Spruce and then oak and then to Birch and then back out and I wanted to

Vary that a little bit and I wanted to use cherry wood since we have a Cherry Grove quite nearby at first I ended up thinking what if we include some Mangrove and some Crimson wood in here but I thought that was going to look fairly bright and so instead I thought

Of the idea of Neapolitan ice cream which is that mix of chocolate vanilla and strawberry flavor ice cream that you get in tubs at the supermarket and so by creating these Stripes along the floor and then turning them at the corners what we end up with is this kind of neat

Ice cream 60s retro kind of vibe like with the stripe pattern and everything going around here and I think connecting it up on all four of the Wings prevent it from looking too weird to me and The more I’ve looked at it the more I have

Liked it so we’re gonna go with this I’ve also got a little Polished endocyte in the center there where the central block is going to be and I’m going to do a little bit of decoration around the edges I’m thinking that some of these are going to be storage for stuff like

Redstone components that I would probably want to keep in bulk but don’t necessarily want to automatically sort and a bunch of the different materials that I want to store in here are in place we’re missing a few important ones though like mycelium which is going to

Go in here but then all of the dirt types are represented we’ve got a bunch of other stuff besides and I’ve started to put Redstone lamps underneath a bunch of these with a bit of black terracotta behind there since it’s probably the closest we can get to having another

Redstone lamp type of color material behind there and as I go through decorating these I have actually been lighting up these Redstone lamps underneath here by digging down and placing a lever underneath every third lamp which means that the lamps to either side get lit up since the power

Sources directly connected to that lamp there I think it’s all going to work out pretty well I’ve been trading a lot with my clerics to get enough glowstone and Redstone that I can make a bunch of redstone lamps but today we are going to

Go back to the nether to fill in some of the gaps in my storage system namely I’m going to go to look for a nether Bastion where piglens will be hanging out but also where we can get our first Glimpse at netherrite in order to locate a pig limbastian I’m

Going to make some unorthodox equipment I’m going to grab a walk fungus from here I’m going to grab one of my spare fishing rods and do what we didn’t do with the carrot on a stick which is to make a full warped fungus on a stick out

Of a partly broken fishing rod and a warped fungus we’re also going to need to bring a saddle with us thankfully I have plenty of those and last but certainly not least I’m going to brew up some fire resistance potions I’m also going to bring a little bit of

Cobblestone with me I think that will serve well as a marker in case we need to navigate by that in the Nether and since I have a good amount of them in here I’m also going to bring a couple of Hoppers for reasons that will become

Clear once we get to where we’re going and with the potions brewed The Hoppers the Cobblestone and a few other pieces of equipment besides we’re gonna hop on through to the nether now depending on whether your nether is the same as mine if you’re playing along with this world

Seed or if you’ve got a different world and depending on how much exploration of the nether you have already done you may have found a piglet in Bastion already and the presence of some piglets around here has just reminded me that we need to make sure we wearing at least one

Piece of gold armor so maybe that should have been a concern before I stepped through to the nether huh don’t mind me I’ll just be over here in the corner crafting myself a gold helmet there we go and I guess we’ll put my diamond helmet in the Ender Chest right now

Bearing in mind that is going to leave us with a little bit less protection but frankly I think the trade-off is going to be worth it just to make sure that the normal piglets aren’t going to bother us see this guy’s fine now and as

Soon as we can we’re going to get down to lava lake level where possible which is difficult from my spawn point since it’s over in the basalt Delta but it looks like right here in the lake we have what I’m looking for this odd little creature is a Strider they are

Inhabitants of the Lava Lakes here in the Nether and they can be rowed in much the same way a horse can in the Overworld with the obvious Advantage being that they live in the lava they take to it like ducks to water and they are very very interested in Warped

Fungus so having a warped fungus on a stick we can lure astrider up to us equip it with a saddle and start not to ride it in much the same way we can ride a pig with a carrot on a stick simply pointing the camera in whichever direction you want to travel will

Encourage the Strider to walk that way and much like the pig it can be boosted by right clicking getting you the this boat has legs advancement The Strider will pick up a little bit of speed and pretty soon it’ll be toddling along at a pretty quick pace you’ll notice however

That this ends up with a lot less durability taken off the Warped fungus on a stick than you got from the carrot on a stick and you’ll also see that this zombie piglin over here is equipped with a similar bunch of equipment it’s actually fairly rare to find zombie

Piglins riding the Striders and occasionally a Strider will walk underneath an overhang the zombie piglin will suffocate in the blocks above and you’ll be left with a Strider simply saddled but without a rider and those can be very lucky to find if you don’t have a saddle early on in the game we’re

Gonna scoot by this nether fortress here in the lava lake and we’re going to look for a different type type of structure bastions are Blackstone brick structures incredibly foreboding and one of the ways I like to look for them in the early game when I haven’t had the

Opportunity to explore too much is to grab a Strider and go riding around the Lava Lakes like this you’ll also find baby Striders around here every so often and you’ll find that Striders don’t like being out of lava too much they can walk up on the ground but then they tend to

Get a little bit cold they turn purple they shiver a little bit and they seem to be a lot happier and a lot faster when you walk them back into a lava lake now when we’re looking for a pig limbastian some of the most likely places to find such a structure are

Going to be anywhere that you do not see a Basalt Delta while it is possible for a Bastion to generate just outside of a Basalt Delta and for the rest of the structure to appear inside the Delta it is unlikely that you’ll find them generating within the overall boundary

Of a Basalt Delta biome simply because the material is so similar the Mojang team thought it’d be a good idea if the structures didn’t spawn there simply because the player can have a hard time spotting them one thing you might be concerned about while you’re riding

Around on a Strider is gust activity and you would be right to be concerned about that but switching the bow into your main hand and the warp fungus on a sticking to your offhand you can usually return fire pretty effectively just don’t expect to get the drops now one

Thing I haven’t done here but which I would definitely recommend doing if you plan on riding a Strider around it yourself is bringing a second walked fungus with you because in the event that your durability on your walk fungus on a stick decreases to the point where

The stick breaks you’ll still get the fishing rod back but the Warped fungus will be missing and that can potentially leave you stranded in the middle of a lava lake so you know what I’m gonna do even though the Strider is probably going to shiver a little bit once it’s

Up on land here I’m gonna hop out onto the shore of this warped Forest we’re going to look around quickly and we’re going to grab another walk fungus just as a backup in case we’re riding around looking for a Bastion for a while ah but just around the corner from where we

Found that warped Forest we actually have an example of a Bastion structure and it looks for all the world like this could be the jackpot this very large cube of Blackstone is a treasure room Bastion this is possibly the best thing we could have lucked into although it

Might end up being the worst as well depending on how this goes for me I call these piglin bastions sort of as a shorthand because what they’re actually referred to in game is a Bastion Remnant they are kind of the remains of a long forgotten piglin civilization here in

The near that the implication is that piglins had a much more sophisticated civilization which has fallen on hard times at least for now they seem like they’re not doing super well their structures are crumbling and abandoned now the shore of this lava lake is a nice place to leave our Strider although

It’s not the best place for us since Soul sand blocks are not a full block tall they actually have a very slight dip in their hitbox compared to normal blocks so if I try and Bridge out into the lava I end up setting my feet on fire when I want to play some

Cobblestone and my strider’s already wandering off so I’m going to try and call him back to me by holding the fungus on a stick yes here we go I’m going to keep that in my offhand while I Bridge around like this and we’re going to try our best to create a reasonable

Sized little Corral for our Strider somewhere it’s got room to walk around but it’s not gonna walk out of this box if I can help it there we go Striders will not walk underneath any of these Cobblestone barriers so we should be okay to leave it right there and we’ll

Be back for this Strider I’ll take the coordinates briefly so I know where we are and we can look up in this direction towards where we spotted that piglet Bastion Remnant before I get too far away from the Lava Lake actually I’m going to ditch my bucket of water here

And bring a bucket of lava with me because this is going to be an ideal defense against some of the inhabitants of the Bastion remnant and here we go behind these grim and foreboding walls there is a treasure Trove of items to be found many of which are exclusive to these Bastion remnants

And cannot be found elsewhere but the bastions are protected by special types of piglands there we go we’ve got the advancement for entering the bounding box at least of our first Bastion Remnant but some piglets inside of here will attack us regardless of whether or

Not we are wearing gold armor and it is those piglens we really need to be careful of here so I’m looking in the subtitles in case the noises that they make can be heard I’m gonna tiptoe around here and yep there we go we hear the sound of a piglet brute the piglet

Brutes are the ones we really want to watch out for so I’m actually gonna dig up the side of this Bastion here until I find an area where the wall of the Bastion stops that will allow us to get in here a little bit more safely we can

Kind of poke holes in the scenery here until we get a solid idea of which direction we are looking and we can even start pouring lava into the structure from any of these Cubbies that end up generating lava sources in the walls and that is a good thing because piglens

Despite being residents of the nether are vulnerable to fire damage which includes lava now one of the things I could do in this case is punch my way out into this area where you see a lot of lava and you actually see the front face of this Bastion so we actually see

A couple of piglens up here along the ramparts and we’re not going to worry too much about the regular guys wearing brown but we are looking for piglins wearing black those guys right there I actually see three of them guarding the entrance to the main treasure Bastion

Area doesn’t it look cool actually that that looks like a piglet snout opening there with the tusks made out of gold either way these piglin brutes are the most dangerous piglins of them all and it serves us well to dispose of them quickly and effectively which is why I

Brought this bucket of love over with me if a piglet brute notices you they will raise their ax and start running towards you even though I’m still wearing this gold helmet and so I find that the best way of taking care of pigland brutes is

Simply to dump a bucket of lava on them from above once the lava flows down over them they’ll start taking damage they’ll typically be locked onto the player and they can’t move very well in lava even if we take the lava away at this point it will start flowing away and that will

Give the piglet brute plenty of time to burn and we don’t have to deal with them before we enter that main section of the treasure Bastion though I’m going to pillar up to the outside of this area and see if I can spot any piglet brutes patrolling the outer ramparts each

Different Bastion and there are four different kinds that you can encounter will have one of these outer wall sections built up around the outside and these will contain a couple of chests that usually have very nice loot in them if you can reach them the problem with

That proposition of course is having to deal with piglet roots and it looks like a couple are coming down to see us now well at a safe distance I have something that can deal with them very very easily we’re just going to drop a bucket of

Lava on them right there they’ll take a bunch of fire damage especially if the lava comes in from above we’re still going to make sure we’re a couple of blocks away just in case the pigland brutes end up making their way towards us thanks to the lava flow and the other

Reason to take out the piglet roots with lava is that this counts as environmental damage it doesn’t count as damage being done by the player even though the player is the one who placed the lava bucket in the first place and that’s a good thing because attacking the piglet brutes even though we’re

Wearing gold will count as an aggressive sign to the other piglens and they will start attacking you some of them even with ranged weapons I still hear one more piglet brute somewhere out here in the structure so I’m going to play it as carefully as I possibly can make sure

I’ve got a decent Escape Route back here that I can block off behind me if we need to burn any piglets really quick and we’ll pay close attention to the direction from which the sounds are coming it seems like the piglet brute was over here to the left somewhere and

Potentially a little above us I can carefully peek my head around the corner if need be we can block off some of these staircases so that they have less of an obvious route to us I’ll take a quick look around here and this open area indicates the top of the Bastion

Rampart so I’m going to briefly do a little parkour around here to see if I can spot where the sound of that piglet brute originated yep it really does sound like the piglet brute is down here somewhere I’m removing a few of these blocks just to make sure they can’t run

Up the stairs towards me and if necessary we can take out some of the other piglens using that lava method as well and it seems like pouring the lava down here has done the trick and I hear the sounds of another piglet brute dying there is at least one more brute down

Here though I can hear the sounds of it so we’re going to leave a lava trap at the top here yep there it is okay we need to keep it at Bay if possible I’m gonna hit it with a sword a few times just to see if we can keep it away but

The ax that it wields is incredibly dangerous to us on Java Edition there we go we managed to take one out but unfortunately that’s alerted as some of the other piglens to my presence I was lucky that I was able to keep that pig brute away from me by systematically

Swinging The Sword and having it down the steps from me having the higher ground did actually work out in this case but it can be tricky dealing with them now having backed off for a little while the regular pigland’s aggro has reset they are no longer going to be

Aggressive to me unless I hurt another one of them and it seems like there aren’t any left in this area here so I’m going to block off the stairs that lead further down and we’re going to check out the chests that are around here now as as usual with piglens they are

Potentially going to get mad at you if you take their stuff if any of them spots you opening a chest then they’re going to get mad at you but in this case it seems like we’re in the clear simply because we don’t have any piglons watching us right now if we were to

Break the chest that would alert the piglens in the surrounding radius because they would hear the sound of it breaking but it may sometimes be the case that you have to get the contents of one of these chests with a bunch of piglens around you obviously the piglet

Brutes are going to attack you no matter what but the rest of the piglets are passive and you want to keep them that way so one solution to that is is to break out a block underneath the chest and place a hopper the hopper will drain the contents of the chest and piglets

Have no problem with you looking in or breaking Hoppers so the hopper can actually drain some of the contents out of the chair still hold five items at a time and you can decide for yourself whether or not you find those items valuable in this case I’m not going to

Worry too much about the arrows and the foods the Magma Cream we can get plenty of from our Basalt Delta although there is a lot of it in this chest a snout Banner pattern though that’s something we want to keep hold of because the only

Place we can get those is right here in a piglet Bastion Remnant so we’re going to grab that there is also an efficiency 5 diamond pickaxe that’s a very important find and there’s various other bits and pieces like chains blocks of iron some blocks of gilded Black Stone

Which are also really nice to have and then the rest of this stuff in here is stuff that we can either take or leave I am going to risk getting the other piglins mad at me by opening up my Ender Chest here stashing some of this stuff

In here for later and then breaking the end of chest again with my silk touch pickaxe and if we’re lucky no piglets around me heard that we can also break this Hopper right here and just make sure that we’ve dumped out anything we don’t need the other thing I should note

Is that some of these chests are placed on top of blocks of gilded Blackstone the block that I mentioned came out of this chest just now the Gilded Blackstone is special to the piglens in much the same way that gold ore is and if we silk touch it we can get hold of

The block but as you heard right then the piglins got mad at me for that so we do need to be extra careful when breaking blocks out from under these chests that they aren’t resting on gilded Blackstone if we want to use that Hopper trick okay I’m making my way

Through the structure and out into the other side we’ve got back to the bridge where we saw our pigland boots patrolling originally and right now I’m not hearing any more so I think it should be safe to go up these stairs we might need to rebuild the staircases

Here and there but we should come up to another treasure room now it is here that we need to be a little bit more careful about any piglets that might be patrolling further up because those piglens will get mad if we open these chests and as you can see this one here

Is resting on a piece of gilded black Stones so without bringing a piston with us moving the Blackstone over and placing a hopper underneath we can’t really take advantage of the hopper trick instead what I’m going to do is simply box off this area since the

Piglens will not mind if we open the chest and take the contents they’re only going to be alerted to our presence if we break it so as long as they’re not looking at me raiding these chests it should be perfectly fine for me to do that here we go we’ve got another snout

Banner pattern good that we’ve got two of those and a golden apple and some blocks of gold this is not a bad haul we also have some golden boots in here with soul Speed 3 which is a really cool enchantment that I don’t have on my regular diamond boots quite yet so that

Might be of interest to some of you but right now I’m not really interested in sacrificing armor for the sake of a little extra speed and having said that I’m gonna brace myself for the piglets getting mad at me once again because I need to break my Ender Chest there we go

I’ve left a little bit of loot in each of these chests nothing much to write home about we’ll take the golden apple with us just in case and I might grab the obsidian but who needs this many arrows I can see the piglets marching around outside trying to get to me but

If I hide down here for long enough eventually their angry snorts will die down and they’ll just go back to being normal passive piglets yeah it seems like those guys have chilled out a little bit that’s good let’s see if we can get anything else from going up to

The top of this Rampart here or if that is everything no I guess that was it since we’ve already been up there and it looks like there wasn’t too much going on let’s see if we can make our way further down into the structure from here though we’re going to once again

Ignore that bridge for a second because as we descend into the basement we can look out for a couple of Hidden Treasures there are a couple of spots down here there’s occasional rooms with lanterns in and that kind of thing but there are a couple of spots down here

Where if you spot any of the snout bricks if you find some black stone bricks with the snout pattern on them that usually indicates that there is a hidden Trove of gold somewhere down here it may not be the case in absolutely every Bastion remnants so it’s worth

Looking out for them here and there occasionally you will find a couple of snap bricks that do not lead anywhere though so it’s not always a guarantee but now with all of that done it is time to take on the main chamber of the treasure Bastion and like before I think

The best thing to do is going to be to pillar upwards and take this whole situation on from the top down because these things are expansive they are very very large spaces with lots of piglets around some regular piglets too although we didn’t worry about those as long as

We don’t aggro them in any way and as you can see there are multiple platforms around the outside and a large Central space with Broken Bridges and different walkways and it can be a bit of a challenge to explore these places effectively the first thing I’m going to

Do is walk around and make sure that I know which way I’m going which way the exits are and that any staircases that piglens could potentially walk up to attack me are blocked off I’m also paying close attention to any piglet brute sand times I happen to hear

Because if I’m above them I should be able to drop a bucket of lava on them without any more issues and it seems like there is one below me as I walk around here so going back to the entrance I’m going to dismantle a couple of blocks here and it seems like the

Brute is still below the main entrance area so once again we’re going to come up here we’re going to block off this stairway a little bit to make sure the brute can’t run up and get us but I should be safe up here on this Netherrack platform I don’t think

There’s any way for this brute to reach me so if we break out a couple more blocks here see if we can create a line of sight to get its attention and pour lava on its head there we go that is that threat neutralized we should be

Okay from here on out we’ll spot a couple more piglet brutes as we descend further down the structure but we shouldn’t have any problem taking them out using the same method of course if you feel like taking on the challenge of fighting piglet brutes one on one be my

Guest but they are a bit dangerous and I don’t really want to lose some of the equipment that I brought with me much less any of the loot and items that I’ve acquired so far so aside from the stuff that I’ve got stashed in my Ender Chest

Now I stand to lose quite a lot if I die in here so I’m gonna try and avoid that as much as possible now let’s Bridge across here because I have just spotted another chest on the opposite side there whoa and that is something that we didn’t want to happen

Especially if a piglet brute was down there waiting for us this chest is once again placed on top of some gilded Blackstone if you brought a piston with you you could break a block there break a block here Shuffle that along and use the hopper trick but in this case I

Think I’m just gonna make do with opening this up risking the piglets getting mad at me because we found the music disc Pig step this is another one of those Bastion exclusive loot items that is really nice to have from this place along with a bit of crying

Obsidian which you can trade from piglens normally and some gilded Blackstone for our trouble as well there’s even a damaged looting three iron sword in here which might be kind of nice if you feel like farming some stuff with that later I’ve only got looting 2 on my diamond sword right now

So that’s actually an upgrade in terms of enchantments for the minute since that hasn’t angered any piglets I am just going to drop off any of these spare Blackstone blocks in here we can always come back for those a little bit later and I’m going to avoid breaking my

Ender Chest because we are getting very close to the center here where as you can see there is a little treasure room in the center of a large pit of lava once again patrolled by piglets although if I drop down onto this middle Bridge here it seems like the two piglet brutes

That are patrolling there are going to run underneath me so that might be a good opportunity to pour some lava onto them what the heck we’ll give it a go there we go we should be able to pull the lava down into the hole right there and hopefully that should catch one or

Both of the piglet brutes that are now underneath us there we go and the other thing to pay attention to is the fact that magma cubes are now spawning down here and that’s nothing to do with the biome that is actually a Magma Cube spawner positioned at one end of this

Bridge so we’ve got to be a little bit wary of that but we can make our way down here where I’m pretty sure the only remaining piglet brute in the entire structure is over there in that corner right now and he’s not really paying us any attention so I’m going to back off

In this direction we’re going to dig our way down towards the rest of the structure bearing in mind that there is a lava below us and from here we can see that there is a Magma Cube spawner dangling from a chain underneath that bridge so we need to be a little bit

Careful of that we’re going to bridge our way inwards here paying close attention to our surroundings just in case any of the piglens drops in on us once we’re here we can notice a couple of other things there is a square of lava in the middle of this structure

There which we need to make sure we are not messing with the Flames from this spawner are currently active because we are close enough which means we’re going to be spawning a Magma Cube every 10 to 40 seconds so if you want to if you just

Wanted to make this area safe you could destroy that spawner but personally I’m more interested in blocking this area off with whatever blocks I brought with me in this case some Cobblestone I’m going to try my best to secure this perimeter just to make sure that none of

The piglins are going to see me and none of the magma cubes are gonna get in and with that accomplished we can do a couple of things first of all we can take a look at the contents of these treasure chests and these are going to have some of the most important loot

That it is possible to get around here sorry just making sure that that didn’t spawn inside the box that we’re in but look at this we have a diamond chest plate with Unbreaking three we have some diamond leggings admittedly they have cursor Vanishing and this sword has been

Of arthropods but hey that is better than nothing we also have a smithing template that you cannot find anywhere else and this is very important for upgrading a piece of our equipment to netherite netherite is a tier of equipment above diamond and it’s possible that in some of these

Structures we can find the materials we need to do that one netherite Ingot is what we need but we also have some ancient debris here and look at that another netherite upgrade template so now we have two of those and of course we can reproduce them using diamonds in

Much the same way we can other smithing templates we have a bunch of gold blocks to put in here I’m going to put the netherite smithing templates in there as well along with some of this more important Diamond gear all of the Gilded Blackstone the ancient debris and the

Netherite I think I’ll also put that diamond sword in there as well the diamond leggings are less important since they have cursor Vanishing I can bring those with with me and now we’re going to aggro every piglet in the area by breaking not just my Ender Chest but

All of these Gold Blocks as well luckily by this point we’ve taken out most of the piglens in the area that could do us the most harm those being the piglet brutes and they would attack us regardless of what blocks we ended up breaking it seems like I didn’t hear any

Other angry piglet noises while I was doing that as well which means that there weren’t enough piglens Close Enough by to actually see or hear me breaking those blocks and it seems like the majority of them were just patrolling the perimeter around here meaning that this Central area with the

Lava lake around it was relatively untouched once again there is one more piglet brute still down here and he’s gonna try and run towards me where I am if he spots me but he can’t reach me doesn’t want a pathfind into the lava and he is still guarding a single chest

That is down here and I think I might leave that chest for now along with the pig Lim brute because there might be a reason for us to want a piglet brute in future so I might actually leave one of them in this structure since this Bastion seems to be relatively close to

The point where we enter the nether it really wasn’t that long of a Strider ride to get here after all now I’m going to pillar back up to the entrance to the Bastion and we’re gonna make our way back out to The Strider because at this point I’ve gathered enough loot that I’m

Happy we have finished raiding this Bastion and it’s time to head home so back out onto this bridge we go we could always grab these Gold Blocks as we leave since there don’t seem to be any piglets around guarding them and it is worth noting that despite the structure

Being filled with piglens we are in a warped forest biome and a lot of these piglens will be spawned with the structure which is to say they aren’t natural spawns in this area and if we wanted to clear out this Bastion Remnant entirely and kill all of the piglens

Inside they will not actually respawn Piglet and brutes never will but regular piglens would only respawn here if this was a nether wastes or Crimson forest biome so as long as no part of this structure intersects with the netherweights or a Crimson Forest we might actually have a completely empty

Bastion if we kill all of the piglens inside meaning we could do whatever we want when with the structure for the time being I’ve also left that Magma Cube spawner untouched because there’s a lot we can do with that structure a little bit later I also spotted this

Earlier but I didn’t really want to touch it whilst there were still piggling Roots around there is one more gold block there which I will quickly grab before making our way back down to our little guide rail that I left down here as I was bridging around past the

Structure there we go we can use this to make our escape and we’ve done it the Enderman are gathering here to welcome me back and potentially block my Escape excuse me gentlemen there we go just want to squeeze past you oh lovely all right so time to find that Strider that

I should have left corraled up over here by the lava lake and there we go our faithful Strider is still there in his little Cobblestone box we’ve still got our warped fungus on a stick and we can make our way out of here having successfully pulled off the heist of the

Century at that piglin Bastion Remnant now it’s simply a matter of remembering the way home and uh I might need to use coordinates for that but at least I know that our Central portal is going to be somewhere close to to the zero zero coordinates so once the landscape over

There starts looking familiar I’m going to make my way back to the Overworld you know what since we’re familiar with this near The Fortress I’m actually going to leave The Strider here I’m going to give him a warp fungus which I tend to do after riding a strider for a while

Because it’s kind of nice to feed them we’re gonna let him stride off into the sunset and maybe we’ll catch up with him another day but for now we can make our way back to the portal that leads to the desert and from there we can make our

Way back to my loose collection of nether tunnels and from there back to our home portal oh well that’s enough excitement for me for one day I’ve got a full inventory the ender chest is looking pretty packed as well let’s unpack everything that we got from this

Episode and then we will wrap things up we actually didn’t end up using any of our potions of fire resistance but with the amount of lava not to mention riding around a lava lake with a Strider you can kind of see why I decided to bring

Them with me can’t you anyway looking at our haul from the pig Lin Bastion there’s a great deal of stuff here to unpack let’s also swap our helmet back for that Diamond Helmet definitely feel more attached to that one so in terms of the loot we got from the pigland Bastion

This is a pretty impressive haul we ended up with an efficiency 5 diamond pickaxe a diamond sword with a bane of arthropods one we got the curse of Vanishing leggings but we also got an Unbreaking three chest plate in there as well we got a bunch of useful blocks

Including some more obsidian crying obsidian and Bone blocks from inside of those chests some magma cream for more potion brewing a ton of gold blocks and a few gold ingots not to mention nearly a full stack of gilded Blackstone from the chest and from various other parts

Of the structure little bits and pieces of iron as part of the treasure as well but the real treasure is over here with these five items we’re used to golden apples at this point so that’s you know a nice thing to have but certainly not the Highlight we got the pig step music

Disc which is a unique item for those Bastion remnants really nice to have that as part of our record collection and we’ll deal with music discs in a future episode we got a netherite upgrade grade smithing template which is going to allow us to upgrade our Diamond

Gear to netherite along with some of the material we need to do that a single netherite Ingot and two pieces of ancient debris which we can smelt down into netherite scrap and combine with gold ingots in order to make near the right Ingot ourselves we also shouldn’t

Forget that we got the snout to Banner pattern from raiding this Bastion we got two of those actually and those are really nice for decorating banners which is another subject we’ll get on to in a future episode but the chains and gold nuggets aside that is what we got from

Today and we’re going to save the netherite upgrade process for another episode because that has changed in this most recent update in Minecraft 1.20 and I think it’s really deserving of an episode all by itself so that is what we will cover in the next episode along
