Hello everyone this is polygon wizard welcome back to my let’s play of Minecraft 1.8 today we’re going to take a little trip into the nether but first we’re going to show you what I’ve been up to since last time on pretty fication around the place so without further ado Let’s get started you may already notice right off the bat there’s something new over here what are we looking at well first let’s go up here and see the tower back here in the background farms over there this is kind of the little hologram to showed you last time where The skeleton spawner grinder thing is at and so over here this is where there used to be kind of like a hole in here covered it up down a little bit more terraforming they still come up through here along this pipe and down but as you can see there’s actual pretty room down There instead of just boring old stone and stuff so let’s go down there and take a look show you what I got so you don’t rap about there’s some stairs and some pretty bushes and stuff mostly for lighting and put some jack o lanterns in the floor this is all just plain old White you know walls and some cool grey floors with the dark oak planks there just to kind of get a cool I don’t know rough industrial look it’s not super-clean but it’s not you know stone and dirt either I made a big blue window To look up here and you can see the pipe as like skeletons go by and then drop down there and I meet some bushes to make it all pretty one for some vines on here in the future I just have not found a Swamper jungle yet to harvest vines From I also need vines for my banner I’ve got a cool banner design worked out that I want to make but I can’t make it until I get vines unfortunately so I have to go do some more exploring and get that but let’s take a little bit More look this is where we’re going to make us son portal I’ve got it all blocked out already i just got to go make a flint and steel first so if we keep heading on down we got us a nice semi railed staircase whatever you are called it There’s your window there and out here is the spawner room so it looks a little nicer than last time I think I still haven’t put a hopper in the bottom because I’m lazy but I got a couple chests arrows bones I put one for the Armor and bows up here I got a bit of extra for when we go back we’re gonna make an armor stain so I want to get some extra bits and bobs to put on it don’t think I have enough that’s all right you can fill it out later so let’s Go what this place is looking at like I still need to finish up the ceiling a little bit because I don’t quite get to that I ran out of slabs when I was over here earlier and then just never got back to finishing it quite yet because i Was finishing this off let’s see there he goes get some more yeah there you go nice viewing window sup buddy me I let’s head back to the tower I did a little work over there as well we’re making armor stand before i come back over here and see what waits in another i’m Excited it’s gonna be fun get us some glow stone and some quartz it’s got a great hmm so as you can see i already have one armor stand here we put another one on the other side of the door i’m in a little bit of a fancy thing over the Doorway because like i said before once i get glowstone I’m gonna make rest of lamps and do some stairs and stuff to make this all more fancy here on the corners as well but I went ahead and added some bushes and things just to make it nicer as you can see also got Rid of the enchanting table and we made a staircase up here to another floor which is where i put that if it’s just perfectly in there to where i can get just enough tables to forked work so i’ve got a bunch of books in here i got A sharpness 31 haven’t done that much enchanting because i have been busy which i won’t get to here in a minute i just want to show you quickly what this looks like up here here’s the pink room it’s real tiny know what I’m going to do in here it’s Not much room you know might put some a little bit of a shelf or something in here no idea and then up here I’m going two ladders to floor so I’ve got one here and then there’s going to be a way up to another sort of floor there may be Up there I don’t know at least one more maybe two I kinda want a floor everywhere there are windows so that you could be like hey what’s up alright so back down we go honest it’s okay luckily i have my new i don’t think i had these last episode feather falling for diamond Boots i got feather falling for from a book i believe in so i put it on here so eventually maybe you’ll get someone breaking and put it on there as well let’s make an armor stand shall we oops I forgot up here’s where my smooth stone Is and I have a stone slab already awesome so we’ll just slap this down here now if you’ve ever made then our stand new 21.8 this is how you do it lots of sticks and a stone slab whoops I got an extra sticks BAM understand there You go and I believe this is like banners and that you could place them at angles I don’t think you can do quite as many as others the hitbox is a little weird okay that is strange there we go and how’d it do that for to me before Anyway let’s put it where it’s supposed to go so in case oh it doesn’t weird alright let’s see we’re gonna put the golden helmet over here because that looks cooler and then hmm i’m inside about the pants yet due to do well probably yeah we should put the pants Over there because this is turning out to be all leather so at least i got something to do with all that extra armor from the skeleton grinder over there i can get some stuff and put armor stands in places and use it for decoration so I think it looks pretty cool Not too shabby hope you guys like it all right I need to make a flint and steel so I need to go down here and one of those actually I’m going back to flint and steel and a chest take some cowell just because that way I can have a flint And steel here and I can have one in the nether that’s why I made a chest and some couple I’ll wall it off a little bit so in case I need to and we can have a flint and steel so let’s head down to the nether and i’ll talk to you about How busy I’ve been I wanted to put an episode of a little sooner but I’ve had a bunch of work that I needed to get done and then also just a week after labor day holiday here in the states i had that monday off and then the rest of The week was kind of like a we could have to two weeks packed into four days it was kind of nuts and it helped it all off you know just from working and all that stuff as well my wife’s laptop broke so we had to get her a new one to Replace it like the screen was all like shattered and cracked and stuff and it wasn’t working anymore so we got a new one that got it in yesterday and I’ve been doing set up with it so BAM there you go I think it looks pretty nice we Might get some pig man wandering in here every once in a while but not bad let’s see what we get we need to go deeper you go deeper indeed this thing is not loading what’s going on there we go ouch whoa that is not something i like it sit On the side of the hill okay let’s do a quick little black off job shall we alright so yeah the setup is fun for laptop it’s like you know any PC or something you doing it and it’s just like it always takes longer than you Wanted to to do all the stuff waiting on progress bars all that fun goodness doop doop doo doo so anyway when I fuses the laptop for University and classes and stuff she’s doing a master’s program and the laptops it’s like required for you to have it she needs some special Software to run on it plus kind of general normal stuff like office and oh there we go like office and a couple one you know new web browsers because who wants Internet Explorer anyway and let’s see a couple other things i need to put On there as well and i got like half of it done last night so i gotta deuce mora on that what is that it’s a gravel hanging up in the air oh wait what is that that is gravel that’s weird half grab will have souls and this is kind of A little bit of a crazy nether going on that’s nice a lot of lakes and stuff down there all right before I forget I’m going to put this chest down with a flint and steel because that way you can see that way if the portal got blasted heroes from both in there for Now whatever we have a backup so let’s go find some stuff I should have brought my silk touch so that i can get glowstone but that’s all right since I’m the only one it’s not that big a deal wait let’s get some courts this guy’s is How you get XP man so yeah like I said before I wanted to build a banner for you guys gotta get a cool design but I don’t have the vines yet so unfortunately we can’t do that but I can’t get some glowstone here hopefully we don’t get any guest surprises or lava Apparently you all right be careful this is a dangerous place yeah man with all the cool new stuff in 1.8 I’m hoping in the future like 1.9 or even two point oh whatever that eventually yes like I just got tired I didn’t want to knock that One right above me in case there was a little la la doo doo alright six glowstone we’re kind of ways to go on but that’s alright yeah totally just forgot what I was saying getting good at this right guys uh-huh this looks like I’m on pretty much a nice little island And then there’s like another kind of level above me where we had any way we are at why 57 so anyway you guys don’t wanna see me money courts all day I was hoping there was like an easy way down we might go up actually What I’m gonna do real quick man has a lot of pigment over here so tempting don’t hit them all right there we go minus thirty one and five so I’m pretty close to 00 ish if I head towards zero zero from any way or another I will be Able to see my portal as long as I’m on the right level so let’s go I’m gonna go off kind of this direction somewhere see if I can find a way that’s not down to a level lake and I’ll be back with you guys all right guys just is just a few Minutes later I hit stop recording earlier like just about two seconds too early because I went over a hill there was a gas that spawned like right in front of my face and I ended up shooting it’s a you know fire charged straight back at him with love the arrow or the Lucky shadows pretty cool unfortunately I wasn’t recording oh don’t you just hate it when that happens but after i get this Court’s really quick sorry guys i know it’s great content look he’s mine + quartz again but I needs it I like the courts I just wanted to show you this Here I’m up higher than I was and this is just kind of a cool little area with a bunch of different platforms and some level Falls going down so i just wanted to show it to you because I thought it was neat oh yes and I totally remember What I was talking about earlier with my wish list for 1.9 or two point oh I don’t know any future update I want them to add biomes to the nether because the nether is just big old blob of nothing and if you’ve ever played a mod pack With whoa what is that I don’t know the better biomes thing or whatever it’s called it’s a mod that adds tons of biomes to the overworld and you know to the nether there’s a bunch of different ones there’s different trees a few different mobs and a whole bunch of like different I’ll play life there’s even like Ivy that grows in there that doesn’t grow the overworld all sorts of stuff so it makes going through the nether actually fun because you’re actually exploring stuff and there’s new stuff to see and so just like opeth on fortress and look At all that neither right guys and it’s sure pretty know so it’s like now pretty much the only reason you ever go to the nether is for if you have to travel and you’ve set up a nice portal system or something or you go to the nether you Know go to a fortress and get supplies you get your course you get your glow stone that’s the only reason you ever come down here and you can know you can still make it kind of you know like a hellscape or whatnot whoa scary okay I was hoping that would lead somewhere hmm It did but there’s no way I’m falling on with that sheesh okay but you can still make it still kind of uninviting and creepy and scary-looking without having it be just same old same old it’s been the same old same old for forever now yes they had a quartz but that doesn’t Really do a whole lot you know and besides course has been here for a long time now so yeah I don’t know um I wonder if there’s a way around down here we’re gonna try this maybe yeah doop do doop doo doo so I’d love to see new Biomes I think that’s what something that’s very high on my wish list for minecraft is like eventually add another biomes there man could be very cool alright well there’s that yeah I don’t know that I’m gonna be getting very far this way without just getting completely Lost and going down to the bottom but you don’t really want to do because I would be up to near where the glowstone is all right well I’m going to do some more running around and I won’t get back with you guys have a find anything interesting all right everybody I’ve Come back from the nether and we’re gonna try a new look building i’m going to try to remember how this thing looks actually we’ll do that later it’s easier to do now i need to do to do if i’m remembering correctly I will fix it later but I’m Gonna try build this based on the memory of what I had okay I need to make some redstone lamps first though 12 I think any 12 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 yes all right oops I need some redstone for that poifect Rest on lamps don’t matter due to do all I don’t as it should work ok I need to build some levers to think six will do me it’s been awhile since I actually put this together in creative so I was trying to remember exactly how did it so Actually i might have this wrong her oh i dunno where the lamps go for sure so that’s fine it blocks the not view from the outside yeah I did that wrong okay because what we do is we switch these on like so then this goes in from it yeah so we’ll do That a minute all I’m going to place does this shift clicking and then placing on the lever so that you don’t switch it it’s the same way you can play something on a chest without opening it all right if I do that right and then let’s see I know Crap i think my shape is actually different here than what i had creative hmm interesting let’s noodle this a little bit so no I do something like us so no wait okay I’m totally way off base it’s all this weird stair placement am totally messing it up guys this is what Probability on camera sometimes especially it’s been a bit since you built it originally for something you designed you have to remember how to do it properly all right let’s set this up we can get rid of this torch as you can see these like the inside up quite a bit Dearer that torch don’t think what’s my black light level here in the corner nine I think we should be fine we can always change and add more lighting another time but that should be good okay I do know that these go out in front so let’s do that now eventually I’ve got banners That go in here so i need to find those lines so i can make banners they hang in front of this and of course whoops let’s take that off we’ve got the banners that go outside if you’ll remember from when i told you guys about it shoot hangs there we go Dog and done and I do know that the Kaaba wall goes down here like that if I correctly then I also had something with it on top I can’t remember was mirrored or not I think it was let’s see how that looks actually let’s not because it goes In with the stairs somehow and I don’t know exactly how that works alright guys I’m gonna take a quick break and look at my screen shot again really quick and I will be back with you and there we have it after latrella lira and uh re looking At my screen shot I realized that this was in the wrong way see here I had to go back and down and this one it needs you and he’s coming back it up so the two towels in the front that’s the important part and that’s what was kind Of throwing me off whoops so we’ll change that up really quick because what that allows us to do is go to stare the back and then we have it there to support and curve out and come here and then cap it all so you get it to go that Way and do the same here whoops what am i doing but it all wrong that’s what I’m doing there you go and then stone wall on the sides and then iron bars in the middle and we kind of like mere that on to the top so we’re gonna do the easier One on the bottom here again that’s not how I placed you do the right mr. stairs there you go I’m gonna run out or make some more stone brick all right that’s okay luckily we have some so still wall bam bam and bam bam and then our bars in the middle I experimented With glass in here like different colored glass and I just didn’t like the look of it that much I could have also done the case of doors again which actually we try it since I never tried it before let’s see what it looks like I Don’t know that I like it so much but in theory it could work it’s like you have space or see your dirt or you could have it right up against it some one good thing with the iron bars as they go straight in the middle I don’t know I Think I’ll leave it for now we’ll see what looks like myself put together cuz the banners that go here here and here there’s also all sorts of banners they are all going to be purple eventually is this our main magenta and purples kind of main colors of it although it starts As a yellow banner figure that one out oh no you i’ll show you when i finally a vine skirt let’s see I’ve got so stone here went out we’ll just make a whole new thing nothing come on it not that difficult what do I do let’s make have a Stack right now and let’s get up here and work our mojo so that should be fine make us a row scaffold here and we’ll do the same thing down on the bottom on the top just the other ways so get a thing there turn that flip it Like a so shift so I don’t fall off whoops that’s not the way to go there we go and one more on the side yeah it worked okay now we need put this stone wall here and here and here and I can go back down whoops that was not Worth a pillar was with it it’s okay let’s see what that looks like with the cap on top no I think I do like the door further back in there it does give a splash of color and it also ties it to what it looks like on the outside where You have the same kind of rested bars look as it orange and orange goes well with purple so i think i’m going to leave it i might switch those out later we’ll leave it for now and i’ll quickly do this on camera so you can see it one More time i was a funky third place do you do there we go yeah this stuff isn’t really meant to be much of anything other than some kind of weird decorative stone work i guess to make the lights look pretty that’s pretty much what i ended started With cuz i was like hey I’ve got these lights that I put on here in this creative build and I put them there to light things up but they look ugly just sitting there all flopped out into the room what can we do to make it look Cooler so that’s kind of what I ended up with is uh these things oh well there you go so that’s kind of what it looks like with that there I guess what we could do I don’t know yeah we’ll just wait up and I was like I could go run Out to the sheep farm we go get some wool and then come back i just put some plain banners up but we’ll wait till i get the real banner cuz yeah we’re wasting is enough time as it is where’s that water drip coming from that’s weird Maybe I’m seeing things Oh No so other than sort of the banners we’ve got kind of this a bottom area filled out pretty much so that looks to be a little well enough anyway plus its tears so they can’t really do stairs whoops i forgot The wall didn’t I one more thing and I’m one short never fear crafting bench is here whoops let’s do it that way it works better alright I hope you guys enjoyed our little non adventure to the nether it’s just kind of like hard to get anywhere right around there by my Portal so we have to do a little bit more exploring and see if there’s some good paths around to do stuff and eventually i’ll find a fortress and then we can explore together but that will have to be another day i hope you guys enjoyed this little building we did Inside the tower and all the other decoration that i did off camera before and showed you guys over there by the skeleton spawner so you know things are taking shape i haven’t gotten as much time to play in the last week as i would
