PotatoPie25 – How to WIN Hive Skywars EVERY TIME! (Tips and Tricks)

So for the past few weeks i’ve pretty much only been playing skywars if i play on the hive like i said in the enchanted helmet video pretty much i really like it just because the pvp is super fast pace and you can just play a lot of games and get

A lot of good pvp and at this point i feel like i’ve played enough hype skywars to have a little bit of authority and talk about and give tips on how to play and win hive skywars also this guide is meant to be for solo skywars now for the team modes honestly

Still most this guide will work but some of the strategy might be a little bit different however if you’re playing in team modes most likely you’re playing with friends or people that you know and you can communicate with so it shouldn’t really be a problem either way

You have to play around it what i’m saying by this is don’t fall in and make other people fall in use the void to your strengths the most obvious way to hit someone in the void is to most definitely hit them while they’re bridging or for some reason over the void

Like snowballing them off or shooting them with a bow or even just hitting them off while they’re on a bridge however because quite a lot of skywars players are decent in the game and have decent movement and pvp skills hitting them off while they’re on a bridge

Might not be the most effective way especially since speed bridging is in the game and speed bridging is fast and they can just get across the void pretty quickly without being that affected by snowballs and bows i think the most effective way to hit people off the map

Is to combo them hive skywars is kind of unique in the fact that you can get really good gear really quickly and so unless you don’t have good gear the time that takes to kill you with like a regular weapon is actually pretty long assuming you can catch someone not paying attention or

Looting it’s pretty easy just to get a couple hits on them and chain it into a combo and just hit them off the map without them really having time to react it’s also why looting near the edge of the map is a huge no-no just because people can sneak up on you

Get a couple hits and you’re done for that game even if they don’t hit you off the map they’ve still gotten a few free hits on you and they can just get you into a combo where you can’t hit them and they can hit you and you’re dead in five seconds

Another important skill i touched on earlier is speed bridging now speed bridging is very important in skywars because it helps you get across the void very quickly and minimizing the time spent over the void is something very important and necessary in skywars for beginners in bedrock speed bridging is actually

Pretty hard but once you practice it a little bit and get it down it’s like riding a bike you literally won’t forget how to do it now there are like a million tutorials on how to speed bridge in minecraft bedrock and i suggest you just go look at one of those

And that’ll probably give you a good idea of how to do it however if you want to practice it on your own i would suggest going into just like a super flat world or something and literally just run and place blocks below you assuming you can do that and keep the

Blocks placing below you you can do it while you’re in the sky as well it does the same exact thing alright so let’s talk about trapping i’m sure that if you’ve played skywars for more than an hour you’ve probably gotten trapped at some point some people find it fun personally i

Just find it annoying to play against but it’s a legitimate strategy that can win you games now i’m not gonna teach you how to trap because frankly i’m really bad at it but i will tell you guys a little bit about how to avoid traps and some signs that people are trapping

If you have a tracking compass generally it’ll point to the island and if you don’t see them on the island chances are they’re probably crouching in a corner underground on their island trying to trap also if you’re following someone and they’re running and they try and lead

You back to theirs or another island chances are they’re trapping like in this footage right here where he tries to lead me back to his island i obviously just kind of jumped over his trap since it was fairly obvious that by the way he was running he was just

Trying to get me back to his island so he could trap me also people that are trapping that don’t have that much gear generally are trapping and if there’s running it’s fairly apparent like i said that they are trapping all right so let’s talk about gear in skywars

Specifically for late game if you want to survive at all and not get four or five shot you’re gonna need diamond armor or at least mostly diamond armor if you have chain or iron armor like i said you’re probably gonna get four or five shot by a sharp one or sharp two iron

Sword or a diamond sword just because they do so much damage against the armor that you have if you have diamond armor or mostly diamond armor chances are you will survive a little bit longer however the best gear in skywars and like i talked about in my last video about helmets

If you have protection one helmet or protection one boots make sure to put them on with a full set of diamond armor and basically you won’t take damage anymore like i said in that video from what i can tell and what i can tell from others

It’s just a bug but you don’t really take damage at all when you have that helmet on also let’s talk about skywars fights and how most the time if they’re on regular flat ground with no void around they’ll typically go on for a long time as a result of this

After a long fight your health probably will be pretty low now to increase your chances of surviving and to make the fight go longer and have a better chance of winning make sure you have the max amount of extra hearts available do this by mining redstone whenever you get the

Chance one trick that a lot of people actually don’t know about is if you have the max amount of redstone hearts and you haven’t eaten a golden apple yet gapple up and you’ll actually get two extra hearts from the gapple on top of the already five extra hearts that you get from mining

Redstone so you can have a total of 17 total hearts and you can literally just face tank damage another interesting tip completely unrelated to all of this and i don’t have footage of unfortunately is the knockback nemo specifically it’s the little like clown fish that you can get

From mining emeralds either way if people hit that with you be sure to crouch and you actually won’t get hit off the map for whatever reason i’m not sure if it’s a bug or what but it only does horizontal knockback it doesn’t knock you up into

The air at all it only knocks you backwards and so as a result of this if you want to stay alive while someone’s hitting you with a knockback fish just crouch and you’ll be hit to the edge of the map but you won’t actually fall off you’ll just hit the edge

Barrier and then you’ll be good if you get hit by the knockback nemo so i think that’s gonna about wrap up the tips for me i will add that most of these tips and tricks can still be used on mobile and controller honestly i’ve seen some really good controller and mobile players
