Supposed to be watching over on the live Channel um so if you see that pinned message up at the top of the screen it says be sure to watch stream on the live Channel that’s where you want to make sure that you go um you switch over because maybe about

An hour or two hours in or so I don’t know how long I’m going to go but a little while in we’re gonna I’m gonna push everybody over anyway so make sure you’re on the right channel peeps so um today I am going to take what’s kind of my first time

I’ll explain the kind of part in a second kind of my first time into modded Minecraft modded Minecraft being on Java Edition not on Bedrock you can’t do full Monitor and Bedrock Edition I saw some of you guys talking in chat we’re gonna be in Java Edition um the main reason why

Is because I’m going to be taking a shot at doing oh what is this oh that’s cool um sorry I don’t have screened up yet I’ll put up in a minute um the main reason why is because I want to take a shot at doing a 100 days video

And I want to do it on something that I think is fun and I want to do it in a way that I think is fun and unfortunately you can’t really do 100 Days videos without doing them on Java because you need replay mod to actually do them

Um just because of the what’s expected from the viewer in terms of how the shots will be done with the camera angles and how you kind of overview things while talking at a third person point of view so um we’re gonna try it out it’s gonna be interesting because I’m not gonna know

What the heck I’m doing um I’m not gonna know a lot of things so like if we have a little bit of backseat gaming going on I think I’ll be okay with that some of you guys that maybe know like some of the functions or features or mods that I’m messing with um

Could maybe help me out and tell me some things that would be useful to me and this is serving as a practice run for that hundred days video um hold on a second um and when I say that I kind of have not done modern before I did play better

Minecraft with the kids once they like they need my help like like killing some stuff inside of like this huge structure um where they couldn’t like get through so I logged in and like helped them help them kids kill stuff so um all that being said as you can see on

Screen here we will be playing some better Minecraft um also let me check this really quick because I think I might still have this brightness filter one I do let me turn that off so you guys get more accurate colors that’s better foreign for all of my Bedrock Fanboys and

Fangirls out there I understand that uh you you like to see me keep going Bedrock um there’s some good reasons for me to play Java Edition outside of the fact that 100 Days videos do really good and they’re going to be good for the channel hopefully if I if I’m capable of making

A good 100 days video is um it’s really good for me with the things that I advocate for a wild stormy appears where she’s around then she’s freaking crazy um it’s good for me to periodically play some Java Minecraft um because it it helps me even modded it

Helps ground me and what the she went under the bed she’s I think she’s back up here somewhere now um it helps like ground me in like what what is possible and what’s not possible um on Java Edition and how things differ hold on I’m just like doing a slight adjustment here no

It just it helps me keep track of like what the differences truly are between bedrock and Java so as I go through and talk about parity talk about how things actually play talk about how they feel talk about how it is to do things in one version versus the other

Um I have a lot more first-hand knowledge rather than than second or third hand knowledge you know what I mean so it’s good for that too and um honestly better Minecraft seems like it’s gonna be some fun um I think we can make a really cool 100

Days video out of it maybe if I get decent at not getting absolutely slaughtered maybe I even try like hardcore better Minecraft but we’ll we’ll save that for later we’ll we’ll see how better Minecraft like on its own does um and yeah Little Johnny got a double tap that like

Button yeah no just triple tap single tap or triple tap odd number increments only people oh I’m this this is gonna drive me nuts because I you can’t click away from screen with job Edition in full screen because it minimizes it I don’t know why they do that but they do

Um hey Dave how’s it going so I’ll try to remember not to like click around without like hitting f11 first to like shrink the screen Waddles impersonator Woody what do you mean I’m not waddlesome person is he playing better Minecraft I don’t think he does anything modded right um

But yeah where was it I um here I want you guys to understand the shift I was looking just a few days ago I pulled up on my Twitter real quick I’m not gonna like go like super deep into this we’re gonna get into playing but I’m just letting people kind of feel

It a little bit um I did this along on a Twitter post X post I’m not gonna call it X I’m gonna call it Twitter I did this long Twitter post and I was looking up Google Trends right so uh first thing I looked at here was um Google Trends like since Inception

Basically like since 2010 um Minecraft Let’s Plays which is the blue line here you kind of see like it has like this like pretty high spike in Minecraft Let’s Plays were big for a long time um and then like smps hardcore guide content all that stuff just kind of like

Stays down here and look at 100 days like when 100 Days videos became a thing they took off and they’re still like massively ahead of anything else in the Minecraft category if you zoom in a little bit this is what it looks like without 100 days like you see or

Hardcore contents up there s p contents up here and then more like single player stuff like uh let’s plays and uh guide contents all the way down at the bottom and then lastly if you if you then add uh on the zoomed in chart you add 100 days back into it

Like it just trumps everything it’s it it gets more than everything else combined so what I want to do is I want to see if I can kind of do it my way and we can make some good content out of it and have some fun at the same time

And kind of expand the viewership of the channel where can I get this um you can if you um if you have Java Edition on your PC um you can download uh something like curse Forge and uh just search better Minecraft on there download it play it so I guess let’s get started

Or something or something and like turns on automatically anytime you start a new world or maybe that’s like not turned on I don’t know we’ll uh we’ll see I think we’ll just go with everything with on default here oh I had the wrong chat up hold on there we go

Days content for the purpose of it being 100 days although I will need to go I will do want to go watch it and kind of see how I did with it actually cat yeah she’s like buried under here oh let me see I grab her hold on

And like you’ll see her like doing flips on the bed and stuff she’s so crazy um we are not doing the feed Kitty redeem by the way we’re worried that maybe we want to rule out the treats hurting her belly and making her have not good poops so uh don’t redeem it

Because I’m not I’m not gonna do that I don’t want to possibly upset her tummy um all right here I’m going to go ahead and throw it back here how old is she um 15 weeks now I think something like that ever tried better on Bedrock Edition uh no okay all right so

Let’s get this started I think I’m gonna turn off music because I know there’s like ambient sounds and stuff I did log on this before this just to do a test run to make sure everything loaded up fine to get all my like settings for graphics and stuff good

So I think it’d be good to be able to hear those I’m not gonna have the Minecraft music on for one I don’t I don’t really like it too much and for two um I’ve I’ve heard it get copyright strike sometimes like out of nowhere so I I tend to not use it

Eerie noises yeah see I don’t know a lot about what to expect so like any of you guys that do modded like for sure like first of all you’re gonna you’re gonna see like how much of a noob I really am well how did my camera get so high uh should be good

Don’t know what it’s telling me to do I’m so confused click the check mark or where I did this hold on inventory but the icon on the top left of the screen is the what does that mean what is this FTB teams menu I don’t know what

Live on my phone but uh but the right on TV trying to figure out why chat didn’t match that’s funny um when you hover over your armor slots your trinket slots will become visible some items such as electras and totems can be equipped here uh slots with an

Eye icon at the top are cosmetic slots which are purely visual okay um hold on it’s got somebody to message me on Discord okay no it’s just notification okay equipping the charm of life from the quest reward in your Neko slot okay so click that and go here wait how

Okay there I am and then I want to wait what is that whoa portable crafting what that’s a thing attic what’s up that’s crazy okay so it says like if you hover over certain slots what’s the necklace slot it’s like hat oh okay I could go there grippable in the necklace trinket slot

If you type wood for example the REI item list at the right of the screen will show all the items with wood in the name oh hold on so if I go here and I type in Wood Ah that’s cool with wood in the name interesting man there’s lots of stuff okay

Oh wait did I get this reward what is this tasks are things that need to be done to complete a quest if a task is in as an item clicking on it will show its recipe rewards are what so like only reason I’m like I’m looking at this

Is because I’m assuming it’s going to like teach me things about how to play oh important controls that sounds important because it’s important about to get Minecraft for the first time today and watch your videos for a day or today definitely helpful definitely going to keep watching awesome thanks I appreciate it
