Hey guys, you’re watching QDCrafts and today I’m going to show you how to make a perler bead Steve that is in the form of a cool figure that you can play with and also equip with a weapon like a pickaxe, a sword, Shovel, or any of the Minecraft tools that you see in the game. In total you should have 6 3D pieces and one 2D pickaxe or sword if you decide to make that and I’ll show you how to make all the pieces that will assemble together to make one huge Steve figure. Starting off with Steve’s head, this is his front face of course. This is the back of his head. Here’s the top and bottom and this is his left and right side. After ironing your Steve head pieces, it’s time for assembly. Since this design is like a jigsaw puzzle, you can try to assemble it yourself have some fun, or you just follow me. This is the bottom piece Stick it on Then you have this piece, which is the back, this one. And then you stick it like that. See, it all fits perfectly and then put this right on top. Then this is the left side, so I get this, snap it right in the other side, and that is a Steve head. The next design to follow is Steve’s body. Depending on what color you want Steve’s shirt to be, it can be light green light blue or turquoise. So that is just a regular color that Steve wears in the game, but if you want it to be a bit different You can change it to any color you want. And once again, this is the body’s front the back the top bottom left side and right side. Very straightforward. Same assembly goes for the body. It should be really fun, and you can probably figure it out yourself, but I’ll still do them anyway So here’s the top the back This one is the bottom So you can figure out where it aligns properly side and the other side That is Steve’s body. Now for Steve’s left arm. This is the design, so here are the sides and here’s the top and bottom. Assembling the arm can be kind of tricky, but if you just follow this order, then you can do it really quick. I also forgot to mention that if you want to glue these you can definitely do so but since all of these are fused together very nicely and they all stick together Perfectly like so, since this is kind of like a jigsaw puzzle, then you can just leave it as is and it will be perfectly fine. You can also open it up anytime you want and you can maybe hide something in there. Here’s the design for the right arm of Steve and pretty much it’s almost the same thing, but there are slight differences. So make sure you copy this very carefully. Again, it’s the same thing for the right arm, Except you have to make sure that these two slots align up with each other, so let’s try assembling. Make sure that these two are like that so that Steve can hold a weapon. And this one goes on the opposite side like so oops like this And then you put on the bottom piece. And that is the right arm. For the left leg, it’s exactly the same as the left arm except it’s entirely blue with some light green color here. You have to make sure that these two light green beads will be linked with this one, so again follow this order. Put this on first. This on top and then here, where the green bead is in the corner, will be right here and then the bottom You can see that little L shape that Steve has on his pants like this. The only difference with the right leg is that everything is dark blue, So once you follow this design, you’ll be done your perler bead Steve The right leg will be exactly the same thing, so I’m not going to show you how to do that. So I’m sure you’ll have a lot of fun figuring it out. Okay, now with all of your assembled pieces, you have to do one more final assembly to connect all the limbs to the body and also the head to the body. What I have here are some toothpicks and what this will do will Hold the arms legs and head to the body and all you have to do is get them into a small slot here, right in the middle, and then you can attach it, right here inside another slot and then, you have a moving arm. Do the same with the other arms and legs. And finally, Steve’s head you can use a longer toothpick or also just use a half toothpick, but a longer one will keep it in for sure. And Steve is all assembled. He stands quite tall at around 15 centimeters. You can have him pose his arms in any way you like, But his legs can’t move but you see his arms can move, his head can turn it this way or that way and of course we need to give him a weapon! I’m not too sure if a pickaxe is considered a weapon in the Minecraft game But I think I did kill a rabbit with it, so anything that kills is a weapon to me. And once you put it in the slot you can see it fits perfectly and Steve is ready to go I hope you guys enjoyed this video of me making a 3D jigsaw perler bead Minecraft Steve figure and if you would like to see more Minecraft, tell me in the comments below. I’m not sure if any of you like this game, but I think he is pretty cute, and you can make other ones like a creeper or a zombie, but that will take a little bit more creativity and tweaking. Thanks guys for watching and I’ll see you next time with another QDCraft! Video Information

*There is one bead that is misplaced for the arm piece, so please check the annotation stating the small error. Also, I know I forgot the shoes so please check out my zombie tutorial where the shoes are included! Thanks!*
Here’s another 3D project for you guys, but it is a no-glue required project that I call jigsaw projects and I think they are really fun to make! I like making perler bead projects that can be assembled right away and just fit together perfectly so I spent a lot of time figuring out a design that satisfies me and I hope you enjoy it too! If you want to glue it, go ahead! It wouldn’t hurt and it just makes sure that your Steve figure is super sturdy and ready to play with 🙂 Thanks for watching and don’t forget to subscribe, like and share if you want to 😉
I don’t know who came up with this idea originally but it is definitely a great one and there are many perler beaders who have done their version of Steve. Credit goes to whoever thought of this concept! The templates for my Steve were created by myself however and are my original patterns.
PS The projects that I designed are not for commercial use and please don’t redistribute my templates. I’d really appreciate you sharing the original video ^_^ If you want to recreate or modify one of my projects and post it, please tag me @QDCrafts so I can see it and give it a like! Remember to always BE CREATIVE! 😀
