What’s going on dudes welcome to the channel i’m cookie bags and today my news i’m gonna be teaching you all about the best weapons and the enchantments for these weapons in minecraft 1.18 so stick around if you guys are interested also my dudes if you’re new to the Channel don’t forget to smash sub i’d really appreciate the support and also don’t forget to smash like let’s get started all right so in this box we have a variety of weapons we’re gonna be going over today from the sword to the axe to the trident to the shield to the Bose to the crossbows so let’s go ahead and start it off with the swords so we have two different variants of swords here and we’re going to be talking about them today so we have this smite sword and we have the sharpness 5 sword so the difference between sharpness 5 and smite Sharpness 5 is going to be better attack damage on any mob you fight so as we can see here we have 11 attack damage versus the smite 5 which is the 8 attack damage now that being said smite works better on undead mobs so for example the wither For skeletons things like that is going to be stronger against so the difference between these two swords we have unbreaking three on this one mending sharpness five looting three sweeping edge three and fire aspect two and then on this one the only difference is smite versus the sharpness now what do i Recommend i recommend getting the sharpness and then keeping a smite five sword as a wither killing sword because obviously it does great damage to the wither now some of these other enchantments on here i’m breaking three we all know that what that does it actually makes it so the sword won’t Break as quickly mending makes it so it heals itself over time using xp so you kill a zombie and you will get xp back and then we got sharpness five which of course that increases the attack damage and then we got looting three looting three is great looting three actually Increases your chance for mobs to drop more loot for say gun powder it will drop up to one to three gunpowder instead of just one so that’s like a good example on a creeper so you kill a creeper it’ll drop more gunpowder in a one and three chance um looting three Works great for getting wither skeleton skulls as well um sweeping edge three sweeping edge three does actually more sweeping damage which is really great for when you’re attacking various mobs and of course there are different levels to looting three i’m breaking three sweeping edge three there’s all Different levels and number three is the highest fire aspect two is really good as well it actually sets your opponent on fire now depending on what the opponent is like skeletons zombies um creepers things like that and if you want you can actually use fire aspect Too to cook food on the go if you kill a cow it’ll actually cook it and turn it from raw beef to steak which is amazing so basically these swords are pretty much identical besides one having smite and one having sharpness five so that’s up to you on what you’d rather use now We have two other swords to look at here and these are actually the best fully enchanted swords in the game now of course we got the sharpness 5 versus the smite 5 again but these ones actually have knockback and let me show you what knockback does some people really like Knockback and some people don’t and that’s why i made this separate because we’re gonna see the differences now how now here we have an innocent villager and we’re gonna be testing the knockback versus non-knockback so this is not knockback as you can see it made him jump about One to two blocks here now if we put another villager down and use knockback you can see a big difference there uh he launched like five blocks and as you can see the fire aspect to there is working great so that’s the difference between knockback and not having knockback of Course knockback’s gonna be a little bit better for facing things like creepers to keep them away from you but certain things like guardian skeletons things like that that can hit you from distance it’s not so good to have knockbacks so that’s a decision you have to make on Your own moving into the axes here we have the nether sharpness 5 axe and then we have of course the smite 5x now obviously this is the same thing again it’s totally up to you guys on what you guys want to set up here now this axe actually has i’m breaking three mending And sharpness five it’s set up for combat um like i said again for the undead if smite five is better but if you’re facing just in general mobs this is gonna be a lot better because 13 attack damage that is huge that is absolutely massive compared to the 11 of The swords so just some one thing to consider and yes axes do take longer to attack like you got to make sure you aim your attacks up but they do heck of damage like that all right now moving on we have the two different types of tridents we’re gonna Grab these triangles we’re gonna go test them out in the field here all right so there’s two different tridents and the two differences are actually channeling versus riptide and we’re gonna be testing these out but in general both of them have um breaking mending and they actually have impaling five now the Channeling one has loyalty three and this one here doesn’t now loyalty three is actually going to when you throw this it’s going to come back to you so as you can see it came back and yes we’re in creative mode but it still will come back in survival mode now the riptide One as you can see i can’t throw it so the riptide one is actually for launching yourself up in the air when you’re in water which is really really cool because this works great if you’re underwater so if you go underwater we go down here if we break this go a little Lower you can actually launch yourself underwater which is really really cool as you can see here and you can launch yourself out of the water it’s really neat i don’t use it too often but it’s really really cool now if it’s raining you can actually use riptide through the rain which is really Really cool i don’t really like using it too too much but it works good when you’re actually using an elytra with it um it is really cool but i don’t really use it all right now we’re gonna get into my favorite trident which is channeling channeling is really really Cool with loyalty t3 so as you can see we have a thunderstorm brew in here oh baby so you can actually cause lightning to strike using channeling by throwing your trident at a mob watch this bam did you see that how cool is that it’s also the one way to get charged Creepers to get mob heads but how insane is that damn dudes he is dead now we’re going to talk about impaling because both of these have impaling so the only difference between them is riptide versus the loyalty 3 with the channeling so impaling now impaling is different on Both versions of minecraft which is really really weird now on bedrock edition it’s weird they have extra damage to mob and water so if you’re in the water and you hit a mob in the water apparently it’s going to do extra damage and yeah it does extra damage while They’re in the water now for job edition it’s kind of different we actually have to use impaling on aquatic mobs so as we can see here this is a aquatic mob and apparently it deals more damage to these guys and that was actually quite a bit Of damage uh in java edition but in bedrock edition it does more damage to mobs that are in the water so i kind of like java editions better it makes a little bit more sense but really cool all right we’ve got two bows here to test out now the bows are pretty simple The difference between the bows are infinity and mending so one mending obviously it fixes itself over time and then the other infinity you can shoot unlimited arrows for example here we can go ahead and grab an arrow out here go on survival mode we shoot one arrow and as You can see here we have unlimited arrows which is really really cool and it’s convenient and you’ll never run out of arrows now the mending one over here will run out of arrows so as you can see we’ll shoot this one and the arrow is Gone now some of the uh some of the actual enchantments we want to talk about here is on breaking three we all know what that does it doesn’t break the boat as fast power five is gonna give you the most damage possible from your arrows punch two is actually gonna set The distance it’s kind of like almost it’s basically the same as the knockback 2 but on a bow so if you want to test that out here boom that’s the uh that’s the knockback right there it’ll launch them pretty far versus your regular bow that won’t like Launch them as far um then we got flame of course you’ve seen he lights on fire and we can see flames coming from there and then for the last one is our mending and versus the infinity next up on the list here is our crossbows we got multi Shot versus the piercing crossbow both these crossbows have unbreaking three mending and quick charge but then on the piercing one we have piercing versus the multi shot so let’s test out the difference between multi shot and piercing so with multi shot it’s pretty simple we go ahead and draw back and Boom it shoots three arrows one two and three instead of your regular crossbow that shoots one arrow at a time now remember that only uses one arrow out of your inventory which is very convenient now piercing piercing is kind of cool now you can’t have both multi shot and Piercing on the same bow um i kind of wish you did i don’t know why they didn’t but i don’t know guess it makes sense piercing is basically going to shoot here and as you can see i shot through that cow to the next cow so technically this cow just took an arrow Straight through it oh my god we got a thunderstorm all right my dudes and that’s the difference between multi-shot and piercing i personally would go with multi-shot multi shots kind of cool piercing i guess you can get an advancement with it so that’s one thing As well and then for the last item here dudes we have the shield the shield the almighty shield now if you guys didn’t know you can actually go ahead and enchant your shield you actually have to use it by using books instead of actually getting your um instead of Using your enchantment table so you have to use books you can get um breaking three and mending so those are the two different enchantments you can throw on your shields now in going over all these weapons my dudes yes you can use your enchantment table or you can use your villager by Using different books and swapping out your lectern every single time and he will give you different traits alright my dudes that was a quick guide on all the different weapons with the different enchantments in minecraft job edition if you think i missed something drop it down in the comments section and maybe We’ll go over it in another video if you guys enjoy the
