gonna be a brand new series for us Y’all and it’s an interesting one I have explored this this pack a little bit and I I do like it before we get too deep into it I want to suggest the first time we’re doing this by ooh I’ve seen other youtubers do this if you guys want to Play along with us we’re using the seed pigs can fly what all lowercase all one word yeah yeah anyone else can use the same seed and look at the same world as you okay oh man yeah I hate auto jump I will say that if you are playing this pack I think it’s Really important to pick a seed that starts in a friendly biome because this pack more than any other pack that I’ve played has some difficulty I won’t say like extreme difficulty but like you definitely want to be in a friendly spot to start off with oh what’s with this Starting house I have so jazz or Rick or priced since I’ve already done it before we each start off with a blueprint I’d say only one of us should do it because otherwise we’ll have oh my gosh there’s different styles I want this ranch style are you kidding Me worried and then Rick if you go into look at that you know so what’s cool about the house too is if we go in it starts us off with some stuff there’s a bed already so if we each one like set our spawn point we can there’s some Chests that have some starting stuff in it and there’s a mine shaft that goes all the way down to bedrock oh that’s nice it is it’s kind of nice now there’s only just hear from one person here do we not all want to put down our houses I guess we could all pick a house if we want to set up a little suburb I’ll set up a town all right I guess I go this way sure oh and now that I think about it to you let me open my quest book and we should All join the same team oh yeah I’m gonna start I’m gonna start a team y’all and then you guys should be able to join my team houses I’m going Hobbit style oh so now if you all open up your quest book you should see requesting invites oh let’s see here My team all right I think I just murdered some horses I’m sorry they were in the way of the construction I can hear them dying what I put down the house look alright Tom Nook said put down the location where your house is gonna go and I said here I didn’t expect Him to just murder horses to make it happen put it down without previewing first you should know this I think is cute my house check it out I went with the snow house because I saw that a variety Brady it stands out house likes no house that’s right I’ll be a ranch House next to rig here Ranchi boys those Ranchos over there alright so now with bran tools I got a sword I got my home and everything what’s with my doggie charm and my doggy whistle what’s that about so that we have some dog pit pets that we can pick From but I said before that too there’s oh so hello dog Ric will never wait for you to explain things actually we’ll just do just you know that there’s a skill book you also right-click on your skill book yeah okay oh there’s a like a class RPG system Wow I won’t say it’s like super in-depth but it does you know add some benefits that you can like skill up the amount of damage that you do you or and no matter which one of these you pick you we’ll start off with some gear in that class you’ll start off with some seeds And some good farming stuff want to be a warrior you’ll start off with a little bit of gear it’s not amazing gear but a bit of gear right what are you all thinking like I’m probably just I’m probably just a big warrior my horse says spelunker because I like digging holes But then again assassin still torture like Skyrim intended yeah I think I might have to go assassin yes I think all right I might go oh it’s tough like artisan or maybe spelunker or miner I mean the Hermit also sounds interesting better better scavenging mmm find stuff well killing stuff maybe yeah I just keep tapping on my dog and it keeps sitting and standing up selected your quest or your skill if you open up your cool if you open up your your quest book there’s some general gear that you can you can get now my quest book class It’s a different book I need to go inside it’s dark out yeah I’ll get my pup out in a second Oh oMG y’all there’s a lot going on here let me get in bed all right so you can only sleep at night is this not nighttime I guess we just turned it Today okay great wow that happened really fast number two whoa that’s a big quest books please read the manual guy is locate in the upper left corner of inventory screen crafting stone pickaxe collect rewards and so I should explain this this modpack a little bit while you guys Are all looking at your quest book here this mod pack has some I’d say it’s very very much focused on being an exploration and adventure type mod pack there is a ton of different dimensions in it you’ve got things like toilet forest aether tropic craft item – which I I know has like a lot of bosses and it or something the between lands embers and then beyond that within our own overworld there’s a lot of things that modify the overworld so there’s the Ice and Fire mod pack that a lot of people from RL craft might be familiar with Because there’s there’s dragons y’all there’s dragons dragons therapy dragons yikes Barbie dragons Oh guys I went farmers and it’s no one else went farmer so I guess I’ll be taking care of it some more food I started to like some beef skewers I’m certain I cook those up Right now I got some of those in oh yeah bows and arrows I also got it a lot of different seeds now can I change classes or do I am I stuck with being a farmer the entire time so I don’t think that you are stuck with it it’s just that Let’s see so I picked combat and because I picked combat I already have some points sort of into those levels those are their levels so let’s see if I go to the skill book oh I see ad level aha yep so the quest book is well y’all you can Sort of put that away in a chess because the quest book can be acted just activated from your nei from your GUI fantastic but the skill book I believe the quest book is sort of in the upper left hand but skill book I need to hold on to you Said there’s also guide book yeah or at least don’t I guess we can craft it if you do lose it but you know there’s an FIR neom so we could do the the mystical agriculture and then we can get whatever I think there’s actually a whole quest Line to miss yes there is there’s a huge quest line to mystical I feel like now that I’ve sort of dipped my toes into it in the last in sky factory I feel like I should really go fine on that one because yep with the mystical agriculture you could Really make anything like you literally could make everything in anything using seeds it just takes a while like if we want it to have like gasps seeds we could like farm tears and stuff like that so we don’t have to go in the nether and have to like fight them right Yep yeah so here’s the thing that I’m noticing I’m out here I’m just picking off pigs with my bow and arrow I only have what arrow but it seems like I only need one arrow not sure I don’t yeah like I don’t think you need stacks of Arrows I think as long as you have an arrow in your equipment your bow is just like good to go it’s good to go it’s an infinity bow so I wonder if that just means I don’t need to reload it the other thing I’ll mention as so many People in our sky factories series told us to do hold tilt as you are chopping down a tree and it will chop down the whole thing same width as your mining any veins of materials hold till total occupying the entire and now I want to point out that I do believe that we Tried it in the other one it didn’t work in the other one right I just want didn’t because we have prestige mode sky factories wanna make sure that people understand that just really want to make sure people understand that do you understand we could all right here’s wonderful so this this I feel Like the beginning of this modpack is gonna feel a little bit similar to at least to me because this is what I’m gonna focus on I’m gonna focus on storage a bit so that we have a nice storage system and this does have the simple storage networking mod but the Way that we implement it will be different because we won’t be using filing cabinets we’re gonna be using a very cool different storage mod for it okay so that’s that’s what I’m gonna focus on I I will also suggest two of y’all that if you decide to run off and In explore the world make yourself a waypoint to our home area here because I’ve gotten lost extremely easily in this mod pack Waypoint though got it so J Waypoint new home alright so how you guys feeling being back in the hit J okay and then the bottom just hit close Window cuz it’s like here’s all the things you could do right and then once you get past that point you’ll see a map hitting you at the bottom you got it alright cool so how you guys feel being back on the overworld not stuck in the Sky you know it’s it’s weird it’s weird I like the the open the openness of the sky you know as someone who’s somewhat claustrophobic I appreciate like endless space same time I like my toesies being on the ground so yeah there’s just a house up here two above where we built It’s got a furnace and a chest with a bunch of rotten flesh and bunch of cobwebs that is a necromancer okay my mind didn’t go there first I just thought maybe it’d been abandoned but you know what you raise a good point and I’m gonna leave now Alright so I’ve made it all the way down to my bedrock level what is this chest down here that has some all of the materials that got mined out as it made your own you should check that diamonds I got some quartz got a lot of stone oh snap Put some stuff away cuz I got a lot of crap on my own and I just been as I’ve been going down my ladder I’ve been seeing veins of stuff so I’ve just been mining it out and yeah and you know re filling it tilt if you hold tilt to Other things that you guys might want to know about for this modpack is going up and down ladders if you just look directly up as you’re on a ladder and lick o of W like o of wads o speed to the top okay and then the other thing That you guys will want to know about is the furnace that starts in your house is is crap it’s just a vanilla if you break it and then make yourself another furnace just using the regular recipe it will make a modded furnace called a fast furnace way better gotcha Thank you for that okay I got my beef skewers all cooked up I’m gonna make this a new modded furnace so I was gonna ask about Zee dog so we all have a dog cool but yes what is the deal with this dog exactly companionship I franchise I Have not looked into that mod too much Rick I believe you can have the dog do you some commands for you like have an attack maybe or stuff like that whistle it just makes them sit or stand I don’t know that’s my thing I’ve never really Been into the dog system in this game and maybe this mod adds some more useful features but I haven’t really tried the dog really feel like I lost my whistle and I don’t know okay my whistles gone so this dogs not gonna get trained okay So now I know that this mod is like it’s like a weird mod right it’s got some weird stuff to it do we just crap like normal or like what do I need to know about like making stuff I guess so for the most part I’ve not found many Recipes that I can think of off the top my head that are like not normal so it’s not like a sky factory something where things are going to be totally different recipe wise okay I put the main things that are important for you guys to know is as we sort of Tech up as we kill more monsters and as we walk around a further distance the difficulty level of this modpack increase right sort of like in what was the mod pack that we played the invasion sort of like the invasion mod pack things get progressively harder not Quite to that extreme I feel like but just like in general even right now we’re at difficulty level zero as you guys walk around the world you’re gonna see like mobs that have names to them sort of like in Diablo sort of varied names like the difficult extreme Skeleton or something like that you know they’ll have a modifying a classification a modifier name – exactly and as the difficulty goes up it keeps on getting more more modified and I’m just I’m scrolling through like I’m searching for like armor or swords stuff like that and there’s a lot so I’m Guessing a lot of these we get from fighting stuff not so much from us crafters there’s a ton of weapons that I’ve gotten just from the named mobs yeah alright I’m sorry I got I got ideas I’m gonna head down and I’m gonna start like kind of strip mining a little bit And see if I made me come across Oh a couple a couple other really good things to know if you’re gonna shrimp my impressive obsidian does not spawn normally no so we can’t even make an obsidian machine it doesn’t work with lava so so there’s you’re gonna come Across this obsidian or and it it costs like three of those serving or I think to make an obsidian it’s really really good because with that up sadena you can make a is it called a haddock or a mattock o matic that i think that pickaxe that can do three by three god Just so useful in this mod for sure alright kind of straight towards Rick’s place and then I think we could make like a nice like interconnected Network honestly I want to make like a nice basement between us all because I want us to have a nice shared storage doing Straight towards Rick’s please there’s a red exclamation blinking on my guides book in my that’s uh it says new version available should I have an updated version nope that’s just one of the most annoying features that mod makers decide to put on their mods is to be like yo update my Mod but I got it in a mod pack bro yo bro that’s that’s so mod makers out there don’t don’t do that you know we get it but also I think about the user experience just because it doesn’t mean anyone cares yeah okay so I’m looking at The quest too and I see that there okay there’s a shop so we’re getting rewarded with like money every time we complete the quest which we can spend at the shop right that’s correct and so if you look at that shop at the top of the quest Book you can see all the different things you can buy and then I guess I’m just gonna start working my way through the exploration quest then alright so there’s a bunch of stuff that we got for free just by picking up things I guess and now I can make a crafting pad here We go yeah so the crafting pad is sort of like a lame version of the simple storage remote it allows you to have a full crafting tables or on your on your person and then eventually we are going to get that simple storage system and a simple storage remote a quick question Is there a way to hide my waypoints from myself like just just like they like visibly yeah in jei I think that there is a setting for that I remember where waypoints enable a point manager create death noises play waypoint labels on map overlay maybe turn that one off let me Know waypoint beacons there we go I said I want an able wit I’m a disabled Waypoint beacons yeah and just turn them on like as needed right well cuz there’s Waypoint beacons and then there’s show waypoints on your map so I want them on my map but it Don’t want them on my bacon so that’s what I’m gonna try gotcha there we go yeah so now it doesn’t appear in front of me but if I look on my map I can see the little purple thing that I made cool all right anyway Rick you’re somewhere around here I’m sky just completed by a crafting pad a quest which now I have a hundred I guess dollars and I bought a lot of a bucket which completed another quest oh how do we how do we buy stuff were you buying that stuff so in your quest book At the very top there’s a little shop yeah oh wow this quest bigger than I thought yeah and you can get a just building a chest is gonna give me a reward so I’m gonna go ahead and build one of those money’s there we go yeah I’m just gonna start working through the Quests and then I’m gonna make my way out into the wider world and oh do we share stuff now we share the now that we’re all on the same team we are sharing the when one person completes a reward everyone does Oh guys alright so there is an underground tunnel network Or dungeon or something there’s definitely moss yes and it’s right below Rick’s home just so you know yes there is you’ll notice I think Rick actually had to hop over it when he built his home there’s this massive sort of yes canyon giant Canyon for sure I didn’t Look down for a while and then I did that was like wow good thing I did not fall because it is pretty deep a killer guy but it’s usually a good thing to be next to because there’s lots of lots of minerals so I’m just yeah maybe bridges crystals and things I killed a shade on the skeletons to get Rick yeah I got shot back off dirts with you that kind of sucks water tanks require obsidian you can buy I think I think there’s a lot of things that require obsidian which is why they’ve Sort of made it not as easy to get so okay we’re a shop obsidian oh it’s a Hondo okay I’m buying one because I would like to make it water tank so that I can make a proper a little firm pool I found a thing down here called a Smith’s Crate and I busted it and it had a nice iron axe in it yeah some iron doors that’s cool you’ll find like some some writers crates basically that have like some paper and books and stuff in it you’ll find other types of crates like I think there’s farmers crates as well oh crap And usually they only spawn in the in like the naturally formed kids God what sucked what’s up dress I use that I use autumn minor to like break some blocks and it it did like it did like make like a 64 stack of stone and cut it all through it But uh it also broke my pick and one yeah wanna hire I actually I have no idea yet if there’s a way to repair tools in this modpack I hope that there is but I’m not aware yeah it is cool though you can open up a lot of stuff With one stone pick yeah no I and I mean it’s stuff it gonna be quicker this way it’s just yeah yeah got it carry a lot of them there’s some you’re gonna be going through it yep alright oh I have tomato seeds I can give you those jasny if you’re the farm Person oh and by the way so I’m a Smith so I guess if I Smith things it’s more efficient my coal is like less or an artisan rather Nicole works better yeah you’ll notice that um actually in any tool that any of us have crafted ourselves you should actually have some Stats to them like my pickaxe has a plus 20% attack speed and plus 0.5 reach distance that’s cool so people who specialize different ways we can like help each other out I have five more in my quest book my goodness y’all were just doing stuff ash what was the button to go Faster if you just look up and stop holding wets whoa knee okay it’s like a jet pack it really is zoom yeah there are pineapples out here pineapples pineapples apples oh okay but apparently you can’t eat the pineapples that seems backwards maybe you got a car I I bet You can use it in a recipe because it’s not the pineapple part of like Pam’s harvest craft yeah maybe you have to cut it up it’s part of the tropic raft I don’t know what that is hmm you can buy weapons in the in the equipment part of this yes and there’s Weird ones in there do you kylo Ren’s lightsaber I saw soul blade in there like cool there’s some crazy ones thank goodness yeah a lot of these I you know I think are gonna be references to stuff that I don’t know yeah okay like I seek alot bulk I recognize that That is from ff10 that straight up it’s an ff10 it’s the ultimate weapon forty dissing ff10 my goodness yeah there’s Solich 500 you know I’m gonna be rockin soulish later I don’t care if it’s inhabited by a demon who wants to like corrupt me it’s correct where would I Find some sand going out into the world look what up no no number string so I can make a fishing rod yeah and I want to like I said I still want to get us all hooked up together but it was hard finding y’all because of that tunnel That’s in between all of us all right so the infiniminer did not go all the way up the tree come on so our nerd did your axe break before some know it just like I think that some of the wood was not connected because it’s one of those real big trees oh so Our leather armor that we get comes with Auto gem not experiencing that I am do you is it your boots do your boots have yeah it says point five step height and I want to live my boots just say plus what armor yeah mine don’t say that Either I wonder if maybe here is speciall maybe yeah it’s guys my hobbit home comes with a little farm I didn’t even notice it has a little plot set aside with like a little water source and tilled ground yeah we all get an infinite water source in our house it’s So cute I’m so glad I picked about home omit the only thing I don’t like about how to hub at home is that it’s a fluorine is on a half-block level mm-hmm makes it difficult which is like when I I played this mappack before I chose the Hobbit home I was like this is so cute and then I was like I flattened the entire entirety of the interior and like destroyed the look of it oh that’s a white couch out here that’s kind of cute other crops yes do we need to do crop Sticks I don’t know at the farm in this pack actually because I can’t unless a maybe because yeah I can’t just plant the tomato some wonder it needs like yeah yeah Hippogriff Hippogriff what yeah what you watch out out there Rick especially if you come across a dragon it’s it’s friendly it’s getting Nighttime – sefa why peoples you only need one person to sleep one yeah yep maybe if we’re all in the same team I’m sleeping oh god oh god I pissed off that Hippogriff Oh some good things Elston oh y’all is there’s this modern here called subtree or subterranean switcheroo That’s the mod that causes obsidian to be way different but it’s oh so it generates all these like combine doors so you’ll find like hard carbon or that looks like iron and yes yes I see nice and depending on how you craft it you could get either iron or coal out of it Ok cool y’all I think a meteor landed behind my house there’s obsidian and soul sand and lava Platina crater oh yeah I think that was just there beforehand I said I’m sure I’m sure it was but we just we’re just gonna ignore
