Hey YouTube this is Raj and today I’m going to be talking about the sharpness enchantment in Minecraft and what it exactly does so why don’t we get started so you might be asking yourself what exactly is the sharpness enchantment and minecraft basically an enchantment for Swords and axes so how this works is it basically does damage to any mob level 1 it does 1 damage now each level that the enchantment increases it increases the damage by 0.5 so the maximum level of the enchantment is level 5 and the amount of damage it will do is 3 which Is one and a half hearts it’s also incompatible with smite and pain of anthropods because this basically applies to any mob the contrast with the things that is incompatible with smite deals with undead mobs and bane of arthropods deals with spiders also the only way that you can get sharpness on Tools like wooden stone iron and diamond is through books so basically I have to use an anvil to apply sharpness 5 to those tools and basically the only way you can get it is through gold weapons and books that’s that’s just sharpness 5 so sharpen is foreign and below you can Get them when you enchant say a sword or an axe so I hope that was helpful so let’s quickly go through how to craft a sword so a sword two diamonds in one stick pretty straightforward and if you want to enchant that with sharpness so there’s a book and we’re in an anvil So sword book and it costs five to enchant it now sets this baby out so behind this door is a zombie so let me guess it’ll probably take three hits before it dies let’s see so one and you saw an effect there two saw another effect three so I was right it took About three attacks so a sword is about seven damage this is a diamond sword I’m talking about so with the increased amount it’s uh it’ll be ten so that is the sharpness enchantment in mind I hope that was helpful basically you can use put it on your sword and it’ll Do damage to any kind of mob that you attack basically that the choices you have are either sharpness smite or bane of anthropods so basically the bane of anthropods and this might both do more damage and I’ve also done videos on this so you can check out those videos if You’re curious but they do more damage but vein of anthropods only applies to spiders and smite only does damage to undead mobs smite I mean there are a lot of undead mobs in Minecraft so it’s definitely worth considering putting that enchantment on your sword but I would say sharpness is a good second Option if you’re considering what enchantments put on your sword so as I said I’ve done a lot of videos on a chant mint so basically I’m going through and trying to find what the best and the worst enchantments are and just doing videos on all of them so check Those out if you’re interested and if you like my videos please give me a like if you want me to keep producing content give me a subscribe and you can always leave a comment I love to read those and love to hear some input from people I Mean I’m still learning here so it would be very helpful and I’d appreciate it a lot and stay classy YouTube this is wrong Video Information
