Please read through the description before building.
Another blueprint, this time of the imp.
Each image is a layer of the finished project, starting on the lowest level and working up.

I don’t guarantee that the mediafire link will survive, or even work, I don’t use the site.
I discovered a map viewing program called Cartograph since the last blueprint and I have to say that it helped. It can produce a series of a map in 1 block slices, so the design here is the output of that program enlarged and with a grid added. This should, in theory, remove mistakes like those made before.
The imp is mostly made up of dirt, which is the brown.
The blue is wool and the red is Netherstone. I changed both since they didn’t show up well, to the point that I missed them while working on this.
The black are just markers I made for myself to keep everything in line. I used columns of sand for these. That may not be a reasonable option for anyone building, sadly, as I had the imp to jump onto when I was 50 storeys up.
The yellow are torches left over from building and navigating through the statue.
Anything else is just an artifact left over from the process.
Two important notes about the build:
1) if you wish to use dirt to build this, a platform of some kind is essential. Grass can, and will, grow on the imp without a buffer of some kind to keep it away; and once it starts, it’s nearly impossible to stop the spread.
2) In the mouth, set fire to the netherstone, let it spread and die out, then put down the wool teeth (if you use wool). I made that mistake, lost the wool, and had to swan dive into the water conveniently below to keep from burning to death.
Good luck and happy building.
