Hello there right here and today guys we will be talking about the new rarest mob in the game of Minecraft not only will this mob be the new rarest one in the game but it also has the potential to being the rarest of all time no matter What other mob to add into the game will be looking into how this mob spawns into the game and how I can stack up so high and I’ll be showing you guys a way we can automatically farm these guys we can attempt to catch the rarest type of all Don’t forget guys go ahead and hit the subscribe button very very close to 100,000 subscribers I just want to thank everybody who took the time to hit the button and as you guys know all the protocol in peace ever we strive to collect every single type of item the Lock and mob in the game and we have went after some crazy rare mobs like a diamond on a Halloween gelatin horse mane and even some mobs that are now considered discontinued in the game Minecraft like a wither skeleton riding a skeleton horse you guys are curious About all the crazy rare mobs that are actually in the game but most people don’t know about put together a really cool play list that goes into detail how all these mods were possible in survival I also have another playlist which is dedicated to rare blocks and items you Can find those link below because we have such ambitious goals on protec we need to design fast farms in order to actually achieve these you guys know what the protec server is you are missing out on a lot we do crazy stuff like fly a fly machine for 11 months to Get to the real border collect 21,000 levels of XPS and other insane stuff all done in survival this new mob is called the Strider and you can see what it looks like it looks like a two-legged kind of weird little creature and when it’s out of lava it gets cold and turns Kind of purplish when it’s in lava it turns kind of reddish is that is the place that loves to be this mob is introduced in the nether update and you can find them naturally spawned here in the lava and just like cows in the overworld these guys can be generated When new chunks are generated or they can spawn in if there is a lack of mobs for their particular mob camp shredders are passive mobs mean they don’t attack the player and they count to something called the passive mob cap this is a number that the game uses to Keep track of different classes in the game like passive mobs and if the number of mobs in this class goes under a given number then the game will automatically spawn and some more go for this passive mobs there is a total of six that are to be around you loaded in anything Under that the game will attempt you tried to spawn and somewhere these guys now here’s another dimension these are the only passive mobs that are in this biome as well as dimension they don’t have any other mobs to compete with when spawning in one of the fellow protec Members to turkos looked into the Minecraft code to find the exact way that Strider spawn but the game is looking for is a lava source or the Strider to spawn on top of as well as a lava source to be inside of the feet of the Strider and an air-gap to be where The head is going to be placed if we do f3 + B we can see the Striders hitbox this is the actual size of the game keeps track of removing the mob around because the shredder needs a hair to be at the top in order to spawn and I can Only spawn here at the surface of the lava this means there’s only a single layer here where they could try to spawn in and you can see that Strider is just under 2 blocks tall but after it spawns in it will just float a little bit Higher up and start walking on the lava every time the game spawns in one Strider it has a 1 in 10 chance than that there can be another Strider writing on top of the first one this means if you find to stack on top each other there is a 10% chance of getting This in your world buried them stacked on top each other there is only 1% chance or 1 in 100 chance here is one in a thousand chance I stack 1 would be 1 in 10,000 and 1 and a hundred thousand and one in a million you can easily see How extremely rare these guys can get just by stacking a few on top now this one here is a stack of 7 of them which might not seem that much but if we go ahead and mage these guys 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 blocks tall these guys are by far the tallest mob in the game of Minecraft I think I’ve come across a mob that is 11 blocks tall we actually set up a command block that would summon in normal Striders and then kill him shortly afterwards but before the die We’d also record their height and after running this command for five hours responded almost two million of them before we got one that was this tall that’s because you have a chance to get one one in a million times doesn’t mean you are and you can also get very Unlucky and never get one but if you were to try to get one this tall or even one this tall which is completely possible and so by because in the code there is no restrictions on how high they can be stacked the chances just get slimmer and Slimmer so it’s very unlikely for you to actually come across something this tall but it is possible especially if you design a Strider farm that takes advantage of collecting ones that are extremely tall that’s exactly what we did during our snapshot testing streams which every Wednesday and Friday where We went up a testing server and the viewers can hop on as we build up new types of machines for Minecraft make sure go ahead and follow me there on Twitch what is the limitation on how high they can go well obviously if they go a little bit too high your heads Gonna touch this block up here and there just like any other mob if their head gets us I have a block they will take a vacation damage and will eventually die they want to put the farm in area where they can be able to grow quite tall Without dying okay here in a big vaulted area in the nether dimension there’s quite a bit of room up above us and we designed up this farm here which allows us to quickly keep the ones that are really tall and get rid of all the short Ones when the farm works is we have a place where the Striders will spawn in this meets all the requirements for them to spawn we have two sources of lava with some air above it so a Strider could spawn in here you can see if I Just go ahead and span some Striders in it’s very unlikely to get anything higher than a double stack this is what you would typically see obviously all these guys are quite short meaning that they will not be able to touch this tripwire lion that we have place up here This is how we can tell if we have any tall ones in our arm here because the taller one would touch these tripwires this would set off a signal to a redstone over there so what the game will do is it will check to see if There’s any passive mobs in the area and if it’s less than six we’ll go ahead and try to spawn some in naturally what we have over here is a clock this clock will have a pulse going through it every so often we’re going to be pulsing this Segment over here this contains some tea tea is duplicators which will duplicate some tea tea and drop it down where the Striders have spawned in and since the game only attempts of spawned in passive mobs every 20 seconds all the do is will try to kill off all the Striders within 20 seconds then we’ll give it time to spawn in some more and we’ll go ahead blow them up so that we have more room to spawn in even more Striders and as the game spawns in more they just keep being killed off at a particular time so What we have here is a system that kind of sends a pulse in and we will drop one set of TNT downwards to kill these guys and then a lot of times the TT won’t kill them all so we’ll go ahead and drop a second set to kill the rest of them And as long as we don’t got any tall ones the system will just keep this up now the way it works when there is a tall one is they will be standing in the wire this will retract that piston over there and then every time the clock Attempts to put a signal over here to duplicate TNT it just kind of cuts it off and this will save the strider that is standing here in the tripwire because we know that the striker is quite tall and we want to save it so here’s one of The really tall ones and you can see how it could easily clip right through all these blocks and including the trip wire and it powered this turned off all this and the clock is still going just nothing is being blown up now because it’s so extremely rare to get tall ones Even ones that are just a stack of seven we really didn’t use any type of automated system to pull these guys out because it’d be just as easy to pull them out manually now when you do try to remove these guys you need to be kind of Careful not to move them into any block that could suffocate them so like these slime blocks here could suffocate them soak in this piston that’s why the majority of rest of us is made out of either like slabs or glass what you do is you would probably come in here and Just grab them with a lead pull them off to the end you kind of pay attention they’re not pulling them through any solid blocks I bring it over to one side wherever you want to store them maybe if you’re really careful you can get them All bit to your another hub to kind of show them off there that’d be really amazing as long as you kind of control the bottom one all the rest of them will follow so you can put them like in a minecart or putting with a lead or just Box them in but transporting guys is very difficult as the guy on the bottom can pretty much go anywhere he thinks he can even if it means going ahead and suffocating all these guys inside of blocks they need to be very careful when you’re trying to transport them Especially if they’re extremely tall now the way we designed this is we put the farm down at the very bottom of the world because we plan on making a quite large and this up here is just a small example of what the entire farm would be as you Ever try and go after these rare variations you want to make something that is very fast because you need to kill millions and millions of them just to get some decently tall ones for that reason we would build this farm as far as you can see all the way around the Tire another dimension this would be a humongous undertaking as you guys know on project has some pizza we do extreme stuff like this all the time and we have collected some of the most rare mobs in our survival world in order to run this farm efficiently you want to make sure That mobs can’t spawn anywhere else other than directly inside of your farm so you could choose ideal location where there is no lava like this ideally you would clear our area as far as you can see and put in as many as a segment to fill up the entire area because the game Attempts to spawn mobs throughout the wide level of the world by having the farm down low it’ll increase the chance that the game will place in spawns in this drive themselves only spawn pretty much at y level 31 or below but by having tons of lob up here actually Isn’t gonna help because they won’t spawn up there and they do need to have air on top so it makes sense to just bring the whole section down though this way you get large amounts of them spawning in at once even though the game normally only spawns up to like six of Them because you have such a large area the game will will spawn more than what it actually needs because there’s so much area for it to place and the mobs if you want to go extremely low you can even come in here and break bedrock to Get it down to the lowest part of the world this was probably what we’ll do on project server just because we are so insane at trying to go after every single type of mob block and item of the game so having a large area is very Helpful as well as having it down low but only helps if there is no blocks above where the lowest spot in space is that there’s any blocks above it the game will calculate these and also take them in account for places that possibly could have mob spawn on them even if They fail at it this is why we try to keep the profile of this farm quite low what we decided to do is choose a height and where we think strikers will probably able to stack up to so we put our top wires here these can be moved Well essentially we’re just saying well it’s very likely for the Strider to be maybe a hundred blocks tall and maybe we can get one that’s like ten blocks tall so there’s two three four five six seven eight nine ten if there’s one that’s ten blocks tall he will touch in this wire here This will turn off the system well there’s anything that shorter will just end up accidentally killing it in the long run will probably eventually get one this height you have to kind of Judge how long you’re willing to wait first how high you want this shredder to Be we don’t have a too low otherwise you’re just gonna get tons and tons of shredders that are just average height you can also use this height here to get ones they’re extremely tall because they will all touch the tripwire we also tried to kind of space out the TNT as Much as possible because if one would spawn here I started with suffocate and die or if it spawned here or die or spawn here it would die if it’s taller than this walk here you also have to kind take that into account and the majority redstone is placed on like Glass except for this block here which we use to continue the signal and what you do is just build this segment as big as you could and then you just have to duplicate it as often as you need to fill up the entire area but besides this We are also limited by the ceiling if you really want to get them extremely tall or if you just want to increase the spotting rates you do need to remove these blocks above it essentially this needs to be air from down there all the Way up to the very very top of the world to get the most efficiency you also want to break all the bedrock including the bedrock ceiling up here across the entire farm removing the bedrock also means that it’s possible to get taller strainers because it’s actually possible For a spider to spawn way up here and by removing bedrock you can essentially get it infinitely tallest writer because there’s nothing up there that will kill him but probably one the best place to store these guys is on top of the nether sling so don’t have to worry about them Accidentally running into something and dying now these guys do normally spawn in they can’t have a chance of producing babies like this too when the dew stack there will be babies on top of adults or babies on top of babies they are passive mobs and they will grow up so that They’re nice and big like this this is why you see kind of the gap in between these guys because when they grow up they’re gonna fill that gap in you can also make them grow faster just by feeding them just like you would any Other pass a mob so there you go you can see this guy’s big guy little guy and a big guy got some freedom and they will produce babies as well but there’s really no way to keep them in their small form and you can see that we can get Writers that have zombified pig lines writing on top of them now these are actually even more rare than finding one that’s double stacked there’s only a 1 in 30 chance that I Strider will attempt to place any zombified piglet on top of it but if the Game does but one of these guys on top it means that there will be no more strider stacked on top of that this kind of completely ends the stack meaning that there is even a smaller chance of shors getting extremely tall because for every one time it tries to stack them Taller there’s a 1 in 30 chance they will try to end the stack by putting one these guys on you can also notice that these guys do have saddles on the Striders when they spawn in and if you kill them you do get the saddle you just Kill a normal Strider you just get string out of it as well as XPS you could also write them by putting a saddle on them and then using the word fungus on a stick to control them or it comes to life the double stack ones are Taller you can put saddles on like the lower ones and pretty much any level you can’t actually ride the lowest one and you can ride the top one but you can’t actually control it is one hour Neath you is actually controlling the one below it would be really cool if they Made it so that you can stand on the very tallest one and control the entire stack now if there’s any mobs our passengers and other mobs exactly what we got going on here they’re unable to get teleported by portals game portals could work but another portals and end Portals will not work so you see they don’t actually get teleported when they go through room only if they’re a single stack so just one guy well they could be able to get taken over that means you do have to store these guys into another dimension Hey guys are ever bored and want to do something fun just grabbing a strider egg and spam clicking the ground to see what type of rare variations you’ll get it’s actually quite satisfying if you guys find any really tall ones you guys who always send me pictures on my Discord or Twitter you can see one that is triple stacked and it has a zombified penguin writing a baby guy who eventually grew up but all the guys that are writing will have saddles on here you can see there is a baby guy which is Only a 5% chance of a Pigman out of a total of every pigment spawn here’s a quite rare one it’s a quadruple stack so I’ve got the mother of babies and then the very top we got a zombified piglet there’s actually two of these we see each other like Right there that is a extremely rare to find on right beside each other here’s a four stack a mother baby baby and hey baby pigment up there so cute I spawned in a few million of them and eventually got one that had a chicken jockey spawn I see a chicken there to give it some glowing effect but what happened is the chicken just automatically fell here to look around and cheer crow thinks that what happened is the game summoned a chicken jockey meaning a little guy Ryan top of a chicken I try to place this on Top of a Strider but nowhere to do that ahead to make the little guy dismount the chicken and then mount the straighter the don’t look like it’s possible to actually get a chicken writing a Strider than having a little guy writing the chicken the ones that do Companies are another 5% more rare than just a baby guy and if they’re left-handed meaning that they’re so holding their sword in your left hand it’s another 5% more rare I think that sword being enchanted is also between 3 to 25% more rare and one day out of the Year the day of Halloween undead mobs like these guys can have a chance of having a carved pumpkin on their head which is another 22.5% chance or they could have a jack-o’-lantern head put onto them which is only a 2.5 percent chance you can see how this can make Them so extremely rare to get in survival this is why it’s such a necessary to have a very fast farm well the rarest variation would look something like this here we got a baby zombified piggelin he’s left-handed he gets enchanted sword also has a jack-o’-lantern helmet which is only Spawned on these monster and Halloween now the zombified piglets don’t wear any armor unless they’re converted from a piglet you won’t find one that’s like gold armor on it they can still have the pickup item tag I mean that if you give them something that is better than what They currently have they can put it on so they could put on armor predict also accidentally switch out their sword or switch out their helmet and you can have any number of static Striders and over here I got command that makes a really tall one that has a baby on top that is The rarest variation of baby you have to be careful because these guys will despawn especially if you’re like a f–king down there and they’re way up here the Striders won’t because they’re passive but the baby’s hostile so you build up to name take him order not to lose him It’s very possible they might have got one these guys and your world but baby just be spawned on its own the guys try to respond in every here in another dimension we can actually start building up a perimeter you later put in this future farm but over the past month I’ve been doing Videos about the new nether update have noticed a pretty significant bug which is if you happen to update your old world through the new another update the old biome areas will actually change into the new biomes one example maybe this might be your another hub and let’s Say this is just a normal another waste you update to one to sixteen and all of a sudden you pull pr3 it looks all the same but it says crimson force instead of another waste and you also have these different types of pericle visuals like If I go over here to the bowls and Val you can see how it turns a blue so you might have your another hub turned blue like this even though he just updated an old world to the new snapshot the problem with this is that you know it Also changes the type of mobs that can spawn here let’s say you had a Pigman farm right here and this dimension well pigment no longer spawn in this dimension it’s only skeletons and gas so your Pigman farm will no longer work so we’re like if you guys take the time to Upload the bug report which I’ll link down below hopefully this will get fixed the bug might have come into existence just because it really was no other biomes in another dimension I’m in the past from the dead any kind of biome changes they didn’t switch over the old biomes especially in circumstances where It would affect stuff like mob spawning we are getting very close to the pre releases of window 16 that’s a pair of time where it’s really important to report any bugs a noise and I’ll probably be also putting together a list if you have anything you guys want me to Mention be sure to tell me down in the comments but I’m definitely excited to try to farm up some of these guys on the protec server never since a day that they introduced them we’ve been really having a lot of fun make it up ways to farm them up and looking into different Variations of them I’d love to hear what you guys think about such a crazy mob it literally has no limit on how high you can stack it’s almost like the devs want to see how far protic will actually go and design this mob to challenge us and I say challenge accepted and with protec updates we’ll be definitely going after one these really big ones I’d hope you guys enjoyed this video make
