I am a graphic designer who has been playing Minecraft a ton lately Minecraft mobs are some of the most fascinating creatures in the entire gaming space and that is why today I’m going to challenge my photo manipulation skills and try to make Minecraft Mobs realistic starting out with the Enderman these guys are so tall and they behave a lot like Slender Man if you guys have ever read that creepy pasta I imagine these guys to be pretty furry so I’m going to go ahead and do some searching and see what I can find and lucky for us the Enderman is literally just a bunch of blocks and sticks I found this quick and easy easy little fur image and I think this is going to work perfect especially for the upper part of our Ender so we need to add a little bit of color to this fur because an Enderman is primarily kind of Blackish a little bit of purple for now I think that we want to create a little bit of a cave atmosphere so I’m going to go ahead and make the background dark just so we can get the lighting pretty on point now I’m going to go ahead and start off here on the eyes just because that’s going to make the glow look really solid at the end of the day so I think I’m going to start right now with just some basic lighting around the eyes reflecting on on to the fur now we can go ahead and work on the actual surface glow of the eyes so now what I’m going to do is I’m going to zoom into the eyes and I’m going to grab one of my favorite fur brushes and I’m just going to kind of go around these edges to give the impression that the eyes are actually being covered by the fur that is coming through the PNG now that we’ve got our eyes super glowy I think I’m going to go ahead and make the fur on the head Super 3D like so it looks like the fur is sticking out going around the edges of the square head is going to make the fur look very 3D and very nice and realistic and last but not least I think I’m going to go ahead and take this bottom neck part and I’m going to add some shading to it perfect this is looking absolutely badass our head looks perfect I think I’m going to go ahead and do the rest of the body I’m going to see you guys in a second when I go ahead and wrap that up and just like that I went ahead and I added fur to pretty much every single part of the Enderman and now he is pretty furry if you ask me all right let’s go ahead and add our cave background so we could really get this lighting solidified now immediately we have to distinguish our light source which in the back here is going to be the lava for sure the beautiful thing is this lava right behind the Enderman is going to make him pop out so much it is going to look amazing and that does not look too bad at all all of these glows is bound to create a shadow so let’s go ahead and paint one on the ground then we’re going to add some final glows here and just like that ladies and Gentlemen even though it looks a little bit cursed I’m really impressed with how this one came out I definitely think that fur fits the Enderman Vibe really good which is pretty surprising so we’re just going to go ahead and move on to the next one if you guys enjoy challenges like this make sure to join my Discord server in the description we do loads of events over there like movie Nights challenges portfolio reviews you name it and we do it I want you guys to go ahead and click the join link and I will see you guys in there next up on the list we’re going to go ahead and tackle the creeper now this one’s going to be a little bit tricky because I don’t exactly know what type of material a creeper would be made out of I would imagine something a little goopy but we’re just going to try some things out I think one thing I’m learning while doing these mobs is that it is actually really really difficult to make something realistic in in Photoshop with basically no supplies I mean we’re basically pulling this stuff out of thin air which is pretty impressive if you ask me kind of have an idea of how I want the face to look so I think I’m going to go ahead and mask that out right now my idea is to actually get rid of its nose keep it just like that and create a liquefy effect almost like the face is melting off not only will this look really cool but I think it’ll add to the aesthetic that we’re trying to go for at the end of the day something that will definitely scar you for life and I’m imagining when looking at a creepy ass creeper I’m imagining these blood red eyes just looking into your soul I think I found something that’s pretty promising soil now I know what you’re probably thinking how on Earth is this going to look good in any way and I promise you I kind of have a plan because remember we are going for a very droopy look so there’s a big possibility that we can actually manipulate this to look pretty fire I’m going to go ahead and retexture this creeper and make sure that it actually looks the best it can in 3 2 1 while I was actually filling out the creeper and making sure that it looked very droopy and all of that stuff I realized that I have the perfect way to make him look a little bit more three-dimensional and that is by adding a hella droopy face to this guy if that doesn’t give you nightmares I don’t know what what will funny enough I think that this is the most cursed one we’ve done thus far but we can’t back down now we have to double down and see what happens the thing about Creepers is they’re not supposed to look like they have two arms anyway so it’s kind of okay that he looks like a pickle I think a really cool way to spice this up is to add this creeper in a very dark and Eerie scene so I’m going to go ahead and do that make the background super dark and then go ahead and add a light wherever light will be and in this case we’re going to definitely put it on the eyes that is for sure now I think another great thing to do here is to add an under Spotlight on him I want you guys to do me a favor and drop below what you would do if you saw this in the middle of your Minecraft world despite not playing any mods or any of that bogus because personally if it’s me I’m running ladies and gentlemen that is going to be it for the creeper I think that the creeper came out really nice it was really difficult to decide whether or not to do a liquefy look or something more advanced but if I’m going to be completely honest I really think that the scenery makes up for it big time here but that’s enough yapping about the creeper let’s go ahead and hit our final mob just out of curiosity what is your guys’s favorite Minecraft mob I’m super curious to hear so let me know Down Below in the comments before we hit this next one and last but not least our final mob probably one of the most difficult we’re going to tackle this video and that is the spider now the thing about spiders is they are definitely hairy but they’re not furry so starting first things first I think we’re going to go ahead and try to tackle the eyes to the best of our ability now when we’re looking at the spider’s eyes we can see a lot of fun colors here and so I have a little bit of an idea on how to make them look really spooky I am just kind of hoping and praying that it doesn’t look too Goofy and it actually looks like a bunch of spider eyes and it looks like we’re in the goofy area why don’t I just go the oldfashioned way and just create a bunch of spider eyes that are absolutely horrifying to look at now in terms of hair on a spider I don’t imagine soft fur like an Endermen would kind of be i instead imagine this extremely harsh fur that honestly just doesn’t look Pleasant to touch we are going to do something very similar to what we did with the Enderman in the sense of kind of blending the eyeballs into the fur that is looking substantially better in terms of the face especially when we get to lighting like we did with the Enderman this is going to look insane some of these fur block are definitely way more gray than they need to be so I think I’m going to go ahead and speed up again and make sure that I can get every single first spot in place before we do some really good lighting so I’m going to go ahead and do that we have officially finished the fur on the spider and I have to say it is looking way better than I originally anticipated one thing I am looking at is the fact that this middle part kind of looks a little too blocky so I think I’m going to go ahead and break it up with even more fur but now that we’ve kind of got this down I think that we can go ahead and add our background and in my opinion I think that he belongs in a m shaft because that is exactly where you find these guys in the game when it comes down to it the Shadows are going to carry this final and obviously our eyes are going to go like crazy so let’s go ahead and get that dealt with if you guys remember when I first started the spider I mentioned that there is a lot of different shades of color in the eyeballs that is where this white brush comes in with this white brush we’re going to be able to pick exactly where his eyeballs are and to be completely honest I think that this format right here is going to be pretty sick this is kind of a rendition of that one spider edit I did a while back I absolutely loved the lighting in that one and I think that this one is going to have similar Vibes just Minecraft and last but not least he thought I was going to forget but I definitely won’t some Shadows not too bad looking for something done in a very very low amount of time I love the way that the smoke kind of rides up the spider and I really really like what we ended up doing with the eyes especially since we were struggling with that a little bit ago I think that all of the mobs we made definitely came out great I think my all-time favorite has to be the Enderman it just feels so fluent and it feels like it belongs so well I plan to do a lot more videos like this so if you guys want to go ahead and do me a solid and check out my other video where I combined random cartoon characters trust me you’re not going to want to miss it it’s truly insane Video Information
