REDSTONE BOOBY TRAP (Hidden Defense System) – Minecraft Redstone Tutorial (Xbox One, PS4,Wii U)

Diamonds I see diamonds gimme gimme gimme gave oh my god holy crap now it’s a trap it’s a trap hey what’s up my fellow teammates welcome back to another redstone tutorial today we’re gonna be taking a look at a hidden boobie trap that allows us to kill our enemies using arrows fire

Charges or potions really awesome guys so let’s go ahead and get started and take a look at our system I have it over here in the superflat world but basically guys you could hide this in a cave it is decorated quite nicely over here and I decided to add in some

Diamonds at the end to simulate like why you would go into the cave instead of it being like a dead-end or whatever so um yeah we’re gonna walk into this thing and basically check out the booby trap basically walk over here guys and bam okay hearing a bunch of potions and

Arrows and sometimes you survive but not this time guys as you can see we are basically now dead so this is a pretty neat system we could use to trap any enemies or just you know add in a different layer of defense into your property and um I’d have to say you can

See the dispensers a bit but that’s my own fault with the design of the cave itself but um yeah it’s pretty awesome and if you guys do not notice we have like a wall that’s gonna pop out of the ground right in front of us so we can’t

Even run past it we can’t sprint because it’s just gonna go ahead and block us from doing that so as basically a system guys let’s go ahead and now take a look at how to build it so this is the layout for my entire design if you want to

Build it exactly like me and you can pause the video to take a look at that but let’s go ahead and get started now everything that you will need is in my hotbar right now and the first thing you want to do is grab yourselves some trip

Hook and basically place it right on the face of these blocks that’s going to be right on the other side of this pink block and then you want to go ahead and grab ourselves a redstone repeater place it on the back of that trip hook block

And then you want to go ahead and place down a bit of redstone dust then two more repeaters and then you want to place down another bit of redstone and then another bit of redstone right over here wrap it around place on a repeater on this side place down some repeaters

On the back of these blocks so about six repeat right over there and placed on a bit of redstone connecting it all up together now what that’s going to do is basically when you walk over our trip book wire it’s going to activate that system and

Send it into all of our dispensers of course we need to add in like all the redstone here and yeah so now we go ahead and grab ourselves our dispensers and place it down on top of these blocks and they will be activated once across

The wire and now what we need to do is basically allow our dispensers to fire off three different times because of course one or two arrows hitting you is not going to do a lot of damage so to do this what we need to do is basically grab ourselves some repeaters place two

Down over here set it to the maximum amount of tick delay set two more over here again so it’s going to be a 3-way system that’s basically going to activate it three different times we placed our repeaters over here and over here and then we place on some redstone

Dust over here and over there so hopefully you guys are following along with me and what this is going to do is going to activate the system instantly once is going to delay itself by like a second or something like that and then it’s going to activate it again and then

While it’s being delayed again it’s going to activate it for a third time now in order to make this even more deadly I went ahead and doubled it to six times and you do this by basically grabbing yourselves some more redstone repeaters placing your redstone repeater

Right over here in the first bit of redstone that’s coming out of the tripwire and then you place three of them down set it to the maximum amount of tick delay so let’s go ahead and do that you grab a bit of redstone connected up to this side and then

You’re going to place down three more repeaters and this should be perfectly timed with the entire system to make this basically activate the dispensers six times alright so there we go I repeated the system on the other side as well the next thing we need to do is

Grab ourselves some string and connect these trip hooks up together that way we can test the system out and basically guys if you go ahead and cross this line right over here you can see that our dispensers are now activated six different times which is going to be

Very deadly all right so now the next thing we need to do is connect this up to our redstone wall which basically prevents anyone from running past it and to do this you want to go ahead and grab ourselves a redstone repeater place it on this bit of redstone right

Over here and the back of our trip hook wire straight ahead then we place down a bit of redstone going all the way to the top until you’re two blocks away from you know the last bit of redstone over here and then you go ahead and place on

Another one and then place down a repeater right over here destroy this block place down a stick piston facing up and we’re going to create a T flip-flop right now just follow along to what I’m doing another repeater over here place down a sticky piston on the

Face of this which is going to be activated by that redstone repeater place down a block on the face of this sticky piston the shortest block placed a torch down into hole and now when the block goes over the torch it’s going to activate this bit of redstone now that

We have that guys you want to go ahead and place down your redstone torch right over here and when this bit of redstone is activated it should go ahead and turn off the torch and then we can connect that up to our entire system down here

Yet again this is a eight by three by three deep hole and I already have the area dug out so let’s go ahead and just some remove these wool blocks and then we can grab ourselves our wall so let’s do that that’s going to be the top

Section of the you know Pistons then we need to go ahead and place down a line of blocks at the bottom right over here place down some sticky pistons facing up on top of those lines of blocks place down our wall on top of the sticky pistons place down redstone repeaters

Going into the blocks like so connect it all up using some redstone and then what we need to do is connect this redstone torch up to this entire system and we do that by basically placing down a bit of redstone right over here and then placing down another redstone torch

Right over there and then basically placing out another bit of redstone over there so now when the system is activated it should go ahead and activate the entire system like so and then turn off really quickly after you know the signal comes around again I loaded up the dispensers let’s go ahead

And test this out we walk over to trip book wire that’s a little wall blocks us and by the time that happens we die so there we go guys you want to go ahead and add in fire charges as well instant damage potions to make it a

Little bit more deadly but that is totally up to you you could add in lava if you wanted and you can also add in love at the front of this to kind of modify the system but yet again you guys could go ahead and do that for yourselves if you guys enjoyed this
