Hey everybody it’s infinite drift and welcome back to the survival let’s play series in the last episode we built this custom tree and the enchanting table in today’s episode we have a lot of stuff we can accomplish i noticed that we’re lacking in some basic resources such as Iron lapis and honestly we definitely need a lot more diamond so today i was kind of thinking that we should start a little bit of a branch mine and afterwards i wanted to create a little bit of storage room so we can start storing things properly and have things A little bit more organized around here because right now my storage is all over the place we’ve got a ton of chests over here we have some by the chicken coop over by the cows so i think it’s time that we clean this place up a bit and Kind of make a dedicated spot for all of our resources all right before we begin i just wanted to show you all my enchanting table i don’t know what happened somebody mentioned and i didn’t even notice that i did not have the level 30 enchantment so i added a couple More bookshelves and stuff like that so thank you everybody in the comments who pointed that out because i think i was only at like 24 or something like that so i added more we’ve got the full 30 now and we’re good to go so thanks again everybody in the comments who mentioned That really helped me out there so i’m gonna actually enchant this pickaxe all right we got him breaking on it just because i have a fortune pickaxe that i wanna use however i only wanna use it when we are obtaining things like diamond and stuff like that just so we Get the most possible so for now we’re just gonna enchant oh i got another fortune one oh no i didn’t mean for that that’s okay though i could use it it’s fine let’s do one more it’s gonna have a level one enchantment but at least we got Efficiency and i’m breaking on it so we’re good to go all right let me put all my armor back on and let’s head towards the spot where i’m gonna build a branch mine and a storage facility so off camera i kind of did the same thing i did last week with the enchanting Table i kind of ran around the map kind of trying to gather ideas on what i could build next where i could build it and i found this little spot over here that i thought would be a cool mining entrance so i was thinking if i kind of Like dig a spot into this wall we could have an area that goes into a branch mine and then also i thought to build the storage facility in the same spot and have like a nice little viewing area of this pond with this little lava thing Over here so to get started on this area all we really need to do is get rid of these trees and honestly just start digging a hole into this so let me just get rid of these trees really quickly just to open up the space a little bit And as always because i can’t live without these things i’m gonna create a little bit of a station for myself i still have not cleaned up the other ones but that’s another discussion for another day once we get my storage facility built i feel like there’s no excuse to have these laying around Anymore so that’ll be the incentive to get rid of them is um yeah use my storage facility instead but for now they’re allowed they’re still allowed all right setup complete we’re good to go now i think we just basically need to start digging so the tricky thing about digging out like Caves and stuff like that is that you’re not really building a template you’re kind of digging out a template and a structure so it’s kind of confusing that way i even still struggle with it sometimes however my general strategy for this is to kind of just dig out like A bigger rectangular-ish shape i just want to kind of get an idea of how big to make this i know what i’m gonna have to do is dig this straight through until i hit that lava pit and then from there i’d like to have like a mine kind of Like off to the right hand side and stuff like that i’m also so excited for us to get a branch mine going because as you can see these uh even these iron tools that are enchanted they’re just so much slower so once we get a little bit More diamond it’ll allow us to get better gear and all that good stuff all right so i’m sure this looks absolutely just wild right now because i kind of dug out half of it so basically what i did was i tried to reach uh the lava pit Over here first and i realized i was like way too far it actually brought me over here which is like a really nice view as well we could definitely do something with this area but i just kind of closed it off for now because i’m not Sure what i want to do with this yet so afterwards what i did was i decided to dig a few blocks to the left because i was like well it must be that way anyway here’s the little lava waterfall i love it so i had to go a little bit further And this is the view that i was looking for i just love the way that this little hill looks and i feel like if we kind of decorate it terraform it a little bit or even kind of make our own little gradient on the hillside just change up The blocks a little bit it’ll look really nice so i kind of stopped here because this is what’s going to be the storage room area the storage room facility however literally the only reason why i stopped digging it out was it was just taking a long time and i Kind of figured that if we’re gonna be making a branch mine today and gathering resources anyway i might as well gather better resources and enchant them which will help me get this done a lot quicker so with that that’s what we’re gonna move on to next we are gonna dig out a Little bit of a branch mine so we can get that started i know i’m kind of like tackling a bunch of things at once but if we have like the basic shell of what we need carved out it kind of gives us a clear picture of what we need to do next Anyway so let’s kind of figure out where our branch mine is going to be i think the branch mine kind of needs to be in this area i feel like and i think what i want to do is make the mind kind of open concept i don’t really want doors or Anything so i’m gonna end up having the branch mine three wide for the staircase going down so we’ll dig this out i like this little kind of design that we have with the blocks kind of reducing in size that eventually leads to the branch mine It kind of just draws your eye into the direction of it and then we can decorate nicely around it all right now it’s time for me to dig down so i’m gonna go down to about y11 and i will see you all there all right so this is where i think We’re gonna start our branch mine basically for branch mines for me anyway i like to basically dig out corridors that are two blocks apart like so and honestly i don’t even know if there’s a better way to do this or not this is kind of how I’ve been making my branch mines for a long long time and also the idea is because i remember when i first started minecraft i used to do corridors that were one block apart and it just is actually like kind of pointless to do that because you’re pretty much guaranteed to See some of the vein of ore that you’re gonna find within two blocks anyway and yeah i don’t know if there’s like more efficient ways to do it or not this is kind of just what i’ve been doing forever and honestly i don’t really mind anyway just because i really do kind of Like branch mining in some ways i find it really relaxing to just kind of zone out mine and kind of like gather resources as you’re going along so what i like to do though is i do like to set up like a little bit of a workstation so I usually kind of just like carve out a little piece into the wall and then i make like a little spot for a furnace uh crafting table and all that stuff you know what maybe i actually might not have this as corridor i might make this whole area like a little workstation I’ll place a crafting table here place the furnaces we got two blast furnaces i’m gonna put these back a little bit and wonder if that looks cool yeah i like that and last but not least we need a ton of chests and what i think i’m Gonna do is actually i’m also gonna get rid of this part and i’m gonna start digging this out and we’re gonna make like a little wall of chests that we can use to store all of our valuable items that we’re collecting all right so everything’s put away and We’ve started smelting some of our oars with that i think we’re gonna roll a super speedy branch mining time lapse So All right so i branched mine a ton and wait till you see what we ended up with i think you’re all gonna be pleasantly surprised isn’t this a wild so i got really really lucky with diamonds i found quite a few veins with like five To seven each so i picked them up with silk touch i got the oars and i’m gonna use i only have fortune two instead of fortune three but that’s still gonna give us a lot more diamond for each ore instead of if we just mined it normally So i’m really really excited i can’t believe the amount of diamond i found in particular but yeah now we have a really really nice healthy gathering of resources for us to use going forward so we’re not gonna have to keep constantly going back down into that mine shaft Risking our lives just to get like two or three diamonds so i think what we should do is we should gather all of this stuff and we should head back up and we should mine it with the fortune pickaxe to see what we end up with so Basically what i’m gonna do is i’m just gonna build a giant mountain going from the more common resources to the bottom going all the way up to the more valuable ones at the top so that means we are going to be mining the most valuable ones first however i think it’s Still going to look really cool this is so much oh no what have i done oh yeah this is awesome is it really necessary that i do it this way no but is it gonna look really really cool when i do it yeah so that’s why we’re Doing this all right let’s build our way up with some of this iron as well maybe i’ll mix in a little bit of gold too this is truly truly a work of art i think all right i think it’s time to add the diamond all right this is the most important part Is the diamond carefully place these blocks i feel like the very top of it should just be like the regular diamond or not the deep slate one and last one there we go i think it’s done all right resource mountain is complete okay so it’s the moment of truth i have Both of the correct pickaxes that we’re gonna be using for this in hand ready to go so i don’t use anything anything wrong here oh i’m so excited all right how many diamonds do you think we’re gonna get i think i think i have like 25 or 26 Blocks i don’t know how much fortune yields i’m gonna say around like i don’t know 62 diamonds is what we’re gonna end up with all right enough talking are you all ready for this cause i am let’s go okay well one that’s not exciting oh my Diamonds galore let me try to get all the diamonds first okay 27 29. i think i i think i overestimated my guess i thought it would like double or triple 60 what was i thinking 41. okay that’s pretty good all right oh my this is so satisfying so we have 48 diamonds so far that’s really good actually 55 okay i might have been right about this 57 i think that may have been all of them though unless i have like a random block place somewhere that broke okay there’s one more down here 60 okay i was pretty close that’s Awesome so we got 60 diamonds out of all of this wow okay this was totally totally worth it with fortune 3 would have been better but you know what i’ll take this for sure so let’s just mine all of this stuff we are going to be resource rich for quite some time which Is awesome it’s definitely something we were kind of lacking on this let’s play was just like basic resources oh this pickaxe is about to break well it was good well it lasted at least we got a bunch of resources out of it now i should have gotten this gold and stuff That’s okay we got the main components that we needed with the fortune pickaxes so i’ll just kind of like mine the rest really quickly with the other pickaxes that i have and we’ll see what we get from it all right resource mountain has officially been torn down and you know What we actually yielded some great results um i’m really really happy that i did that it was really fun and i’m super happy that i actually spent the time to branch mine and gather all of this stuff because it just better equips us for what we need in the future for Building and stuff so i’m gonna leave except for all of this stuff i’m gonna leave it all here for now uh and we’re gonna move on to some other things so what i was planning on doing now was putting most of the diamonds away except for about three to make a diamond Pickaxe that we’re going to enchant however as you can see i’m only at level 26 i’d ideally like to get the enchantment table maxed out before we enchant it so maybe what we’ll do is i’ll go down in the mines really quickly and i’ll grab some xp by you know like i Don’t know killing some zombies or something like that and i’ll make a good pickaxe for us to be able to mine away actually you know what i already have a pickaxe i forgot about that i don’t even have to make one oh yes awesome i completely forgot about that oh no This was a bad idea this is a bad idea bye-bye oh is that a spawner oh it could be oh that’s what i wanted if it is i’m gonna be so happy oh my gosh yes it is oh yay perfect we have ourselves a spawner okay I need to like protect this make sure you don’t blow it up all right what we got we got a music disc tons of bones iron bucket gun powder red stone perfect melon seeds actually we need these i’m pretty sure either way we found ourselves a spawner which is awesome because i’ve been Wanting to learn how to make a little bit of an xp farm using these so i am super super happy about this this is gonna help us a ton so i’m just marking the areas with cobble quickly just to create a little bit of a path to that Zombie spawner oh that is terrifying i did not realize that they could have little pumpkin heads as well so festive oh what’s this did i find an amethyst geode i think i did oh no i finally found oh yeah oh this is such a detour i’m so sorry But i have to look yay oh it goes really far down that’s awesome though yes i know there was one hanging around somewhere else but i kept passing by it so finally found one oh what this is wild wow what a treat come on Be my level 30 yes we did it okay let’s get out of here i don’t wanna like there’s so much to explore here but i don’t wanna risk me down here any longer because with my luck something’s gonna happen and i don’t even want to talk About it because it will happen if i talk about it that was a really big detour but we got exactly what we needed level 30 plus more oh geez if only we can make it back to the house tons of mobs around here all right it’s morning We have reached level 30 so it’s time to enchant our pickaxe let’s hope for something good perfect absolutely perfect so unbreaking efficiency and fortune i would say that has been a success it was well well worth it because now we’ll be able to mine that area a lot lot quicker it’ll Go by much faster and we will soon be able to get our storage room started alright so i am going to spend a good time clearing out the portion of this wall behind me probably starting from here all the way back to where our door Is the entrance to this area it is going to take a while but i will see you all soon all right an hour later and i’m pretty much done carving out this entire space so i think i went a little bit overboard i don’t typically do builds Like this where i kind of like terraform a cave like area into rooms so pretty much what i was thinking was i wanted my storage area in this corner right here so what i was gonna do was instead of like leaving a stone wall or whatever And kind of digging into it after i was like i might as well just carve it out because it’ll be easier for me to visualize so i want this like little window area to be one of the main focal points of the storage room so basically My idea was just to kind of place blocks along here just to kind of indicate where uh those storage walls are going to be so what i was gonna do was i have tons and tons of cobble i was just gonna use those as placeholders so we know Where to place each wall and each uh chest and all that stuff so i think instead of having this wall two blocks deep i wanted it to be three so i’m just gonna place this here as a placeholder just to indicate that we’re gonna be filling this in with um some type of Like wood or stone so what i’m gonna do from here is mark out all of the spaces in which i’m gonna have my chest sitting and then have pillars in between the chests so i want the space for the storage room chest to be about three wide so this is wall i’ll go One two three place right here one two three place right here and then one two three place right here all across i just want them all to be the same width so we’ll have three rows of chests per pillar also what we’re gonna have to do Is the chests are gonna sit too deep because they’re gonna be large chests sideways so you have to keep space for that as well what we can do is since i want the pillar kind of to be jutting out a little bit like this and i want The chest to sit in word by one what we’re going to do is we’re going to count for the chest to be laying right here and then the back wall will be around here so to look something like that the chest could be in line with the Pillars however i just want it to have a little bit more depth and dimension it takes up more space but i think it’ll look just a little bit better what we can do now is we can start just placing this as a placeholder wall this will eventually probably be filled in with Spruce i’m thinking i’m gonna use a mixture probably of stone and spruce for this build just like my house pretty much all right one two three we’re gonna do one more right here i think that is gonna be enough space for a storage room because keep in mind we’re gonna be Using this wall as well and i was kind of thinking that i would like this space for something else whether it’s something decorative something that has a little bit more function i mean if not we can always change it back into storage but i just think that it would Be nice to have something at the end that would kind of break up this whole long hallway and what i’d like to do because this is such a long hallway is kind of break it up a bit on this side of the wall so right now we have one two Three four five six seven spaces for storage so what i’m gonna do is right in the center between three sets here and three sets here i’m gonna make this into an opening so we can access the storage room on this side as well i mean it’s probably not gonna Be super necessary because we’re probably gonna have an opening here however i’m intending for this spot to be kind of a hallway of some sorts that’s gonna give you access to whatever’s gonna go here and also the storage room so i’ll just place extra high pillars here just to kind of Indicate that and it should be good so as you can see i kind of bit off a little bit more than i can chew in terms of the space i initially started out with the idea of just having like a storage room and a little bit of a mine However upon digging this out i have given myself so much room to work with and honestly i’m really really excited about that it’s not a bad thing that we have a lot more to do down here it’s a pretty nice little project that we can work on um whether it’s next episode or In between things so for now for the rest of this episode we’re gonna focus on the storage room only and then we’ll tackle these other parts later okay now that we have this side of the wall set out it’s time to work on this side ideally because this is kind of like a Grand space for a lot of storage i want the um width of the floor to be a little bit wider i was thinking about going seven blocks so one two three four five six seven right here and this is where we’re going to be starting our next Pillar just because if you have like the line of sight here the window’s pretty large so you want it to kind of emphasize the window at the end here is what i’m thinking so we’re gonna have to dig into this wall a little bit we can Do that after but we’re gonna do the same thing on this side that we did for this side remember three blocks in between and then place your pillars and when we reach the point where we have the little bit of a hallway and an entrance here it’s just gonna be chests On this side unless we carve into it and make kind of like an alternative entrance which we actually could it might look pretty cool if you have a little entrance coming down from here too but we’ll see what we do with it and that’s the end point all right lastly What i wanted to do before we start laying out the spruce columns and stuff was i had kind of an idea that it would look pretty neat i think if we dig out the floor one block so you would have three chests sitting on what looks kind Of like a shelving unit yeah i think having to like step down into this area would actually look pretty neat it would just add like a little bit more interest to the area so i’m gonna get rid of this floor and then we’re gonna start laying Down the spruce all right so what i think i’m gonna do next is just have slabs as stairs coming down from this side and while we’re at it we might as well have them coming from here as well we’re just going to recess this a bit Just so the slabs sit here and this whole area will be flush and i was also thinking i think it would look really cool if it looked like it was sitting on shelves like i said before so i think having upside down stairs like this will Kind of help with attaining that look so we’re just gonna do that for every spot where the chests are gonna go all right so once that’s done you should have something looking a little bit like this yeah i think it was a really good choice having another entryway here it really Breaks up the wall and stuff alright so next we kind of have to decide what we want to do with the rest of the floor here and i had a little bit of a tough time deciding what to do whether i wanted it to be stone or if i wanted to Continue using spruce and i think ultimately i want to go with spruce especially because we already have this slab down here except we’re gonna try to break it up a bit in terms of texture because everything is just like spruce planks and um slabs and stuff like that What i’m gonna try to do is it’s gonna require a lot more spruce keep in mind i’d like to use the actual spruce logs instead around the edges and then what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna strip them and just create a nice little border around here and around here as well and Then i think that should help just break up the texture of the spruce planks while also keeping in theme with our block palette and we’ve got ourselves a nice little border going around the edges here so what i think we’re gonna do now is i think we have to dig this Out i felt like i was missing something here so i just added a strip along here as well um right after the staircase i think it looks a little bit better i kind of said before what i would do is fill in the rest with spruce however i Think because we have so much spruce going on around here it would actually look really good if we just filled it in with stone and it fits in theme with our block palette and what we can also do is we can also interchange this with regular stone as well afterwards so you Can kind of see it starting to take shape i know it’s a little bit hard to picture at first it always is for me um i find that always drawing out a little bit of a structure always helps when you’re planning things out especially with the width that you’re going to need And once you have that basic structure and you start building into it i find that it starts coming together really quickly but i i completely understand if it’s hard for people to visualize it first because it is for me it took me a little bit of time even off camera to Figure out how i wanted this entire rectangular space to look and you kind of just have to start somewhere with one type of shape and kind of build upon it so now that we have this long rectangular storage room you can see that we’re gonna have space for a long Hallway and we can have separate rooms kind of like jutting out from it but i’ll definitely be the first to admit that looking at this huge empty open space it can be a little bit intimidating at times so you just gotta start somewhere and kind of plan out From there and things will kind of always fall into place all right so now that the floor is done i think we can start working on the pillars that are going to be surrounding each little compartment for the chests so i’m still kind of debating with myself whether or Not i want them to be spruce columns or stone i think what i’m gonna do to decide is build the two and see which one i like better just because i would love to have spruce columns because i find that it’ll make the space look really warm and inviting however the Problem is we already have strip spruce here we have spruce along here so i do have to keep that in mind that if i put too much it might actually end up making the space look i don’t know just a little bit too bland so i placed the two And i think it’s pretty obvious which one’s the winner definitely definitely the spruce i kind of added a little bit of a design right here just to see what it would look like if i completed it this way and i think that this looks really really nice really warm this Looks a little bit too cold i think the stone looks better as a little bit of an accent piece like you can still have it hanging around here towards the back kind of as like our secondary texture for this design rather than the primary so yeah another one of my tips if you’re Always unsure about something try it out first and see which one wins because i honestly wasn’t too sure i had a feeling that i wanted this design but i was a little bit scared that there would be too much spruce involved but it ended up working out pretty well so we’ll tear This all down and we will stick with the spruce columns for sure so we’ll work on the columns around here first just because i don’t even have the wall laid out on this side so i’ll show you all how to build them quickly um they’re relatively easy so basically all you Have to do is make a spruce column like this on both sides and then you strip the logs and then afterwards what i did was i had the spruce uh stair on this one upside down and then from there might be a little bit tricky to place so you can Always just put the stone back here just have your spruce slab place it on the lower part of this block and then place it on the higher part of this block and then go back down to the lower part and you got like a pretty simple little Design right here and we can always add them to the in-between ones as well or we could choose to leave it it might end up looking a little bit too busy like this but for now i think i like that so that’s the general idea that i have for The columns i think what i’m gonna do first before we finish all of these is i’m gonna kind of get started on the back wall so we have more of a complete structure to work with now the back wall is also something that i was contemplating what block i wanted it to Be whether i wanted it to be stone or if i wanted it to be spruce i think what i’m gonna do is end up going with spruce so what i’m gonna end up doing is i’m gonna just for now place spruce planks along here and just fill this all in Because with this wall what i think i want to do eventually is kind of create pillars similar to this so we’ll have a little bit of a recessed wall and we can have items kind of like hanging out in here and have them all decorated so for Now with the backing we’re just going to keep it really really simple and we’re just gonna leave it as spruce planks so like you can see here this is gonna be the entrance of the storage room so we can have a pillar here instead kind of As the entrance and then you see if we have the pillars here it’ll recess the walls and it’ll just add a little bit more interest to this otherwise very very long wall of just plank and i know we’re not really gonna see the floor here but i was thinking what i Was gonna do um was to keep in theme with the flooring over here was i kind of wanted to just fill this part in with pieces of stone and i know we’re not gonna see it but it’s just like a little bit of an extra detail that i wanted to Add to it all right now on this wall we just have to fill in the columns and then add the chest actually maybe what i might do before i put in the columns it might be easier is i’m going to add the chests in first so we’re just going to place them Side by side just like this we’re going to place them too deep i’m going to do them three high what we’re gonna need here is we’re gonna need to cover this space in with blocks kind of like this spot we’re gonna do something a little bit different just to help us add light To this and we’re gonna have to attach these chests together if you don’t know how to do this i didn’t know how to do it for a while where i kept placing it like this and they were all messed up just make sure you are holding down Shift and when you place this one make sure you’re clicking on the side of the chest right here to attach them and you’ve got a full chest all right to get some light in this area what i’m going to do is i’m going to place a lantern right here that shouldn’t affect the Chest and if you see the design on this side we pretty much have to close this part off with stone but you can see that when you try to open the chest here it kind of blocks it from being able to open i’m gonna have to get rid of these chests to Show you all because i should have done this a little bit earlier but what you can do instead is just place stone stairs so you’ll still be able to open the chest with the stairs there so place these before you start placing the chest otherwise you’re not really gonna have Enough room to place them so let me just place the lantern back so we still have some light so you see you still have the light from the lantern kind of peeking through which is nice it just lights everything up a little bit better and then what we’re gonna do is just close Off this wall you can just use stone or brick or whatever you’re not really gonna see much of it and then we’re gonna place our columns back strip them one on this side as well and then we are just gonna put some stone here the same design that we did on the other Columns like this and this is what the storage cabinet will look like by the time you’re done with it the stairs that i put in behind above the chests they’re not technically necessary because you have a front-facing stone here that’s not going to affect the chest however i just Wanted to put it there because i didn’t want it to look like a giant gap above the chests you don’t have to do that if you don’t want to you can just leave it open if you want if that makes it easier but i just did it just to create a Little bit more of a ceiling above and just make it look a little bit more closed off but that’s just pretty much preference now all we have to do is place our item frames so we know what items are in each chest all right so that is what one compartment of our Storage unit looks like so i am going to spend some time filling in all the rest and we are going to see what it looks like as a whole afterwards All right we are nearing the end of this build i probably shouldn’t have done this during the time lapse uh so i could have showed you all exactly what i did but basically i kind of started work on the ceiling of the storage room it’s Pretty simple for all of you to do if you want to do something similar with your builds basically i just replaced all the stone here with stripped logs all going in a straight line here and then this way it kind of cuts across like a little bit of a cross beam and Then what i did right here was i recessed the wall by one block and i replaced it with planks so we just have a little bit more to add to the top of the ceiling like lighting and such and we’re gonna be pretty much done with this build when looking at the ceiling You can kind of see that the gap between this block and these blocks are like just a little bit too stark like there’s just too much of a gap here so just to like kind of smooth it out a bit we’re gonna add slabs all around the edges Here so yeah now that it’s filled in with slabs you can see how it kind of just like stoops down naturally rather than like that dramatic fall off that it had into this piece of ceiling so it looks a little bit better for the final finishing touch on the ceiling we just Have to place lighting and we’re pretty much done so i want all of my lanterns to be placed and have equal spaces between each other the easiest way for me to do that is to have a lancer and placed every other storage unit apart from each other that way you won’t have Too many lanterns and we can also have them equally spaced in the center of each storage unit so you can kind of use these as a guide on where to place your lanterns and they’ll all be equally spaced apart all the way down to the end i think i’m gonna place them starting Like with this one because then we’ll skip over this one and have a lantern hanging here which i like because then it will connect with this hallway so to place these lanterns i figured if you just place it like this they kind of hang a little bit too high and it just Looks a little bit awkward so i had a special item in mind that we could use so we can hang them down a little bit further and that would be tada we are finally using copper it has been six episodes but i’ve finally found my first use for all of The copper we have been collecting aren’t you proud of me i know i’m proud of myself alright so what we’re gonna do is just place the copper lightning rod right in the center here so it is in line with the middle chest here and then just place your lantern there and i Think it acts as like a cool little piece to hang your lanterns from it just helps extend the light down a little bit further we could have used chains but i tried it out and i just don’t think it looked as interesting this just gives like a little bit more texture and Detail to our area so we’re gonna do that for all of these spots now and to add just one more little bit of detail that i think will really help the ceiling come together we’re just gonna add spruce trap doors along the top here just to give that final pop of detail That’ll really just add some extra texture and life to the ceiling oh yeah one thing i wanted to mention was during the time lapse i also added a little bit of texturing to the floor here because it was originally just stone brick so i just added some cracked stone brick and Some regular stone interchangeably the same way that we did with the path to the enchanting table just to add a little bit of extra detail to the flooring so obviously other than the window and i mean everything that else that’s gonna be going in this giant facility that we’ve built underground we Are pretty much done with the storage room this was honestly a very very big task because i kind of didn’t realize how much time it would take me but honestly it was so so worth it it takes a lot of resources especially spruce all the Stone we had to use you’re gonna need a ton of wood for the chests uh leather all that stuff for the frames but you know what it was completely worth it to set this up because now we actually have a proper place to put our stuff and i am So so happy that we got this done all that i really have left to do is just organize all the chests and stuff like that which honestly i’m really excited to do i do like organizing things i’m definitely going to be doing this in my off time because i don’t think you all Want to see me running back and forth organizing all these chests and stuff like that i’m sure everybody has their own methods on how they like to organize their own stuff like i know i like to have all of like my mining resources in one spot all the different types of wood In one spot keep everything all organized and stuff like that i think this turned out really really well i think it’s like a really nice simple pattern that we have going on it looks organized it looks nice it looks cozy and i especially love the lighting that We place behind the chests you can actually see it kind of glow behind there which is really nice too just adds a little bit of extra lighting and detail to it it looks really clean and organized and i think it’ll help us a lot in the long run for this world so Yeah we definitely have our work cut out for this entire little cave area that i have going for us but i think we’re off to a pretty good start and as always let me know in the comments what you would like to see me turn some of these rooms Into i’m always curious and happy to see what ideas you guys have as well alright everybody i think that is it for today’s episode we accomplished a ton of stuff in the next episode i think we’re definitely gonna start pathing out and decorating the outside of our house and This area as well hope you enjoyed this episode i hope you enjoyed the storage room build and i will see you all next time bye Video Information
