Richlarrousse – RMS Balmoral Castle, Minecraft Tutorial part 1

Hello everyone rich here back for another minecraft ship tutorial and today is part one of my rms a balmoral castle now the balmoral castle is a union castle liner i’m not sure the year or date of the scene was completed or the real one anyway but uh this is the

One i’ve come up with and the preview video has already gone down and fairly popular so you already know what you’re going to be building and this is our build here now the stats for this ship are the keel r223 blocks long the ship’s full length is three no two four eight

Blocks long and the width is 31 so there’s a fairly modest size ship um i’m going to start with smaller ships and work my way up and there’s only me for today as brie is napping she may be back for part two part three or whatever but uh part one for me today

And we’re gonna turn uh well try to move this up a little bit change it up again we’re not gonna do just the draft we’re gonna do the whole hell so it should be interesting how this goes on so what we’re gonna do we’re going to start at the keel now like i

Said the keel is already laid but the keel is 223 blocks long i’m not going to bother measuring it but i’ve already got a sign on it saying there so there’s the kill saying two to three blocks long and that’s what you want so what we’re going to do

I’ll start with the base plate of the ship and the red part of that and as usual i’m going to work on the left for one side then work on the right normally if i’ve had bree here she’d have done the other side working with me

But as i’m on my own i’m just going to do one side and then jump cut and do the other side so one side will have to do so what we’re going to do have a look at our ship and that’s what we’re going to be doing so

It’s going to be the red the gray and also a black stripe as well and also a bit of white on the stern so it’s going to be slightly different to what we’re normally doing but you know things things have to change so let’s start with the red

And then i’ll work our way building the gray at the same time the black stripe on the folk saw area will added later on but the black stripe from that section there under the well deck will be added during this video so we’ll have see how things go

So there we are so here’s our keel like i said it’s two to three blocks long and we’re going to start on the uh i think the fourth block let’s start on block four let me just double check because i’ve not written this down which is a good step

Uh so that’s on the one two three yep start on the fourth block so first mistake of the day i haven’t written something down anyway so start on block number four so one two three four and we want a two rows of four so one two three four one two three four

And then four rows of five one one two three four five one two three four five one two three four five one two three four five and then eight one two three four five six seven eight and then seven one two three four five six seven and then nine one two three

Four five six seven eight nine um and then thirteen one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen in seventeen one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen i just measure that to make sure because

I can’t quit it does lag a bit sometimes so that is seventeen that’s fine and then after the seventeen we want 39 so that’s one and i measure it as well as i go along so it’s 39 we want so that’s one two three four five six seven eight nine ten

Eleven twelve thirty fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen eighteen nineteen twenty two one two two three three three four three five three six three seven two eight three nine thirty thirty one thirty two three three thirty four thirty five three sixty seven thirty eight thirty nine just to confirm yep thirty nine there we

Are so that’s thirty nine there that’s our outside edge and then from there we wanna go back uh build towards the keel now we want uh 17 so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten twelve thirty forty fifteen sixteen seventeen and then eleven one two three four five

Six seven eight nine ten eleven and then ten one two three four five six seven eight nine ten and then eleven one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven um and then nine one two three four five six seven eight nine and then we want uh three rows of

And then five one two three four five and there we go that goes back to the keel and then you should have thirteen that’s one zero one three blocks of the kill sticking out the back so that should be thirteen and that is the thirteen blocks of the

Kill sticking out the back like that marvelous and for those who are wondering over there that is the ss rex okay and also over there is the franconi that’s finished now i’ve not done a preview of that but that’s the franconia over there so that’s all done anyway that’s our

Build there and over there’s one of bree ships can’t quite remember what it is but that’s a paddler and over there is the sabayski yeah that’s my breeze paddler right so there we are so now we’re going to do now is go back to the row of 39 and to

The back row of that so the back block of the 39 which is the outside edge um we want to go and add two blocks out one two like that and then two again one two and then up two one two and then one like that there you go it just makes the

Ship slightly wider so then we go to the front of the 39 which is down this end here and then we want to add two out again two out and two out again like that and then we add 10 back one two three four five six seven eight nine ten

And then we go two up two up and then one out like that and there we go so that makes it slightly wider at the front end and then what you want to do is that this block here bro build back that attaches to the block over there so just do this

Filling this bit in like so and then the same on the row underneath or the two rows around that like this it’s basically just filling in gaps and then the next row underneath on this corner block fill in the gap again and this area is the underside curve of

The ship so i’ll point this out on the prototype in a second so anyway that’s that sectional fill then that’s basically makes the ship slightly wider and what that is is this section here on the prototype so it just makes the ship slightly wider and curvier all right so there we are

That is one half of the base plate done so what i’m going to do i’m going to do a jump cut when i do the other side and that shouldn’t take a minute and then we can move on to building the hull upwards so um yeah so that’s that

Bit so i’d like to do i’ll do a jump cut and then we’ll move on so we’re back in a moment okay back again so there’s both sides done and it should look something like that uh got a nice uh girth to the ship now looks there’s only

Only a little one there but uh hey here there we go next job we want to do now is to add the signs to each section so what we’re going to do is start at section 0 which will be the center of the keel or the front of the ship

And we’ll add as a section 0 sign there so this marks the center line of the ship so the front of the keel add a zero and then either side each side i’ll add one so add one over that side and then two two there and then all the way out to

Number fifteen so that’s three and then four i know most people don’t do this but i do it because it makes life easier that’s five there and then number six there and then seven and then eight helps if i can move so eight number nine number 10 and then number 11

And then number 12 down here is 12 13 up there 14 up there and then the last one number 15 up there like so there we go so that makes the ship 15 wide each side so that means 15 each side plus the center line to make the ship 31 wide sets

That’s how that is there so that’s 15 or all the signs to row 15 same at the back end and on both sides go from the center at the zero all the way out to number 15 which would be this one here so 15 there 14 on that one 13 on that one

And then 12 on that one like so and then just carry on all the way to number zero so there we are that’s just so we know where the signs go uh so there we go so that’s the signs added on that bit there what do i do

Another jump cut when i get the rest in and then we’ll start by building the hull upwards so uh back in a moment okay back again so there’s our signs in place on both sides and we shall move on now to start building this thing up now

Before so before we do start just want to say we’re gonna be building this as part of a downloadable project or video on youtube or things like that or use this as part of your own tutorial um then of course don’t forget to leave credit for the design also definitely a

Credit brie as well because he does help out with some of these things so there we go um hopefully okay anyway what we’re going to do now is move on to building the hull upwards and we’re going to start at section zero and as before i’m going to start on the left

Work on the left side and then do a jump cut to work on the right so there we go so this could go one of many ways because i’ve not really tried this out properly but we’ll see so we’ll start at section zero and we’re going to do is on the red

We’ll start with four forwards so one two three four on section zero okay so like i said section zero and then out to number fifteen so section zero so it was four forward like so and then we want three one two three and then two rows of two one two one two

And then up two one two up three one two three three again one two three and there we go and then we want to do now to move on to gray and then on top of the grow we want to go up two one two and then up six one

Two three four five six and then up thirteen one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen there we go so there’s our four peak and there we go so that’s section zero done so now we’re going to number one this could go one of many

Ways like i say anyway for number one uh number one we want to go in red forward four one two three four and then two rows of three one two three one two three and then two rows of two one two one two and then up two one two up three one two

Three up two one two and then in gray on top we want to go up three one two three and then up five one two three four five and then thirteen one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen there we go and then move on to number two

Section two we want to get my notes right so for section two in red we want forward two rows of four one two three four one two three four in a three one two three and then two rows of two one two one two and then up two one two

And then up three one two three up two one two and then in gray we wanna go up two on top one two and then up five one two three four five and then up six one two three four five six and then up nine one two three four five

Six seven eight nine there we go and the the hull at the top will slope down slightly we’ve got the full peak where it’s slightly higher a few rows back it will drop down again a few rows back up drop down again and until we get

To the well deck where it drops down a whole lot more so it’s just it’s a progress or a gradual slope we’re going to create on this hull but anyway that was number two done now we’re on the number three now for section three in red we want forward

Three rows of four so one two three four one two three four one two three four and then two rows of two one two one two and then up two one two and then up four one two three four and then one like that

And then in gray on top you wanna go up four one two three four and then two rows of six so one two three four five six one two three four five six and then four one two three four there we go that’s two blocks drop down

Because i have how the thing goes so it drops down by two blocks and i think we got the design right if we have it then you know shoot me just make sure i get this right okay so that was section three now move on to number four

I’m trying to get my notes ready for this one so section four in red we want to go forward five one two three four five and then two rows of four one two three four one two three four and then three rows or two one two one two one two

And then up three one two three um and then up two one two and then in gray and we’re on top you wanna go up four one two three four and then uh two rows of six one two three four five six one two three four five six and

And then three one two three and then two one two like that and that curves for starting to create the curve of the ship going forward it’s hard to tell from this angle because they’ve got the anchor in the way which doesn’t help okay so that was section four

I think now move on to number five yep number five so for number five we want forward three rows of five so one two three four five one two three four five one one two three four five and i don’t think that’s right somehow was it five five five okay i don’t think

I think i may have made a slight mistake so i’m gonna do a quick jump cut so bear with me okay back again slight mistake that last row is not a four a five it is a four so it’s a four so instead of three rows of five

It is two rows of five so five five and then four okay so there’s the four there so it’s five row row five row five row four and then we want uh three rows of two so one two one two one two first mistake of the day um and then up

Three one two three and then up two one two like that and then in gray you wanna on top you wanna go up three one two three and then uh six one two three four five six and then five one two three four five five again one two three four four five

And then two one two like that there we go so that was section five and then move on to section six section six we want in red three rows of five so this could go wrong so three rows of five one two three four five one two three four five

One two three four five that looks fine and then we want two uh three rows of two one two one two one two and then up two one two and then up three one two three like so and then in gray we want to go forward two so on top of

The red we go forward two like that and then up four one two three four and then up six one two three four five six and then five one two three four five and then three one two three like that and that drops down another block in

Height as the focus or slope so there we go that is section six and you don’t look too bad so far so now move on to number seven so bear with me on this one all right so now we’re on to section seven and for section seven we want

Three rows of five so one two three four five one two three four five one two three four five and then we want three rows of two one two one two one two and then up two one two and then up three one two three

And then in gray we want on top forward two one two and then up four one two three four and then two rows of five one two three four five one two three four five and then four one two three four there we go so that’s section seven done like that

Um that’s fine and now we move on to section eight and the section eight we want to adjust my notes first section eight we want in red to go forward eight one two three four five six seven eight and then five one two three four five

And then two rows of three one two three one two three and then we want two rows of two one two one two and then up two one two and then up three one two three like that and then in gray we want on top forward two one two

And then up four one two three four and then two rows of five one two three four five one two three four five and then four one two three four like that and there we go that’s section eight done like that and she don’t look too bad do she

All right now move on number uh number nine number nine then we just adjust my notes get the paper clip is sticky yeah here we go number nine we want forward seven one two three four five six seven and then eight one two three four five six seven eight

And in three one two three and then three rows of two one two one two one two and then up two one two and then up three one two three and like that and then in gray we want to go forward two one two like that and

Then up four one two three four and then up two rows of five one two three four five one two three four five and then up four one two three four like that there we go and there’s that section there and it should start to slope down again

In a minute so that’s that one there so that was number nine so now we move on to a number ten and by george we’re getting near the end of this section uh well the front half anyway so just adjust my notes again now for section 10 we want in red

Forward nine one two three four five six seven eight nine and then uh seven one two three four five six seven in three one two three and then three rows of two one two one two one two and then up two one two and then up three one two three

And then in grey let’s make sure in gray we want forward two one two and then up three one two three and then up three rows of four one two three four one two three four one two three four and then three one two three that that

Drops down another block in height like that and it don’t look too bad looks right okay so that was number nine uh number ten sorry so now we’ve on number 11. and we’re getting through this isn’t too bad so for number 11 if i can get my notes in the right place

For number 11 in red we want forward thirteen so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen and then nine one two three four five six seven eight nine and then three one two three and then we want three rows of two one two one two one two

And then up two one two and then up three one two three like that and then in gray we want forward two one two and then up three one two three and then three rows of four one two three four one two three four one two three four

And then three again one two three like that there we go so that was number eleven and now we move on to number twelve which is all the way back here and let me just adjust my notes again so for number 12 i want to do on the red

To remove this block here get rid of that and then in red we want forward 17 one two three four five six seven 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 and then we want 13 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13

And then three one two three and then we want uh four rows of two one two one two one two one two and then uh up two one two and then up two again one two that’s the same height as that yep and then in gray we want forward two one two

And then up three one two three and then up four uh actually up three rows of four so one two three four one two three four one two three four and in three one two three there we go so that was section 12 and she’s looking modified

Now move on to section thirteen which is this one here and as before remove this block here on top and we start from there so for section thirteen we want 17 so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17

And then four one two three four and then two rows of three one two three one two three and then three rows of two one two one two one two um and then up two one two and then one and that forward like so

And then in gray we want up two on top so up to one two and then up three one two three and then two rows of four one two three four one two three four and then we want two one two and then on top of that one block of black

Like that and there we go so that’s the first block of the well deck i do believe so yeah that the focus drops down at this point here and then goes down to the world deck so the black line is the line of the well deck and that’s that point there so that’s

The black this black strike will continue forward but at a later date so we won’t worry about that too much but that is section i think it’s 13 so now move on to number 14. this one here let me just adjust my notes because i don’t know where i am

I’m in the right place i believe i have yep so for number 14 we want in red we want forward six so one two three four five six and then two rows of four one two three four one two three four and then three one two three

And then three rows of two one two one two one two and then one on top like that and then in gray we want to go and add forward two one two i think that’s right yeah forward two four two like that in gray and then up three one two three

And then two rows of four one two three four one two three four and then two one two and in black one on top like so there we go that should be in line with the previous one that is that’s fine that is section 14

And now we move on to section 15 so section 15 the last one we want forward on top in red three rows of four one two three four one two three four one two three four and then we want uh two rows or two one two one two and then one

Like that and then in gray we want forward two one two move double checking that four two and then up three one two three three again one two three and then four one two three four and there’s three one two three and then a black block on top like so i

Didn’t write that last one down but i gather that is right um there we go that is all 15 sections of the bow or the front half of the ship done and it don’t look too bad so that’s it just looks like that at the moment just

A skeleton but if you look at it from the front you should have a vague very vague ship shape going on there’s nothing really special but that is how the front half should look and it doesn’t look too bad now before i do a jump cut and copy to

The other side or do the other side all you need to do now is go on the inside or you can do both sides because like i say me and brie would have been working together so we would have both sides done but as i’m just working on my

Own i’ve got one side done so i’ll do the other side in the jump cut but what you do now let’s go on the inside and just fill in the gaps between each section like so in the red and the gray so there’s the red dot and then the gray bits

All the way like so a bit of a time consuming job but it’s worth it in the end and then the next row do the same again so let’s say it’s the time consuming job but the rewards are quite nice i’ll do one more row why not

Some of you probably already seen this ship anyway because it’s done the preview video but a lot of you would have seen this being built in the live streams um i got a date of when this thing was actually completed i think it was sort

Of the end of june early july when i built this and i’m quite happy with it but anyway that’s the first few rows done and filled in and it should start to look something like that you can see it’s taking shape so what i’ll do now i’ll do a jump cut

While i fill in the rest i’ll also do the other side as well so we’ll have the whole front end done and then we can move on to the back end of the ship so um there we go so uh jump cut time so back in a moment

Okay back again so there is the ship all filled in and it should in theory look something like that don’t look too bad you see the black line just ends on that first black block there so the black stripe just begins along the top there so that’s where that should go

And apart from that don’t look too bad so just look around the other side so we’ve got both halves of the bow done and uh yeah she don’t look too bad so that’s uh that’s the front half of our ship daddy look on the inside so it should look something like that

And yeah not too bad and like i said the black line will continue forward but we’ll add that either at the end of this video or the beginning of the next or so so the black line is just a stripe but it’s going to be included in the back

Half of the ship here so what we’re going to do now is move to the back end and start building that up so this is going to be slightly different we’re going to incorporate the black stripe and the white poop deck area as well so that’s

Gonna be interesting so we’ll go down to section zero of the back end and for section zero like i said we’re gonna start i’m gonna work on the left side then copy it across so don’t know where it is so for section zero at the end of the

Key we’re gonna go up in red ten so one two three four five six seven eight nine nine ten i’ll just measure that to make sure that it’s ten because it lagged a bit uh there’s two outs that’s ten and then in gray on top of that we go up

Six one two three four five six and then we go forward whenever i say four i mean back okay so i mean four two one two like that and then four one two three four and then three rows of three one two three one two three one two three

And then two one two and then in black two one two and then in white we want two one two and then up two one two like that and there we go that’s the shape of our stern and it should look something like that

So it’s gonna be a sort of a fan tail look at the prototype that’s what we’re going for this is what we have there we go so that was section zero done so then move on to section one and we just adjust my notes otherwise i get

This wrong so for section one what we want to do on the red we go forward nine so one two three four five six seven eight nine and then two one two and then up four one two three four and then up five one two three four five and then one like that

And then in gray on top we go up five one two three four five and then up two one two and then forward three one two three and then four one two three four and then three rows of three one two three one two three one two three

And then two one two and then in black two one two and then in white four two one two up two one two like that and there we go that’s the section number one and then move on to section number two and we’re getting a bit of lag here the

Frame rate’s gonna be funny so anyway we’ll move on to section two and for number two we want in red forward five one two three four five and then six one two three four five six and then two one two and then up three one two three up four one two two

You see we’ve got a bit of a design going on down here not much at the top though anyway now move on to number three and we did just the frame rate see if this works uh how does it improve things not too bad anyway now we’re under number three

So in red we want forward i don’t change my notes yet so for that so for for three in red we want forward seven so one two three four five six seven and then five one two three four five and then two rows of two one two one two

Um and then up two one two up two again one two and then up four one two three four like so and then in gray on top we go forward two one two and then up two one two and then up three rows of two one two one two one two

Two and then in white forward two one two and up two one two like that there we go so that’s section three done there now move on to number four and the frame rate is dropping again i do apologize if it’s a bit laggy uh for section four

Two up two one two like that there we go so that was section four now move on to number five which is this one here and the frame rate is a bit erratic i do apologize but we’ll get through it and for number section five in red we want forward ten

Four like that and then we want a row of three one two three and then in black a row of three one two three and then in white we go forward two rows of two one two one two and then one like that there we go so that was section five like that

And you see we’re starting to get a bit of a shape if i look at it from the back like so not too bad anyway that was that one there section five now move on to number six now for number six we want forward two

Rows of ten so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten one two three four five six seven eight nine ten and then two rows of three one two three one two three and then three rows of two one two one two one two

And then up two rows of two one two one two and then uh in gray on top we go forward three rows of two one two one two one two and then we want three one two three and then we want seven rows of four so one

Like so and i just adjust my notes bear with me okay right for number seven hopefully the frame rate’s improved uh for number seven we want forward two rows of ten so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten one two three four five zero eight nine ten and

Then four one two three four and then three rows of three one two three one two three one two three and then four rows of two one two one two one two one two and then in gray we want forward two rows of two one two one two

That to make that seven that’s one two three four five six seven rows of four that’s fine and then black we want four one two three four and then in white we want three one two three two one two and one like that there we go start with section seven looking marvelous

And now move on to section eight now for section eight we want to adjust my notes now i had to do a jump cut there because the lag was really bad anyway onto section eight and what we want in the red is forward nine one two three four five six seven eight nine

And then ten one two three four five six seven eight nine ten and they want three rows of four one two three four one two three four one two three four and then two rows of three one two three one two three and then three rows of two one two one

So for number nine in red we want four not eleven so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten them and then nine one two three four five six seven eight nine and then four rows of four one two three four one two three four one two three

Four one two three four and in four rows of three one two three one two three one two three one two three like that and then in gray we want three one two three and then we want ten rows of four so i’ll count these as a single so that’s one two three

Let me just double check the prototype um how to tell ready for the zen goddess there is only three rows of two in there two two twos we’ll go with it i think what i’ll do i’ll do a quick jump cut just to make sure everything’s fine so i shall return

It to the moment okay back again everything’s fine so that’s all that done so now what we do now is go down to section 10. and start again well i’ll start again but carry on what we were doing so section 10 we want forward

Uh 10 so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 and then 11 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 nine ten limb and then five one two three four five and then four rows of four one two three four one two three four one two three

And that now move on to number eleven and you’ll tell i’ve not done this for a while because my voice is starting to go anyway on to number 11 then we want forward 11 so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten them and then ten one two

We go sort of towards the forward or towards back we go back five one two three four five and then down two one two like that and this would be the end of the superstructure so you can basically fill this bit in with white like that so that’ll be the end

Of the of the proof deck and that’ll be where the um superstructure opens up to a promenade deck so that’s that bit down there so that was section 12. and now we move on to number 13. so number 13 is all the way down here to that one i just adjust my notes

Get my paper clip in the way can’t see it right so that’s it yeah okay section 13 in red we want to remove this block here and replace that with 17 so one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17

Need don’t need any more white just a single black block on the top like that there we go and now i move on to number flip f14 and just adjust my notes again so for number 14 we remove this block here in the middle

Now we’re under number 15 and dad downstairs fighting with bonnie um so for section 50 which is the last one we want on the top here in red we want forward six so one two three four five six and then two rows of five one two three

Four five one two three four five and then four one two three four and then two rows of three one two three one two three and that should be in line yet and then in gray we want forward four rows of two one two one two one two one two

And then we want up two one two up three one two three and then up four one two three four like that and then on top a single block of black like that there we go and that is all 15 sections of the stern done and it should

In theory look something like that so i want to do now just look at it from the back end to make sure we’ve got the right shape going on and we do a nice overhang going on there and we want to do now is uh as i said

Before if we got both sides going at the same time it should look fine but as i don’t i’m just going to work on one side go on the inside and as before just fill in the gaps with the red and the gray and the white and the black and all

Things like that i’ll do the first few sections and then the gray like that that’s fine and then the next row like that and then the red again next round i’ll do one more row why not it’s quite easy the stern because most of the sectors are quite close together so just

Fill in each section like so and there we go that’s the first few filled in and if you look at it from the outside it’ll start to look something like that also need to fill in the white as well but there you go so again that’s the first few sections

Of the standard so what i’ll do now i’ll do a jump cut and fill in the other side and fill in all the gaps i’ll also fill in the side panel as well which is the section in the middle here between section 15 on the front and 1650 on the back of this

Big big space on the side i fill that in as well so i should do a jump cut when i sort that out and then we can move on to something else so um back in a moment okay back again so there’s the back end

Of the ship all filled in and it should look something like that also the side panel as well so the whole hull of the ship is complete and it don’t look too bad so that’s one side and then of course i’ve done the other side as well

And then the ship don’t look too bad marvelous so just have a quick look on the inside as well got a bit of a weird lighting issue but that’s just that’s just minecraft um there we go there’s on the inside and it should oh look ma looks like that

There we go that’s that job done um another job you can do is to fill in the floor which is all red um but i don’t normally do this till last but you can probably do this now if you want to so i just use welded it to

Do this one so you fill uh 251 14 by 300 or 400 and i fill in that side and then save the other side of the keel there we go so there’s the floor all filled in marvelous right so that’s that job done so we’re going to do now

I’m going to add the focusal deck which is the raised deck on the front of the ship and what we’re going to do is go to the front center go to the front center just i’m sure work out what block we go to so we’re going to the front center

Let me go inside we go to the fourth block down so that’s one two three fourth down to that point there now it’s going to go to the prototype because i can’t quite remember if this is right or not so go in here one two one two three

After third block down so it’s a third block down sorry sorry sorry so do this again we’ll go to the third block down so flip okay one two three there there we are so from there we want to go back and add 11 so that’s one already two

Three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven like that and then underneath that we want eighteen so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen eighteen and then underneath that we want nineteen so one two three four five six

Seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen 18 19 and after that i want to color center block tomorrow center like so and then in white we go out to the sides 11 so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11

And then gray like that and then what we do we just add gray one forward and then two down like so to create the end of the folks all decadent fill in the gap there like so do the same the other side one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven

And then the gray there like so there we go that creates the end of the focus deck like so and that’s that little job done there then what we want to do now is whether the frictional deck raises up by a block it build out to the side so build this

One out to the side and then at the end reaches the gray just adding the gray block to mark the end of that section there because the deck uh will define the contours of the of the focus rather than or the contours of the hole rather than the hunt itself so

Build the wood out to the side and then add a gray block where you need to so next section down build the wood out to there like so and then add the gray blocks like that and there we go that determines the area of the hull like so up to that side there

And then out to this side there like that and that’s the focus all not quite filled in so we want to do now is go back to the end of the focus or the back end and then underneath that one block forward of the end color block

We want to build down three so one two three like that is to create the wall the boundary of the uh of the folks also they’re gonna go down three and then just build that out to the side like so this is like say this creates the wall shut out bonnie

Like so and then the same the other side like so there we go so there’s the end of the focus and then underneath that would be the main deck so underneath the folks at least this wall here would be where the the main deck goes so

This deck would go the full length of the ship so go all the way forward and all the way back and when you build it all the way along the side of the ship it should be one block below the black lines if i build this back a bit

You see it goes one block below the black so this deck here which i’ve just laid here you want to build that all the way back to the back of the ship and then all the way forward underneath the folk saw as well so that’s going to

Take a little job do a little time and also you’re going to want to fill in the folks also if i start at the top up here and just fill in this whole area by hand now shut up bonnie for god’s sake do the next row along as well

Damn bonnie probably heard next does goldfish fart so you want to go embark on it come on there we go so there we go there’s the first few that’s the first two sections filled in so we want to just fill in that last section as well both sides

And then go down to the next deck as well so like so you want to fill this whole deck in which would go right to the back of the ship below that black line i’m going to build the whole thing fill the whole thing in below that black line and also all the

Way forward as well so this would go from the front all the way to the front of the ship there’s a very long time consuming process and i would use the fill to all the dirt but i’ve been told that not to do that because it does the server up a little bit

Soon and what i’ll do i use the save oh command just in case i do focus over it and i will try the fill um i use it on the layer on the focus on first i just fill in these sections first so don’t have any boundary issues

And actually use the fill tool here so bear with me on this one so i got better fit on the other side as well otherwise like i said there’ll be boundary issues so here we go so i use the fields also fill wood by 200 and that’s filled in that section there

That’s marvelous and then the next section up here should fill this one in fine there we go that’s that one done as well so there’s the folks all filled in you can’t really see it against the uh the backdrop of gray but i’ve done that last section but there we go

I’ll say it’s quite a difficult one to see because the backdrop is all gray and the hull of the ship is grey so it’s an awkward one to see but there we go there’s the uh the folks all done and then like i say come down to the next deck below

And just fill this all in as well so this is going to be wood all the way from the front of the ship all the way to the back underneath that black line so i’m going to use the fill tool in this area i’m going to use it sparingly this may

Go wrong so if a server crashes we know what happened look there we go well the server didn’t crash so that’s a good thing so there’s our deck almost filled in i just go to the front end to make sure it’s filled in right that end and it hasn’t

Because of course i put a boundary in so i shall do the same under here get this all filled in so put a block there and stand on that and use the fill tool here i know i normally i’m trying to reduce the amount of welding that i use but because this

Ship is a bit bigger than the last one and i’m working on my own this time and it doesn’t make life a bit easier to use while there’s anywhere there’s the front half of the deck down so i want to come to the back end

And fill that in as well so it’s the same process just all the way to the back and as long as we fill the deck one block below the black everything should be fine and hopefully this will work oh there we go so there’s a decal filled in oh that’s brilliant beautiful so

There’s the deck done and our ship should look something like that marvelous if i see you say myself there we go so that’s that the two decks done there and our ship should look something like that so what i’m going to do now i

Should do a jump cut i want to work out what to do next and we should return in just a moment okay back again so what we’re going to do now is move on to the first piece of the ship superstructure and we’re getting quite a lot done in this one

Video but it’s a small ship so we’re going to do is go to the back end of the focusroll where the center block is which is the block here and we’re going to go underneath to the center point of the wall underneath which causes one block ford so i’ll put

A center block there like so you can see you’ve got this back wall here one block forward of the rest and then from the wood center block which is this block here we’re going to count back to the 15th block that’s one block there two down

One two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve they need fourteen fifteen there so on the fifteenth block we’ll put a center block there like so and we’re gonna build our in inner walls and front wall so the front wall we want is gonna be

17 wide so that’s eight either side so that’s one two three four five six seven eight that way and one two three four five six seven eight that way and then this front wall we’re gonna increase that to four high so two three four all the way across

Like so that’s four highlight that and then from the top line i’m gonna go out six so one two three four five make it five there we are so i said six we make it five like that same the other side out five one two three four five like that that gets to

The outside edge like that now we’re gonna leave those two bits there these over hanging bits for now cause we’re gonna focus on the inside walls so i’m going to work on the left it’s going to be the same on both sides so don’t worry so from the side from

Do first is build this inside wall to three high let’s just say three highlight because the deck will sit on top of this so we’ll build this three height all the way along and then i’ll copy it to the other side so i just do this like so build it to three height

And it’s gonna take a little while but there we go but hey here it’s all fun at the end of the day shut up money like that and of course the 60 whenever it is 65 i’ll use welding for this one like i said i’m working on my own so i

Have an excuse don’t just fill this with courts there so sit quartz the next row like that and then the last bit up to here like so there we are there’s that section does those inside walls done like that and then you want to do the same thing

On the other side so i’ll do the quick the first bit so so it’s the row of two two there two back and then it was the 20 all the way down so it’s exactly the same as that row there so just basically just copy

That to the other side so what i’ll do i’ll do a quick jump cut i’ll sort that out and then now i’ll move on to the next bit so uh back in a moment okay back again so that’s both sides done it should all look something like that

And then the last job for the day well two jobs to do is to add the overhang of the uh promenade deck sort of thing so we go from these end pillars on the side you’ve got the front wall there then you got these bits that stick out

What we’re going to do is go from these sticky out bits and build along the sides so from the first sticky outfit so i’m on the right side this time so i’m working back so this is the right side of the ship we want to add uh

Four back so one two three four so basically following the contours of the outside so it’s four back and then seventeen one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirty fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen i think that should be 16 sarge i’ll take that back once it’s 16 there

Double check that’s it 16. yeah 16. i may have measured it wrong so there we go it’s 16. and then we want uh 69 so that’s the first block there and i’ll measure as i go through what’s 69. each of their ender today

It should be 69 in a way so it could be one block less or more so we’ve got to the end of the black there and that’s 70. so yeah we won’t block out so let’s see the 69 or 70 so i’ll go at 70.

So it’s a slight change at the front so i said 17 ended up being 16 and this i said 69 ended up being 70. so it’s a slight it’s a block out somewhere but it’s not a problem as long as it’s just a block you’re not really having an issue

You know that’s the 70 there and at the end of that 70 or 69 you want 25 so one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve ten fourteen fifteen sixties sixteen seventeen eighteen nineteen twenty twenty one twenty two two three twenty four twenty five i’ll measure

That because it lagged a little bit so it should be 25 and it is and then we want 21 so one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 and then lastly just want to build back

One two three four five six seven eight to connect to the back end of what would be the poop deck or the front end of the poop deck and it should look something like that so that’s the overhang done there i did the same the other side might as well

Don’t try and get this right so i want to go back here it was four nights so one two three four and then i think i said 17 ended up being 16 so i’ll make it 16 so one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 11 12 13 14 15 16

That’s fine and then we want the 69 or 70 so i make it 70 so oh well did it well not welded if i count it as i go along instead of counting it blah blah blah that’s 70 up to that point and that is 70 that’s fine

And then the 25 one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen forty fifteen cities 17 18 19 20 21 2 2 3 2 4 3 5 and then 21 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12

13 14 15 16 13 18 90 20 21 and then eight one two three four five six seven eight and there we go that’s all connected up there and it shouldn’t look too bad i can’t really see anything but there we go and then that’s that job done and then that’s

That’s per usual you can start adding the doors or windows to these walls here i won’t do that in this video i’ll explain it better in the next video but that is the inside corridor and there’ll be doors and windows added to that later on

And then the last job you want to do is go to the back end of the ship or the front end whichever you want to do or the front end of the area we’re just done start adding and we’ll deck into the at the back end

The deck would go right to the back end but if i go to the front end of the area we’re building it won’t make sense to go to the front wall of what we’re doing and just add the deck along the top like so now you’re going to build that all the

Way to the back end of the ship and it’ll overhang this area here to the wall the deck will sit on top of the walls there and go out to the side so you have an overhang like that and you just want to build the deck all

The way back so i shall do a jump cut while i do that in case i screw the server up so we’re back in a moment okay back again so there’s the deck all added and the ship in theory should look something like this and that’s it for part one basically so

Let’s have a quick look underneath the other hang there so you can see the deck goes all the way along that and it goes all the way to the back of the ship and it don’t look too bad so that is like i said part one done

Not sure what to do in part two because we’ve got so much done in part one um but we’ll wait and see so that’s our ship’s done the balmoral castle’s not looking too bad i think for part two we’ll do the next deck of the superstructure and then

Probably the next deck after that which will be the deck houses bridge and wheelhouse and things like that we’ll wait and see um i might get this done in three parts of any luck so there we go so that’s like that’s part one done and uh you’re not looking too bad so i
