Robs Mind – Minecraft Bedrock Hardcore (#3): GODLY Overpowered Leveling Device

Hello everybody and welcome to another episode of the hardcore series brought to you by rob’s mind we’re here on bedrock edition with a resource pack enabling hardcore mode and today we’ve got some big plans for the episode starting with i’ve got a couple of these uh xp storing furnace arrays that we are

Actually gonna build one more out of a couple of blast furnaces here so let’s get that going real quick So to start things out we’ll place a couple of hoppers leading into a double chest right there that’s where our smelted items are gonna flow out then we’ll place some blast furnaces on top of there or regular furnaces if you’d rather i’m gonna put hoppers on the sides for some fuel input

With chests on top of each of those then we’re gonna do some hoppers on top like that then we’ll need some blocks on the back like so we’re gonna need comparators on top of each of those blocks that’ll pull a signal out of the hopper and let us

Know if it’s got any items then we can put blocks in front of each of those comparators we’re gonna slap a couple of sticky pistons underneath these blocks right here we’ll have redstone blocks on the face of each of the sticky pistons and repeaters that will be facing into those hoppers

Then i’m going to go ahead and pop a double chest on top of the hoppers up top and that’ll be our item input so pretty much essentially what this system is doing is if there are any items inside of these hoppers it will turn these comparators on which will

Extend these sticky pistons and turn off our repeaters here allowing the items to be pulled into the chest then once these hoppers have no more remaining items in them obviously the pistons will retract the hoppers will get locked and we’ll be able to pull out our items from the

Inside of the furnaces in order to get our xp and we can kind of see what’s going on here this one i’m smelting a ton of sand into glass and we’ve got a bunch of it smelted already and this one i’ve been doing a lot of

Mining and i mean a lot of mining so this one we’re we’re doing copper oh my god oh my god we are doing so much copper and both of these hoppers also are totally full of copper the furnace is full of copper and we’ve already got almost 18 stacks melted just past 18

Stacks and all of these what is that six six stacks of copper blocks which would be what is that 54 stacks of regular copper ingots and it’s getting to be nighttime so we’re going to take a nap i’ve been collecting a lot of phantom membranes but you know uh they kind of

They kind of ruined my flow on the episodes let’s come down to this storage room and grab ourselves a little bit of coal i’ve got a little bit to spare i’m gonna go ahead and pop some coal into these hoppers now we’re gonna go ahead and smelt down

All of this we got tons and tons of raw iron and the raw iron may be more valuable than the smelted iron itself but not if you don’t have an iron farm yet so i i’m gonna end up using a lot of this iron and i i i want it smelted and

There we go we’ve got tons and tons of iron into the system and both of these hoppers are already totally full and we’re getting tons of iron smelted already so this this system is working great and once we’ve got all of this taken out yeah we’re gonna end up with tons of levels

Oh man i wasn’t really wanting to ruin my perfect level count but you know we’ll find something to spend it on don’t worry now let’s go ahead and grab our jet pack from the wall of treasures here and if you guys saw the last episode we built

Up some of these pathways i really am enjoying them they’ve started to grow on me even the leaves had a little bit of a creeper incident over here as you can tell but that that’s okay it’s no big deal i’ll fix it up later but if you do remember correctly if you

Did watch the last episode back here i was going to place in a special farm but i’ve had a change of heart not with the project we’re still doing the project but it’s not going to be here i’m sure that you guys have seen glimpses of this place as i was building

Up that little uh furnace array right there but uh this is going to actually be our godly overpowered leveling device or or gold farm yeah it’s going to be a gold farm and it is going to be great it’s gonna get us tons and tons of gold

And tons and tons of xp so that i can actually repair a bunch of my nearly broken tools and if we check inside of my craftsman toolbox here you can see that yeah we’ve got this uh channeling trident is almost broken my netherite duplication apparatus that thing’s almost broken

I think i’m gonna go ahead and mend that up in a second with some of that quartz i got laying over there i’d like to put mending on all of my piggy pokers i’m sure you’ll see what that’s for in a moment and i got a couple of shovels i’d

Really like to fix up in my fishing rod speaking of which let’s do a little fishing oh yeah i think we finally got a fish nice now this fish over here is for my cat cloud here you go take your fish get out of here now in here we are really really close

To getting all the glass bottles for the honey farm all filled up which is great we need we need that filled up and uh let’s go ahead and check how much oh my god yeah we need to start crafting i guess with the amount that i’ve got in

Here i might actually have enough glass bottles to totally fill up our system we’ll go ahead and pop those in here yeah we’re getting quite the collection of honey blocks run [Applause] and i suppose while we’re at it let’s go ahead and craft up our honeycombs into honey block honeycomb blocks yeah

Honeycomb blocks we’ll do that as well and yeah we we’ve got quite the collection of these as well not too bad go ahead and close up that door oh best door ever love it i am gonna be needing a lot of quartz quartz and i am going to also need to be

Repairing my pickaxe so we’ll just mine up a stack of quartz ore real quick and there we go gotta got two almost two and a half stacks of quartz right there not too bad i can live with that and now down here for this gold farm let’s go

Ahead and hop down here and check it out i’ve got a little drop shoot with a viewing platform in case we want to see this thing working that’s the bottom of the portals right over there that the zombified pigmen will be spawned again spawning in it’s so weird to say

Zombified pigmen i just i always called them pigmen before this but now with piglens and all that stuff that i don’t know it’s it’s weird i think they’re zombified piglets aren’t they i don’t know but either way the pigment will be spawning over here they’ll be dropping

Down and i’m gonna try and be splitting them half and half you know ish over to get to this tube over here into this tube over here and if we mine our way through right there the way that these guys will actually be coming through you know

They’ll they’ll flow on to the edge of this and then all these water streams will carry them across and eventually they will be brought over here there’s a wall right there that pushes them up and they’ll kind of shove each other into these tubes and i’ll have them carried up and into

Four different trident killers that’ll probably be located kind of in this general area here and now that i think about it that was originally gonna be the back wall of this building the building is gonna have to come on a later date because oh my god it’s such a

Such a big building a really cool design and in fact it is such a cool design that i’m hearing a creative building world where i will actually show you exactly what we’re going to be building around this gold farm there it is we’re going to be building up a massive

Cathedral to hold all of our little uh priest villagers whatever you call those guys but yeah i’m pretty proud of this design honestly this is probably the best thing i have ever in my life built hey that’s pretty good but as i said that is

Gonna be one hell of a project so we are gonna have to do that in the next episode maybe the one after because i also want to build a moss-based bone meal farm that i’ve recently made a tutorial on so on this side you may notice if you can actually see down

There through this glass we don’t actually have any of the water installed over here so i think that’s what’s worth doing next on this project anyways and if you’re wondering what’s going on with all of these like purple designs in the floor that is actually my interpretation of a

Testicular cancer ribbon because as you may or may not know i recently had just just had a battle with testicular cancer and yeah it wasn’t very fun but you know we got through it we survived and i recently got checked by the doctor and he said that i have no more cancer

So that’s always good news that’s what you want to hear in that situation you know i’ll have to go through and do some periodic checks every now and again but i’m i’m pretty hopeful that i’m i’m gonna be cancer free from here on out anyways all right and now that is all

Done the water streams are all in place ready to flow these pigmen up to the water columns over here we just got to set that system up in a minute but for right now all of our furnaces have finished smelting so let’s see how much experience we get from this

So we ended up mending up pretty much everything that i wanted to got the trident couple of shovels the pickaxe and the fishing rod all mended up and it got a lot of experience as you can see we’re at level 89 now and you guys are probably wondering how we did

On the ore front there how much how much ingots did we actually smelt up with all of that and in the copper we have smelted up nearly 7 500 ingots and with the iron we smelted up 3 869 ingots in total so that’s a lot iron that’s going to keep

Me set for quite a while and we’ve already started building up the next phase of the project which would be the storage so as you can see i’ve got uh six five by five areas of chi of uh barrels right there and i’ve got a marked out with an item frame in the

Center indicating what will be stored in each section now we need to go ahead and set up the redstone for this system so this system is not going to be your traditional item sorter here we are going to have a slightly custom one and that’s kind of how i like to do

Things anyways right here we are going to place our hoppers facing into these blocks over here very important that they face these blocks otherwise these if these are facing directly into the hoppers below them they will be able to transfer items even though these hoppers below are locked

Now that’s all done i’m gonna place some ice right here i’ve actually got blue ice that i’m using but it doesn’t have to be blue ice i’m just doing it to be you know fancy and hopefully it’ll actually go faster than packed ice next we’re going to skip that

Row of hoppers and place blocks all along here with repeaters on top of each of those blocks and blocks behind each of those repeaters just like that then we will go ahead and place a row of blocks diagonal to those with redstone torches right here and that will actually power our repeaters

And lock the hoppers below then next we’re going to need to place a temporary block right here block there and there bust that one right there and place blocks all along here with repeaters on those blocks as well then we’ll fill in this line of blocks

Behind the repeaters and up on top it should kind of look like this we’ve got the ice right here then we’ll have a row of comparators just like that and two rows of blocks in front of the comparators just like so with redstone on top of all of these blocks just like that

And that should actually be our system all complete we can throw in whatever junk item we want right there and then you know the item that we want to be sorting and now we’ve got all of the items orders all the way built for the project pretty cool

And we can go ahead and test the system right now and the way we’ll run a quick test is by just kind of filling that slot up with a stack of whatever we want to and it should stop it i can’t remember 40 items i believe

And there goes yeah it’s stopped at 40 items because we have the two repeaters in there so we got one repeater on that block and one repeater on this block and that actually causes a little extra delay that allows for one extra item to be taken out because if you were unaware

The conventional item sorter leaves 41 items in the storage unit so as of now all of the redstone for our storage array is all completed and oh my god this thing has got a lot of copper in it so far we’ve got copper running all the way through that top row

Down each and every pillar separating the barrels and i’m sure you noticed that we built all of the redstone on top of copper i was going to build it onto gold blocks but i just i just have all this copper laying around and not not well not currently any gold

No not really any at all all right i have gotten a decent amount of work done on all the redstone for this farm and yeah i’ve done a little bit of decoration with some of this uh nether wart block uh i’m not gonna leave it all

Nether wart block i just kind of wanted this red carpet effect i think i’ll mix it up with probably some red wool or maybe some red concrete once i collect those blocks of course that’ll that’ll be put off for another another time but speaking of the redstone as i

Was saying i got pretty much everything all wired up i left this side blank so we can do a little bit of it together i know it’s going to be a kind of a redstone intensive episode but i hope that’s okay with some of you guys and

Wanting to delve into the more technical side of this but essentially what these two buttons do right here is one of them will turn on the trident killers as you can see here the trident killers all start going other than this one which we are going to wire up in a

Second and once you hit the button again it turns everything off very nice and then this side will go ahead and initiate our dispensers spitting out water which will effectively kill our portals and it will also extend these sticky pistons here pushing the observers up to face each other and make

One long observer chain right there like an observer clock and that system will pretty much be speeding up our lava so that it ignites our portals faster i have no idea who found out that mechanic but yeah it’s a very useful mechanic but i did learn it from navy nexus so i will

Link his channel in the description you guys should check him out he’s an amazing technical bedrock youtuber but so when we hit this button you can kind of see that going on right here you see the water spitting out and going back and the observers are facing each other

With that sticky piston extended very cool very nice and actually relatively easy to set up now setting up these trident killers they’re pretty easy you just have a a glass tube with a one block center right here on this block that’ll be our killing platform and we’ll where we will have our trident

And then one side we’ve got a piston facing it we’ll hop down here and place an observer facing down then we’re going to slap a redstone torch on this side of the block right there with a block right on top of the redstone torch and another torch right here

And as you can see i’ve got it locked down below with a redstone torch down here so pretty much that will keep the system all the way locked the observer won’t be able to detect anything updating but then once we hit this button here it will unlock that redstone torch which will allow

This one to turn off the piston will retract observer will detect that and it’ll pretty much create an infinite loop like so now the next thing that we’re gonna do is go ahead and set up the system just like that except over on this side so we down below we have like

A redstone torch tower that’s coming up and then i’m just kind of sneaking the redstone over here to get it close to the portals yep so i’m gonna continue this redstone torch tower just like we have until it gets about to this height here that’s the same height that the

Other one is at all the way over there then i’ve got a block and redstone a sticky piston on the side of that redstone and a redstone block right here then a block goes under the sticky piston like that and yeah we need a block right there with

Some redstone dust here as well there we go go ahead and remove that temporary block and now pretty much what will happen is if this redstone gets powered off there we go we get a fast redstone clock and then we can place a couple of blocks here with repeaters like that and before

Those repeaters are down it’s kind of easier to go ahead and place in our dispensers because dispensers they need to face towards the portals just like that yeah you can see the hole is facing towards the portal and that will actually extinguish our portal then we can place these repeaters in

Like so and pop in a couple of water buckets then i’ll need to go up a couple more blocks just like that i believe that is actually as high as we’ll need to go and i’m gonna wrap this all the way around and place redstone dust on all of these blocks

Then we’ll have a sticky piston off to the side facing up with an observer right here and i’m going to go ahead and build out the observer chains on both sides and now that this is all the way filled out with observers and trap doors i guess i need to get some lava

All right let’s go over the nether i got a bunch of shulker boxes and some lava buckets all right it has been a couple of days now and i got everything all finished everything is all completed as you can tell we’re now at level 99 on the level

Bar almost to level 100 and we are gonna get to level 100 in just a moment but first i wanted to share with you guys that i had switched a couple of things around with the redstone like this system right here i moved it from way up

There down to ground level right here and that just helps with these dispensers that are shooting out the water buckets uh it helps it because every now and again with the immense amount of lag and i mean seriously man we were getting an immense amount of lag for some of this i

Don’t know if it was the xp orbs or the entities or i also had some problems with the uh item sorting system so there was a lot of hurdles to tackle on this one but we were getting a decent amount of water spillage when it was up there

And it was just taking forever for one blade of water to make it all the way down and then disappear on the portal block down there so i found that moving it right here actually helps a lot keeping it contained because these trapdoors on the opposite side of the dispenser

Really keep it contained so it just drops only a few blocks and then it’s done and we will go over to the item sorter as i said i had to change some things around so we had all of these blocks behind the comparators as blue ice and it was

Running straight down so that we could align it on this edge right here and run it next to the hoppers but for some reason the hoppers just whoa that was weird but for some reason the hoppers were just not picking up the items so i don’t know

What the deal was but now i’ve got it to where i align it on the opposite side of the hoppers and it runs over on this side just barely on the edge so they don’t get stuck in the center of the hoppers and now it gets picked up just fine no

No issues these honey blocks here though man they they’re kind of annoying me i think i want to try it sounds kind of crazy but i think i want to try and switch it out for cake and see if that works i don’t know if that’ll actually work yeah i think that

Might be less than i i don’t know we’ll have to just test it out and see the reason i want to switch it out for cake is because if you’re back far enough you can barely see the honey blocks peeking over the top of those half slabs and cakes since

They’re only half a block i figured that it would probably actually work out just fine like that and uh we wouldn’t be able to see them from back here and also they would probably s if i ate one slice of it i think it would still be small

Enough to align the items or maybe i don’t even have to eat a slice of it we’ll see but yeah you guys can tell that it’s you can probably tell it’s been a while because all of our copper up there is fully oxidized all of the ribs on there fully oxidized

And even over here we’re getting some copper that’s starting to oxidize and it’s it’s going to look really cool once it’s all the way that turquoise color now real quick let’s go and check out this redstone room because man it has started looking crazy so we’ve got

All sorts of stuff going on in here i got a couple of t flip-flops one for each of the buttons and this one in particular controls our trident killer the redstone runs over here and unlocks all of these redstone torches then this guy right here uh actually does this little loop it

Goes to the comparator right there and then there’s a redstone dust on top of this block that gets powered and then the repeater gets powered switches off the torch and allows for all of this redstone to become unlocked and it actually powers up these portal killers over here so we can start taking

The portals and getting it to where we spawn massive amounts of pigmen so let’s go ahead and see we click that the light should stay on that’s how we know it’s working and you can see we’ve got the observers all running over there very nice yeah so i’m trying to catch it

In action here yeah there you go you see how we get sometimes we get those little blades of water that float down to the bottom of the portal that’s what was happening except it was happening all the way up there and it was taking forever to drip it all the way down to

The bottom before the portal would actually ignite again oh my god we need to turn these on now i’ll back away to preserve our hearing and yeah you can see behind me all those pigmen are getting just mauled by the trident killers back there very nice very nice indeed now let’s get

To level 100 that was a lot quicker than i thought it would be i just had to step in there for just a second and you can see down here that we get the big pile up of pigment they start coming down they come over here shoot up

The tubes and we get a big line of them and on this side same thing happens except it shoots up this tube and drops straight back down into a trident killer so now if we head up here oh yeah we could let’s get get away so we don’t pick up

All the items we can see that it’s not it’s not the fastest thing in the world but it does work it gets it gets our items sorted and it burns the gold swords and that’s that’s all i’m hoping for and before you let me know in the

Comments section yes i do know that i could totally smelt those gold swords but why why why has anybody actually ever done that it’s so much effort and so much fuel for such little little yield i think you get like one nugget for each sword it’s just not worth it and as you

Can see we’re getting a lot of gold so the pikmin they do do a 15 block drop right there onto the killing platform maybe it’s a 14 block drop because i didn’t take into account that extra block of height but regardless they do like a 14 block drop

So they’re like a they’re like a two hit kill with the impaling five trident i could have went taller but i’ve got plans for this building and i just that middle section i don’t think it’s i don’t think it’s that tall so i didn’t want to drop it from from uh 20 blocks

Or anything and from probably less than an hour of total tested time and that’s when i was i burned at least and i mean at least like 200 ingots of gold maybe even more just trying to figure out why i was getting so much lag and my sorter wasn’t

Working oh my god it was a nightmare everything was pouring straight into the fire and getting burned but i would still say that that paid off rather well as a matter of fact because uh i’m gonna be using gold as my primary block for the beacons and stuff like that over

Here and there’s some more iron that we can go ahead and put back in the reserves after i took it from this beacon so pretty good yeah this this stuff has now become pretty much worthless because with the next few big projects i’ve got in mind oh man i’m gonna be

Needing a lot of stuff repaired constantly so i mean we will probably have plenty of time to break in this gold farm i don’t know how much afk i’m gonna be doing at it uh i don’t particularly have that much time to play minecraft to be just sitting at gold farms for hours

But you know we’ll see what we can do we’ll see how much gold that we can go ahead and produce in this thing now one thing i did happen to see though is there is a potential that we will lose our tridents if i unload the chunks or

Whatever while the tridents are sitting there i don’t know i saw it in one of silence videos so a link to his channel will be in the description if i remember but yeah let’s go ahead and pick up all these tridents and put them in the barrel just so they don’t they don’t

Despawn all right i trapped a couple of chickens and i got enough eggs yeah there’s another egg down there i got enough eggs to make three cakes and i went ahead and made them and placed them in let’s see if this actually works as a functional sorting thing

Oh it appears that it’s working the same oh dude that’s so nice good old cake one of the best redstone components there is and from back here you can still see the fire over there but to be quite honest i kind of like that detail i like i like

Being able to see that blue flame peek over the edge like that but yeah there’s no more honey blocks on this side that’s scaffolding over there if you can see that all right i got enough eggs to make my final three cake so let’s go

Alright so now i should be able to just swap these three blocks out with some cake blocks and we will be good yeah and it looks like since the cake is smaller than one block that’s the reason why we won’t even need to be eating a

Slice out of the cake in fact if we did eat a slice there’s a very good chance that it would miss the hoppers entirely so there we go that is the gold farm all the way completed you know except for aesthetics obviously i’m not going to be

Leaving it like this but i might i might for an episode or two i’m not sure i don’t i don’t want to see this place for a while after the amount that i’ve worked on it i know it doesn’t seem like it but this episode has been
