Rockit14 – Minecraft Create Mod Tutorial – Concrete Generator Ep 37

Hey everyone and welcome back to episode 36 of my create mod series now today i’m going to show you on how to make an automated concrete farm if you enjoyed this video feel free to like and subscribe as i make a ton of create mod content

And you are not going to want to miss it now uh let’s start out by going over all the items you’re gonna need for this tutorial uh there’s some things i really want to cover very quickly uh all of these water buckets you don’t need that many water buckets i’m putting

Them in there because i have them in a create world just make an infinite power or infinite water source and then just use that you don’t need this many water buckets uh the lava buckets though you are gonna need at least two sources of lava so you are gonna need those buckets uh

Everything else is gonna be listed in the description um the dye is up to you depending on what color you would like your concrete to become that’s the only side i’m not going to automate because depending on the color of concrete that you would like depends on how you would automate that die

But everything else will be automated so let’s go over how concrete is made and then how we’re gonna go about automating this whole process so for an example we’re gonna use the light blue concrete that i’m gonna be making in this video and you can see that to make light blue

Concrete you simply wash uh concrete powder so concrete powder uh is made in a couple different ways but the way that we’re gonna care about is gonna be our mixer and our basin and all it takes is some type of dye for sand and for gravel now if you’ve watched a couple of

My episodes in the past you probably know that we are able to automate sand and gravel so uh let’s just uh start easy so how do we make gravel gravel is simply cobblestone into a millstone or cobblestone into a crushing wheel and it turns into gravel nice and

Easy and of course you know just vanilla minecraft you can make cobblestone generators to simply take cobblestone and make it into infinite gravel and then sand is a little bit more complex in the sense that it takes gravel inside of a crushing wheel and it creates sand and has a chance to

Make flint and clay balls so all we’re going to do is just simply filter out the unknown items that we don’t care about and take the sand and it’s going to be the same exact process so without further ado let’s grab all these items and we can get started

All right so just like most of my videos you could probably see that there’s a bunch of stuff that’s pre-built don’t worry about that you don’t need any of that built to start this tutorial you just have to find like a flat piece of area uh to basically make this build so

Uh let’s go ahead and just start in the center and then as i get to these sections i’ll explain what i’m building in that area and you’ll kind of see as we’re building it so uh all you need is to pick like a center point and we’re gonna start kind of in

The middle of this machine design we’re gonna start where we have our mixer taking our concrete sand and turning it into regular concrete uh and all we have to do is simply grab our basin place it down grab our mixer and place it down on top of there so theoretically

We’re gonna have all of our items go into this basin be mixed and then we need a way to output it so we’re gonna just grab some shafts and we’re gonna grab some mechanical belts and we’re gonna go diagonal down place down two shafts let’s just go ahead and

Fix this one there we go place down our mechanical belts and you can see it automatically has an output section so once something gets mixed on this mixer it will output onto this mechanical belt now what we have to do is if you remember correctly

Once we have our sand we now need to wash it so we’re just going to simply grab a depot and place a diagonal upwards we’ll grab an andesite funnel and place it off of there so the items get picked off off the belt go on to a depot and then once they get

Washed we’re just going to put down two uh two shafts grab a mechanical belt like that on there and then we can grab a um let’s grab a brass funnel for now and we’re going to click one brass funnel onto here which we’re going to eventually have to set as a filter

But we’ll do that towards the end of this video and then over here we’re going to go ahead and place down a double chest and place down an andesite funnel onto here so we have our items coming out of the mixer going on the belt going onto the

Depot where they’re going to get washed going down basically through this brass funnel once it detects its regular concrete and then going into this chest over here so uh one thing that we do have to do really quickly is we need to take an encased fan if i can find it

We’re gonna place it and use our wrench to rotate it so it’s facing towards this depot and we can take a water bucket and place it right here so now once all this is powered up it’ll wash it and place it into our chest so while we’re working over in

This area we might as well just build up the section where we’re gonna put our die in so all we have to do is go to the other side of this basin we’re gonna grab our shafts place down one place down two we’re gonna go ahead and grab our mechanical belts and

Hook these guys up just like that we’re going to grab one chest because we don’t really need that much dye to hold on to and place it right against the belt we could throw our die inside and then we’re just going to grab andesite funnels and place one on there

And one on there so now this once this is powered up it’ll pull our die and place it into the basin so now you probably remember the last things that we need is gravel and sand which we’re going to auto generate so we’re going to go towards

The section on this side to go ahead and work on our gravel generation first it’s a little bit easier than the sand one so let’s go ahead and do our same thing with the belts so we’ll grab our shafts we’ll grab our mechanical belts we’ll just place down two shot

Or two shafts connect our mechanical belts place down a millstone diagonally because remember we’re going to take our cobblestone from our cobblestone generator generate it out get put or place it into the mill stone have it milled into gravel placed on a belt and then we’re going to output into our basin so

All we have to do here is we need to grab our andesite funnels place one on the basin place one on the millstone and then over here we can place down one shaft right click on here and we’re gonna go one two three four five six blocks out

And place on another shaft and connect it and you’ll see why we’re doing that in a second all right so before we forget we’re also going to place an andesite funnel onto this millstone so the items get picked off off the belt and placed into the millstone

And now we’re going to work on a cobblestone generator and you can see i have all of this glass that’s placed here and all this is going to do is hold our lava and water in place so even if you don’t have the glass built just kind of pay attention to

Where i’m placing blocks so these last three uh basically blocks of the mechanical belts uh we have to go ahead and build our water sources and our drills so let’s grab our drills first and we’re gonna place down uh one drill two drill three drills and then we just gotta rotate these guys

Uh if i can place them correctly there we go place just like this so that they’re aiming towards the belt and then on the other side we’re going to go ahead and grab cobblestone stairs we’re going to place one right across from this drill and then on the sides we’re gonna place

Them so they do the the kind of elbow l shape right here uh and then after that we can just grab some water buckets and we’re gonna place water inside all of these stairs so it kind of water logs our buckets for us uh and then once we do that all we have

To do is go diagonal up and place down a single lava bucket right into the center and it will start creating stone just like so which will eventually once we power the system actually start turning this into cobblestone it’ll fall into the belt and then go into our system all right so

Now that we have our dye that’s going into our machine we have a way of outputting it and we are generating our gravel the last thing we have to do is generate our sand so i’ve gone to the opposite side of this basin and we’re just going to work backwards

Once again so the first thing we’re going to do is place down a shaft we’re going to connect our mechanical belt and then we’re going to go one two three four five six seven eight blocks out placed on another shaft and connect that with a mechanical belt

Now uh before we continue with the cobblestone generator and things like that i want to uh basically address a couple two things so what we’re gonna do is from this last shaft we’re going to go one two three four and place down a shaft inside of this mechanical belt

Then take two vertical gearboxes uh if i can find those right there and place one on either side now if you are using the most recent create update this will work if you are not this is not going to work because the newest update allows you to take these crushing wheels

And place them like this on a belt and it will actually crush items on the belt if you are not in the newest update you won’t be able to do this version of the crushing wheels all you need to do is pull the items up and drop them

Through a crushing wheel and land them onto a belt that’s all you have to do but if you’re using the newest version just simply place them like this saves a ton of space and items but i figure addressing that’s a good idea now let’s go quickly look at how we’re

Making sand again so when we go ahead and throw gravel through our crushing wheels which is what we’re doing we make sand but we also have a chance of making flint and clay balls and that’s where we can run into some issues so we’re just going to simply grab a

Brass funnel and set it up so it auto pulls these items off that we don’t care about so we’re just going to go back two blocks out place down a chest place down another chest place down a brass funnel and then use our wrench so the arrow is facing towards the chest

Now i also have a filter in here which we’re going to go ahead and right click and if you have just enough items you can actually use the just enough item system to set the filter for this which is what we’re gonna do uh if you do not just simply grab a

Piece of sand that’s all you need but i’m gonna use this just enough items mod just to help us out so if we just click and drag sand into our filter uh right now it’s going to only accept sand to put it into the chest and we don’t want that we want

It to be the opposite so we’re going to click on the deny list so what this is doing is it’s going to pull off everything from the belt and put it into the chest except sand and that’s what we’re looking for we only want sand to stay

Onto the belt so we’ll just place that filter onto this brass funnel and it’ll now just pull off all the odds and ends throw them into this chest you can also have this so it gets pulled off thrown in lava or something like that i’m just putting in a chest because

I don’t care for these items and kind of leaving it up to you guys just case you want to use those items so once we’ve done that we can actually work backwards so we can get to our cobblestone generator and it’s going to be the same process

We’re going to grab a millstone and place it diagonal upwards we’re going to grab an andesite funnel and place it off of this millstone diagonal down we’re gonna place down one shaft we’re gonna connect a mechanical belt and we’re gonna go one two three four five six blocks out

Another shaft mechanical belt and then we’ll place an andesite funnel onto this millstone and then i realized i also forgot to place one onto this basin as well so it pulls the items off the belt all right so next thing we have to do is we have to build the exact same

Cobblestone generator so on one side we’re gonna have the drills and then the other side we’re gonna have the stairs so let’s go ahead and fight with these drills now uh we just gotta place them just like this there we go so we have all three drills

Aiming at the belts and then we just gotta go on to uh the opposite side and place down some cobblestone stairs so we’ll place down one and then place down the other ones with the elbows and place our water buckets inside of here just like so and then we’ll place our

Lava bucket in the center on top so it starts creating some stone all right so we’ve got the machine all built but we don’t have it up and running because we have not made any type of power sources now i’m going to run two different types of power to power the system

One is specifically going to be used for the mixer so we can adjust the speed and the other one is going to be built for all of the other contraptions including the crushing wheels the drills the belts everything else now uh you could do your own power

Source or you could just copy what i’m looking for all those items were already located in the chests and in the description so we’re just going to start off in the drills uh all the way right in the beginning and this is where we’re creating our gravel so

All we have to do is look at these drills go down one block and then connected to our mechanical belt we’re gonna place down a shaft grab cogwheels place down one two three and then four so this once we have power going in it’ll power the belt and

All of these drills now we’re just gonna go out in place one two three shafts or excuse me four shafts just like this we’re gonna grab a rotational speed controller and place that down we’re gonna turn this value to negative 16 using our scroll wheel and we’re going to place a large cog

Wheel on top of that so it connects so all we have to do now is just create the power for this so we’ll just hop into my little area that i’ve built and in here i have a bunch of different blocks uh for basically six water wheels in our nice design that

We’ve used a hundred different times so all we have to do is grab our water wheels and we’re gonna place them down one two three four five six you’re gonna have an extra one so don’t panic and then we simply have to place down our water all right

So we have our water all up and running with all of our water wheels moving uh make sure that the water wheels replaced with the spokes facing towards the drills that’ll make it so everything is moving in the correct direction and if you’ve done it correctly you’ll

See it’s starting to mine and being placed into a millstone so let’s go ahead and power our millstone up by just placing one gearbox a regular gearbox off of this mechanical belt grabbing a vertical gearbox placing it off of that gearbox and placing a cog wheel on top to power this millstone

Then we can also just grab a regular gearbox and place it against here to power this mechanical belt and place his shaft if i can place it correctly just like so to start pulling our die into the basin as well so now we have our gravel and our die going into the basin

So let’s work on outputting even though we don’t have our sand up and running so to do that all we’re gonna do is look down below this uh this depot we’re gonna take in case chain drives in place down three uh just place them so that they’re all aiming in the correct direction

And we’re gonna grab two gear boxes and place them like so so it’ll pull power from this belt and place it into this belt and this belt to have this powered so now we’re just gonna hop over to the opposite side and place down a single gearbox onto this mechanical belt which

Now powers the mechanical belts and the crushing wheels just like so and then we’re gonna do something a little interesting by taking a shaft off of this vertical gearbox of this crushing wheel taking in a case chain drive and placing one and then twisting our power source to face it in this direction

With a shaft to power our um power encased fan as well now if we go over here we can do the same exact design we did previously with one gearbox a vertical gearbox cog wheel and a regular gearbox and this powers now this mechanical belt this millstone and pulling the power

From this mechanical belt and then over here we’ll do exactly the same design again by placing a shaft um connected to the mechanical belt and then one two three four cog wheels to power our drills as well so there we go we got everything generating the one thing that we’re missing

Is our mechanical mixer so what we’re going to do for him is going to be a little bit unique so what i’ve done is built a little area where i’m going to have a water wheel so let me build backwards so you guys don’t struggle too too much and we’re

Going to place down a cog wheel against this mechanical mixer a vertical gearbox underneath of that place down one two three four shafts a rotational speed controller set to the value of 16 rpms or 16 rpms and then a large cog wheel on top of that so that connects

And then all we have to do is grab our water wheel and our water bucket and we’ll place him and so just like that so there we go we now have our mixer up and running or excuse me i set the rpms in correctly we’re going to taint or turn this all

The way up to 48 rpms so that we don’t have the speed requirement error anymore and then once all these items go ahead and get placed into the basin it’ll start turning into concrete there we go so we got it mixing you can see it just turned into a bunch of sand

We’re gonna already see it’s washing or excuse me we’ve actually screwed this up a little bit we’re gonna take this uh brass funnel off because we never actually set this filter which i forgot about so i’m glad i caught this on the screen so we’re gonna let it wash until it

Turns into whatever concrete that we’re looking for then we’re gonna place our brass funnel and place our concrete uh as the filter onto this brass funnel then you can just take the rest of this light blue concrete powder and just put it back on the belt so now it’s set to the filter

So it will wash before actually getting placed into the chest and just to show that other things are up and running onto here if we go over here we’re filtering out our unknown items you can see right now we’ve gathered flint and you can see that if it’s getting

Sand the sand is going through you can see that this is our chest that we put our die in so whatever die you would like you just place in there and it’ll auto turn into our concrete that we’re looking for so that means that our machine is
