RonnygoBOOM – 15 EASY PVP TRAPS and INVENTIONS THAT SHOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE! W/Ghost Blocks IN MINECRAFT 1.8

Hey this is Ronnie go boom and today I have something really crazy to show you I have over 15 trap inventions some of them are traps some of them are just cool inventions that have to do with ghosts blocks this guy named Red Lobster introduced me to the idea he’s come up

With some awesome videos you can check the links in the description if you want to learn more about them but man there are so many cool things that you can do with these this is going to be like the next 15 videos that I do about traps are

Going to include Ghost Box because these things are amazing so the whole point of a trap is to trick someone into doing something that they don’t understand or to trick somebody into thinking they can do something when they can’t and ghost blocks are an amazing way to do it

Because it’s undetectable until you’re it’s already too late so so let’s start off by showing you how to build this contraption and what it actually is so we’re going to start out by with a 3×3 platform we’re just going to place blocks just like this the other blocks

Are unnecessary if you wanted to take these out but no big deal so next we’re going to place down a button a redstone torch redstone a repeater on two ticks or repeater on one tick facing this way we’re going to have a sticky piston another sticky piston and right here

Holding shift you’re going to place a piston facing upward and that’s about it except for this slime block right here then you all you have to do is click this button and this block will turn into a ghost block what’s happening is these pistons are trying to move the

Same block at the same time and this helps with the updating and whatever block is in this position will get moved out now this doesn’t work with a slime block for example but if you wanted to make a ghost slime block all you have to

Do is put it like this so this block right here is not really there all I have to do is right-click on it and it disappears and it turns back into the actual block that it is this block isn’t really there and I right-click on it and it completely disappears but

As you can see there are already some really really cool things we can do with this so these blocks appear to be there but in reality they’re not so let’s take a look at some of the nuances and some of the interesting things with the way that players can interact with these and

The way that the server thinks the player interacts with these so for example and or pearls go right through it so let’s take a look at this enter pearls don’t even recognize these as these as blocks you literally go right through it as if it wasn’t even there

Same thing with arrows and entities creepers things like that since these don’t really exist we can do some really cool things with it and you can disguise blocks as other blocks so for example this is a slime block if you remember but it looks like a cyan block and we’ll

Get into some really cool things with that so the first trap that I’d like to show you I have a pit here in actuality this pit goes all the way down deep deep deep to a hopper however when the redstone is activated I can make it look like

There’s a slime block there so in game-mode 0 a player would jump down on this and die because in actuality there isn’t really a slime block there they would be falling to their death the coolest thing is that a lot of the items get picked up by the hopper too and if

You keep this in a single straight channel they will all fall down there because the player dies here but there’s actually no block to hold it back so all the loot will fall down to the bottom another really cool thing that we can do with this is rearrange the blocks so

That it looks like there’s a in actuality there’s a slime block there right now there’s no ghost box however if we hit this we move it and now it doesn’t look like there’s a slime block or any block whatsoever but if we go down there there is an

Actual block here and it kind of glitches us until we have to move and I have a lot of other really cool things to show you so we can move multiple blocks on multiple levels with this invention I’ll show that in the next one as well right here we can make

It look like there is no floor so right now we have water flowing into some hoppers I didn’t put the hoppers there but let’s pretend to go into hoppers there’s a little pit here it looks like you can fall safely but then you’ll be stuck in there there’s no way out see

Down here you just can’t get out so what we do is we employ ghost blocks we’ll hit this button couple more times because we might want to move those blocks out of the way and now we can jump all the way through there are no blocks there or so it appears in reality

They’re still blocks here all you have to do is log out and log back in and those blocks are here and you are in actuality stuck all you need to do to make sure that the player can’t get out in any way is just place some string up

Here so they can’t enderpearl out simple all right here’s the next one this is pretty cool it’s a wall in actuality but after we ghost the blocks away it appears like there’s no wall we can parkour into it oh but there is actually a wall there so we fall to our death or

Into water we can’t actually get in same thing with an enderpearl there’s a block there so it looks like we can throw an ender pearl through but we actually can’t and that’s my idea for this next trap right here so we’re in a faction base we can see outside I want to escape

Though I can’t break these blocks because it’s not my faction so we go over here this could be a wooden button or a button that anyone can push I want to escape so I hit the button wall opens up game-mode 0 throw my ender pearl Oh but it doesn’t go through because

There’s actually a block there and I go down and I fall to my death oh here’s I haven’t come up with a reason why I made this but it is a machine so it’s dark inside daylight sensor is off can’t see anything however we can go slok this block away by

Pushing it with a slime block so move over one and the slime block grabs this block move it over again and the slime block moves the block to allow light to go down here however that block is really there it’s still there it just doesn’t appear that it’s there and

Because it doesn’t appear that it’s there it appears that this room is well lit however you can tell with the daylight sensor that it’s still not lit so we’re making a room look lit when it’s actually not and we can do the opposite as well it’s actually lit

Inside however we can make it appear unlit with the ghost blocks so it’s actually lit in here there is glowstone on the light level in this room is appears to be zero however if I were to put a daylight sensor in here it would detect the light here’s another weird

Thing this is a straight strength beacon I can use ghost blocks to cover up that beacon and the torch light of the begin will turn off but not the potion effects as you’ll see my strengths on the side will refresh and it went back to eight

So the beacon effect is still going off but you can hide your beacons with this I think that’s pretty cool you can I put it down here a little more but the opposite is true as well you can make it so that beacons that are off that give no effects

Show their light even though they’re actually covered up okay next we can make TNT touch redstone blocks without it exploding yeah it it is really cool I’m going to make a little bit of a glow slok floor here so this floor is sticking out these blocks are not really

Here however we can try to blow them up I’ve made this tower tall I experimented to make sure that the TNT blows up exactly right here so tanti came down it did not blow up those blocks however if they were real blocks for example slime blocks they would surely blow up

Alright here’s another interesting thing I want to show you how fall damage works with ghost blocks so another concept as well as that sand can float in midair so if I were to fall on water I would take no fall damage if I were to fall on

Slimes I would take no fall damage however with the ghost block there okay so remember this slimes are actually right here and this block right here is actually water so and you can tell that by the particles that are emitted so I’m gonna fly up and I’m going to show you

That even though it looks like I’m landing on sand I land on slime blocks and take no fall damage however right here for whatever reason I fly way up here and even though it looks like I’m falling on sand it’s actually water but

I still die oh this is a way to get rid of ghost blocks if you move ghost blocks with a piston so for example it looks like there’s a ghost block in here and there is we can stand on it but if we wanted to get rid of that ghost block

Since it’s not really here I could either right-click on it or I can add this button and pistons can pull it out from underneath ghost block secret entrance I already showed you the beacons ghost blocks can move blocks underneath a pressure plate so it appears that the pressure plate is on

Nothing it still activates next oh this one’s a cool machine this machine will make a wall I’m just gonna turn it on because it takes a little bit a little while but it makes an entire wall out of ghost blocks as that’s going and making the wall I’ll show you this

One last thing this is the coolest thing I have made in the whole system so we’re going to get some feather falling boots on because I’m going to show you how you can make a crazy launcher using ghost blocks so we’re gonna put a ghost slime

Block in here the slime block is not actually really there so the game thinks that you’re falling through to the bottom of this all the way to the bottom which is a little bit more than you actually think you’re falling because of the discrepancy the difference between

What your game thinks is going on and what the server thinks is going on we see something really interesting so I’m going to go into game-mode 0 and show you what happens when you jump onto a slime block bounce first time normal bounce second time way high

Third time really high and this time I’m gonna take enough fall damage to kill me but I would just keep going higher and higher and higher um if you do it too many times it’ll kick you for flying but as you’ll see in my next trap video

That’s an okay thing kicking for flying is not always a terrible idea because I real acht my tower got reset but man this is so fun to mess around with all my stuff is down here as you would expect because I actually died right here at this spot so all that stuff

Falls down at the bottom you can collect it with a hopper the only way to prevent this damage is to hold shift while falling holding spacebar while falling does not prevent that fall damage um but if you’re wearing feather falling boots and you want to boost yourself really

High there is a way to do it for example if you wanted to get like at Y level 255 and make this machine at Y level 255 jump down on it you’ll get boosted you’ll get boosted again and then pull out your light row and fly away

So you know I haven’t tested this in 1.9 I’m running 1.8 right now one point eight point eight I have yet to test this in 1.9 so this wall appears to be here these blocks came from nowhere you cannot walk through them or fly through

Them in survival you can walk on top of them you can make like a fake bridge this way but arrows don’t actually hit it thinks it hits for a second and then it goes right through I’ll show you by hitting this side thinks it hits but

Then it actually ends up right here so let’s get a creeper out show you what happens with that falls right through you can make a fake ceiling with this you could make it appear like it’s light in a room with a mob spawner and the mobs can literally fall right through the ceiling

Into lava you can make people walk in fire even though they don’t think they are you can make them walk over oh man you can make them die from fall damage when they think they’re just walking on regular land it’s so cool I found a way
