SacredLotusMC – Let’s play minecraft, never have i ever, learnt potion brewing episode 7

Aloha my friends welcome back to my minecraft channel my name is sacred lotus and welcome back to another episode of let’s play minecraft never have i ever today we before we get into today’s uh video i want to show you the progress on our iron farm it has i’ve already collected a little

A stack of stack and a half from this already but we are getting a steady flow of iron we are getting a nice steady flow of iron up there so we won’t have to worry about having to replenish our tools for that for that much

Also um because i took some time i took a bit of time off making videos and while i was doing my stream marathon over on twitch and so i i’m well rested back back to it but we i finished the construction on the house and i am really quite pleased at how it

Turned out i did make some alterations to the front front here to the stripes and and i took down the roof i had on before rebuilt it because i wasn’t 100 happy and i shortened the windows at the top there and just so it uh worked a bit better

And i don’t think you’ll be able to see it from the back but i also added some small windows up at the top see that little gap there of the uh bit of the roof there’s like little windows in the attic area which is pretty cool it’s technically

A one two including the basement levels there’s one two three and like five levels to this house um because you include the basement don’t you say so anyway this is the kitchen all nicely furnished they’ve put in the fireplaces with the nice granite half with a uh fire guard and we’ve got

A sink got a cauldron of sinks and obviously we got the family got the family room the family is not fully furnished yet um but it is finished there’s no gaps in the windows and um yeah so let’s see show you the upstairs and we’ve got a little

Corridor here and you come into quite high ceiling thing i haven’t put any doors on yet but i did um put beds in here just because you know it’s the bedroom and it’s like one uh master bedroom i guess like a very large bedroom and we’ve got a twin room here

And also the attic room which is up here which is quite spacious um so yeah that’s the uh tour of the house it’s done um hey guys so i’ve got out my journal and adventure book and uh i’ve written up a to-do list for today episode 7 never have i ever learned

Potion brewing i actually haven’t actually gone anywhere near potions mainly cuz a majority of the task in order to get potions on the go is involving nether trips which i don’t do that often um but here we have it we gotta go find another fortress because for majority of potions we need netherwart

In order to make them work for for the solution and we’ll also need blaze rods for the potion stands and we’re also gonna gather up a various amounts of um potion ingredients um little bit of an extensive list and obviously by the by the end of the video i’m

Hoping we can brew up at least a small batch of our first potions um i’m hoping this won’t take too long um but we’ll have to have to see what happens um i’m not gonna lie i’m a little bit nervous about this one because i i’ve never paid many visits to nether

Fortresses before and i’ve noticed like each episode we’re continuing to return to the nether for one thing or another so i guess we’re slowly ticking off all the things i haven’t done in the nether with some of these tasks so um at least probably won’t have to revisit them again

Um but that doesn’t mean that limit that means we probably won’t have that doesn’t mean we’ll never have to go back to the level because the never’s uh apparently keeps drawing you back in um um let me get myself sorted and we can prepare for a little adventure in the dark scary nether

Yeah not looking forward to this i’m a bit nervous okay guys we are right outside the nether portal we’re going through and the one i made over in that direction at my face um it spawns right in the middle of the crimson forest i don’t fancy fighting my way through hoglands today

So i’m just gonna set our spawn here got all the stuff i’ve got all the stuff i need i’ve got food got torches got some and um i’ve got a crafting branch just in case so we’re going to get to it yes let’s go guys deep breath but remember

Remember don’t be scared it’s funny it’s not just too many breadcrumbs at once i guess and using some tricks i uh seen watching a vault hunters and stream with round dog handy let’s see what we can see A huge lava ocean see what i can see from here see was that against a spider might have been let’s see what we can see from this direction mildly scared mildly nervous let’s make a staircase going up here um very open up here go away

I’m gonna have to do a bit of uh bleeping and cutting out there apologies guys uh yeah there is always some access that’s gonna happen uh let’s hold in not keen on going through the crimson forest so let’s find a different direction does this take us to nowhere special

Let’s go back the way we came and see if we can find another direction and there goes the first pickaxe we may end up having to go back for more tools i should have brought some extra iron so do make sure we mark our direction and this way so

I’m wondering if it might be good idea to turn off the fog and in this case so i can actually see where i’m at with things because i have seen on other people’s videos that the fog does clear the vision a bit so i’m gonna quickly um do that

Might feel like cheesy cheating but it’s not in my eyes it’s just strategic so be right back guys okay guys i’ve just turned the fog right the way off and oh my goodness what a difference there’s a bastion over there is that bastion i think that’s a bastion um Might be able to find some netherwart there but i’m super nervous about coming across the hogland pickling brute things but maybe our only option for the minute um so we’ll keep doing oh we have dug our way around the um lava pool we found earlier

Um after we we saw this structure in the distance it turns out to be a bastion so i’m thinking we pay the peas a little bit a little bit i’m only going to go in there for nether wart i’m not going in for anything else because i really don’t want um too much

Trouble from the piglets and i didn’t want to have to deal with the piglets yet but it can’t be helped and the breaking tools um to see it how does one get down it’s quite a way it’s down actually hi maola uh recording for a video so uh i won’t be

Talking too much so hello i say hello uh now um this is a little bit once we get the nether what we can um go back on and and do something else for a bit because i still need to look for a another fortress because it’s as far as

I’m aware the only f on the um place to where find blazes which i’m partly glad about but you’d think they’d have like a natural world a natural habit a more natural habitat for the um places and literally they technically are an animal in the game it’s like you know a blaze jungle

Or something i mean you got to be careful what you wish for in minecraft these days because you might just get it but um it would be interesting to see i always think with like a zoo biologist head when i think of like mobs in minecraft like

Hmm this per this creature is like a predator or something they need like a proper environment to live in they don’t just um i think he make sure we mark our way and i’m whispering again i’ve been doing that a lot today just randomly whispering as if i’m supposed to be sneaky and

That they can’t hear me why that why that what did it do it’s a staircase how convenient don’t mind me mr piggies don’t mind me i’m just here for a visit i’m here to give flowers because i’ve been whispering in the nether in case the monsters hear me i don’t know why

It’s like who’s going to not who’s going to hear you okay take it nice and slowly the wiki said these set up those were the days achievement nice oh yes now i just want another one that’s all i want how do i get down there um please oh oh geez that

That gave me such a price hi hi do they collectively um attack you when you attack one are they like the zombie picklings Hi guys no i just want the the mushroom masala mushrooms okay do you think they will take the deal um how does one get across without getting shot cautiously no brutes hi hmm i think of how to get across i have to do it backwards

Um i don’t want to turn my back to them now i feel like they’re the type to shoot you in the back but can’t really help it hello don’t mind me i’m not here i’m not really here i’m a figment of your imagination and don’t push me into the lava

Hi i’m good me mr pig yeah um i’m kind of stuck exclude that that’s good thank you don’t open the chests don’t open the chest because they definitely will kill you i’m not going to open your chest i’m just here for that stuff Yay whoa i did not see what where my health was i’m still crouching i am such a chicken oh no i went the other way go the other way i’m whispering again No no easies ah hi which way did i come in to this place no it wasn’t this way how does one get lost so easy will they get mad if i break the black stone okay and i’m definitely okay i’m just giving myself a few frights

Okay let’s hide in this corner a second we get a health factor full oh geez okay let’s uh dump some of the rack yay we’ve got uh red dog’s favorite black i think we came from this way i can’t remember i’m all turned around i’m so glad i didn’t actually hit him there

I’m hoping i did and i don’t get why i keep whispering it’s a secret yeah last than ever except i’ve got breadcrumbs this time the added smart thing i copied when for those of you want watching this on on the youtube video wondering who i’m talking to

I’m recording this live on my on my twitch channel so if i if if i hit get weird dialogue chat is here with me to keep me company and in a scary never life i missed a step oops i missed the step shall we try that again oh geez yep yeah yeah yeah

Yeah yeah yeah Okay guys um i went back in for another run searching through the nether for another fortress and did a lot of the work off camera and check this out i think we found one and good point to note in your heads um because this files right there’s only the battle data

And now the fortresses in terms of like big structures like this um now the fortresses are made of nether brick whereas the basalt the bastion the bastion remnant is made up of black so for those of you who are not as experienced and traveling through the nether looking for certain searches like me

Then that’s a good tip to go not the only issue is is getting to it um because the other and all that so uh let me try and navigate my way around this lovely pool of lava and um we’ll see there um i’m still tired i mean i’m not as nervous

Now as i was at the start of the episode um but i’m still a little nervous because um i’ve never fought blazes and such before okay guys so i made it across the lark pool the fortress is literally right there just got to try and get up there what’s that flashing

Blue green over there in that corner sorry getting distracted by flashing pixels but i’m assuming that’s what that is pixel of some kind I’m just gonna block up this gap okay there’s some regular scalabs let’s try and get up here hopefully i can give the blazes and such the element of surprise but these are minecraft mobs we’re talking about they be non-too predictable sometimes looks like this one’s completely encased in another rack

So a safe fish for now okay put a torch down there put another one there just in case let’s get this stuff out there yeah xp won’t go a miss connect things up here oh hi don’t mind me block that bit up and that too okay another fortress here we go guys

And there we go terrible fortress achievements are quiet got two achievements in one day hopefully we’ll have add a third with the potions oh there’s a gust i just hope this isn’t um the just a diddy one and places spawn here i’ve got no arrows right there

And i forgot to bring a shield i’m wondering if i could um make it at some point i might make a um a bit more there that’s good oh thank you he missed though that’s good dog avoid him i’ve got no arrows and a bow there’s quite a few ghasts dang it

I’m a bit nervous about proceeding forward at the moment oh you just spawned excellent is your brother gone i think it might be our chance to go and we got quite a thing so let’s see i can hear roses excellent oh hi oh that’s one not one

I don’t know how many blaze rods we need for the brewing stands i want at least two lava pool let’s have a look around before we leave there’s another walk let’s go get that let’s get this stuff up now we can have too much and we’ve

We took um what we found at the bastion back to our place to start up farm but cat doesn’t hurt to have extra dairy noises too I think one is getting braver one might be getting braver hi fella ouch okay guys we are back home safe and sound now and yeah we have enough for two two of the the two broom stands that i want and i’m hoping i’ve got enough ingredients

To make at least a couple of potions i don’t know what i’ll make with the magma cream i think i can make something with it and that’s first off before we do anything else is make the stands i did check the recipe i had enough for two so

No achievement i wonder if that happens when you get okay ouch and there we go i need to get some more bottles but other than that we’re set up ready to go i think so let me put the netherrack another water in there along with the

Magma queue i’ve got some more over here somewhere nope oh yeah and okay let me review some of the ingredients we probably need for potions and i’ll get them into these bottles because that’s what these barrels are for us with all these potion ingredients so be right back guys

Okay we are ready to start brewing guys i’ve got some bottles here let’s go let’s do one set for now um because i need some another one to think at first um i think this is how it’s done put the bottle in here was worried about that i need blaze powder to um

We need blaze power to power it that’s not going to work we’re gonna have to go back aren’t we i was worried about that ah man yes can’t be helped let’s go back to that i’m gonna go quickly go back then Get some more bow stuff be right back guys okay so after a stressful couple days of trying to get the that final blaze rod i do have one i had to go through quite an ordeal to get this stuff and and so let’s get this cooking hoping one was enough

Whereas i wanna at least make another potion yep some milk questions okay that we’ve got some more good questions these these are the um base solutions for the potions um let’s go with the magma cream and i think that’s what the one we need for fire resist fire resistance oh

Let’s say loaded up nice you actually click on it and there we go that’s a persian stun i’m not going to use these today um because i spent way too long on this episode and as educational as is and i do feel slightly braver about going into the nether

The amount of um trouble i had getting stuff i would could have done without if i’m honest um so my opinion of the nether of going into the nether in general hasn’t changed i only ever want to go in there for stuff i need i don’t want to actually hang out there

For long periods of time if i have to um i’ve i’ve even wrote down my the coordinates of that um nether fortress because i do know i do think i’m gonna have to go back there at some point and because the stuff i could do with that place

Like the blaze there’s a couple of blaze born as i i noticed there and and also there’s the wither skeletons um for a few potential wither fights in the future um so i’ve gone to the trouble of um locating the overall location for that fortress it’s like somewhere in that direction like my

Pointer is pointing um so at some point i’m going to be setting up a nether portal over in that direction just so i can actually get there safely so i can get in out and home again without any hassle but anyway that is all i have time for today

This episode has gone on long enough um and i’m very much ready to see the back of this episode as much as i enjoy making videos this one was um quite stressful if i’m honest so thank you guys very much for watching and thank you so much for your patience
