preparing for like a week no you’re not uh you’re not going to get to you’re not it’s not going to go live that way see it’s even gone on it’s even gone like The the so you know when it has like this is going to happen at this it’s scheduled for this it was the right thumbnail I hit live suddenly the thumbnail changes even though it does there’s nothing in here that says that like we’re going to a crazy way to to find it and it took a While but it was fine because uh during that time mines was switching over operating systems because he couldn’t connect to the server so it’s wonderful it’s a wonderful thing uh I’m trying to make it so that I don’t accidentally hit F3 and leak the base But yeah uh uh yeah you could have dm’d me on Discord though yeah I just I don’t know I thought you were like offline so I was like I’ll just find it I had the time so it was all it’s all okay it worked out in the end though I Appreciate it man um you you really you really have like such an amazing base you know Kind of thing but um I think some of them might have had tutorial things but for Speed builds they were really I think they were like you know as high quality speed builds as you can get like Don’t know what it is so it’s easier to describe This Server as 2 2T but with rules you know you’re not allow you got to play it vanilla basically it’s basically what housemaster wants people to play the server like you know it’s like you got to play vanilla you will Get banned if you use exploits or use clients but if you do something in here I’ll give you some more food uh if you do something in vanilla I’ll give you some wood too um you’re fine as long as long as it’s not uh as long as you’re Not using cheats or exploits you’re you just play it like you would like Notch intended the game to be played you know wow okay that’s the idea um what is it you’re you’re embracing tradition are you I am embracing tradition literally that’s the whole point of the server it’s l Embrace Tradition um and then I thought because there’s another server that already exists like that that’s called s PVP except they they’ve been running since they’re like they’re like what this server wants to be essentially which is uh been running since 2011 on the same map you know um but this server This Server is even older than that like on version old uh and I thought I figured I’d just do that again just but without without hacking cuz I I did one server before a whole big deal um crazy stuff crazy stuff uh and years you’re telling Me is this is the real oldest server in Minecraft oh yes yes this is what it really is this is truly the oldest server this is the oldest version guys so this is the oldest running Minecraft server on the same version no map reset absolutely 100% no map reset nothing no Compromises no map resets oldest version at there’s no servers that are currently running that have that have a map as old as I have like none not as oh that’s not true our our boss the um novin still has an older map actually um because they have new Version though they’re on the newest version that’s true they they with the oldest map yeah um they they have the oldest map actually even even with all those caveats they they have INF Dev chunks I don’t have that oh no yeah yeah but it’s Fine back now just go back to in for a couple of days and then come back yeah yeah I’ll just about like elyt is being like kind of annoying um I think it’s quite cool though kind of idea of like you know being inspired by other people’s like videos on YouTube and you know kind creating your inspired you’re Inspire what they put forward and creating your own spin on it and your own like you Know yeah speaking of that someone did that to one of my videos I I created a a live stream when I thought Mojang was going to disable all Minecraft accounts like on the day and I said it was I made the title The Last Mojang account uh and Then somebody like ripped that title and the and the thumb and like the the title format and maybe even the thumbnail I forget and for their own like a different like their own actual video and not live stream and I was like oh I made something titled very Similar to this in the comments he said yeah I I got the idea from you and oh that’s awesome there you go Butterfly Effect isn’t it you’re like I’ll just do this live stream and little do you know like video with like 100,000 views goes in by your your creation you know you See it kind of you know manifest into something new the craziest thing about that was that I I had privated that V that live stream like like a like a week after I done it and then I I reinstated it because I was like you know this inspir Somebody yeah they give you credit though s oh no I’m going to kill them I have and it was also another circular build and circular builds are so cool they are they are but like you say technically challenging yeah because you got to the angles where do you put things um it’s Kind of nice the way they’ve done it here actually I like the it reminds me of it’s also remind me of Agy ignis if you’ve ever have you ever played m z hpl uh I did I did play m z like way back when it was uh when it started yeah I Think I think I know what you’re talking about like the big the big like the big city like the the medieval-ish city yeah yeah there’s a there’s there’s a there’s a medieval city in the right hand corner of the map all the way up North to the Right hand side and you have all these buildings and obviously it’s really dangerous as Pigman are spawning and you just kind of go around and uh loot all the house it looks similar to this but it’s really cool yeah yeah this this one’s uh it’s different to all of those But I I say it’s reminding me of many places it’s very cool I I like I like that you’re able to pull all these like like maybe Inspirations or design like things cuz I think I think part of that comes from the like older block design Right like like mind Z is a very like 2012 2013 kind of server you know it is it is it took them uh like I say they left it on the they obviously built it in like 201 and they were actually invited like to mine Con in 2011 they were on the panel I think was the yeah the first minec con was in 2011 and they were like an exclusive guest because they were like the only Network server at the time like sho. net they had like I don’t know 60 IP addresses to connect to all the different versions of mine z um and Obviously they built the map back then um and yeah if you you loog you could log off one server and log onto another one your inventory would be transferred across so you could obviously play on any like 50 of the you know Mindy us servers or EU servers and inventory be Transferred and but they had the the map was obviously like I say built in 2011 and they didn’t really start updating it they didn’t update it that much but they kind of started to revamp it now and it looks completely uh it’s completely changing I mean they’re slowly updating The cities and the it’s it’s still going still going strong mind is still going okay I was don’t know about strong but it’s still going that’s it’s crazy that because they were ahead of the game and all of that kind of like concept right and even like first mover advantage in The Minecraft scene really yeah yeah I speaking of a head of the game like in that regard I think that your like uh videos when you were coming out with the with the when you were making those base tours were like ahead of the game Because you you you in in the 2B like sense of the like ahead of the like stylistically for 2B YouTube videos cuz there I don’t think there was a single person not even not even saly one when he was first making videos was using that like that uh cinematic cameras mod For stuff I don’t think I I actually think like you’re you’re your walkth through of a base and then having that that cinematic uh thing at the end with like the music basically like a little music video of the bass that was like I think that was revolutionary I feel like That that you were like the first person to do that like because I can’t think of anyone at the remember um I I remember seeing videos on the server but like none of them like you say Incorporated the uh um you know cinematic mod uh into it I don’t think and um but to be fair there wasn’t a lot Of 2b2 YouTubers like when I was playing there wasn’t that many really doing the thing it was it was very Niche obviously you had fit Mt who was uploading his stuff and that stuff was always really really interesting and you also had like I think tooga dude was active at the Point I was doing as well so it kind of felt like me and tooga dude for a while and baron do bar was also active yeah we were always uh you know kind of uploading I think um but we never really interacted much with each Other to be fair you I mean like doing YouTube it’s all quite um you know because you’re always focused on the next video and kind of working on the next project It’s just sometimes you don’t stop to just I don’t know uh think social socialize or you know Collaborate more I think you know I think it’s something that I think I should have probably tried to do more of you know on the 2b2 scene um I do appreciate you uh uh when you reached out to do the collaboration that did bring us bring some of the 2b2 YouTubers Together you did the uh what was it history 2010 something right it was the history of 2b2 t uh 200 like a 10 to 20 11 or something like that oh man so I remember that I still have all those recordings that video is still like privated on my channel Somewhere but yeah that was that was crazy like to think cuz it was like that I don’t think I could like it would take I couldn’t do that a 12-year-old me could not do that again with like people of a similar like relevance in that Community like you just it’s like it That was like a one it’s so crazy to think how like how how small the community was like pasta had like 700 subscribers and he was every I’m pretty sure like everyone from you to tude to sal1 barom all knew who pasta was and he had 700 Subs you know well everybody Knows who everybody is that I say I knew you pasta you know fit s um tooga dude um you know one person we didn’t mention Dr zombie oh yeah yeah I made his Discord server you made his Discord server I made his Discord server because He was like I was like do you have a Discord server and he was like I’m kind of like I don’t really want to make one and I went I’ll make it for you and he was like okay great and then uh for a while I had like full admin perms like I Was the owner of the server and uh before I was like I could do anything I wanted with this I could literally do anything and then I never did anything with it and then I just was like I’ll give him the permissions properly because he had all his perms but I was Still the owner I just I I made him the owner of the server after like two years but I I don’t know um yeah that it’s it’s like it’s kind of interesting how like uh all that went down um uh pasta is asking do you remember rebel base 9 uh yeah I vaguely vaguely vaguely vaguely recall it is it like a username of a player or something it’s a it’s a YouTuber one of the YouTube yeah uh yeah I I do I need to look his channel up till I refr does he have like A rebel commander he has like a like a stormtrooper or some Star Wars like uh May can’t quite remember but he he was like a like a it’s deleted now so he’s gone um but I remember being big into into his stuff and same with pasta and Pasta was inspired by oh here’s a sign board we can put we can put stuff here so you if you would like to to sign the sign board I will I will I will sign again like it was a trick you’re banned for griefing GG luckily you can’t get banned for Griefing this is not M you’re too used to playing Minecraft online so true y uh M was here yeah uh but like rebel base 9 has kind of got a little bit of interesting lore to him or like he he’s also someone that like uh me and pasta have like Pulled inspiration from well sort of like I IND direct when um pasta used to call into his streams and he used to have open VCS on his streams okay and then um pasta ever since then has pretty much had open VCS um has had okay one second that’s a dangerous Game that the open VC on your stream especially on 2B stream exactly what whose idea who thought this was a good idea dude this is like this might be the first sign we might have placed the first signs uh in 2024 dude wow yeah let it be known in the History books you Sor here for folks yeah um and and then so he would have open VCS and cuz like it’s kind of I mean I know it’s like a risky thing that’s why most people don’t do it after they get like a lot of attention but I might even Be part of the reason why he’s not around anymore um let’s go up the Spire in the middle here I don’t know though he might have just got I could tell you anything about him though I don’t remember him oh it’s all good but he uh He he inspired pasta to do open VCS and then I like that pasta would have open VCS because then anyone who was watching could just talk to him cuz isn’t that what you want to do when you have you see a live streamer it’s just literally I want to hop in VC and talk to this person right yeah it’s true no it’s true it’s true 100% And so then uh posa would do that uh and then I would join his and then I got the idea from him doing it to Have open VCS myself when I used to do uh streams back in like 2019 2018 2019 oh maybe 20 even 2017 actually I used to I did like a weekly streams for a an entire year to like the same 10 people maybe less oh no that’s Cool man when I run uh another server called 2b2 t.ca um and I would have open VCS and it was like that was like I think open VCS I think are Peak streaming in my opinion it’s like totally different vibe than just like streamer plays game you know it’s like It’s more like a community podcast almost welcome you cool you get to probably meet so many new people that you probably wouldn’t otherwise meet do you know what I mean and like literally just it redu it like say but it takes down all the barriers for like if you Want to do it all you’ve got to be doing is just you just have to be willing to join you I mean that’s that is literally need a bit of confidence but you can just chill in the background and just exactly you don’t even have to talk it’s Just like yeah you chill in the background and get the confidence and just jump in and like every single friend that I have made online I think has been because of open VCS really like cuz there’s people who will meet see me through my YouTube channel or meet me Through something else but I’ll do a live stream every week and I’ll have open VCS and then they’ll come into the VC and then they just become your friends so yeah no I can see it yeah Poss quite a niche like like getting more Niche now online and Stuff and it’s that you can’t even do that as a large like the moment you get too popular you have to close down the open VCS it’s just not possible that’s so true as well yeah like saying I recently had to stop doing open VCS my channel literally got Deleted because of it yeah he got uh he got deleted he got reinstated but he got deleted because um it seems to me like one of his streams at least one of the reasons he got a video like a strike was because of uh he defended veganism okay defended veganism yeah That is the reason he got banned he got a strike for that he got a strike for defending ve I think it he I think it it was because of he used like the name the trait defense which is like when uh you’re like name a trait that like Animals that like separates humans from animals that makes them like able to you know eat an animal and like if you go like level of intelligence then you go then you’re you’re advocating for eating disabled people you know and it’s like that’s not that’s you you know cuz that Would put them on the same level as animals that get eaten you know that’s kind of like the idea and I think maybe YouTube flagged that as like anti- like ableism or something I’m so confused but I sure it’s fine yeah no he got reinstated but he still has three Strikes on his channel but he got undeleted which is just crazy he has to wait like a month now or no the 9th of this month he gets them all removed and he’ll be he’ll be safe oh so it’s to like so he’s so that’ll mean that he can Like uh might make videos and upload and stuff again yeah well he can still do that it’s just that you you don’t want to because if you if YouTube Flags you one more time you’re gone again uh don’t forget about the underground parts of the base all right let’s explore because We got a nice view at the top here to be fair we haven’t even commented much on it I think it it is we just been talking but uh I I really do like it I think uh you know the spruce trees are very nice up here you got little gardens it’s like It’s layered like a cake to some degree that is true it’s but it’s like a cake that you can go on in the inside and it has loads of houses in it’s really it’s like it’s like a cake but not really yeah yeah and you got all the the The cord wo that you’ve got kind of hanging down here that’s really cool um I love all the paintings look at this one topl do you know this painting here this is my favorite painting you ever SE this painting yeah yeah yeah it’s like the sunset painting I just always I Resonate with this painting the most it’s very calming and um it’s definitely uh definitely my favorite painting all the other paintings are second tier I think these are particularly probably low down on the painting tier list um not really a big fan of the 2 by ones or The 1 by tws not a big fan anyone in the chat wants to weigh in on your opinion on MRA painting feel free um up here one by everyone knows these because everyone who plays Minecraft knows this he’s just not the most famous artist his art is the most famous because every millions of people play like every child knows that some of my videos have been retroactively like the edits have been undone right so they they’ undone edits that i’ made like years ago they were Like due to a system outage it’s affected some of your videos Six of your videos from like 2017 and stuff they were like undo the edits why they made it I think they brought back the Bedrock the bed I had to go back in and blur it Again few weeks ago she had a second opportunity free to help yourself to some materials in here if I recall correctly um this base is not being used so there’s some armor and stuff in this chest if you want to take it just yeah yeah that’s way this a classic Thing when you get to somebody else’s base you immediately just open all the chests you take everything that they got that’s valuable and then you leave absolutely you know I used to be like really uh obviously I visited lots of TB bases I’d always be like super respectful of like anything I found There you know I think the most I ever on those bases was like you know like uh uh food like you know like like or steaks I’d always need to like I’d get you know maybe I’d get to a base and i’ be like I’m out of food now you know in The original beginning so I’d have to be like right I’m sorry I’m going to have to steal some of your like cooked fish you know I’m like I’m sure they w’t mtic you know it could been worse like if someone finds you based on 2B like Imagine just like I don’t know it’s just it’s gone usually you expect yeah you expect it to be gone so it’s kind of a nice surprise if like you know someone visits and it’s like that’s true I mean’ be freak how but you know yeah you they would move they destroy it themselves Usually out out of like self-preservation like so they don’t have a a griefing video uploaded the next day that’s so true to be honest that’s so it’s quite what I mean if if what do you think of that strategy then like the actual strategy where once once You know you hear hear that these coordinates are in somebody’s hands that you’re not sure about would would you would you grief the base or would you would you wait for it to take natural course and just kind of like Let It live actually been in this uh in this Situation um on uh on the server s PVP I have a huge Bedrock not Bedrock but uh brick pyramid that goes from like the world gen like generation regular terrain to the to the top of a to the top of the sky and um somebody found that just by randomly walking around and I didn’t I didn’t I didn’t nuke everything and then uh the cords got leaked to another base and they didn’t destroy it because I was like chill with the guy who did it but I didn’t even know and then they showed up because the one of my base members uh was doing some Crazy stuff offline like like on like doing some other stuff and he pissed off some people so they came in went to my base destroyed his stuff and left wow they left my pyramid which is crazy um and even then I still didn’t destroy it So I I guess my answer to that is uh no no I wouldn’t I wouldn’t to I wouldn’t grief it I would let it I would let it try and stay as long as possible I’d let someone else make the video where they grief it Oh yeah no no I respect that I respect that once it’s up I need to be back be right back for like two minutes good it’s all good I like I like to see how creative people are on the server with so few blocks yeah that that and also That that this is a server where you’re allowed to do griefing too so not only are are they building on a server where where um you know this could all be gone one day they’re also they’re also building on a doing some cool stuff In in the world of of of just like the survival it’s all in survival it’s also in in other things survival and it could be destroyed if it ever gets found so it’s like really like the peak honestly the peak of Chad Chad uh Chad um building in my Opinion uh nether portal nether portal me when I lie and tell my players griefing is a banable offense yes oh wa me when I tell when I when I lie and tell new players griefing yeah that’s funny you should that’s a funny thing to keep saying honestly I Don’t like griefing but I I don’t like doing anything on servers that um where griefing isn’t allowed so I uh I simply I simply chill I simply I simply Chill on servers where I know everything I’m going to get is just destroyed I don’t know why why it’s just like it’s a weird Psychological like thing I need I need to know that everything could be gone tomorrow otherwise I don’t really want to build anything look it’s it’s mines it’s mines right here oh this must be like awful to walk up instead oh let’s let’s try and let’s see how would uh simple small builds be Walking up the staircase probably like this I feel like this is the most efficient way to to go up the stairs oh but what if that happens uh griefing being allowed gives me an excuse to be lazy and dig holes in walls instead of making an actual base That’s true that’s true very based b n i mean it kind of it makes I think it makes it more fun it makes it more cool when someone does do something impressive um like this because it’s like you not only are there like lots of bases where they’re hidden Underground um where uh where they’re like and they can be because this isn’t a server where you can use you know hack clients or anything hiding your base underground is a legitimate strategy to keep it from being found um because no one’s got those XP things if you’re like A little bit away from Spawn you know no nobody no like new player is going to like find your Bas yo mines look I found you I found you on the sign not this one look over here I found you it’s right here oh yeah it’s to you how is it to You how is it how’s it to you if you’re over here man okay let’s I gave you a mine cart let’s go let’s go down here you know that’s a it’s an interesting strategy did you see that all the signs on 2b2 T got released like uh a while Ago like somebody went and downloaded a text file with all the signs within like a 100,00 100,000 area uh I think so okay there we go wow this was the longest minec yeah no the other one is a th000 blocks long but I want to go see the mob Farm first this looks oh this is sick look at this oh my favorite food the cool thing about the uh like cuz of my the username my username is mines it kind of serves as a natural defense against people using it to find signs that I placed in that coordinate um The Dump of all the signs they built the mind they get so many results so it’s like people would have to really you know they have to spend some more time to find the signs I actually place for, 100,000 that’s funny that’s actually true yeah and somebody um somebody Actually messaged me on my channel like about three weeks ago or something saying that he found some of my signs from 2017 in like a mushroom biome or something that’s crazy and negative enty found apparently another one stacked at the top of like a one by one netherite Nether Tower just like I was like yeah I was just here you know going to fly away or something and like some tower that you jump off of and I was like that’s crazy that they’re still there yeah I I was uh just yesterday I was uh on S PVP And I was uh trying to get to Lord P’s base and then on the way there I found a sign of his from two years ago wow I even I even found a sign from I think also maybe two years ago maybe a little longer older from two other People one guy who plays This Server who also plays s PVP I found a sign of his at another random base like years ago oh they all play they all cross over on the servers you guys play them yeah cuz I used to stream on S PVP when I was Making that giant uh I think for I think 8 months or nine months I streamed only on Sim PVP uh because I was working on that uh Bri brick pyramid uh yeah and then uh and then I started this server so I’ve really only played This Server uh when I stream and Then some people people from SIM PVP also like old beta versions of the game so they they went and they joined the server um and some of them you know so there is a crossover between the two oh look it’s it’s the guy it’s bars himself This base is Peak it’s it’s the it’s the the notorious Griefer Baris um no bar so this this base is this is this baris’s base or is no this is not this is small simple small builds I think Baris just watched the stream where I uh where I went over it um last Time I was here do you do you sapl do you remember this I’ve just I’ve just remembered you could do this in this version so when you go like this right I mean you hit the ground and it does that kind of like that’s so sick you one thing I don’t understand right Did they did they ever bring this back up look I I don’t play mon version so I’m going to have like you know consult your Minecraft did they ever bring this back just doing this no no they never brought that back but they added Shields so you could do It uh I mean if you don’t have a shield in your hand you should be able to do this cuz this this was iconic like this is like this was it was a feature that everybody Universe this is called I’m friendly now we have to do this we have To do this this is not this is not as endearing as this oh my God just got sticky keys oh and this is why it we need to bring back the all the other was did you have a visit it I I know I I was I to be fair I didn’t even play 2B as much as like that much cuz I it was like I had to go through the que I didn’t have priority queue and then when I did it’s like I didn’t have time to to to travel as much as there I was also 12 I was 12 Okay that’s kind of crazy yeah it is kind of crazy to think I was like I I I got you to collaborate with me when I was 12 yeah I didn’t know that at the time yeah yeah no nobody did it was crazy uh so I was very I was like I Can’t tell anyone I’m 12 that’s also why the videos were edited in Windows Movie Maker oh yeah I mean do you know my videos were edited in Windows Movie Maker right really no way all my videos throughout the entirety of the the OG kind of era was up to like even like the Latest one in like 20 20 2018 I uploaded the Christmas one saying I was coming back or something you know was uh even even that one was edited in Movie Maker bro like all of my um all of my videos were Movie Maker and that’s why half of Them have weird glitches in like do you ever SE in some of my videos there’s like red flashes and green flashes of like you know archaic television that’s just a quirk that wasn’t me editing it that was just that was just burned into the video my computer when I was rendering It you know was like it it would burn those into the video but it kind of adds a little bit of um it adds a little bit of aesthetic oh I think here’s I never even like that’s kind of humbling to me because it just goes to show that like You can make stuff that feels like like like way above its grade and quality then with with tools that are nothing right like you don’t need it really goes to show that like I need to focus more on how I record things than uh than how I edit them because I’m like a big big on the edit you know um when I do it when I do videos and I always record terrible and then I have to like you know do a whole bunch of editing to make it better but clearly if I just put like A little more effort into the edit into the like you know if you set up this the setup then you don’t even need to do as much editing and then you know it’s all about like where you put your creativity I guess you know where yeah most of my Like I say like like with my stuff like I said most of my stuff is um I I ran into lots of problems when I was recording cuz like I was on a GTX 6 680 I think at the time was like when I was making most of my cinematic and stuff And my computer would actually uh turn off like if enough power ran through it like eventually it broke but like um at the time it’s like if I pushed my computer too hard in some cinematics my whole computer would force shut down and just delete like the clip would be Broken you know so like oh no I lost my M cart but the but the um but yeah so it just made like uh life quite tricky because I I was always bouncing like can I push more FPS out of this thing to like and it’s like it’s not just Contending with like actually making the Cinematic I was having to contend with like what was it um my computer just I I’d obviously you know render too many chunks in it would just shut down I’m like okay time to boot back up again and carry on you know what I mean like you Got to have some resilience like when I was working with that machine no yeah the computers are crazy when sometimes they work and sometimes you have to switch your operating system so you can play Minecraft oh yeah some things don’t change yeah yeah some things never change yeah 100% like Uh editing’s like yeah I don’t know like you are you like are you an editor yeah professionally I am an editor you’re a professional editor I get paid I get paid the big bucks not the big bucks but I get paid I get paid I I work for YouTu I work for gokanaru So the last the guy who’s currently the thumbnail of this stream um I I edit videos for him and like I’ve done like really good work I like to think um like the better than anything I posted on this channel better than like the top three videos on my channel combined like Work for him uh this he hasn’t post to any of them he’s he’s oh really he’s literally I can’t it’s like he’s uh he’s he wants he basically he’s building a catalog of backlog of videos and then he’s got this one big video he wants to Drop then post weekly the like five five finished and then like like four more that are like almost finished uh like right right back to back after that that’s crazy like the strategy of backlogging a bunch of videos before you release them you know that’s like it’s interesting I think Well it it leads to that consistency that because his Channel’s never had like proper consistent uploads uh and until uh did you did your mine cart break I’m coming I’m I’m here oh it’s weird for me you’re stuck in the same place like thousands of chunks away and Your mine mine cart is just empty oh sorry mine cart okay yeah that’s so odd that’s a it’s a weird visual glitch um all right right let’s do that so TP simple small small build I also think uh you have your way of like describing a base like even just now like You’ve got that that ability to compare like all of the other bases you feel like like a wine connoisseur or something like that you know guess for bases you know you run out of adjecti real quick sa I’ll be real with you but like that’s the that’s theill Video I don’t know maybe you make it happen you make it happen that’s that’s what I think all right this is simple small build’s current current base right now and uh he’s going to show us some ille that he acquired so careful touching these but this is stuff you can Get legit but you have to use like an exploit sort of um but it was like glitches in the game there’s certain glitches on the server that I that I allow that I’m okay with where I’m like you can you can if it’s not the the only Thing when it comes to glitches is something that will destroy the server crash somebody or dupe is a dupe and it’s like technically I guess this is kind of a dupe but it’s like it’s a stack of 64 fishing rods that’s cool as hell yeah know it looks really cool man and It’s like that’s not like actually an active dupe it’s just like uh just for fishing rods is it was like literally just for fishing rods um so like with permission I will I will make exceptions for certain for certain things um so cuz I really like illegal items like that’s Like something like I really think is cool about 2B is like illegal items illegal builds like Bedrock stuff so it’s like if someone could figure out a way to to gone now I think I think he is all or maybe it might be back actually I don’t know but he’ll go through and he’ll he’ll revert it to like Cobblestone or something it’s like So annoying I had to craft 64 fishing rods though they just stacked an alpha oh my goodness that is crazy see see this is the this is the kind of dedication that I I I appreciate from people who play this Ser This Server especially from simple small builds I’ll Show you my current mining project yeah he’s um really thought ahead there you know he’s like uh yeah him call it what you know investing in the future yeah he’s future maxing uh the uh what is it there’s a there’s a guy what the heck um I don’t know uh oh yeah There’s another dude unknown sfr he has a base that is entirely made up of like only like has he has a whole museum of illegal like creations and he’s done stuff where he has like half a p like half a piston or like like when you have The two parts of the Piston separated like he he just Googled all the exploits that you can do in survival mode in each version and then he just does them and so there’s some like he’s got the same like with stuff with the the he’s even He even has some items with damage I think on them too oh I see I mean that’s some dedic finding like you know you’re almost like going through all these like old articles and stuff you know whatever web page exist cuz the web page is probably a gone like you know there Minecraft Like I one of the original Minecraft forums like you know I I heard it wasn’t doing so well or something like I yeah I think people don’t like it look at this this is crazy huge I just didn’t even notice cuz the fog but this is big it is Huge I like the I like them like it’s like marble steps underground I love that this is so crazy it feels like could lead to like some sort of like Coliseum or something you know like some big pillars and like a big you know maybe I could see Statue here I could See yeah for sure for sure did delete the entirety of the nether roof for no reason so well I remember he removed like a lot of the uh the heads you like player heads player heads too why did You do that they were that was cool that was so cool that was so cool think they can be used I think they can be used in like other exploits though I think that’s the problem like because having access to the I think so I think they have some weird data about Them and stuff and I think yeah oh player heads oh they they’re just they’re just an inconvenient thing that I guess he was like H it’s not worth the effort to he could have probably reduced done the thing where he reduces his Stacks to one that would probably fixed It but you know well yeah he went with the uh destroy them all yeah he yeah house Master he he’s got his flaws but at least the server runs nice now I guess yeah I’m surprised like I heard that the server like runs real good these days I think whenever I played it It was three FPS or two FPS so to me that is literally like the my entire experience of like not my entire experience but most of my modern experience was um you know playing in the the extreme lag conditions um maybe someday benad I’ll make I’ll I’ll make My Player head available on the server Enchanted glass was also removed by uh I remember that I used to just run around my inventory all all the time H my videos I wanted one so bad dude you’re probably the reason I wanted Enchanted glass so bad Oh yeah you just see in all these videos yeah yeah I I’ve got a question so what what what happened what about uh what happened to the 2B videos are you are you are you uh are you just uh are you never going to make another video on 2B uh I think it’s a good question I think I wouldn’t rule out making a 2B video uh it’s just I think Minecraft online was like something I never got to explore when I played back in the day I think it’ probably be healthier for my Channel to uh to you know give the viewers some of what they want you know on the 2bt content which is like if you make your entire Channel based around that kind of nichs and then just completely switch it up it’s probably not a great idea but I Think it it’s kind of like 2b2 gets a lot of attention already you know yeah and it’s like as someone who’s like I don’t need to like you know make content that appeals to the algorithm necessarily you know M like I can I I Have you kind of have a little bit of a choice of like what do I want to make um I kind of feel that it’s nice to show some love to like Minecraft online and I think that it’s a server that I didn’t get to experience much of but it’s one That has a lot of history that one thing that surprises me in the time that I was away like from YouTube was the fact that after you know kind I made we made the the the Minecraft online video and did really did really well and got like you Know lot of views oh yeah five million views yeah and S and what’s his name Sal one makes he made video like you know a couple weeks after or so and he he also you know did a great video on the server um oops and uh I I did watch your I did Watch some of your interview with saly One at some point and he was like I was going to make that video before M he had the idea he just got he was like M just got there a little bit than me I was just I was just laughing I Thought it’s hilarious it’s it’s funny it’s like an arm race arms race you got there first you got to the Moon first but um yeah very different styles of videos though very cool but like say s made a video I made a video you know fit’s made bit videos on it I’m Surprised that the server hasn’t gained more traction than it has and there hasn’t been more more what’s it called more people creating on the server I think it it’s because of the lag for such a long time like the lag is not a big of an issue anymore but um I think It’s op it’s almost like an Optics thing because uh uh like when when I think old server I think for everyone thought 2B so then a lot of people would think oh old server I want to grief on here I want to go do some 2b2 T stuff on here And then they would get banned and then they would get the reputation you know even before that I think they had a reputation of being really harsh with the Banning and like I like the the the break a torch and then get banned like as soon as you join the server if you’re Even like a little bit argumentative about it you know that’s not that’s like really bad for Optics and then add in the point where you would break a torch on the server and it would come back and then you’d have to hit it again you’re breaking a torch and do that with every Block in the game like seven times that’s going to drive people away but that’s not a problem as much anymore um so the only thing left is like the build back I guess it was almost like a bit of a timing like problem where at the time That it had the attention and eyes on it it couldn’t capitalize on it because of the lag like the lag was extreme back in 1.7 uh and even like early early 1.12 I think it was still somewhat laggy I think it doesn’t seem as laggy today but It’s still bad impr not as bad yeah yeah cuz like you you’ve you’ve heard of novan right uh I’ve heard of it yeah yeah that server same concept as uh as uh Minecraft online but when it got popular um after uh after the Mr Epic posted his Video uh it was like a thousand people but the the owner of it is like uh at like he’s like a he cares about the server still like to like it’s like um he’s like competent you know what I mean um really nice guy too but uh he’s like Competent at what he was doing so he created a q system he created like he he upped the serers capacity to the Max and you know he’s got it all set up and now you know there’s a there is like I don’t know how many people like play I think They got like active like 20 or whatever but at the time they had like a couple thousand people trying to play constantly and he had it all the all the back work set up for that and um and now it has like a a dedicated community of people who Play yeah um should we head back spawn while we yeah I think we we can do that now yeah uh all right SL T oh let me make game mode uh mode I don’t want to die because I’m going to teleport myself to tp0 1,000 to zero no problemo Thanks for letting thanks for having us yeah thanks concept for the server I thought I try I tried making my own 2B like alternative uh a while ago it was called 2b2t.org and so after that flunked um I I opted to try it again but only in Sur like survival with no hacks no cheating and Then that that that like limited the number of issues we had dude you you you know what’s crazy I didn’t know this until I started like advertising my server uh in the during the alpha in the alpha space but because Alpha servers are so fragile there is a huge a huge Competition no no it’s really easy to crash them and then in the alpha server space um when I started this up I had a bigger chance channel right and I was live streaming so I would get like 11 people on the server at the same time And that is the most that was like the most popular alpha alpha server like when it was for like whenever I would stream it would become the number one on the leaderboard of this one site and these other guys who’ve been hosting their like Alpha server for like five Years you know they’re like real ogs it’s such a competitive like space uh and they they they they will go to the point where they will like crash crash each other’s servers and like um hack and exploit on each other servers and try and shut them down like the other Server owners were going after my server and putting like crash like bugs and on the server to like make it some my map had to be like reset and destroyed luckily luckily me and Ze were able to figure it out but it was crazy they were coming on here with like Clients they were crashing things they were blowing everything up you know and it was like absolutely unhinged uh oh don’t okay uh how do we get down here without falling I don’t like how close we are to the lava okay actually if you mind ah okay you can do it you just got To you have faith okay yeah you just m right directly straight down right next to me as well oh my God sticky keys I think there’s a way to if because sticky feys goes would you like to Tour on Sim PVP Sim PVP I don’t even know what the Server is some it’s Sim PVP I will tell is a is basically this concept of This Server it’s just this it’s the it’s the griefing is allowed uh no map reset uh and um you can and people have like bases out like all like ancient bases From uh the only thing is the map was started on 1.8.1 like beta 1.8.1 so it was kind of like just barely qualifies as like a a beta old beta map CU they reset the map previously but besides that like it’s all survival lots of bases um and uh uh lots of impressive Stuff to do tours on there and it’s just it’s just like basically the same kind of thing as Tob with the with the with the whole world and the community is like it’s like a smaller nit Community I think it might even have more active players than Minecraft online oh Really yeah and how how long’s it been going for the Sero um it’s been going since 2011 uh with the same owner they have an interesting system where they they’ll promote community members to like Mo to basically be moderators kind of the same actually the same kind of system as uh Minecraft online except the owner just decides or maybe they all the current mods decide who to promote and then they’re just promoted for until they want to leave or whatever um has it had a map reset no uh it had a map reset in beta but then it started That when they started it again it was on beta 1.8.1 so technically no map resets since beta Still Still beta map you know uh but so there’s there’s basic there’s bases that are really really old right there’s there’s bases that go back as far as 2011 2012 what version is it is it a bet uh it’s the it’s no it’s the newest version of Minecraft it’s like well 1.20.1 or something like that um it’d be kind of cool I don’t know if there are any old beta servers like the oldest beta server I think was started in 2015 um kind of NE I mean like you have to I mean 2015 that’s eight years that is a long time that’s a lot dedication lot dedic but it’s like it’s not like somebody who just started the server on beta was like I’m never going to update I’m never going to I wish I want to find a server like that but I don’t think it exists Loa base tour that will happen that will happen Indigo eventually it will happen um we those I think it’s kind of crazy how I think a while ago somebody Managed to find a way to like scan all the uh scan all the servers on the internet for like Minecraft servers yeah so then they’re able to like map out the the fragmented like you know space in like Minecraft Ser we have uh I I’ve used the the program like that well I Haven’t I’ve I’ve gotten people to use it for like something similar that for me MH we got I I got we got access to the use of one of those for uh a video that I’m probably the next video on this channel is going to be about um an Archive I put together of old Minecraft servers uh using a program like that okay and also just my own research yeah because I suppose that way you could actually firsthand verify like the servers are online Jo I mean like who’s to say that like some random Server like true like nerd. new how how do we know it didn’t offline for like six months you know does that does that class have forfeiting the title you know or yeah that’s actually what I’m wonder I wonder about cuz there’s this one server that has an old map uh but it’s Like re it was uh it started on I think beta or something like that went all the way up till 2015 shut down and then was reopened like in 2021 and it’s like does that and it was reopened by a fan you know of the server and it’s like I think That still counts it’s it’s whatever as long as you know it’s a public map um I think resurrecting old m apps is an interesting concept I think more people should do it yeah yeah but it does kind of like is it as legit as like as like Mcraft online no lender 2B probably not but at the same time like I want more to exist it’s cool stuff it’s still it’s still somebody is like you know what I was I was going through the Minecraft like archives like online the not the archives internet archive looking for B For old servers before uh for all that thanks for the live just like a lot of people also don’t know how To give like feedback in a way that’s like constructive cuz some people be like you should do this but it’s not like it’s not like what the idea of your channel is where it’s like um like one thing one reason let’s say about the Sim PVP why I suggest that I’m Like I think it’s because it’s like it’s a good mix of Minecraft online and it’s like a good mix of like the two things where you got Minecraft online with that more survival kind of like just building focus and then you’ve got the like the the 2b2 T like Anarchy thing and it’s Kind of like a good mix cuz like when I see like a like one of my favorite things back in the day about a min’s video is when when I would look at it and be like you you traveled all the way out there you found this like you got This base you had to travel the distance you’ve got all this like survival kit with you and then you’re like just passing by you know I like that like like Wanderer like wandering kind of like my like aesthetic to it you know oh yeah uh and it’s like it’s kind of Harder to do that on Minecraft online because Minecraft online is so it’s so it’s so much more like a metropolis or something like that you know it really like it’s like a a it’s like a City that’s just you know you can’t touch this you can’t go here you can’t cross You got to you can’t cross the road D that’s that’s you know there’s like there’s a somewhere no I never I’ve never thought about it like that that’s an interesting way of thinking about it you know the kind of like the whole I guess the context of where I am in Relation to the world you know what I mean something I don’t think about but like you you you clearly you I mean like think a lot more about that it’s I’m just like I’m here now click the record button no but I think it’s like all of Those elements that builds up to like the video you know a lot of the background St and it’s just like that’s where I’m thinking like you were talking about how you know you know tub is kind of an overdone topic almost like that’s why I bring up this other server that’s Not as talked about but it’s it can definitely give that same vibe that like uh as a 2B kind of upload I think would yeah yeah no I I I I do really appreciate the feedback like especially uh like say because you you’re very much In the uh kind of sphere of you know all these you know you talk you talked to a lot of the other 2B YouTubers you understand the context of the server to quite you know a high level you I mean like you understand the context of the Server events that go on around it you talking to a lot of players who are also very very passionate about the content you know I mean like you you guys enjoy the content and so to have good feedback from from like yourself you mean I always really appreciate it and you know Like to some degree it’s sort of U it it kind of like shaped a little bit of how I you know at first I’ve like the videos I’ve uploaded since I kind of started recording again like I did like a couple the first two I’d finished before I’d Uploaded any I think so I’d finished the um Baus video before and I’d finished lava Town um and those were two quite long form videos like they were you know quite they just took a long time to well it was one where I did a whole like hour Of exp exploration and obviously you know I’m still it’s kind of hard to get back into it after not doing it for so long oh yeah that’s totally fair and it’s kind of like I was you can almost overedit things you know like I remember In a lot of my old videos one of the feedback that I think really helped me was somebody was like you should just stop doing so many Cuts Like I would cut every time that I had a pause in my content um and I would obviously overuse Some words like the word um do you know what I mean yeah yeah yeah I got you I I struggled so much with that yeah yeah yeah and and he was like you should just try and slow things down a little bit do you know what I mean And instead of doing the cuts where it’s just like cut cut cut cut cut and I’ll say something cut cut cut I could just let it flow a bit more and you know he was the only person that suggested it and at first I I resisted I was like That’s silly nobody wants to hear all this blank you I mean like just the blank in between oh yeah yeah but at the same time as I kind of got older and I looked back on it I’m like that guy was so right like he was so right he was spot On that was exactly what I needed to do and he told me he didn’t say it in probably the most he might have just been a bit rough around the edges in the way he said it but for 100% I’d rather him say it you what I mean and right now I’m like that guy’s a legend you I mean I’m like thank you so much but like imagine if like the Minecraft online video where I did that that’s like imagine that cut up into like five million pieces it would be horrible you know like it’s just like it would uh I Appreciate the feedback is guess what I’m trying to say you know I got you I got and say the first two the first out loaded were long form and then you were suggesting I think moving the Cinematic to the start of the video and at first I Was like ah but that’s kind of what I’m known for but I’m also like I guess a lot of people that watch my content might not know that there’s a cinematic you know I mean people who haven’t watched my content before like if there’s any new subscribers how do they Know that there’s like a cinematic that I spent you know 70 or 80% of the video making at the how do they know that’s coming up at the end you know yeah yeah that’s actually exactly what I was saying I was like you’re wasting all this time making something no one’s Going to get to the end to watch because they’re not like I mean not nobody but you know like it’s it’s hard it’s like also you want to sell somebody on the video at the start like this is what I’ve learned just like working with gokanaru and stuff it’s like sell the Video at the start that the start is the most important part because once you get someone on board they’re on board for the rest of the video you know and like what is what what gets you more on board and like a beautiful cinematic you know 100% no I agree I agree and like I did switch it up you know kind of based on your your kind of feedback and you know kind of look at the metrics and stuff and I could see that you were probably right in that assumption and like say I Switched it up a little I tried for the third video I made it was the I think that was the Glen fidic one um but I kind of wanted to still pay tribute to the you know I wanted I didn’t want to continue with the same formula you know I want to try something different and so I decided I didn’t want to put the Cinematic at the start because I think I explained to you in the comment I was kind of like I want them to understand why it’s special yeah like how you’re just watching a cinematic it’s just it Could be anywhere you know like what’s so special about this build it’s almost like give it’s the place it was built in you know that’s kind of like it I think that I do agree like also there is a certain like like oomph to something at The end you know there’s a certain thing where you’re like holding your hand your cards or whatever you know like you’re withholding till the end you know like cuz cuz then it’s like maybe people who who who maybe wouldn’t get wouldn’t be on board at the start of the video you Know they’ll disappear but the couple of people who stay on board they get that treat at the end you know what I mean they get so much better for those people so it’s also like a different way of thinking because eventually you know somebody’s going to like the way you Know right at the start someone will be sold anyways you know at least a couple people and you can just kind of like slowly grow more dedicated fallowing because they know at the end it’s there’s a payoff every single time yeah 100% I think I think to some Degree I need to uh and this is kind of where I went with the the next upload the next upload like I I did the Glen fidic one where I introduced the context and then like for half the video and half the video with the Cinematic and Then the the third one I made was the um grandsire and so with that one I wanted still to add the context in but I didn’t add a lot of context so I just did like a 30 second you know like a 30 second just talking and then into the Cinematic Just to just to see see if it affects anything you know I’m just like how do people receive this and yeah I think it was received very positively I got like quite a lot of likes on that video you know and so like more likes than the Previous on so I was like oh it’s interesting you know like uh just experimenting with what works and and the next one I think I’m just going to go straight into the Cinematic just to see how that goes um dude experimenting is the way to go to improve your your Your video like anything even if it doesn’t work out like if it’s somehow like bad it’s like you just change it again you know as long as you’re changing you know you’re doing more Evolutions than than a lot of uh a lot of creators who are popular these days You know oh 100% yeah yeah so once you got something works you kill it yeah yeah that’s true yeah once you get that formula set up but even then it’s like it’s not the greatest idea to just to to to commit to the formula 100% because You got to it’s the the Great like when when you hit that level up in like what you’re making is when you take the changes when you don’t have to when you have the formula and then you change it anyways you know that’s I think that’s When when people like they level up in like what they’re doing like you could say even like do you know meet Canyon have you heard of meat Canyon on YouTube I’ve never never heard of okay he’s this guy he does YouTube like parody animations and then um one day he Decides he’s going to upload like a face video where he just like that and then he CH he he basically pivoted that into a second Channel where he basically does kind of like oh look at this reaction type YouTube videos on not not reaction type but like there’s a creeper coming Oh is there yeah dude he’s just miss us barely yeah he he won’t follow us now he’s out Renda but he didn’t make quite the top there’s a whole village over here there’s a road but let there’s a village let’s go I’ve never I haven’t actually explored a proper Village okay Uh all right good night bed menril or not good night just have a good you have a good rest of your day good night B by the way I recommend you put the mind’s channel in the after you first started playing the game you got a little Nostalgia for this version yeah well my first single player world I had like a I went to one of these villagers and like you know I’m just drawn towards it and because I’m like you know I probably Can’t build that well and I’m like I I love the you me it’s like free houses you know I’m like you going free house I’m going to take a free house and so I build like an entire like uh wall like four around the entire Village you know And light everything up and so I create like this fortification because like you know Minecraft’s like you know it’s kind of scary you know like all these monsters stuff and all these SP you have like a really bad time you know when we’re fighting them all you know you see How difficult it is and so I’m like need to get this all these fortification St to make my life easier I connect all the all the all the what’s it called villager HS together create like a mega structure where I can kind of walk through them all in the middle like Double layers so I have like the first layer layer is like the wall at the outside of the village that’s where I’m like that’s the first layer of Defense all torches inside and glowstone and then second layer is the inner like you know tunnels throughout all the villages you know all the village Houses dude that’s dud that’s just like this is kind of it is nostalgic I remember the feeling that I got when I when I first like saw one of these things like a village or like when I when I discovered what super flat mode was and that I like like just villages On the super flat world and I was like I just like thing about about the uh about it it just like rips it was like my brain like got tingled you know well I think that’s it’s kind of a shame once you’ve you know you explored everything you know Minecraft you Understand everything to such a high level that you don’t have the same it doesn’t have the same mystery you know that it used to havee you don’t get the same level of appreciation that you did back then it was all more you know you try you’re trying almost to recreate it To some degree you know and uh and you but I think it’s the same with any game you know after a while it’s just the first impressions and yeah because there’s something about the unknown like I remember when I found a village and I thought this was like it felt like like Playing like almost like a modded something it was so unique it was so like I’ve never seen a village before what the Villager like I can’t even con like the concept of whatever the heck that’s supposed to be it looks so weird you know oh man getting nostalgic uh Somebody in the chat salute says tell mind I like his voice his videos and they are kind of asmrish and also he was asking does mines know about Sim is he going to play there ever so you’ve got some fans oh uh um I just told him about Sim by the way So he who knows who knows uh but I forgot okay what we’re on right now we just generated the we we just loaded into the chunks of an old base that got griefed by a hacker and this is this is a this is a this is a uh toggle downfall Please I don’t know how to do that is that a game roll oh my gosh yeah just do SL toggle downfall oh to it doesn’t turn it off permanently does it no no no no okay did you do it oh it’s toggling off for World public SMP perfect thank work in progress So what happened was I I copied and pasted the world uh the the a bunch of bases that got griefed because I loaded up an old bat map backup and I placed them in random spots in the world because they were griefed using um illegal Tech you know like using hack Clients and dup TNT and stuff like that so uh technically they should still exist but you know once they’re griefed in a certain location they’ll be you know they can just be re by the they it’s the public base kind of thing already so I just was like I’ll take Like I think there’s four or five of these bases that that got griefed by the same dude and I took the old map map backups and I just I just teleported them to random places in the world in like unloaded chunks so we loaded new Chunks to this old base which is kind of interesting like how this all ended up looking um but I built all of this right here this this this just really easily burnable Sky noodle yeah crazy Sky noodle yeah well we’re gonna we’re G have to play it now you know yeah it’s I Don’t know if it is a game it’s it’s a sky noodle dude um yeah man so I forgot about this but yeah I just because I figured like I just there’s no there was no point in in in not there were oh there were five people who were based here I Forgot High sample I remember this was fun I remember this was a really fun stream making all this stuff it looks cool this Sky noodle thing this is cool it looks like you did kind of go insane but uh it looks cool concern but um like we just find the sky noodle Thing you’re like yeah I made this I’m like okay well I I just like I just like making really repetitive in stuff that has no no logical reason to exist no it’s really cool it’s like a really cool structure mhm yeah that’s like I just like stuff where it’s like on the Horizon on the horizon it looks really cool oh uh on the horizon it’s got like that interesting Vibe I remember when you were building the sky noodle says Sally oh real OG right there real OG he’s been here for a while he’s been here pre the existence of the Server actually oops I I failed this guy noodle oh my gosh yeah I’m I finished it oh there you are yeah now you get to jump down you won you won the sky noodle pasta also remers you’re staying up there there’s a I built a cactus farm up here somewhere W but yeah I was just going to say thank you to Salute by the way I didn’t say thank you so uh I I fell off the sky noodle I broke my legs on the 2 by like a one by two jump down and I didn’t KN Off yeah this I just like really like making random bases cuz every stream I uh I would build I would make a public base right like this was a public base I think I’m not uh and then uh I would just uh like stream there and anyone who Wanted to could join the stream and uh also B and I had this cactus farm and there’s there was the actual base over there I think that was the extent of everything but yeah we’ll check out this c f up yeah yeah uh how do how like I was actually Uh curious about this so how how do you when you pick a base like how do you pick a base to make a video about what’s what’s what draws your eye to one that’s I mean it’s kind of a good question I think a lot of the time it’s I mean part of it is how many bases do I have to choose from you know like playing 2B obviously all the builds are quite vulnerable you know what I mean like and at the time I was uploading quite frequently so um some bases i’ kind of go with whatever I had I Think um I wasn’t too picky I just anything I found like i’ I’d go go ahead fly with around with the elytra and find like tons of bases that I could you know try and uh make a video on um so I wasn’t too picky back in the original Era uh a lot of it is well if I found the base I might I might be more likely to make a video on it whereas if people recommend the base it depends how far it is away like how much I crush the person you know like if somebody’s like we got This crazy base but it’s like a five million blocks out on 2B um you know I might not go for it um but one of the interesting things about you know kind of back in 2016 2017 was just kind of like going from a point of I’d go around Finding all these bases you know and um I you know it it was a lot of time like very timec consuming trying to find a base like I wanted to load like every day or whatever or every two days um and so it’s kind of like you know Very time consing flying around but then what happened was after you know my video started getting a little bit of traction like people would just message me like base coordinates you know and it’s like I just found it like crazy do I mean like on a server where everything Is like you know so fragile you know that so many people just you know trusted me enough to just start sending me coordinates you know oh yeah yeah going from a point of like nobody sends you anything I mean you’re just kind of roaming around doing your own thing like Why would anyone send you anything to a point of like I don’t know these people you know yeah I don’t know who this person is and they’re like yo you want to come down Ste my base that I spent like two years work working on you know And like having the trust to like that like people would just trust you you know without even like having to prove anything or do anything you know like it’s quite yeah that’s the YouTube experience no but it’s a great it’s it’s a great position to be in or I you know I really enjoyed that at a time because it made my life a lot easier because I didn’t have to be finding the Bas anymore you know like that’s a significant time saving to some degree um so people would drop me you know coordinates to be like do you want to Check this place out do you want to check this place out and you know I’d have to assess it you know and be like CU a lot of them the build quality might not be quite like if might not have any substance to it you know um and the Older the base obviously like you know you prioritize I’m going to like really oh yeah you you’re going to go for the older bases like The Lonely Island base was that someone did someone send that to you did you find that yeah yeah yeah so do you remember cavas at All no I don’t think so so he was in The Lonely Island video and he was showing me around and he invited me to um Omega Omega City I don’t know if you do you remember that video at all or remember no The Lonely Island one and The the like uh the the flowy base are the two that like burned into my crystal clear in my mind the uh the EGA was a it was like a giant clay like city that was built by cavas and he was he invited me over there and it was like you know this Was a mega base you know you worked on it for like almost a year with multiple people living at it um I I think maybe a couple people lived with him there um but it was like follow me down here by the way oh yeah like a thousand uh Thousand blocks wide sort of thing or something like this and all built up but then he he was also like do you want to go see this other base who’ got like a 2011 base or something right that he knew the coordinates to um and it was Like it was only a couple thousand blocks away from his main base you know really yeah so he was like do you want to just come over here and we were just like yeah just get in the bow we’ll just go across to it did did fitmc make a video About it or or saly one or something later cuz I feel like someone else made a Lonely Island video maybe oh yeah I think fast Vincent yeah I was about to say that it’s probably fast but it was only 2,000 blocks away and I was like what that’s crazy it’s like don’t you Think that’s like dangerous he was like he didn’t know he didn’t know Lonely Island was there when he started building and so he just happened to build like of all the coordinates on the map he built like blocks away from a 2011 base or 2012 base I can’t remember I I really like that I really like that like kind of like just H happening happen just complete luck there you go yeah yeah and but yeah you know like so like you know like blessed and well grateful to everyone for like helping me you know create the content because Ultimately without everyone you know sending me coordinates and providing information and stuff I probably wouldn’t be able to make us you know couldn’t make half the videos that I made you know like rocket Valley I didn’t I didn’t find you I think negative entropy found that and sent it To me you know Lonely Island cavas was you know uh you know really not great of him to share that with me as well you know and um and lots of other people do you I mean I just get random DMS and I remember one of them like You’ be sent All sorts of things really though like somebody sent me some sort of like code for like you know like a coordinate exploit oh just sent me this like I think the some sort of like code through like DM I was like okay or like some some people would send like another guy Sent an Excel spreadsheet with like like hundreds of 2b2 T bases just oh you know things that they’ found on their Adventures you know Excel spread when they when the man pulls out the Excel spreadsheet you know he’s about to get serious I know I don’t even know who Sent it me either because YouTube removed the you know the message feature oh he said you on YouTube messenger oh yeah yeah yeah CU I used to tell everyone I was like yeah you can message me over in the YouTube messenger so I don’t know who sent me half of this Stuff anyway oh wow yeah why YouTube removing they remove your blur they remove your messenger message like I know but I think in terms of like new builds that I find like you know Minecraft online and deciding where I want to um you know record I mean we should try and get on This path right here oh yeah yeah this this this uh I’m not sure if there’s anything in par oh my gosh sorry sapl I died again I got the lag Buck I think it said uh min’s failed survival fly tried to move unexpectedly hit the ground uh okay yeah continue um but yeah I uh where did where’s all my stuff is it all down here it might be in my inventory cuz I picked up most of it okay okay did you have like 61 ladders no you didn’t no no no I had some food and a pickaxe or like a an axe There you go that’s that’s my stuff okay thank you but yeah I think um but yeah selecting bases now I think I just look for anything that’s like interesting and there there’s so much like I could pick from you know like on Minecraft online like you just go into the wiki and like You’ve got all the stuff there that you could look at that like most people have never even like you know nobody knows what any of these places are like in The Wider Community like some people on Minecraft online know of all the places like look at someone like Anna you know Who like super knowledgeable she’ll know everything about everything on the server um but most people don’t know what all these places are and so for me for me it’s kind of like it’s just an opportunity to like show people something new you know like like taking a photograph of like you the Eiffel Tower or something you know it’s been photographed like millions of times but like to create a cinematic for something that’s like almost like undocumented on YouTube you know I just just really cool you know like yeah it’s like a preservation almost yeah 100% when you find out some Cool history fact that nobody else knows about you get to talk about it absolutely and it’s just like a whole world filled with it you know on Minecraft online that no one’s uh well there has been people exploring I think uh there was a guy I think called scar Claw um scar claw something he’s he’s done like an entire series actually so it’s kind of untrue for me to say that no one’s done it I think scar claw’s actually done he’s done hundreds of videos I think on the server so but it’s still like you say Relatively unknown you know like it’s very uh quite Niche but it’s just anything that’s interesting any build that’s interesting has some history you know um like digital archaeologist yeah that’s that’s how I felt when I was looking for old Minecraft servers like when I found Novan I literally was like I I blew a gasket in my mind and the funniest thing was I didn’t do anything with that information for a year oh yeah I just had it and I was like what am I going to do I should make a really good video and then I just Didn’t for a year and then I made like a I I thought it was a really good video but I guess it was probably just okay it didn’t perform well at all oh no no well I mean videos like it’s kind of like do you judge success off of the performance Of a video or are you just happy with the video that you create you know I guess that’s true uh I in this particular instance I I wanted to be the one who got to have the 3 million view video about the server but that ended up Being Mr Epic sadly but I mean good for him it’s just it’s funny my Discovery is his most successful video there you go you know he’s he get a cut of the profits you know here you know you like I’ve got an older server I Could give it to you money I should be charging yeah I should charge money okay you’re doing the leg work the archaeology you know archive true yeah uh I did get to do a collab with him where we covered like four more old servers what the heck is the structure I Don’t judge don’t judge the the noodle all right uh bro they should add this to vanilla 0.1% chance of spawning in a chunk yeah that’s a good idea so true you just get the the the noodle dude if they added the noodle and just didn’t tell anyone Easter egg like really R really like it’s like actually 1% chance it has to be way less than 1% I’m not going to lie everyone’s world yeah one everyone would have it yeah they they just got make it like a one yeah just like really Low and it just does but it does exist and it just it spawns uh I’m happy that you sorry I was going to say you have to get to like you know like 5 million out and then you start seeing an occasion yeah it’s like it’s like oh imagine if Like someone at moang adds some stuff that’s that’s like location locked that’s just like every world has one and it’s in one spot and it’s like they don’t say anything it just exists there that’d be so cool sa says he’s happy that you started making videos again oh thank you thank You all right yeah I didn’t go for I went for a long time without without loading so what was the what was the reason for no uploads for such a long time well just the uh I think at first I just burned out on like 2B you know like I was just so not excited to make content and you you’ve got to be excited about the content you know like you’ve got to be interested in what you’re doing in my opinion you know like if you’re not interested not motivated and you’d rather do anything else it’s it’s Just like it becomes like a job you know like uh something you don’t even really you’re excited for but then after a while you know you can kind of like you know resets itself you know like you you get out of something for a while and Then when you see it again it’s like it’s a lot more interesting and in the meantime I was like you know studying like University and working a full-time job so that just took up all my time um and making videos is like really timec consuming you know um um to edit a whole Video like the videos I make now like they take a long time to like make like you you’re going to have to sit down and like if I I could dedicate an evening to it or something you know in on a weekday but it’s like I have to work for eight Hours and then like sit down to then start start a filming session for like five hours straight or six hours time to be like are your videos do you really record for 5 hours damn oh yeah yeah I I mean like most of the the cinematics and stuff Like some of my videos they take like like 10 hours or 15 hours or 20 hours or something to make like like the Glen ftic one the Glen fic one because I made a cinematic and a whole context all the context with it it took like you know I’d say like 20 hours or so or 25 hours just because it took ages to write the script and I hadn’t written the script before and like you know then I had to like make all record all the shots to the main video it’s like making two Videos when you have to like you know make a cinematic at the end or when I when I chose to make cinematic because you’re making the original video which needs some editing you know and then you know the Cinematic itself is very very very timec consuming because lots of Edits you need a lot of Clips a lot of the times you want you you’re trying to get the right Clips you know because like a lot of the things haven’t been filmed before you need to find like what angles work you know there’s a lot of Like thinking that I have to do is fil yeah yeah obviously you overshoot the clips like you sh I shoot way more clips than well I I shoot more clips than I than I use you know um and then I just select from the ones that I that I Have um but I try and I think a cinematic will take me like 10 hours or something or nine hours to like fully produce the average cinematic I think and if I want to you know I mean like I don’t usually like leaving it if I’m not happy with it you know like if I’m not satisfied with it mhm I kind of have to keep editing it yeah I gota the my old videos the old videos I didn’t I didn’t spend that much time on those ones it’s just my the new ones That I’m spending what I’m making it’s probably good that you know you’re you’re you’re feeling motivated to do that I I get into a trap like that where I’ll I’ll put a lot of effort in and then I’ll get tired and then I don’t want to ever touch it again And Y like I’ve got a video that I I’m that’ll probably come out next is actually I recorded the entire script I edited the entire I record I didn’t write a script but I recorded a ramble I cut the ramble down into something intelligible and it’s like as it’s as Tight as it could possibly be like story and then I I just don’t have the the motivation to actually edit visuals to it so I I re recorded it with me just playing Minecraft and recording all the visuals cuz it’s like look I I I need I oh No I need I have left yeah no no no look look at this it’s a chunk It’s a Jungle that transcends a chunk error oh yeah yeah I see how is there a jungle on this side is do the jungles when they get generated are they bigger Than the chunks like what why is how is there a jungle here uh there was probably one jungle generated and then next chunk wasn’t generated until a later version but the jungle was in the same place you know you know I mean like this one could have been like an alpha alpha like Something jungle and then yeah was like a 1.2 jungle or something and it’s in the same place okay yeah we probably just generated this jungle I think that’s probably what it is that must yeah you’re probably right actually that makes the most sense yeah CU it’s such An odd thing to have the J this is such a cool thinking more About your question actually when when you talking about how I pick bases and stuff um and what I choose to like kind of make a video on and recently I was thinking more about it and I was actually trying to challenge myself and you know the latest videos that I made Like videos on like um with the the latest one was Grand zire which is a mega City you know and like kind of touring something like that takes you know more time and from a cinematic perspective um I thought it would be more challenging because it’s a you know The bigger the bigger the bases the more stuff is like you know there’s a lot to capture you know um it’s not as simple as kind of framing some of the shots for a smaller build like the fishing Guild or one of the other builds that I’ve Kind of looked at in the past where you kind of got it all in your fingers you know kind of all the different nooks and crannies and things you can like kind of like use um and so I’ve been trying to push myself to uh try and uh I guess create cinematics Of places that I wouldn’t really be very comfortable you know making a cinematic um so like one of one of after Grand zire which is the last video I made the the next ones uh Phoenix Phoenix Isles which is um it’s another city on it’s a city on Minecraft online and you know I’ve always been I guess not pre I I’ve had my concerns about what building in a city will be like do you know what I mean um and so it almost like I wanted to push the boat out and do that you know to to Try and film in a city to see what challenges I’d run into you know and if I could do it um so at the moment I’ve been trying to focus on builds that are larger and take me outside my comfort zone even with lava town like lava Town’s a massive Build you know like it’s going to take it took me like an hour of just audio to cover the whole thing I know granted with with with the city like Phoenix Isles and Grand Z I haven’t recorded all the audio but with like even so the Cinematic still challenging for those Places especially like City I’ve never recorded in the city before um and with with lava town it’s an enormous base you I mean like to try and try and cover that in one video and like one take you know it’s quite it’s quite tricky you know the I feel yeah and it’s Pressure you know like to some degree the harder you try the the harder you think about it the harder it is you know oh yeah it’s really in in the world is really a do it’s a do Society though the mind the human mind is a due mind it’s It’s not supposed you’re not supposed to think about anything very for very long oh 100% like I say if I overthink it I can just get into a point where I’ll never start the video you know record the intro like a bunch of times and it’s Just like that’s all I do is I overthink videos constantly and honestly I was just like I just need to give this a go you know relax you know and so I kind of got into a good head space and I was just like right I’m just going to take this just Take the video and you know taking you know living off the viice of what that guy told me like six years ago just leave all the cuts in leave all the little bits in and just just let that natural you know let natural pauses happen and let the video just just just Enjoy the ride you know if there’s going to be pauses it’s going to be pauses if you’re going to focus on stuff you know focus on stuff but you know yeah I don’t know that’s sort of been where I’ve been uh you know trying to put trying to Challenge myself a little bit you know in the latest videos because it’s always there’s there’s a lot of things that happen almost outside of the video that I don’t explain you know I don’t explain that you know it’s it’s like challenging to record those videos like an hour long Video you know and you know just getting to the point where you just let it go and uh and just just enjoy the experience like it should just be fun you know it shouldn’t really it shouldn’t be stressful but there it is comforting sometimes like because going From the you know the 1 hour video video that I recorded completely unscripted uh to the scripted video there was a lot of safety in the script you know like I recorded the Glen fit one like you can almost you can control the um you can make sure to include everything you want To whereas un scripted you might look back and be like I missed that point you know yeah but also at the same time it’s less organic to some degree so it’s kind of like more you know it’s scity like that’s what someone in the chat here is Saying authenticity is like kind of what what you’re missing out on if you if you go for like a script or something like that you know like leave the paes in it sounds more natural sounds more like a real you know like less less forced almost you know yeah and and You’ve got to almost do that to have the practice to get better you know you’re never going to be able to commentate a whole hour you know without practicing um that’s true I I got I think I’ll be taking notes from this because I I I have that that uh that Rambling speech I mean like my last video was literally jokingly but it was still entirely just rambling with no point to it right yeah yeah and and like I mean I did it on purpose but it was like also that is how I talk a lot of The time where I go way too Off Script don’t finish I even now even just now I just did just now I’ll interrupt myself halfway through finishing like I can’t finish a sentence before I switch to a new thing it’s was really odd well sometimes what I do is like if I if Another thought pops into my head and I I want to you know you know what’s it called like you going down the motorway you take a highway because we’re a conversation is ultimately you know we we’re pedaling down a Mot away and we’re you know talking about the different Topics and then we take a you know we hit a junction and we take a left like well we might not have finished a point but sometimes a point will pop into my head while like I was talking to you earlier and I’ll make a what’s it called I got notepad up over here you know you’ll make a note of it yeah I’ll make a note of it and I’m like I can I’ll take that I’ll I’ll take I might need that Junction for now you know and um you got to have it open so you got to You want to you want to like write it down quick you know like if you don’t have it open you you lose it I’m doing that right now I’m I’m I’m making a new a new file note that but that could be one way to control like a conversation you know Like if if you have all the um you know if you have if you have ideas as you’re going along you can put it in notes and then Circle back to it once the you reach the end of your know a way that you’re on you know like we’re on a Conversation it’s flowing um you almost want to keep exploring that topic but you’ve also got something that you know you want to bring up you can you can interrupt the Flow To You know go uh go off piece now or you could let the point Continue if you want to if you want to you got have the choice to control it yeah that that’s a good idea because it’s like sometimes I have that thing where I think of an idea and I’m like I need to say it now I will forget in actually two seconds and it’s Happens sometimes where I don’t get it out in time and I forget and it’s like ah but um this is you speed up when you do that as well you got a point and you’re going to forget it you speed up which speeds up the conversation which You might not want you you’re not intentionally thinking about yeah so exactly and it’s like I I talk I talk really fast and I talk a lot and a lot of it is just meaningless too so it’s like if I let if I can write my idea Down and then before I T like just even just a no Cliff Notes version of it or whatever I can think about what I want to say without being afraid I’ll forget it what I’m going to say elaborate on it more and I think like for me I think another thing is Like this this live stream you know like something completely unscripted like this it’s quite um you know nerve-wracking you know like to some degree like I was I was excited I want to do the live stream you know because it’s always you know it’s so much fun You know honestly I know that I’ll enjoy you know as long as long as I’m awake yeah and I’m not super sleepy and I made sure that you know I went on a couple walks today and like trying to put myself in the best mindset possible to Uh you know um be in a good place to have a good discussion you know you got to have a a clear mind you know you’ve got to be quite um you don’t want to be you want to be putting for putting your best foot forward you know like if if I’m running on like two cylinders I’ll feel pretty bad because the the level of conversation we’ll have will be not ideal you know and so so that’s why I kind of went for a couple of walks and stuff but like say it’s quite for me It’s quite ner ner i i find I get quite nervous on like kind of live streams and stuff just because I don’t know what the conversation is and I’m just like what if I I don’t have anything to say you know like what what I I don’t know what To say and like I don’t know where it’ll go it’s it’s the the whole unscripted you know Conversation Piece like it’s almost like you look look at podcasts and it’s quite fascinating to watch them and just see how effort least that they Breeze through you know topics and stuff And they can spend you know an hour you know discussing something and it’s like really engaging you’re following along the conversation with them you know you’re there and you’re like engaged for the whole hour cuz it’s you know really productive conversation but I’m like H How do they know it’s going to be such a how do they how are they so certain that it’s going to be such a great conversation going into it like I’m sure that you know there are some podcasts that um are you know they probably don’t all go well you know proba Podcast yeah like there’s a lot of towards you’ll see the ones that are successful those ones will get promoted and the ones that are a little bit more Rough Around the Edges they probably don’t get promoted as much but I don’t know I’m just like wow they Just I don’t know it’s it’s an art form in itself you know as much as as much as uh like I say I try and you know get creative and I try and make my uh you know cinematics and stuff and not you know style of video it’s very very Uh um not spontaneous you know there’s a lot of thought and consideration and thinking that goes into it from the music to the which Clips in which order you know you want to tell a story you don’t want to give the whole thing away um that’s an art style in itself and I Like to try and think that that’s what I am well I like to think that’s what I’m kind of like you know people enjoy you know or that’s kind of how I think of myself as more of like an artist over like a YouTuber you know I know YouTube’s the platform But Ultimately it’s I’m trying to create you know art to some degree yeah you’re not trying to make YouTube videos you want that like that like you know art rewatchable maybe that’s more maybe a better like Evergreen video kind of deal yeah and like you take like uh somebody paints a Picture like you know you know artists paint pictures and stuff andh it’s just the same of that really like just because like you know someone pains a picture like you know a Vincent Vango or something like this and you know that’s that’s a medium of Art and that’s kind Of what people think of when they think of art but I like to think that you know I mean people might I know that but I like think that some of the cinematics I make are also art in their own way and you know it’d be cool to almost have a Museum of all like you know imagine just cinematics just playing on the wall you know like you walk around the museum and there’s just all these all these cinematics you know I just yeah sorry sorry s just few shower thoughts right there yeah no that’s cool No no no throw all the shower thoughts Now’s the Time dude yeah I had another tangent I was thinking of but I forgot it you know a that you didn’t write it down fast enough I didn’t I didn’t I had the not I was eyeing up and I’m like kind of on This point you know no it’s okay it’s all good it’s all good good fun um yeah no I I think what you were saying about the the like being ner nervous about uh doing like live stuff I I think that’s interesting cuz like I Think I might when I was a younger I I was doing I’ve been doing like live streams since I was like probably 14 I think maybe 13 and um like I think I just I just like beat that instinct out of me you know like I the the amount of Nervousness I feel it’s well maybe it’s not n you know you were saying you were like more like excited I guess but like oh yeah it’s just like I I get excited still but it’s like uh I I I’m not as uh like I never wor worry about the Conversation not being good enough cuz no I maybe I I just I feel like I can I have so many like random things that’ll pop in my brain that I can continually talk forever which even if it’s not the most interesting whatever it’s talking and you know like a lot of people they They listen to like it’s ASMR anyway so it’s like yeah they can they they just need words no I I did notice that about like your kind of content and stuff like you seem to be very good at like you know keeping your conversation going you know Or you the the atmosphere alive and stuff and I think what that kind of did settle my nerves as well because I was like I was thinking like you know you you you’ve done this for a while you’ve done the other other people as well and like you seem to always have talking Points you know even if the conversation like it goes in a different way or isn’t isn’t uh you know you can you always have something to say you know yeah that’s to to it’s benefit and detriment yeah I think it’s it’s quite good you know I think it’s a you’re you You’re a good live stream host m thank you thank you very very smart of you to compliment the guy who’s doing the who uh who’s live stream we on yeah no I I genuinely think that though I wouldn’t have uh I wouldn’t have said yes if I if I thought Otherwise you know well I appreciate it sorry yeah but once again it’s like a it’s a muscle thing that you practice right like skill all that stuff so you you can how many live streams have you done a lot of live streams on your channel I think I think you’ve done at Least one on on online I did two so I did one on Minecraft online and I did one as a you know the prop full speedrun challenge so like uh yeah I remember that yeah yeah wa were you watching the live stream or you I just I remember That challenge I remember TR dude and then I remember you you were like were you the first one to do it or oh yeah was like we’re going to do this Challenge and he was like who who’s going to chat like who who else is there there’s like the Community was like me androga dude like that was the community I mean fit MC was there but he’s not going to do the prop for speedrun challenge you know I don’t think he I don’t know if he did he might have done I don’t think he did that he Was he wasn’t doing the front R speed challenge he was gonna be like ah whatever but I was like if I don’t do the front R speedrun challenge nobody’s gonna do the then it be like kind of a big thing I think saly one did it too Didn’t he uh I don’t think so I think it was just me it was just me I’m telling you s the server was empty like we had a baron doome um we had yeah it was it was very quiet time 2017 2B you made your own fun you know Like there was nothing was there wasn’t a whole lot happening um and so yeah TOA dude made the uh he made the challenge and I was like well I’ve got to do it you know I I waited a while like I waited a week or two nobody did anything You know nobody was uploading video to compete with them and I was like I want to you know in the theme of collaborating you know I’ve done the collaboration with you that’s sort of the closest I came to collaborating with tooga dude was was he created The Challenge and it’s all in good spirit though like we’re all on the same team you know we all we all care about the server and we all want to have you know we’re all we’re on the same team as as I see it you know tooga dude me Baron Doome you know all of us really you know like oh that’s the way I saw it at the time that’s the thing YouTube is like a it’s a community you know everyone when the boat when one of them goes you know more successful everyone does really there’s you know yeah and just like We’re all in the same Community you know we might not interact like we all in our little like bubbles so like I hung out with different people on 2B to what trogu did and trogu was mostly solar I think at his places but when he puts a branch out like that you Know brch yeah take the branch you know I had a choice to either do it or not do it you know and and I know that I think at the time um there’s a bit of drama or something around tooga dude like some sort of like elytra when the elytras got Patched on 2B where um um trer dude kind of on quite a few streams would call me out for like you know leaking the elytra exploit and stuff oh but the um uh but ultimately you know you kind of put that stuff aside really and and we were on I Think we were on good terms and stuff and I was like look there aren’t many of us we all need to support each other and so I wanted to help him and I supported I did the I did the challenge uh I did I I ran the challenge once and then he did It again and beat me and I could have gone back and done it again uh but I didn’t and I probably do regret like not doing it again but I’m glad that I at least you know uh engage with it you know like like you say when somebody Offers a an olive branch it’s sometimes nice to to take it and yeah and and have an opportunity that like I don’t look back on that and think oh no I’m so upset that I did the Pro run for I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to you know engage with Tooga dude I know like you know he’s not around playing 2B anymore you know yeah he’s actually making a video game he’s like a oh really well he was and then uh I think he he quit making it actually but he but um oh no there’s a Mo out Actually um for it um but he he’s he’s think he works for a coding company or something now but that’s cool yeah but but you you see you see throughout time though like on 2B you you’re not always going to be playing 2B at the same time As other people so two of you know a lot of people probably don’t know who tude is anymore you know like new players that’s weird to think too cuz I remember he’s like he was kind of like a big deal back you know a little bit Yeah but but I always look back well on things that I did with people you know videos where I collaborated with people like they’re some of the most fun videos to do you know I mean I know I I lack in doing them myself and you know like I didn’t Um you know you were probably the one to put the you know the ol the the branch out you know to do this live you know like I’m probably just based on a personality type probably just less likely to kind of make those initial contacts but I definitely think it’s Something that whenever I do them I don’t I don’t regret them you know so much fun like I wish that I did more of them and I was able to you know do more with like um you know um like back in the day when I was uploading and maybe Still you know if I if I you know if I produce more content and get more of a rhythm going with it I know I’m not producing very much at the moment but hopefully you know might be able to produce some more content with with other people again in the future you Know yeah that’d be S like and I did have we did have um I like I almost did a a collaboration with you know fit and C like what really D oh yeah yeah yeah it was in it was we were I reached out To him in like 2016 I found there was a pumpkin base um and uh we we were going to tour it together you know like do a do a collab because oh yeah like you say there’s just not there’s just not many of us in the 2bc so everyone knew each Other you know we still do know each other I mean when I say know each other we we all know of each other you know yeah yeah yeah like I know I know I don’t you don’t always talk about the other creators but I feel like everybody We know I I I know all the C you I mean I know I watch them all you know I watch them all and they all make cool stuff and um I can have some food by the way please about oh oh yeah I’m just I’m Trying to get us up onto that like uh are you starving to death right now no no I’m not okay okay okay good uh I just let me just fill my this for us to collaborate on and um he was like yeah we we’ll do it man you I mean um but then unfortunately we weren’t able to make it work you know I think I was like Oh are you still to do the thing and I think that he was you know probably had some other commitments at the time um we weren’t able to get that done but um R yeah but I I I kind of miss miss um you know not having not been able to do That like I think that I I I I regret more of the things I didn’t do than things I did you know oh yeah that’s that’s a that’s a that’s a like thing as age agees ageold as time or whatever where it’s like people anything you you No nobody ever regrets stuff that they did you know like when you ask old people like like they I think there was something where they like asked old people like uh on their deathbed what they regretted most and it was always they always brought up things that they They regretted not doing nothing that they and nobody ever thinks about the stuff they did at least they always think fondly they never think it was a bad even if it went badly they don’t go I regret I never did that it’s like no no no I uh no absolutely yeah No so good stuff and like so I’m at last of it’s combination of Goku and Nara that’s why oh I see but you know at some point in the future you know like a different point in time might not have crossed in the same way that they did you know like exactly yeah for example like when we when we like when I saw you in that live Stream I think it was the live stream we were doing where we we talked about it I think you left a comment on my video and so I clicked on your channel and me you were live at the time and so mean like it’s kind of like it it all Cascades Like the butterfly effect you know into like I don’t know it’s just all interesting I yeah no I I to be fair I I I think we would have eventually done this anyways CU I was planning on getting you on like as a guest no matter What but like I was going to send at least an email out like inquiring this is this just cut the cut to the chase quicker you know what I mean oh 100% well you it’s kind of thing where it’s like if you don’t ask you don’t get you Know yeah exactly I think I should try and adopt more of that mindset you know like oh yeah like just offer collaboration opportunities um and I think one of the easiest ones is literally like the one that you did before where it’s kind of like less commiss it’s just like can you just Record something from the script you know exactly yeah I think you were discussing this with another one of the uh your guests you had on and they were like yeah I love I love the ones where they’re just like you know they send some uh they send a message out and They’re like oh I just needed to record this thing for a script and they were like they love those ones because it’s like something they can do to easily collaborate you know almost zero effort because all the works done for you you’re like I’ve written the script Would you just mind narrating this piece and it creates like a I don’t know it’s just cool man it’s a cool idea adds an intersectionality between all of them you know 100% and it just takes like like when when you you you sent it to me Like I liked on I liked hearing it from that Creator’s perspective cuz it’s like you know creator that I never you know never um you know you don’t almost cuz creators present a a um you see part of what the Creator does on their Channel but often if They’re not a personality like a Channel or something you might not know the way they feel about different things you know for example how they would respond to someone reaching out for collaboration you know they seem very to take it very positively but that encourages me to be like you know if I Want to write a script in the future and send it out to a few people to see if they’d be interested I’m more likely to do it because I know that he’d positively receive it you know maybe other people would as well you know otherwise you might be like oh why would They want to do work I mean why would they want to do anything like that you I mean otherwise you just it’s a negative mindset otherwise you know and I guess I’m more prone to be like oh I better not you know what I mean like yeah I get What you’re saying yeah it’s like uh way way easier to just be like this is not no no way you know just like shoot it down before even reaching out you know yeah before your idea even has chance to grow legs you can very it areti people around you will um You know be sure to uh you know I mean some you mean depending on the people you have around you I suppose but a lot of people will just think you know that’s silly you shouldn’t do that you know and so you you’ve got to be kind of Resilient to that but that’s social pressure that people put on you you know like you know that’s a stupid idea don’t do that you know what I mean you you’ll very quickly be deterred and not take an action you know when in reality you just Need to have a bit of bit of confidence and self belief that you know maybe it will work out you know exactly there there’s no harm in just assuming the best you know hoping for the best and looking for that taking a positive mindset you know yeah because it’s like It’s just it’s just asking that’s all it is right it’s like you’re not even it’s not even like maybe if they say no the first time yeah obviously then they don’t want it but like you know it’s not harassment to ask a question one time no And and people appreciate it you know MH like like Minecraft Server uh yeah I I think I watch that one I made a video about that first and in my video I went fitmc should make a video about this and he did and I don’t know if I I wish I reached out to him that could have been my in I wish I Reached out to him and been like fitmc make this video make this video about this thing um oh maybe maybe he saw your video and he was inspired by it maybe he did I I you got maybe you got all these shadow Watchers of people who know watch You I know the the craziest thing I fit himc you my face leave a comment you know yeah yeah that’s true he doesn’t want to you knowled can’t acknowledge me I don’t think so I think you know no he probably hasn’t seen it I think I think What happened was a saly one saw he messaged me about it and then he said he might make a video about it and then I my guess is that probably trickled down somehow to fit um in an unrelated sense or somebody else from the server reached Out cuz that’s also what uh like someone reached out to me right and someone might have reached out to him as well I’m not 100% sure yeah yeah uh yeah I I think yeah I think once the channel gets to a certain size though it’s probably Harder to you know like like for fit for example it’s probably harder for him to um you know do those sort of things I guess oh maybe or like reply to like I might shoot him an email sometime I think also I’ve never really had like great ideas for collabs with like Particularly with him but I I have I have one I just like this is the perfect this is the perfect way to interact with FMC this this this live stream I get enough people on here he’ll definitely he’ll definitely come on he’ll definitely come On there you go mhm you’ve had a lot of the uh the 2B YouTubers I think right yeah I got I got fast Vincent um and then I I have interviewed uh saly one previously i’ like to get him on this particular uh I’m G to call this the Podcast this podcast I think this is more podcasty than it’s it’s a live I don’t know I I like to think that this stuff is like more rewatchable you know than like an average live stream um but maybe maybe I’m wrong maybe I’m I’m foolish in that regard I’m a fool but Either or um I I I I I wanted I want the whole goal of this is that I could eventually get to speak to fitmc cuz I keep bringing him up in videos and being like fitmc this and it’s like he’s seen my face too he’s seen my face cuz he Watched that Mr Epic video I can get my I can get my I can get there I’m GNA get there it’s like it’s like a little goal oh yeah yeah well I hope you can do it man H I almost don’t want to it’s one of those fun things you just ch you Don’t want to get it’s almost you don’t want to cuz you’re just chasing forever you know it’s like the it’s the it’s the meme the meme dies if if I ever interview him you know if I ever talk to so true so true I mean maybe you should Give us something like a like a script or something you know like a little bit of the script to do I mean I don’t know if you have any videos coming up but that feels like something that would be easier say yes to an entire live stream I feel like in terms of commitment you know he’s and he he’s I don’t think he’s as engaged as you know with to be I mean I don’t know because all I see is his channel you know I I don’t you know contact it or anything like that you Know I don’t I don’t have any you know contact with him um he’s he’s always been cool you know kind of when I messaged him and stuff like but I’m talking a long time ago this is like 2017 2016 he always seemed pretty cool To me um and like say we both we’re both literally like we started playing the server like in the same time period like we started playing we both played in 2013 you know like you played 2B like in the ancient days I didn’t even know that Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah so I was playing it way before it got any like attention or anything you know it’s probably not many people kind of know about that like oh I did not know that at all wow okay maybe I’m just ill informed I thought you like joined just casually randomly One day I did not know that mmm no I I I knew about the server back in 2013 because and I I originally how I kind of found it I think because I can’t piece it all together correctly because I already have a bad memory and when you Get to the point that it’s like I think now it’s 12 how many years ago is it it’s if I joined in 20 I’m I’m I’m talking like 12 years ago now you know and like I already I Str I do have a bad memory you know and so I Um I’m I tried to piece together how I kind of came to the server and I think the best recollection I can kind of come up with is I remember joining a server called no rules in 2012 and it was like I was I was confused by all these servers with all These plugins and like you know griefing I was like what the heck’s a grief I don’t want to grief you know like I thought it me like crying or something you know like grief you know like yeah yeah yeah that’s what I thought too and I was like what what are all these rules it’s so complicated and like I don’t understand what I’m doing I’m going to break a rule and it’s going to be like really bad and stuff and so I was like I’ll just I was like okay right this Server has no rules there was just a spawn Hub like a little thing with like made of bedrock and it just I remember me and my friend we jumped on our laptops and um we just jumped on the server and like we could see the top of Jungle trees in the distance and that’s where we used to head towards CU like that was our orientation so when we died and we headed back to spawn we looked for the top of the jungle trees in the distance and everyone would be like you know running around kind of going crazy Um it was like no rules. org I think and I joined that and it was like really interesting and I remember having some memories where I’d be tunnel bases underground I’d like hide chests like seven blocks down i’ be like no want to get in my stuff you and I come back and The chest would gone I was like how how did they know my chest was buried there like that’s such a random place for them to like go and explore I put all my diamonds in there you know yeah I remember somebody somebody came to my like little settlement I based like you Know probably I’d say 300 400 blocks on spawn so like people would come in there constantly and I remember some Diamond guy coming in and oh we got there was like a Cave System right where I I was building this house little settlement thing some gu guys came along and they Were like follow us follow us you know the Minecraft sword movement and stuff and we were like all right we got to follow these guys we headed down like this you know a jungle um like a a river through a jungle and it came to this like uh waterfall right uh And they went inside the waterfall there was a whole base inside the waterfall right so cool and and it wasn’t them there was more guys in there there was like four or five guys with all beds set up like you do like bunks almost like all they all and they were like giving Us armor they were like yeah you guys can come here as well and then if we kind of kept going down the cave and stuff like on no rules like down the Cave thing they had like some mines and I was like oh I’ll go and explore down There and we we both went down there and um and and we we kept going down and down and down and eventually those was you won’t believe there there was another base down there further down but this one like the first guys who welcomed us into the ca into the um you Know the cave or the waterfall cave the waterfall base um they were all in iron and stuff when we got down to this other one there was like loads of furnaces just furnaces you know just Bedrock so you have the fog of the bed the Bedrock You got like some signs and stuff like what is this place and then two Diamond guys appear like two full diamond guys we like oh my God this is you mean it’s what you expect to find like you know yeah you know you got the rookies up top They don’t know what they’re doing then like you go into the Cav you go into the guys and I’m like you know Theon guys you know they’re pretty Advanced they’ve got a little secret cave system that I think like the coolest thing imaginable you know so I’m like wow look at this Look at this waterfall base never seen it before I’m like that’s such a great idea I mean keep going down and it gets even like reation after the Revelation or like you know these are like you the most you know these guys know what they’re doing they’ve got diamond armor They’ve got you know fully resourced and I was like wow these are professionals these guys know what they’re doing you know that was like probably one of my that’s the earliest like memory I think I have of like you know Minecraft really that’s awesome and but can I going back To the original Point uh uh so I went to try and find This Server again right yeah like Anarchy I was like it was it was Anarchy you know mean Anarchy so I was like Anarchy server Anarchy server like just uh server no rues server no rule I thought It was probably server no rules that I was typing into the search engine and that’s when I came across 2 b2t right it was like oh so I could cuz the server I wanted to go on to was shut down you know it was gone is it gone it’s really Gone oh it’s gone it’s gone now it’s long gone this this was like a 2012 server you know it’s like died a long time ago um but I was like oh this 22t seems pretty interesting it’s been running for a little while and you know I’ll go play This instead so I jumped on there and um you know me and my friend uh some of my friends from real life jumped on on it and we just you know um we we went around and it was an interesting time you know it was a lots of uh it was very Very mysterious back then like really it’s way it was way different to how it is now sort of how we’re playing now is well people know the modus operandi of old servers you know like like of those kinds of servers like immediately get the hack client get the thing get this Get this get that oh this is your this is your tree um and then it’s like uh as opposed to like what it used to be aw you didn’t even barely anyone knew what a hack client was um you you didn’t know that you could x-ray through blocks you’re Like what is going on how is this how does anything work here you know you just assume that like a lot of like the cheating was actually just like just somehow they figured out how to do this in vanilla Minecraft cuz you know you’re younger and Les just didn’t know what Anything was happening like Minecraft was more mysterious back then yeah but 2B was like I knew of things cuz I talk to players occasionally like I think oh just a regular restart but the I think at one point there was there was a you know like the server would go down I Remember like you know pop Bob he joined with like a bunch of accounts like he he filled up to like aund slots with like accounts yeah yeah yeah I think so it was it was an old account of his that was you know join the server and like Just flood it with accounts and stuff um all the same name but with like one digit changed you know that was odd you know and there was like there was different Oddities that happened um dud that must have been so mysterious and and and I knew that there Was bases around and I we caught wi that there players millions of blocks out because you know that’s the safest place to be and that was you know imperator so imperator was online um and they were building imp space you know in the back I didn’t know it at the time you know I knew that there was I was aware that people had gone out Millions like cuz through the great bar you know everything you heard that sounds so much cooler than it is today like just like and and you you’d message different Players like I’d message whoever was online regularly you know like we would talk about things and um one of the players um was you know pyite oh uh it’s just like some guy who’s like uber famous like in the in the the YouTube news sphere you know and it’s Like just yeah but he’d occasionally I ask him questions and stuff and he was always you know nice enough to respond and stuff and tell me stuff about you know and all like they they occasionally different players attend screenshots and stuff so You’ get wind of like there was Some base somewhere you know MH um it was like you’d see a screenshot but there was like no you didn’t know where that place was you know you might you might occasionally get a screenshot sent your way and you’d know that like this base exists you might hear no disc Either no no Discord so and stuff so inferior I I wasn’t in the you know Sky groups and stuff like that so I was kind of just more of an outsider but and I wasn’t really um I was more of like a kind of solar traveler sort of Thing um so I did play the server back in like 2013 2014 but it became incredibly laggy I mean I don’t know if it’s even documented or anyone like talked about it but the server like almost like died I think because it it got so laggy it was like virtually Unplayable like it was unplayable that’s the reason that I originally quit in like 2014 um the server became unplayable like like nobody was online there was no players online and 2b2 is honestly quite lucky to have survived the period that it did because the interest was so low Like at that point was like offtopia was like the only person who would or offtopia and SATA would like be the only people who would pay the money for the server to continue hosting each day like I have to certain point like they they’d Fork over 200 bucks or Something yeah that’s what I heard yeah I think uh it was like of Topia like single-handed they like kept the server running like without kind of crazy that’s what I that’s what I heard because it it was kind of crazy as well because like no one knew of This Server Right and this that guy should be offtopia should be the person who owns the server he paid for it for when it could have died well there was always the um like I always used to find it very interesting because you know I went to the 2B Website like you know back back then and it was like there used to be I don’t know if you you’ve seen it from back then but there used to be like a donation goal on the left on the right hand side of the page and it was like we Need $75 for the month that’s a lot of money and and remember you get no there’s no like you know perks you get nothing get anything yeah maybe you get an motd or something maybe they I can’t remember if that was like for a bit yeah Yeah so maybe they gave you that but really it was like you need to send an email to the you know the servery and and but no no but the whole thing was of the server like the whole what made it more interesting was the Fact that it read on this on the website if this donation goal isn’t met we shut down like like it was like if you do not give us this money right the server dies like whichever month we miss it you know yeah that’s and and you’d see the Donations ticking up and I was like these people like had some hardcore following you know yeah like it had a hardcore following of people who enjoyed playing the server but I think the roughest period was after 2013 it was like popular and a lot it 2014 it died Off because that it became just so much lag and then 2015 after I kind of like you know I I logged on occasionally so I’d show people the server you know in 2015 like I’d be like oh come check out this cool server you know we can go Spawn and we’d escape from Spawn and stuff and I’d be like it’s really cool or like you know be showing them all these like ruins and stuff and they were all f fascinated by it um and then in 20 uh in 20 uh obviously in 2016 that’s I Was like yeah it’ be kind of cool to like I could see that it was gaining a lot of traction you know Way Beyond like what it seen before and I thought I kind of wanted to create some content on there I was very motivated to create the Content because I already knew that this server was like special you know back in like 2013 I could just feel something about it um was different you know yeah um and I enjoyed playing on it and it created it was like an experience that you couldn’t get Anywhere else you know and it was like say all word of mouth all very interesting like you’d go through the Nether and you know you’d be traveling and like covering up your tracks being like really paranoid like you knew that people on the server could like do Anything and there was like but the CH chat was like completely unhinged and stuff like that and probably not the best place for a young person to be hanging out to be fair but it builds AIT bit of a everyone who played too was like 13 right they’re all like really young Like I don’t think everyone was 13 from what no no I think there was there was probably some kids that were playing um but my the way I always saw it was most of the players were adults like that’s my that was my when I was playing it and I was a kid and I was just like I kept a low profile because I it felt like you know you don’t want that to be known yeah yeah well I think I heard that they used to bully children off if anyone found out you were a kid that you’re Gone off the platform you just you I mean you you just got to be smart about it like some people probably couldn’t shouldn’t play it you I mean like oh yeah yeah and probably most most people shouldn’t play it like but it it is interesting you know and at that point You know yeah no I agree it’s it sounds like such a cool experience honestly if I I think that would that would have been like I mean I never definitely I would have been way too young to play that kind of thing um I feel like it Would been terrible for me but like I would have enjoyed a server like that I think um because back then I I I I learned about hacked clients um because I used to play like a PVP server like I really like the PVP part but um I just Never I liked history a lot that’s what like tub like attracted me so much about it I was like oh I really like in like history and then this is Minecraft mixing with history like the way that MC would put his videos together even though if it was kind of a meme or Whatnot I was like history Minecraft I got really into it and that’s why I made that video CU I just s big history guy and I was like this is the two favorite things in the world uh and uh and then I did that um and that’s what like really Drew my attention to it also like you know it was like foul and it’s like that’s just That’s Unique that’s not as like you know yeah much is usually have it’s kind of like you can do whatever you want with to be you know and so for Me I took it in the direction of like you know you can the expectations almost to be and grief you know like you you come here you grief and you be toxic and so I kind of just was like well I can just choose to create you know yeah and That’s equally anarch it’s like equally anarchic you know I can kind of go around and just I choose with the freedom MH to you know T people’s bases and you know preserve the history and that’s my play style for the server yeah no that’s I didn’t know it was so weird To thinking now knowing that you’re like an old player I didn’t know that I thought you were just like some new I don’t know it’s not that it’s not that like big of a like life-changing thing but it’s like huh that’s like that makes kind of makes sense I guess like you’re You’re a lot more I feel like you were also a lot more prepared and in the know than a lot of other people for all that stuff yeah I mean maybe I think I I I I understood the um culture of the the server very well like you know I I I I Understood and respected the the culture whereas new players probably didn’t have that same you know understanding of the but I would say anyone can anyone can play 2B and you can pick you can kind of learn how to you know navigate the landscape and you know make a living on the Server I say make a living you know I you know get by and uh yeah and just play the server you know anyone anyone can learn to do it but um yeah I think prob probably it did help me having the previous experience of what the server’s Like you know um but it was different it wasn’t the same playing in 2016 it definitely wasn’t I I didn’t used to use hack clients and stuff in the past um yeah it was a different experience doing that and it all it’s all quite um like Say back then it’s more of how you know how we’re playing on the server right now yeah like this this was more of like the experience I had in the original 2013 days whereas now it’s more like okay or 2016 it’s like a log on you know Switch the elytra thing on Ultra Ultra efficient you know like yeah yeah really it takes of the magic oute I agree like the cool thing about like like servers like that like this or or Tob back in the day I would assume is the fact that people would would still do stuff in Survival mode they would still nobody like the the economy is like or the the community is so aggressively like uh exploitative of like the game mechanics that it’s like if you’re not like a pro coding Elite man don’t even bother building something because someone will find it and like you’re It’s gone you know almost it’s like it’s too efficient it’s too efficient almost but you lose some of the charm when you you g gain the efficiency but you know you lose it loses loses the or it creat it’s a different game experience you know some people like it you know people Like cuz for them it’d be too frustrating to like you know do some of the mega build without all of the the clients and exp got but I mean it has its place but it is like it is different yeah I think that yeah it’s just a different experience I think you Can replicate it though if you choose to play in survival and just play on 2B but I think it’s like the people who would be attracted to doing that because it’s like you’d have to wait in the queue for two hours I think the queue might also kill a lot of that energy Well that that to be fair that is one of the main reasons that I don’t play TB you know like 2B do you do you think I’m going to wait in a queue for 2 hours like and do you think I’m going to play $20 to play on a Server like back in back in my day yeah servers were free um and so that that that that also gave me an advantage because you know I had you know when they introduced the priority queue yeah you had the old old queue I had the old queue so I could Just get in and just play the server so that so but without that I probably wouldn’t have done it because I wanted to wait in the queue and so I wouldn’t have played that’s true yeah then they they re they re revoked it or whatever yeah they revoked it and I mean I mean you can imagine that I wasn’t very pleased about that I understood it I understood it and it’s completely fair you know and it’s up to them it’s up to how how he wants to run a server but it also his server that he doesn’t pay For I mean like I say it it’s um it also just doesn’t really work for me you know I just don’t I just do not like the idea of paying $20 a month like that’s a significant amount that’s a new Minecraft account every every single Month well it’s just it’s just a lot of money to play on something that you can almost get a very similar experience on a lot of other servers you know yeah that’s the thing why I Tob is like unique but it it’s kind of less unique now right yeah 100% It’s still a fascinating place but like I say with the hyper optimization and stuff I did play on it while it was a changed server and I did enjoy it and I’m I’m sure that if I if I could get on it again you know it’s a lot of it’s fun To play on it but it’s just the priority CU really you can’t really play without priority right yeah it’s well not not in any like functional sense like competitive sense I guess would you say that you need priority to play the server I I think I mean maybe you could Play it casually as like a um uh as like a you could do it casually you passively you could like if you’re like the kind of guy who likes listening to to podcasts uh or something like that you know maybe maybe you listen to put a podcast put it in the background you Just do a lot on the computer anyways or something maybe if you’re a kid you have a lot of time to just have it idling there but yeah I would say that if you want to really play it like it’s a like it’s a like it’s an actual server you Have to you have to buy yeah and that’s it’s like what is it 240 a year yes to play on a server damn that I mean you used to play on for free you know like yeah I don’t think there’s any other are there any other servers out There that kind of get away with that you know with that kind of like that have the power to set the price at that no negotiation you know yeah and just and just and just and just make $20 per player per uh for the server well I mean I like I guess he What who is it s Pro I think s s like calculated it out oh yeah and it was like he the server makes like a million dollars a year or something like that no yeah something like that yeah or maybe no no he wanted to calculate the overall value of the Entire thing okay like which is like the server and but then even then I think it maybe it was calculated that the que priority Q makes like two like a 100 Grand a year at least um wow well let’s let’s I’m a pull out the calculator but I think I think To some degree I I can almost see it from both perspectives though because from House’s perspective the server needs to pay for itself and there’s almost no way that a server like that does pay for itself in a regular like in a regular like it wouldn’t survive let’s Say in a without priority without a way to monetize it it wouldn’t survive in the market that it servers you know it would it would it would have died out it almost did die out right it was close it almost died well they say that but I Don’t know because a server like Sim which is the which has like a like a a terabyte World SI folder like World size uh nobody pays donations for that the owner just keeps it up like and it doesn’t seem like like financially like destroying anybody well I think the Problem with 2b2 that 2B has now is the fact that it has gone that popularity right I guess that’s true yeah and if if let’s say less people start paying for it they they need a lot of hard drives or yeah they need some significantly expensive hard drives to run the map Right to have the map files and to um service the amount players they’ve got and whereas before it maybe could have been covered by like one person just you know with the job just subsidizing the cost um I I’m kind of concerned that if the because it can be a victim of its Own success to some degree oh yeah because if it gets that big and then let’s say everyone stops caring about it and nobody cares about it anymore and no one wants to pay for it yeah it’s got a problem on it hand because it’s got to This it’s got to a size now that it’s expensive to run you know know it’s a it’s not something that could probably be covered by just somebody on like unless they have a phenomenally you know high paying job right yeah I don’t think so so it’s a lot harder to host it with Being with having it having had its success that it’s had you know plus house seems kind of like a like he house seems like he kind of doesn’t care that much about 2B either you know like he only only because he made money now does he actually you know host it or whatever You know like like actually make improvements and fix the lag and all that stuff yeah well yeah I think so that’s true like if if he have if he has a financial motivation he has a reason to look after the server whereas before it sat sometimes dying from one time Where nothing could be done because the light the light it was I can’t I don’t know what the problem was but you’d log in and you couldn’t do anything and you had to out and that was it zero online and it was like what’s happening that’s zero communication nothing on the Website just like it’s just like the server’s just dead and everyone’s like yeah it’s just the way it is I’m like okay yeah who yeah who uh who could even play I guess maybe if there was one person online it would be playable but I I don’t think uh the Original owner he he doesn’t run the server anymore you know I don’t think yeah well nobody nobody knows but I think do you think that’s true do you think there’s Credence to that oh yeah I I don’t think the original owner I I I’m not based on anything like I know I I Guess it’s just more community consensus is that the guy who originally owned it stopped running it and I I I do believe that but like it was it the switch with like when do you think it switched to camping rusher time or before that it switched I think camping rusher time Okay do you think rusher just bought it or that uh he didn’t uh I don’t think he bought it um I don’t know I don’t it’s all I mean this is pure speculation you know like I think probably people who are more in the no would like actually Know what happened or whatever okay this guy in the chat seems to think he knows he says it was sold to Georgia Bush 420 around C of camping time around camping rusher time I guess really what makes you so certain about that yeah I guess that makes I heard That rumor as well cuz I feel like I just find it bizarre that they kind of still used the name housem you know having changed ownership they don’t though they uh don’t I pretty sure the at least the housem Minecraft account is gone it’s deleted oh yeah yeah I mean But people still refer to the owner of Tu beia’s house well cuz there’s no one who’s gone forward and been like I am the new owner you know it’s completely like yeah but it’s kind of strange that they don’t even have an alias you know like house deleted his account which is Kind of strange in itself you know that’s not a thing that most players do you know how many players do you know that deleted their Minecraft account yeah it is it’s odd and then the fact that the new owner doesn’t have an alias is strange as well we just call them House as if they’re the same person maybe they are but why would they delete their house account it there’s a lot of mystery around that the ownership to be I don’t think I think that’s just the way it has to be you know I think yeah probably for like the safety of the The guy if you talk to Masons xqc they talk SL between house and Bush uh has been seen tping between house okay and and uh and bush has been seen tping and using admin commands Okay so that the George Bush account still works still online sometimes I know recently there was a Not too recently but there the like 2020 maybe there was a there was some sort of Base that um got World edited um like recently like moved with uh around so maybe house is like plays on the server sometimes like or whoever it is you know I think that it probably like they need to stay they need to keep their profile like quite low you I mean they can’t really like you say their own safety really I think it’s just the way it has to be and I think that it’s the way it Should stay and people should respect that you know team of around five people are doing most of the work that’s what the Masons say that that makes sense I feel like there’s there’s whatever they keep it running having a lot of people working on it makes sense but still Someone’s running that team you know yeah 100% yeah no I get like the the desire to stay private I definitely get that I think he I if I was house I’d probably be insane well uh and I and I okay uh I’ve got actually here you go You can have the bread the new bread fresh freshly made thank you so much yes there you go Le uh I would want to keep my identity as hidden as possible if I had no intention of being a public figure you know like I’d be like hide all that hide it all Hide it all well TB players sometimes can go overboard with that stuff you know like they definitely I think there was examples of that in the past where it kind of got a little players took it like too far do you know what I mean Like the eate is you like sure it’s a game do I mean like people should respect you know you got to respect the law you know like respect you got and you got to respect the uh the game you I mean like it’s in game you I mean it Stays in game yeah yeah yeah yeah no I get what you’re saying yeah like that’s that’s like cuz that’s not even like I know that’s it justes have there was occasionally some bad apples but you know they kind of take it beyond that and it’s just like it’s just like They’re not really the part they’re just not like I don’t know it’s just not it’s not good to see really you don’t you don’t like to see it on the server oh yeah yeah like doxing and all that stuff yeah no I agree it’s it’s a it’s It’s a bad thing how’s the farm going over here uh it’s going I think the pumpkin farm is way more successful than this is you know what’s annoying wheat if you one click on a on a wheat farm it will instantly break the block below It so you have to be it’s just like like try mining some of the stuff up just like click it really quickly it is it’s fun no no like watch this oh H what no no no no okay well all right never mind then whatever you say that L it’s it’s Wow the one time it doesn’t happens when I want to use it as an example jeez okay never mind farming is easy and there’s no problems with it at all that’s what we like to hear yeah yeah the old version of Minecraft’s better right absolutely 100% I will I I I’ll I’ll die on this hill I’ll die on this hill because all my wheat breaks and it breaks the block underneath it and I can’t get food it’s exactly what made you uh want to do uh the live stream or something uh cuz I I was like thinking uh I I’ve really Recently not had a lot of motivation to do basic like builds or F make videos like I’ve just been like really uninspired and and like also I I I spend a lot of my time when I am like inspired working on ganara videos so you it’s Like the primary focus is a ganara video if I’m going to do anything and not my channel so I was like well I I I long term I don’t want to be like ideally I’d like to be my own guy you know not like uh uh the the editor forever you know so Like like I’m down to do editing for a while you know I’m not like a post it’s just like I I want to be the I like I’m I like I’m a me guy I’m I’m an attention guy I want I want the I want the people To look at me so sure then I got projects I want to be able to fund and I want to have like you know I want this channel to generate some sort of revenue for me but I I don’t have the quite the the same level of Gusto and or time that I would um to dedicate here because I’m I’m making other videos on a different Channel um yeah so I was like well what can I do that I’m pretty good at that isn’t going to make me feel like pain you know like how how you know like when I when I force out a video it’s awful and I’m like ah this sucks and it makes me never want to make a video again right like you were saying you got to enjoy what you do and I live stream oh you have to you have to yeah and live Streaming I I always uh when I do a live stream you know it’s like a bad live stream is never as bad as forcing like the recording process of or or editing process of a video I don’t want to do so okay yeah I was like I can do live Streams and then I’m like well what is interesting about live streams you got to you got to fiddle it Whittle it down to something that’s like what’s what is going to get people’s attention what what would makes a live stream more than just a one-time watch that was actually The main focus I was like I I got to think of something that that requires that would would make someone rewatch this more like why why would they come back to a live stream what what what makes a live stream different from like a podcast and then I Was thinking usually I guess it’s the content of what people are talking about and a lot of podcasts these days are just live streams so you know are live streamed like like Joe Rogan’s podcast is live streamed so it’s like I I figured I would do yeah it is it is it’s Live I I occasionally watch a clip or something from like his podcast on like YouTube or something you know yeah I didn’t know I didn’t know they were broadcast live I did not know that yeah I’m I’m at least like 90% certain that it’s it’s live because that people be Like oops I said this and then they never edit anything out and so it’s like unless they just have editors it’s like I think uh I think it’s live live like on on whatever podcast like maybe the video isn’t live but the no no no the videoos I don’t know where it’s live Though but I’m pretty sure they are live uh and it’s just like radio you know or whatever so I’m like I I want to I want to do something similar to that I want to I I want to but I like doing interviews I like talking to people and I figured well what is the best way to do that how do you get new eyes onto a stream you get you get you you get guest you get people who are new to this like particular thing you know because I I can’t you know if I make a stream I go Playing this game and it’s like who’s going to watch that that doesn’t W watch my videos already there’s no growth in that the only way that you can grow like an audience I think really through streaming is either you do some like crazy like high budget stuff like maybe Like fish tank you know you know fish tank where it’s like no no live stream house 247 or you do like IRL streams or you know you know you really innovate in the streaming world of ideas and and and projects and it’s like I could do that But I also I I wanted something that wouldn’t take like me as much time to to organize as a video right like if I really wanted to put lots of effort into streaming I am going to have to I’m going to have to put a lot of effort in Streaming when it’s is not what I want to do I want to do something that that works that I’ve done before that I can repeat that doesn’t cause me pain yeah uh this is perfect this is the perfect format for me right now and I can do Innovations but it’s like right now this is like kind of nice yeah you got I mean you’ve got to do it kind of like based on where you’re at you know I mean like I’m sure they didn’t like you know Rome isn’t building a DAT you know exact you Got you got to build it up like Mr Beast when he started making videos like what was in his budget and scope of what he could do right and he was like I can count numbers right that was the idea right he was like I can count These that’s within something I can do right so in my control I know that there’s all these crazy creators like you know R and Link or like you know there’s all these crazy YouTube creators you know high production quality you know and they’ve got a lot of stuff Going for them right but what I got is they ain’t counting to 100 or 100,000 I am right you know yeah yeah and and he’s like I can work within the tools I’ve got what I’ve got is me and a camera you know and it’s like how How can I convert This into something that’s you know entertainment um and just working with the tools you’ve got so like I I completely got that it’s like yeah you know like with some of the um stuff I made and stuff you know like I didn’t have like the craziest computer and you Know I had a computer shut down halfway through recording but I’m like be I’ll be damned right if I don’t make this video you know I I’m making this video whether this computer’s going to cooperate with me or not you know it’s it’s the motivation and the drive to Want to do it I think that you need first and foremost and you know if you exactly you can just test ideas and even if it’s all Rough Around the Edges that’s why I don’t worry so much about you know saying the wrong thing if it’s rough around the edges that’s just it’s Part of growth you know like you can just um and it shows progression like you look back on old stuff and be like wow that sucked but you need you need to be willing to let it be rough around the edges to and practice you know to get Better at you craft yeah yeah I agree with that I I I think that um I I actually I think I’m I’m I’m going to be dialing back my uh um be dialing back uh that kind of like my my approach to everything a little bit like with the editing and everything Because I I I I’m getting to the point where I get overwhelmed with like what I want to do for a video so now I’m just going to try and lower that to somewhere where I can make it approachable for myself um and I think I I think the format that I did And you know what’s crazy too it’s like I I posted that that video that I just just posted the the like Embrace tradition video 900 views I know congrat congratulations 900 views one day got more views than like the entirety of the last four videos I’ve made I’m like this Was made in 40 minutes not counting the thumbnail 40 minutes what’s it called time doesn’t equate to uh you know what uh you know views and does it really no I put like 16 hours in you know and like nobody watches it and it’s like or a few Few hundred people watch it and uh it’s a little bit interesting at the moment with like uh like my videos are consistently getting less views the more I upload as the algorithm like you know sees that a few people watch it like most I get I lose a couple of Subscribers every time I upload you know having stagnated for that long you know like not do uploading um but it’s just it’s interesting though do you know what I mean like it’s not the proba the position you want to be in as a YouTuber it’s like it’s like looking at the hall In the sinking ship and being like interesting this is interesting and so um you know I upload I like put you know put more more and more time into the videos I’m like yeah this is like the best video I’ve ever made and I’m like wow gets the least Views I’ve ever had on my entire chel but to some degree I’m kind of cool with it you know I I it doesn’t um it’s not obviously what a content creator you want to see you’re not like thrilled that like you know you’re kind of get Less views than you’ve ever had you know you’re not like oh that’s great you know like some of my friends one of my friends was saying like um you know he was like I was telling him about like you know some of my videos um you know Kind of not not doing so well and he was like yeah but you know I think more and more people are coming in to like watch them I’m like at least you’re run up with Trend I’m like no don’t think you don’t think you looked at the numbers dude but I Appreciate I appreciate the positivity I I appreciate the Assumption of uh of uh it working out yeah but um you know it’s quite it’s quite fun but it’s quite like say it’s interesting because like say some of my videos I look at it now I’m like wow that’s so Much better some of the stuff I created in the past gu seeing Improvement is such a big deal like you if you don’t see it then something’s Uh something’s not right you know if you’re not seeing yourself improve or you’re not happy with what where you’re at oh yeah yeah Mhm but it’s I get a lot of like personal satisfaction from videos I make though that’s good that is good like like I can see like I try and compare myself to where I was before you know and like views are something you can’t control so it’s not really worth like uh You can pay attention to them as like a gauge right um and it depends what your primary objective is for me it’s about being creative and expressing my passion as opposed to like hyper focus on you know becoming like massive and you know yeah uh going for I I don’t want want to Create content that I wouldn’t want to create you know you’ve got to find the balance of where you’re creating something that you’re passionate about and you can like you’re interested in like if you’re creating content that you don’t want to just because the algorithm likes wants you to right yeah that’s I Would never want to be in I’d rather have a small a very very small Channel with and and I I do have like you know people who really do enjoy my videos you know like like some I have a very small um hardcore kind of following um like a few people that Kind of watch whatever I put out there and I think yeah think that’s nice to have I think like the YouTube algorithm might be getting the wrong impression from your videos because like they’re not getting but eventually like it’ll they’ll clue in you know eventually like Yeah um oh wait I can do SL what is it SL toggle downfall yeah toggle downfall downfall yeah but like say it’s just like I’m learning from my last video I’m like wow was videos better than the last one this one’s like feels better I’ve edited this Better you I mean like the edits like I spend a little longer on them they look a little bit better I’m like I’m like proud of the video I create you know MH yeah that’s good because uh not not like a lot of people they’ll just phone It in but usually the people who phone it in uh they make the money so it’s fine I guess that’s the compromise right so I mean not always though some people you know I I think the thing is if you stick it out long enough um you people Will probably like they’ll get the idea they’ll get the hint they’ll be like oh oh I see I see it just it’s just like I mean I mean that’s the cope at least you know yeah well you can adapt your style you know and try and merge be creative You know it’s kind of like a game you know it’s kind of like what can I do it’s like playing a game that’s like there aren’t any defined rules of the game you know it’s the same with like creating a video for me it’s it’s almost like a game because Minecraft doesn’t Tell you you need to download a what’s it called cinematic recording mod uh you know go ahead and fly out to you know bases and try and find all the angle that’s not how it’s not a conventional play style right yeah but it’s like a Game you know for me it’s like it’s an interesting way I can play the game that I enjoy and I can create something and the end product is it’s very satisf it’s very satisfying to look back on something you’ve created like that you know like I look back at my old videos And the thing I don’t really you know my commentary commentary I don’t really like you know I don’t listen to all that you know I just kind of ski through that but I uh I will look back you know my cinematics I’ll be like wow you know I’m Glad glad that I did that I never look back and think I wasted my time on those cinematics I feel like I look back on and think that was a good use of time you know I know I wasted a lot of time on the other things you know over the Years and stuff but that was one of the things I don’t think that was a waste of time in my opinion and I I I think that a lot of jobs like if if you do a job that doesn’t produce an output like that you Know um yeah a lot of people yeah they do it for the the money or whatever and then you’re just you’re soulless you’re you’re you know it’s not like you’re soulless but you know like you feel empty yeah 100% like or or you feel like you struggled to like say what you spend Your time on you know like I can look back and be like that’s what I was doing six years ago you know I made those videos um whereas if I the time in between there I can’t look back and say I did that in that time yeah I can That’s it’s the same reason people take photographs in real life you know they have their Cate created insta feed to be like Ah that’s what I did in that time and some degree my channel reflects that in a digital realm you know like that kind same kind of same kind of thing I Was there I did that um and I made that cinematic you know obviously takes quite a lot of effort so you know to make the cinematics um but it was it’s it’s hard to motivate yourself to make the cinematics and do it but I’m never I’m Always glad when I have and I look back on it and think you know that’s that’s good and I I I miss that with the job that I have you know I’m like I I don’t look back in the same way and be like I’m so so uh there’s just nothing There’s not the same thing I can look back on and be like really proud of you know and it’s I guess it’s something with art you know can look back at a painting and be like I created this or a video I created this a like a like Musicians they can listen back to their their instruments and be like I created that you know I mean like that’s what I did you know and it’s really tangible it’s like really there and people around you can appreciate that you I mean like you can show somebody a a picture or a Music the thing and and then other people can appreciate it too which is kind of cool as well yeah but that’s just the the magic of the uh you know creative artarts I guess or they kind of like um it’s a kind of a luxury to do it As a job though you know it is it is actually odd to think about it that way because like the people everyone like I think ideally would want to do well I mean not everyone I it is odd when you meet someone who was like I don’t want To do anything fulfilling as my main main main stay job or something like that I I just want to get money and go home watch YouTube or something and then never think about anything ever again it’s like odd but you do meet people like that but like I feel like most People would want to have like a job where they get to just like Express themselves you know or like when they get they have a job where they look back on what they’ve done and they feel like you know proud about it you know and I I think there aren’t yeah it actually There there I guess that I feel like there there probably are like more of that in the world than you might think like I feel like people who do construction probably feel that with a building when they look at a building yes even if they don’t even like doing Construction they probably think back on the building they go wow they help yeah you build that you know MH or like a plumber be like I fixed that lady’s sink you know yeah exactly you know whatever so there’s like a fulfillment it’s just in kind of like a different way and it’s Like I’ve never like for me I’ve never I’ve never thought of like hm what do I want to do in life and I go well I want to make movies shows art of some kind like something like something like that I want to make some sort of story like Some sort of entertainment media of some kind like that’s just always been a thing I think of and I go like I don’t think I could get F fulfillment from working any other kind of job like I really yeah like it’s just something about it just like I’ve never in my life Thought hm yes scientist I want to be a scientist H engineer architect doctor whatever just like because people who think that and they go yeah I want to be that it just never has like cleed in for me for some reason well you’re an editor you’re an Editor so yeah you do get the uh I guess you get the satisfaction of having you been on the journey and produced something you know yeah your skills all the time and for it you know I learn I get paid money to do what I would do for Free it’s great yeah you you almost you you be like you say like you’re being paid to uh to uh improve your talents like you’re getting better all the time and you’re enjoying it so I assum you enjoy it yeah and then at the end like I Get like a project that product that’s like crazy it’s like you know I get to look back in all this editing that I and I went wow I did a great job with this this is my best work I think it’s the same with coders like people who are like doing code they Have like portfolios don’t they they have like pages and and that’s why they always work on free projects too yeah yeah yeah cuz they enjoy it yeah yeah and they get the satisfaction and and street cred you know street cred yeah that street yeah yeah you get that If you make a YouTube video that’s cool too that’s so true yeah it’s like a coding is an art and so same with uh same with all the other stuff it is actually yeah it’s about finding one that resonates with you though you know like if you to you coding might feel Like you know chore you know if you try it like I I wouldn’t get fulfillment from that but like for other people yeah yeah 100% oh well I actually I would like to continue but I I am getting like a little bit tired how long have we been streaming For let’s see what is this I was going to ask I was going to ask the same question it has been come on there’s there’s got to why is it not as why is this not easy to find out for me okay I no it doesn’t just tell me the how long I’ve been streaming for like number of hours I have to go to my own YouTube channel I can’t even see it in the like display tab unless I’m I’m like tripping I’m tripping down the stairs DP down those steps all right let’s see I still got the same thumbnail that’s so Frustrating literally no one’s GNA no one would have clicked on it because of that it has been it’s been three hours we’ve been streaming for three hours oh going a while yeah yeah and my voice is are is your voice also giving out a little bit uh a little bit yeah I Haven’t spoke much today CU I was like G to be doing this live stream so you got to conserve my words exactly conserve my words I I only have so many words I can speak in a day and I know that s got this you know interviewer or uh you know GNA be interviewed you know so I was like GNA be uh try and do my first interview and at least uh you know try try try my best to Pasta Pasta is the king of long-term streaming like he did a 9 hour stream yesterday AB yesterday yesterday yeah W what absolute champ Yeah yeah oh no wait no maybe it was new New Year’s two but that was yesterday I’m that was a year ago he did it a year ago Dude wow last year little past is going crazy with the live streams yeah yeah last year though right now he Hasn’t done any new streams this year wow but he’s slacking you know 2019 to 2020 stream I did uh he did a 20 hour stream one time H we oh is he still in the chat yeah he’s still in the chat out what did we do today so we started at spawn we explored the um what was it called the what was the original structure at spawn called The Flat Lands Was it oh the flat lands yeah the Flatlands yeah the Flatlands was really interesting I like that build um we then you know we went ahead and we went to small building what’s the guy’s name simple small builds simple small builds we checked his his uh his abod out his Uh base from 2023 Yeah Christmas Christmas cake base or the the the cake base um yeah it was the I want to say Boulders gate but that’s not right that’s a video game it’s obsidian gate something gate yeah that was cool I enjoyed T that was really I love the the The patterning the texturing with the like obsidian and the Cobblestone and the regular Stone like I I like that a lot yeah that was uh I like that and uh it’s nice for you to I appreciate having a base to sub you know very in theme you know keeping it a surprise I Didn’t know this until we get we start you know um and what what did we do after that we went exploring we found the we found the castle we found Castle we found some games we played some sple we played sple on our adventure you know Um sapl got wrecked I twice I I didn’t even get to redeem myself it crazy I know I’m sorry we’ll have to do round two at some point oh yeah next time we’ll do a round two when we when we uh do the tour of the the library that Simple is working on 100% And then where did we go after that just I’m just doing a recap of the stream today yes uh then we continued walking and we found random oh we found that other base with the noodle noodle stairs crazy noodles we found the sky noodle yeah yeah the sky Noodle that’s what it is the sky Noodle and that thing was epic just coming into render it’s just so fitting like the time period like this you know like an old server you just find this random Sky noodle thing coming to render and you’re like like yeah that’s I know I made that That’s the sky no I did that a year ago yeah yeah it’s kind of cool to see that and and then we came over here and made a we made a a little pathway here um and made a jungle temple or our little like a temple house but it’s kind Of hard to uh build at the same time as focusing on the thoughts you know I it pretty good though oh thank you thank thank you I did notice when we were what’s it called originally starting and stuff you were like running around in circles when uh when some you were Replying to the chat it was quite funny you’d be replying to the chat like where are we going I’m just like I’m thinking like where where are we going where we are we going anywhere You’ just be going around in circles for like five minutes like oh this is okay I’ll just Wait for S finish with this point finish moving around yeah no I got a I got a bit of a problem with that no it’s all good I like the cocoa beans as like lamps those are cool thank you yeah I I wanted to put a bed up There but um we don’t have any
