Hey guys how’s it go it’s me Sheamus and we are back here in Minecraft for for a bit of a tutorial video yeah yeah hey like that Sheamus is going to tell you how to do stuff yeah so something new something different anyway as you can probably tell by the title this tutorial

Video is on brewing i’m going to show you guys how to properly brew potions for those of you that don’t know because a lot of people actually don’t know how to properly do potions up so let’s let’s get to it alright so now I’m going to start you

Guys off at the very very basics to do brewing you need a couple of things the most important of which are these they’re called brewing stands to craft them you have a blaze rod and three Kabul I’ve blaze rods in the middle Kabul all across the bottom it’s very

Very easy recipe it’s pretty much the only reason I ever go to the nether and in addition to those you’re going to need a water source now you can do this couple of ways you can make an infinite water source like this or it can get cold rooms our cold rooms are pretty

Easy it’s same thing as pants just upside down and then you’ve got to take up water bucket and fill it up and that’s that easy it’ll work for 333 thingies so if you take a glass bottle you can do it three times and then you have to refill it again so pre pretty

Simple not that hard pretty basic really though the infinite water source is better just just putting that out there all right so there are a couple a couple different potions you can make that are fundamental to all of brewing now we’re going to get started on that I

To do it first you’re going to need to fill up the brewing stands with water bottles now to do that you’d go to your water source whether coldren are infinite and you right click it I’ll give you a water bottle do this a couple of times because each brewing sting can

Hold three potions so since I have one to have four so I need 12 water bottles of 123456789 cool hey just shove him in there and we can get started alright so the first fundamental potion i’m going to show you guys is the awkward potion now to do this it’s very

Very simple all you have to do is take nether wart which you can find in the nether you can grow it on Sol San so yeah and you just put it on top of the water water bottles that’s going to go it’s going to take a minute and while

That’s running we’re going to go ahead and show you how to do the next potion which i believe is thick potion now to do thick potion you have glowstone dust and you do the same thing and just shove it in there okay and the last one is the

Mundane potion now this this one you can make a lot of ways you shove it in like you did the glowstone in the nether work but you can use glistening melon sugar blaze powder spider I magma cream or a gas here to do it so you just shove them

In and the run it’s that easy we’re going to let these cook up and I’ll see you guys as soon as they’re done alright so now if we go back into it because I let the little time path to let them finish will see that the nether wart

Turned into the awkward potion glowstone dust turn into the thick potion and these guys turn into the mundane potion now these ones would also turn into the mundane potion but I’m not going to waste your guys it’s time by going through all of that so let’s let’s put these bottles back clear inventory

And we’re going to go ahead and leave the awkward potions in because they’re the ones you want to make to be fully honest there’s no reason in Game two ever really make the thick potion or the mundane potion because the thick and mundane potion their uses are very very

Limited as opposed to the awkward potion which can be the basis for any potion so I was just showing you guys how to if you ever did want to make the thicker mundane but really you want to make the awkward potion if you’re if you’re ever

Going to brus so let’s go ahead and pull these out / clear and let’s get some more awkward did i misspell awkward hang on aw aw cute oh okay I can’t create a motor in that’s a bunch of crap hey guys all right so now now that we have our our

Awkward potions all lined up i’m going to show you guys how to brew one of my favorite potions the healing potion now it’s very very simple all you need is the awkward potion which we’ve got over there and glistening mountain now to make listening melon what you do is you

Take melon and you surround it in gold nuggets very simple so let’s take some of that and let’s throw it in just like that it’s pretty simple so we’re going to let that run and as soon as it’s done we will be back all right so our healing potions are

Finished and yes i know there’s bottles missing from that okay but our healing potions are finished so what we’re going to do now is we’re going to turn over from regular healing potions to healing potions to or instant health to whatever it’s called me to do that what we do is

We take glowstone dust and we throw it in there now you’ll notice I have some gunpowder here I’m going to go ahead and show you guys while that’s cooking how to turn regular potions into throwing potions and all you do is you take gunpowder and you throw it into the

Brewing stand you let it run it’ll turn into throwing now throwing let me explain to you guys why we’re missing some some potions here I wasn’t sure if throwing potions were as good as the potions you drink so i went ahead and tested it out and the the ones you drink

Seem to heal you for half a heart and more than throwing one so there’s not much of a difference but there is that slight difference there so just just to let you know and we’ll see that this is finished cooking it really doesn’t take long for brewing stands to

Cook their stuff so you’ll see turn it into instant health to which will heal you for a whole lot more in fact i’m gonna go ahead and use some of that yeah i don’t know how many hearts that was but maybe you guys can tell me let me go ahead and been chillin

Alright and I’ll be right back i’m going to reset my stuff here and show you guys the next potion alright so the next potion we’re going to take a look at is the potion of water breathing now this is a fairly new potion what you do is you take your your

Awkward potion which we have we have right over here and you throw your puffer fish which you can get from fishing on any body of water and you just throw it in there let it cook and it should turn into a potion of water breathing alright so our potions done

Turned into a potion of water breathing which you should have now you’ll notice that this one unlike the healing potion has a little time limit and three minutes now there’s a neat little trick you can do with redstone you can increase this time limit so if we throw

This in here it should change from three minutes to eight minutes which as you can see it it just did yeah like that magic that’s the fasting fastest brewing I’ve ever seen yeah why and of course this this will let you breathe underwater so pretty nifty for a little underwater exploration if that’s

What you’re doing water breathing it’s nifty it’s real nifty give your bubbles and milk if you guys didn’t know milk will milk will get rid of any any potion effect see all you got to do is drink it it’s gone it’s useful for your poisoned or slowed

Or anything like that always have bucket of milk on you if you’re going against a witch to the next potion all right the next one is fire resistance which is probably one of the more important potions this is the one you want to have if you’re going into the nether if

You’re going to be mining this this is just one you want to have now in order to make it you’re going to need magma cream now you can either find magma cream off of magma cubes in another or you can make it using blaze powder and

Slime all you got to do is put it right next to each other in the crafting bench and it’ll turn magma cream real simple and what you do is you take your awkward potion throw a little magma cream on it and it turns into this nifty little thing called the fire resistance now

You’ll notice this is another one timer on it so if we bring in a little bit of red stone and throw it on it it’ll go just like the water breathing potion from three minutes to eight minutes real simple real easy I got to do is have the

Redstone so while that’s cooking let’s move on to the next potion Xiao Wei ok so the next potion is it’s a detrimental potion i’m going to show you guys how to build a potion of slowness now it’s real simple you’ll notice I’ve left the fire resistance here which by the way i went

Up to eight minutes and what you need now in addition to the fire resistance is a fermented spider I now to make fermented spider eyes all you need is a spider i a mushroom of either color brown or red doesn’t matter and some sugar throw it all into your

Little crafting thing and it will come out as a fermented spider I now all you got to do is take your fire resistance here and throw it on top now you’ll notice i’m leaving this one at three minutes no redstone now that should turn into a regular 3-minute potion of

Slowness however if you take some fire resistance that already had redstone on it and you throw the fermented spider eye on it it should turn into a potion of slowness that will last for eight minutes now of course you can go over here and you can take your redstone onto

Your potion of slunt hang on hang out hang on guys let me check my facts yeah yeah I’m sorry I don’t make this potion a lot so I was going off with all right negative potions don’t really last as long as positive potions so instead of three

Minutes this one’s a minute and a half instead of eight minutes this one’s going to be four minutes so it’s negative potions last half as long as positive potions so we’ll see four minutes here and of course we can throw some redstone on this and it’ll last for

Minutes as well so i’m sorry about that guy thought that was that was my fault that was my fault I’m sorry I should check my facts I’ll check my facts from now on check-in my facts ma’am check alright the next potion i’m going to show you guys is swiftness potion really

Easy to make really kind of also impossible to screw up now all you need is some sugar and make sugar all you got to do is take some sure came throw into your crafting thing that’s all you got to do for the sugar and throw it in now

You’ll notice my hotbar is kind of full here with four sugars now there’s a couple things you can do a swiftness potion and i’m going to show you guys all of them so let’s let’s load up our brewing stands and I’ll see you guys as soon as these

Are done all right k so now that that’s done i’m going to show you what you can what you can do a swiftness potion now you can do one of a few things you can take redstone to it because you’ll see that it has a little timer on it but

You’ll also see that down there it says in purple when applied plus twenty percent speed now you can alter that with glowstone kind of like we did with the healing potion to improve the effect remember redstone affects the time limit but glowstone of improves the effect i

Can do one or the other be cannot do both so on this one I’m going to throw on the redstone on this one I’m going to throw on the glowstone now you can also turn potion of swiftness into a throne potion which is just pretty nifty if I do shake show

Michelle now if we look back here we’ll see as soon as this finishes up that the three minutes will improve to an eight minute timer which we expected now this one turned into speed too but it doesn’t last quite as long but that’s because it has a greater effect plus forty percent

Speed and this one of course turned into a throne potion an interesting little thing you can turn yeah no cloud closeout now you can turn these into a throne potion but I don’t think they I don’t think they have quite as good of an effect now also what you can

Do if i can assume glowstone yeah thank you you can go back if you change your mind and switch them up so if you throw some redstone on to the potion swiftness and you decide I need this to be a you know faster then that’s okay

You can change your mind and go back and you can change it up so oh well I was wrong again how about that but it doesn’t last quite as long so it isn’t quite as good because it doesn’t last as long but it gives you the same

Effect so I was half right I was half right 1 minute 7 seconds that’s two rather particular time limit there but you’ll see we managed to switch this to speed to from speed one alright let’s speed potion and speed on to the next thing okay so

The next potion we’re going to look at is the potion of poison now this potion is is pretty nifty in that you know to poison stuff all you gotta do is take your awkward potion and throw on a spider I’m that’s it that’s all it takes

Now what you can also do is once this finishes you can throw in some glowstone dust to improve the effect it’s a pretty much it yeah that’s about all you can do pretty sure I’m checking my facts now you can also throw some redstone on to

It yes I’m checking my facts during the video yeah and the reason you can do that is because it both has time and it has effects oh yeah alright so the next post we’re going to look at is the potion of harming as is a this pretty nifty potion you’ll notice I

Have potions of healing here and I left our poisons here because to make potions of harming what you do is you take a fermented spider angin anyone more you take a fermented spider I which can be made again through this little recipe here mushroom sugar and spider on

And you throw it in on your potions of poison and healing and they’ll turn into potions apartment now of course as you would want to with potions or poison or with potions of harming or any real harmful potion throw gunpowder on to it to make it a throne potion that way you

Know you can use it on your enemies you’ll see it turn into damage potion which is pretty nifty nice little weapon of mass destruction now you could drink it if you want but I don’t really know why you would want to you would hurt yourself why would you want to hurt

Yourself do you have something against you have a personal vendetta against yourself dude you really should not you really shouldn’t that’s it’s bad this you’re a good person I think I don’t know you but I’m gonna assume you’re a good person are you a good person should

I not believe you’re good ru evil you you went with the sword of Aeons didn’t you you sacrificed your sister just to get the sword should have known I should have known fable reference you guys Jenny anyone get that no maybe I donno next potion

All right to the next potion is a pretty handy potion we’re gonna take a look at the potion of night vision now what you got to do is you got to get a golden carrot which is pretty easy to do it’s the same as the glistening melon you put

A carrot and you surrender in golden nuggets so yeah and you throw it on top of an awkward potion now potion a night vision it both has a time limit and just a time limit so glowstone dust really wouldn’t do you any good here what you need is redstone

To improve the time and it would pretty much pretty much treat it as if you have your gamma at a million so yep potion of night vision pretty useful I would demonstrate but my gamma is at 10,000 so yeah I’m a dirty cheater now we’re going

To jump right into the next potion it’s the potion of invisibility you know that one potion everybody always wants it’s really really easy to do once you have a potion of night vision like this all you need is a fermented spider I that’s it golden carrot fermented spider I makes

You a potion invisibility now what I always do with potions with invisibility is I will take redstone to increase the time because three minutes of invisibility is just not long enough I want to be invisible forever you know The Invisible Man be amazing see all right so we’re gonna

We’re gonna let these cook up I’m gonna go and visit on yeah yeah yeah yes milk and we’re gonna go ahead and move on to the next potion so I’ll see you guys in just second alright guys so the next potion is one of the most handy potions ever but it’s

Also one of the hardest to make because we’re going to take a look at the regeneration potion now all you need to do this is a gas here that’s it just a ghast here but gas tears as you guys probably know are not that easy to get

So all you got to do is throw it in there any app it this way and that’s going to make you your potion of regeneration now potions of regeneration they’ll work with glowstone they’ll work with redstone every potion works with gunpowder so yeah but what I like to do

With regeneration since you can improve the effect or the time limit since they only last for 45 seconds what I like to do is I’ll take redstone and turn it from 45 seconds to 2 minutes it’s still not a lot of time but it’s it helps that’s my own personal opinion you know

If you want you can bump it up to regeneration to for like 20 seconds I think it’s really not all that long here in fact let me let me check potion of oh wait is that it right there Hey Ya Ya 22 seconds so yeah that’s the potion of

Regeneration real nifty if you’re going into a battle ender dragon or going to the nether this is always a potion you want a half so yeah move on to the next potion alright guys so we’re coming down to the final few potions the next one is the

Potion of strength real handy what you need is you need some blaze powder and to make blaze powder I need to blaze rod you throw it into your crafting thing and it should make like to blaze powder and you throw that on top of your awkward potion just like Nia and it’s

Going to turn into a potion of strength which is another potion that works with both glowstone and redstone and it you know increases the effect and it’s pretty pretty awesome actually you know it will help you if you’re trying to just clear out mobs from your

Your home if you’re going against a big bonus enemy this is just a potion you want to have it’s really useful and you’ll notice plus one hundred thirty percent attack damage that’s pretty Opie and if you use glowstone on it I think it only lasts for a little over a minute

And increases your attack by two hundred and thirty percent I think that’s what I want to say it does strength potion yeah I’m cheating okay eight minutes okay 260 I was a little off but yeah still but it only lasts for a minute and 30 so you

Gotta weigh your options here guys gotta weigh your options all right guys it’s time for the last potion the final one that is the one the only potion of weakness that’s right guys potion weakness time now we’re going to need some fermented spider eyes which again

You can make like this and over here I’ve got potions of strength and potions of regeneration not to make potions of a weakness no yes a potion will be on again I don’t know anymore its potion of weakness I do is to take your fermented

Spider eyes and you put them on top of her gin or strength potions we’ll let that cook up should take like five more seconds dish maybe yeah it’s done all right and you’ll see it lasts for a minute 30 and it’s minus point five attack damage that’s not really too much

But that’s something now this is another potion that will work with both glowstone and redstone and of course every potion works with with gunpowder any potion can be a throne potion so we’re going to throw these on here let them cook up and let’s take a look at

The differences I’m a liar okay so it doesn’t actually work with glowstone dust um I thought it did I honestly thought it did but it doesn’t so yeah you want to throw some redstone on it and it’ll last instead of a minute 30 it’ll last for four minutes so yeah

In that I believe is all the potions oh but one more thing you can also make a mundane potion with redstone so in addition to the spider I magma cream listening melon blaze powder sugar can cast here you can also use redstone so yeah still not a potion you want to make but
