SECRET NETHER PORTAL HOUSE in Minecraft 1.20 Survival

Welcome back to the let’s play series last episode we found our first diamonds found a skeleton spawner and built up this blacksmith building complete with an auto furnace and a place to store all of our ores but today we’re going to take on our biggest adventure yet by

Exploring the Nether and then expanding our village by building a nether portal house now in between episodes I did a whole bunch of mining at Diamond level and also a load of iron level to hopefully I’m not going to need to go mining for stone this episode so yeah

We’re all up to date now I thought I’d bring you back in because I have some old to smel you know I’m going to take these diamonds too we’re going to need those later but yeah I figured I’d show off the smeltery system working put the

Gold up in there and then the iron up in here furnaces start going and if I wait for a few minutes oh man this is exciting you can see that Rion and gold is getting smelted into this double chest pretty cool oh yeah I also built this path in

Between episodes I guess I’ll throw up a quick time lapse but yeah this is obviously connecting our two buildings together just making this place feel a little bit more like home oh wondering Trader please Moss I kind of do want Moss eh I mean it wasn’t cows but you still

Get the point look I even got leather but at this point I think we should find a spot for today’s build got a building there we got a building there now we are building a nether portal building today so I don’t think I want it to be too

Close to home that portal sound is pretty annoying I mean how about here opposite the blacksmith it’s kind of far away enough let sat on a little Hill I’m just going to clear out a little bit of space here cuz right now I don’t have

Too much of a plan for this build I’m not too sure how big it’s going to be I mean ideally the same size as our other two build want to try and make sure I keep stuff to the same scale in this Village yeah I feel this spot could be

Pretty good with a little bit of work might need to raise up the terrain along here maybe could have a path come along this way get out tree you’re in the way so I think if we go this way it should connect up to the path outside the

Blacksmith which is just up here oh yeah we can make something work like that in fact I might clear those trees out now that way I can just visualize the path a little bit better oh yeah through there that’s good yep okay right just going to

Quickly pop back to the base so I can pop in here and have a quick sleep and I’m hoping been in a storage room I got a whole bunch of dirt I mean not really maybe I left a bunch at the blacksmith I did use quite a lot

Terraforming in this last episode oh here’s a bit more we’re good that should be enough I just want to sort out the terrain up at the build site there and maybe come up with a sort of build outline just to give myself a better idea of what I’m doing today I think I’m

Going to raise up the land over this side maybe connect it up to there we’ll bring this around as well and then just fill it in all right that’s looking pretty good I think I might bring out the land this way as well yes that seems nice fill it

In fill it in all right bit of a floaty bit here now um this trees is going to have to go I’m going to run out of dirt doing this take away some of you you’re coming with me bit of torch in here as well you know what I probably deserve

This here can be some sort of Tower and I’m thinking what if we sort of built the portal into the tower like the tower is like the actual nether portal that could be kind of cool oh man but I need some of obsidian aren’t I um that’s

Right let’s head over to the blacksmith and upgrade some of our tools so this should be smelted up by now oh yes thank you right I should actually place a crafting table in here shouldn’t I um boom right so first diamond pick of the

Obsidian and start building up this portal I think we’re going to go this sort of shape here and fill in the corners with Cobblestone cuz I do not want to mine any more obsidian than I need to that’s four five 6 M that’s free cam that high enough oh yeah I think

That’s going to be high enough we’ll go Cobble 1 2 3 and then we’ll just build up oh didn’t want to misplace It okay don’t do that again right we going to connect these up boom I’m hoping this is going to be enough obsidian to do all of this I think we should be good all right one more pillow yeah we’re fine we’re fine we’re fine six to spare that’s enough for an

Come down to the smelter oh yeah you can see I’m smelting up some Cobblestone smooth there and a sight here right it’s going to gra a whole bunch of stone stuff then we can get to decorate in that portal and yeah here it is well what I’ve got

So far anyway can see I sort of built like a sort of stone foundation around the portal and that goes all the way around I tried to sort of gradient the Moss and the mossy Cobble and stuff so it’s sort of going from Moss to Mossy to

Cobble to and theight at the top some overgrown Vibes with the leaves and the Moss I mean there still is more I want to add on top of this Tower but I think first I’m going try and take a trip to the nether now obviously we are going to

Need to light the portal so I think if I come up to the blacksmith should be some iron in here yeah and a flint perfect which means we can make our flint and steel I think I’m just going to grab a few more blocks here cuz I’ve have no

Idea what this nether spawn is going to be like or I’m praying for a good one cuz I’m hoping to get both of the wood types the Warped and the Crimson log things so we’ll come into the middle here light up all of these ow God

Then I guess we can just try it when we get home I should probably grab some stream lights as well these are pretty cool we’re probably fit in pretty well with the nether house don’t I really have any idea what I’m doing yet okay brilliant right inventry is

Full let’s get some of this out and I guess I mean it’s not conventional gold axe that’s better than nothing oh God it breaks so fast oh the durability is almost gone right that’s probably enough of this Crimson wood maybe I get a little bit more of this gold right

There’s the warp stuff I think I’m going to make my way over there as carefully as possible oh dear right sold at the ready oh yeah he’s actually mad and they hit hard please die okay everything’s fine just eat oh actually I see another one pretty sure they’re scared of mushrooms

I think that’s a thing you know what I just need to get in get out I hate the nether I just want some nice colored wood all right here we are some easy access wood with my Golden Axe can’t even pick it up there we go oh right

Crafting table make an Ingot make another ax back on track right that’s going to have to do 45 of those 59 of those I guess I pick up some of these mushrooms just in case I’m hoping we can plant those and with that I’m going to

Make my way back to the portal I think it’s up there oh there’s lots of quarts here I’m probably going to mine that I’m Board of mining oh go on go on I don’t think he’s interested in me that’s probably for the best right I think we’re getting close now there’s my

Walls here just as a bit of a guide there’s still a lot to do to this but we’re going to get on to that I’ve spent a bit of time Gathering all the materials that we’re going to need to build up the walls and also grabb the stuff to build some scaffolding because

I’m not too sure why I’ve not made that yet I’m sure this is going to come in super handy oh yeah I thought we’d start with this wall of course start running through a bit of texturing just like we did on this Tower I’m not really the

Best at this I have like a basic understanding I think you know what before I start I might actually knock out space for Windows and Doors I think we have a door here maybe a window there and a window there yeah that’ll probably be good so like I saying I start off

With a bit of moss we’ll just do the front together then every block that is touching Moss I’m going to replace with mossy cobblestone so this one here here I’m pretty sure you’re getting the idea yep cool rhyme so we got something looks a little bit like that and towards the

Top I’m going to start placing it in a bit of and theight but not touching any of the mossy cobblestone so maybe something like that it looks a little flat and boring now but don’t you worry we’re going to make that look way better in a bit going to pop around the back

Here and do all the texturing just in case we end up building around the backer there plus I always do the back of my build oh hello oh I think he’s gone I was about to say we have our first resident but apparently not right

I think that I’ll do and make a couple of andite stairs I’ll Truck those just here and I think some Cobblestone stairs as well to put these above the windows boom boom we’ll get some glass panes in there get a little doorway in and of course that’s going to need an actual

Door and Bam there we go door now want to move on to the trim just above the stone just like we got here and you can see on the blacksmith I use oak logs but as soon as this is a nether house why don’t we use some nether wood like this

Crimson stuff we need to get a layer of this all the way around the top I think we’re going to leave this section for now soz I’m not too sure what I’m going to do with it we’ll get some stairs across here run some slabs across okay

Okay I don’t want all these buildings to be the same so there we’ve used logs so I think here we’re going to use barrels and we’ll connect those up with slabs and then upside downstairs in the middle how does this look oh yeah yep I think that’s the one

You can see the Crimson poking through there would trap doors here be too much E Yeah it kind of is too much goodbye trap doors right now just going to do the same thing on the back don’t worry I won’t make you sit through this there we

Go all done a yeah now what do we do next we do our Spruce pillars 1 2 3 I can do that easy there we go and we got create some arches with stairs and trap doors oh can I parkour over to there oh I can I can I’m a genius and

Boom arches in we’ll get some extra trap doors here just for a bit of extra shape just like that right now for the walls here we did white over there we’ve done Oak and once again I’m sure you’ve all guessed it it’s a nether house right

Let’s put in some of this warp stuff and stair glass stair boom boom boom right please look good please look good please look good oh yes it actually looks good yes though that bit is looking a little bit weird what if we just do a barrel

And just more Spruce yeah I think that looks pretty tidy maybe drink a few more leaves in there or something you can always fix stuff with leaves all right now just to figure out the roof h right stairs coming out there dark oak trap doors here dark oak slabs running along

The top just like that I’m kind of aware this is a little bit slow for a Minecraft video I’ve not really talk through the roof before I think it’s always been in a time lapse so it kind of seems to make sense to do it together

I think for this one we’re just going to go one block at a time till we get to the middle which is there I can’t place it right that trap door is going to have to go and that’s where the roof will come across I think it’s going to keep

This one super simple we did something really steep like this one I think we’ reached too high on the tower so as you can see on the blacksmith there we just did like a one block thing so I think we going to replicate that which is nice

Cuz it keeps it nice and simple now we just connect these up at the top and as I jump down I’m going to break this Cobble I do not want that on the house other than you know all down there if I can snake my way over right make this jump

Oh we pretend we didn’t see that I mean you don’t need to see this I’m just going to do the same thing on the other side oh I’m a okay it does actually need to come up one Higher that’s fine have to break these you’ll have to go that’s the middle all right

Basic roof trim is in oh we got so many guests I all down there oh we’re getting overrun hello I want to pick up my blocks please thank you oh something tells me those guys are going to get annoying now at this point they’re going

To take a little step back just to check out what that’s looking like and yeah I like that we get a better view up here there we go yeah I I’m really liking that definitely thinking we have a lower roof here maybe just slap one right on

Top of that let’s quickly get that done obviously there’s still quite a lot of work to do here so got fill in this wall here and over there I got to fill in the roof as well I’m really hoping this will look good cuz I do want to stick with

The orange theme we’ve got I think that’ll look pretty good for those colors oh please tell me I have enough blocks I don’t want to go back to the Mesa again oh not me walking into a tree come on please wrong chest please that’s probably not going to be enough is it

Ah right give me a couple of sticks and give me a diamond diamond shovel don’t forget your bed this time and red sand and finish off the exterior Montage let’s do It and here we are roof on kind of got these side walls built up as as well I Me Maybe it could use a little bit more detail I wasn’t really too sure what I wanted to do with that that probably didn’t get shown off in the time lapse

I’ve sorted out the back here as well I’ve kind of just done this Spruce I don’t know why but I kind of like it yeah everything is all filled in now I just want to make a few slabs that’s probably way too many and a few fences

This SP is a little bit awkward there’s not really anywhere for a window I think if we do that couple of fences got a nice space for a little lean to there and I think I’ll just strug a few chests and some barrels will look nice as well right break you Barrel

Chest right that takes care of that little awkward spot next up though yeah yeah it’s not looking so hot in here is it some little steps up to that and then of course they got to clear out all this floor which thanks to editing happens instantly for you now I think I’m going

To go with some of this Cobble deep slate again just like we did in the blacksmith I did really like the look of that please be enough oh yeah it’s going to be enough oh and you know what I did have a pretty cool idea got these shroom

Lights here that’s probably isn’t going to work on the bottom floor but if you put these stream lights behind the windows and over here as well there should look pretty cool oh yeah yep I like that I think with that I’m probably not going to put anything up there we’ll

Just decorate downstairs because I only really want somewhere just to store my sort of nethery bits this has got me thinking if I pillar up in the middle of the portal put them in these windows as well I think that could look pretty nice I can finally get you as well right last

Few in and I feel like this is going to look pretty good pretty nethery oh yeah yep that is really nice you know what if we take a step back here and a too Mercedes yes look at that is glowing oh that is really cool y works there as well it’s a

Shame we can’t do anything on the bottom but well if we have them in there it’s just going to be in the way so with that I need to work on a little ceiling here now this is a little bit awkward cuz we got this thing here so what I might need

To do is knock out these stairs and I think they’ve gone through the portal so I’ve knocked out those stairs and we’ll put more bit lower down just so the archway is a little bit lower maybe a little bit more I think where I want the ceiling to be I’ve lost another one

Through the portal man right an aite will have to do short look good yep all right cuz I kind of thinking I want the ceiling to be maybe this level so we come across here you know what kind of hiding the arch a little bit or if we

Come up another one yep I think that’s the height that looks pretty nice I’m not going to need to worry about lighting up there thanks to those shroom lights I’m not the biggest fan of this so what happens if we just put some slabs along there that might give the

Ceiling a little bit of shape Yep looks pretty good looks pretty tidy not mad about that oh just about to say We’ll block off this room but that’s obviously for good reason that room will literally be the death of me this is going to texturing up a bit isn’t it right get a

Bit of moss in here bit of Mossy Cobble not perfect but it works all I really want in here is just a few chests and barrels may we just put a load out the front but whatever not really the interior guy just slap there and I don’t know that looks right I’ll

Tell you what we could do maybe carry on with the overgrown sort of theme you got going on so if I pop back to the main storage room yep we got some leaves well I’ll tell you what bring some of these flowers and I think it’s in here brewing

Stand we’ll bring that as well NE house seems like a good place to keep that and I did smell up all the clay that we got earlier I should be able to make a bunch of pots and stuff yes get a bunch of those we can make these decorated pots

That’s what they’re called the big ones oh my God they don’t stack oh god um right just dump some random stuff in I kind of want all of this right I guess we’ll just craft them when we’re there right let’s throw some pots around maybe

Chuck some of these flow and AER in they look pretty good A bring stand on there maybe some big pots in the corner little pots inside of them some flowers oh an interior genius do you need to craft in table in here so I just put that there I

Can put the door back as well um if in doubt Chuck some leaves in yeah I mean this looks fine you know what maybe a little heavy on the leaves here I think maybe One Last Detail after 360 sleep I can’t promise that it won’t happen again all right share some red

Sheep pick up more red wool and make carpets oh yeah this is going to be nice yeah I think maybe something like that kind of looks like a turtle or something right I can’t see it I need to change it there we go that’ll do I got say though

This actually looks pretty nice kind of happy with that that I might do a little bit more work out here knock out some of this Moss that’s in the way this is probably going need to be Stone as well isn’t it guess we’ll make it Mossy I

Think we’re going to get the start of the path marked here I think I’ll fully connect it up between episodes just like I did last time just cuz I think it’s nice to show a little bit of a progress update between episodes cuz I having fun
