will go in the spot I want it to be thank you um so I so as you can see by the rails I finished the curing of all the villagers and I also name tagged all of them based on their enchantments uh I know there signs but I’m going to you’ll see why it’s cuz I I’m going to do a lot of Library renovation so as you can see feather falling is an emerald Fortune rip sorry rip Riptide is an emerald I don’t weird kind of building I have on the base for a while now it’s just kind of sitting here being useless or well not useless it’s actually very useful but it’s been sitting here being ugly and I don’t I idea if the library drop it in chat so I can read it I was thinking of having different floors dedicated to uh every type of villager enchantment but I still I’m not sure everyone does old ma Majestic buildings yeah I don’t I don’t really want to do something like that but my vision is what’s your vision I kind of want to make it look like a modern public library because those always have pretty fun architecture in my opinion you know the whole trend of modern house with the thumbnail of white concrete and white glass make it modern and Sleek yeah bro we’re on the same wavelength right now that’s exactly what I was thinking I I I I might I kind of want to go for something modern but I don’t know how I would do that like hm like how do I make this look like it belongs sorry ween but you’re not good enough to build a Mountain Library I’m sure I could do it but the question is do I want to I don’t know if I want to I’m not sure lots of quartz oh I don’t have a lot of quartz that’s for sure I do want to use more Quartz in my builds we should probably expand the stone mation home cuz I really don’t have a lot of villagers in here I can only get like 12 quartz per villager or well 24 quarts for villager and um there’s only nine villagers in here so maybe we should expand we should probably expand this building first before we touch the library CU once but I I don’t I don’t really want the building to be made out of that much Stone cuz you know if you look around uh if I fly on the iron conglomerate that’s a good vantage point you know there’s a lot of stone buildings like the only like mostly wooden buildings I can see like see from up here I guess it is kind of diverse now like now that I think about it but there’s two wood over there wood there wood there although I don’t know if I really count I thought it was on fire for a sec because of these torches but it’s okay I thought the library was on fire um that’s wood and you know the library is a giant cube of wood and the bridges wood too I want I might do another wood type of deal okay wait you hear me on underwater Observatory Library uh maybe well actually no not maybe cuz I I I want to you I want this EXA like I I want the library to be in this plot I really I like the location a lot although I I’m I want to expand it but I’m worried if I do it’ll you it’ll cover up the Super Meat Boy and you won’t be able to see uh the Super Meat Boy as well but it is kind of tucked away so it’s kind of hard to see in the first place but I I don’t want to cover up more but I could always move the meat boy but I kind of like where it is you know this would be unrealistic a big Seaside gazebo type of thing with bars like those bars on the beach white pillars and no roof and lots of sand on a on the river um I don’t know I think that’s straying for I I think you kind of lost the plot that’s kind of steering away from a library if I’m being honest and do an underground one probably not cuz I I like I explained earlier I I want to I like the location I want to use the same location and I kind of want it to stay true to the original library but not a lot because the original library is just a wooden Cube here I’ll sleep on it and and we can te we can test ideas uh when we go to bed all right now I mean I guess we’re going to need a lot of bookshelves for the construction so while we think about it we can still be productive and buy tons of books so how many emeralds do I have surely a lot also what do you guys think of the snazzy armor I’m pretty sure most of you guys were here for it but pretty awesome new armor without F ons all right we we’ll just take all these emeralds cuz bookshelves are cheap now so I can buy tons or actually I want I want to know how many do I have already turtle breeding I haven’t Turtle bread in here for at least like a thousand days but I had them here at one I used it at one point I don’t even remember why I have this but I built it like a while ago and still here um the battery is very strange when I tell people I built a giant battery they’re like why would you ever do that and I’m like well I wanted a cool put place to put my lightning rods but it’s so far away from everything these these lightning rods don’t work that often like like honestly the lightning rod I just stuck on the ground over here is more useful if I’m being honest unfortunately like this one gets way more use and um the big uh I don’t know is the big melon weird I I I think it’s interesting rather than weird it was definitely weird back when there was nothing in here but now that it’s actually useful it actually makes sense to be here now that it’s functional okay I kind of want to go for a lighter tone um I saw scabs I saw one of the images you sent in the Discord of how you wanted uh or like how you suggested the library to look and I do like the like the green floor so I think we’ll do green floor and I want some quartz maybe for the facade there never was that was I I put it like I had space for an extra cubicle so I just uh put soul I just wrote Swift sneak and uh swifted on there you know just in case uh will not well just just to acknowledge those enchantments I guess I don’t really know why I did that but I did okay how many blocks can we get rid of without the villagers escaping this is very dangerous for them I just realized but not a lot of mobs spawn on the base often so I’m not too worried all right we don’t need anything except the block above their heads I believe so a lot of this is unnecessary wood put there just to fortify them in their prisons and these Corners aren’t needed there we go and here let’s get rid of the roof while we’re at it looking [Music] good and another uh question I have is how is like what am I going to do for the roof like the because I don’t want it to be a box roof I want to put like an actual roof I don’t know how I’ll do that I don’t know how I’m going to make it look good at all but I’ll try but oh Oh I thought you you won’t Escape though these lanterns aren’t necessary the efficiency villager is still defying me let’s get rid of the rest of this I’m so glad I have haste and efficiency it makes mining all this wood quite fast and painless very simple all yeah if anyone has suggestions what to do with the uh roof drop uh drop them in chat because I don’t way um if a villager escapes it’s whatever we can get him back in I can do that but I just really have to be careful so here how many fences do I have in my storage ouch I just broke a bone why do have nether brick fences why I have so many of them strange Oak fences oh crap I keep wasting Rockets no no no no here we we’ll use walls we’ll use walls I have tons of polished deep slate walls cuz back when I was just starting out in this world uh I don’t even know how many screenshots exist of it but there used to be deep slate walls around my tiny base cuz I had a lot of deep Slate from strip mining now here let me put walls around it so if a villager escapes you know we can get it back in easily here I’ll like seg I’ll like segregate most of the area dedicated to the library and also this helps with planning out how big I want it to be like I don’t want it to be bigger than the wall or like I don’t want it to leave the wall basically I don’t know if I explain that correctly so many ladders in the way of this wall and I don’t want it any I don’t want it to be that close to the zoo because I need honestly I need to put a wall around the zoo cuz it’s just kind of out and about I don’t know I feel how I feel about that and I don’t know if I want to do anything that I I don’t know if I want to touch this back portion a lot like I want the library to be in a similar size that it is in now cuz it’s it’s a pretty good size for what it is but I might extend it this way so I’ll PL a L and I’m trying to think of ways the villagers could die if I just let them roam around I guess drowns are maybe the biggest concern but I’m not too worried about that can they oh they can get over that here we’ll break this can oh they can still you know what this bottom portion is too much liability it makes it look better but it’s just going to have to go for now now how now I think I’m free to uh experiment with how I would like to do the thing I want to do so H maybe like and it goes like that and then when you walk in if I if I bust out this wall real quick I bust out this wall break this fence here here this whole this whole wall can piss off now kind of like how in the bamboo know are there more doors or wheels in the world you know I’ve heard this debate a lot and it sounds obvious like obviously doors you know there’s a lot there’s like like like you like out like out like doors but like there’s cabinet doors normal doors and then um but for Wheels there’s like car wheels stroller wheels um every bearing one could argue every like ball bearing might be a wheel or well it’s kind of a stretch but like or like every jar like you open the lid I mean is that a door what what concept like then you have to ask yourself what’s the definition of a door and what’s the definition of a wheel like is every single rolling circular disc like object a wheel like if I if I grab like a a plate and I roll it across the uh a countertop is that now a wheel like does that Mountain bases are the best I totally agree like when like whenever I’m on uh like I always build Mountain bases all the time like this world is honestly a pretty big exception I don’t have a Mountain Base in this one yet yet I’ve been planning on it for a while but I haven’t done it yet cuz I’ve been focusing other things but yeah Mountain bases are underrated as hell and I build them all the time
