Sekai – Minecraft: How to build a Viking Long House [ Tutorial ]

Foreign Hello guys how’s everybody doing i hope you all doing great you’re watching minecraft sikai and welcome back to another tutorial where i’m going to be showing you how to build this viking longhouse and these are all the materials that you’re going to be needing to build it

Now if you’re building this in survival you’re going to need to do a lot of grinding because this is a large belt but uh yeah just pause the video go ahead and collect your materials and come back let’s do this all right so these are the dimensions of

This build and we’re gonna start by grabbing some stripped spruce logs i’m gonna get over here and i’m gonna raise a log right on this corner by two so we’ve got one two like that then i’m gonna skip one block place another two and then i’m gonna skip one

Two three blocks right here and then place another two logs like that then i’m gonna skip one block and place two locks just like that i’m gonna twist over here and skip one two blocks and then place one two locks like that same thing again one two and then two logs again

And there we go same thing on this side so skip two blocks and place a log raised by two same thing again and again there we go now i’m gonna place one two logs right here right next to this log here raise the log by two there we go then i’m gonna skip

Two blocks from here and place another log here raised by two let’s do it again on the other side so skip two blocks and raise the log by two now i’m gonna skip one twist over here and skip one two three blocks and then raise another log here by two

One two just like that skip another three blocks and then raise the log by two again and again so we’ve got one two three four gaps here and one two three four five logs raised by two now let’s do the same thing over on this side

So one two three raise a log one two three raise a log and then one two three a log and one last time just like that so one two three four gaps and one two three four five logs raised by two all right now let’s um let’s skip one

Two blocks from this log and then raise a log by two same thing on this side skip two blocks and raise the log by two there we go then we’re gonna raise another log here next to this one by two same thing on this side

And there we go all right now let’s skip one two blocks here and raise the log by two skip one two three this time and then raise the log by two again now let’s skip another two blocks and raise the log by two there we go let’s

Do the same thing on this side so one two a log raised by two and then one two three a log and then one two then a log there we go all right now let’s skip one block from here and then raise the log by two skip three blocks and then raise another

Log by two there we go all right now um we’re gonna connect everything here with crossbeams starting from here so we’ve got crossbeam here another being connecting these two all around now if you get to this gap here just leave it as it is don’t add a crossbeam here just don’t add it

And skip to the other gap now we’ve reached another gap that we’re going to skip and not put a cross beam there and there we go all right now let’s get some cobblestone and we’re gonna uh place them in these gaps here underneath these cross beams all around so

Whenever you see a crossbeam here just place cobblestone underneath it there we go now let’s place one two three here in this gap and then one two three in this gap as well then we’re gonna grab our cobblestone again and we’re gonna place them inside what we have here inside the building

Just place cobblestone as a flooring all right now that we’re done with this we’re gonna grab our stripped spruce logs again and we’re gonna start right over here by raising a log on top of this one by three so we’ve got one two three like that another one here

One two three here as well one two three and one two and three all right now i’m gonna make a crossbeam here another crossbeam here and another one right here there we go then i’m gonna raise another cross another log on top of this one by two another one on

This side just like that and i’m going to raise another log right in the middle here by three one two three there we go now let’s get over to the other side right here and i’m going to raise the log here by one two three one two three here one two three

And one two and three let’s make cross beams again just like we did on we did on the other side like that and then i’m gonna um raise the log here by one and two another one here by one and two and then i’m gonna place a log right in the middle

And then make a cross beam right here there we go and place one log on top just like that all right let’s get back over here and i’m gonna raise a lot here by two one two i mean three actually so three like that skip two blocks and then one two three

And another three over here one two and three let’s do the same thing on this side one two three one two three and one two and three there we go let’s make cross beams here in between there we go and let’s do the same thing on this side so one two three

Three here and here cross beams actually don’t put a cross beam here this is going to be a doorway so don’t put any cross beams there and a cross beam right there okay now let’s raise the log here by three one two three and one two three and another one

Right here cross beams in between and there we go all right now let’s get over here and i’m gonna raise a log by four this time so one two three four just like that same thing on this side one two three four then i’m gonna raise the log here

By seven so one two three four five six and seven same thing here one two three four five six seven and i’m gonna get over here skip one block from this log and then and then i’m gonna raise another log from here by seven so we’ve got one

Two three four five six and seven like that then i’m going to skip three blocks from this log one two three and then raise a log by seven again so one two three four five six and seven there we go i’m gonna make cross beam here just like that cross beam here

And another one right there and same thing on this side one two one just like that now i’m gonna raise a log here by four i suppose so we’ve got one two three actually by three not four just three so you’ve got one two three right there and then

One two and three right there as well then in the middle here i’m going to raise a log by four so i’ve got one two three and four there we go now let’s do the same thing on this side so one two three four here same thing on this side so

One two three four seven here so i’ve got one two three four five six seven another uh log raised by seven here one two three four five six and seven there we go let’s skip another block from here and raise the log by seven again one two three four five six seven

Skip three blocks and there is another log here by seven one two three four five six and seven cross beam here and here same thing again on this side there we go now let’s raise the log here by three one two and three one two and three

And then a log raised by four in the middle one two three four there we go all right now we’re gonna get over here actually let’s finish this first so um i’m gonna raise the log here by four one two three four four here and here and then connect them with cross beams

There we go let’s do it again on this side one two three four four and four and then a cross beam here connecting everything together just like that all right now we’re gonna get over here i’m gonna skip from this log four blocks so i’ve got one

Two three and four on the fifth block i’m gonna raise the log here by seven so one two three four five six and seven there we go then i’m gonna skip five blocks here one two three four five on the sixth block i’m gonna raise another log by seven one two three

Four five six and seven there we go same thing on this side so four there’s a lot by seven and same thing here skip four blocks and raise the log by seven all right now let’s make cross beams connecting everything together again so a cross beam here

Another one in the middle cross beam again so yeah just connect everything with crossbeams and don’t forget don’t forget these ones there we go now i’m gonna get some spruce trap doors and i’m gonna wrap trap doors around the ends of this crossbeam so i’ve got a wrap around here

And another one here let’s do the same thing for this cross beam there we go and same thing on this side now let’s wrap trap doors around this metal block here and this one as well and then i’m going to wrap trap doors around these blocks so this one

This one and this one these two there we go all right next i’m gonna get some cobblestone i’m gonna get over here place one two three like that and then i’m gonna get some stripped spruce logs place one lock sideways right here and another one right there then i’m gonna place a log

Raised by two over here one two and another one on this side one and two i’m gonna get some dark oak fences i’m gonna place a fence right here and another one on this side there we go now let’s get a slab a spruce slab and i’m going to cover

This exposed log and this one as well then i’m going to get some cobblestone stairs in place three here one two and three there we go now i’m gonna get some spruce stairs i’m gonna place an upside down here and an upside down stair here as well then i’m gonna get some

Spruce trap doors place the trap door on top and two on the sides then i’m gonna i’m gonna place trapdoors right here one two three one two three and three here there we go and then break these two in the middle and replace them with a spruce door from the outside

Like that there we go that’s our doorway now let’s make the other one on this side so we’re going to start by grabbing some cobblestone and we’ll place two cobblestones right here all the way until here there we go and then i’m gonna place cobblestone again all the way until here

There we go now we can get some stripped spruce logs um i’m gonna make a cross beam here or just place logs sideways like that by what so we’ve got one two three and then a log raised by two here like that skip three blocks and then place

Two logs again like that and then one two three four five logs sideways and then a log raised by two right there same thing here one two three four five actually just four and then raise a lot by two skip one two three and raise the log by two skip a block here

And raise another log by two like that and then log sideways here and two right here there we go now let’s get some spruce slabs and cover these exposed logs and i’m going to get some dark oak fences and place them right here there we go now let’s get some cobblestone stairs

Place three right there and three here now i’m gonna get some spruce stairs i’m gonna place a stair upside down here another one here and then some spruce trap doors spruce trap door on top and one two three on this side and three on this side then i’m going to

Place strap doors again like this one two three four four and four i’m gonna close them and break these two in the middle and place a spruce trap door i mean a split spruce door from the outside just like that there we go now let’s get some dark oak i mean some

Oak planks um we’re going to start right over here again i’m going to cover this gap with oak like that or planks this one as well then i’m going to place i’m going to place a plank right here up top one two three here one two three and another one right there

All right now we’re gonna get to the other side and we’re gonna cover this up just fill in these gaps here just like that and then i’m gonna place an oak uh plank right there one here one here and another one right there there we go all right now

We’re gonna get over here i’m gonna place one two like that and another one on top just like that same thing on this side one two and a plank on top now let’s place one two three four planks stacked like that same thing on this side one two three four

And one two three four here as well and another four here one two three and four there we go let’s do the same thing for this side there we go now let’s go ahead and fill in these gaps here all of these gaps are going to be filled in with oak blanks

All right now that we’ve filled in everything with oak planks i’m gonna go ahead and get some um what is it called stripped oak wood and i’m gonna texture these planks just like this randomly replace some planks with the oak wood stripped oak wood and i’m going to go ahead and texture

These this floor here this cobblestone with regular stone and andesite and some stone bricks as well so you absolutely don’t have to do it you could just leave it as it is and it would still look good but i prefer to texture everything so yeah i’m gonna do that and come back to

You in a second all right now that we’re done with the texturing i’m gonna get some spruce stairs and then i’m gonna get over here place a stair like that and another one right here then on upside down right there same thing here against this log so a stair

Stair and then an upside down let’s do it again and again all right so we’re going to repeat this on the other side so one two one two two here as well and two right there then upside down stairs all right now let’s do the same thing wherever you see a log

Here so we’ve got logs right here and these logs as well and the ones on the other side so do the same thing as we did over here all right now that we’re done with this um we’ll work or we’re going to start working on the roofs so i’m gonna

Get some dark oak stairs and then i’m gonna start right here place a stair like that and another one next to it break this one because it’s just a placeholder and then i’m gonna place an upside down here and then a stair just like that then i’m going to place a trapdoor underneath

Now let’s take these tears all the way up until we get to the middle right here there we go let’s do the same thing on this side to create an a shaped roof design so place a placeholder right here and then a stair next to it upside down stair underneath it then

Another stair like that then a trapdoor underneath and then continue this all the way until here there we go now we’re gonna get some logs stripped spruce logs and then we’re gonna bring a log from here all the way until we get it through this just like that

Then i’m gonna get some dark oak slabs place one i mean actually sorry not the dark oak slabs i’m gonna get the dark oak stairs i’m gonna place a stair like that and then a stair upside down stair on this side another one on this side

And a stair on top and another one on top right here then stay on upside down stair against this one and another one on this side there we go now we have this vikingish flare to this roof then i’m going to get some dark oak trap doors place the trapdoor here

And another one right there all right next i’m going to get some spruce stairs and then i’m going to place a row right here of spruce stairs just like that then i’m going to get some spruce trap doors close the trap place a trap door underneath this one right where this log is

Another one here here and right there as well then i’m going to get some spruce trap doors place them underneath right here in between these slabs just like that same thing on the other side so a row of stairs like this slabs where these logs are then trap doors in between

There we go now we’re gonna place sorry there we go we’re gonna place uh stairs right here covering this roof just simple filling of the roof there we go now i’m gonna get some dark oak slabs and i’m gonna run a row of slabs all the way to there

There we go then i’m gonna get some dark oak stairs i’m gonna skip one two blocks right here two slabs and then break this one and then place a stair just like that then i’m gonna skip this slab break this one and place another stair like that skip another actually just break this

Block right here and place the stair just like that skip another slab and break the slab and place the stair right there all right now i’m gonna get some dark oak slabs place one two slabs like that and one two like that then i’m gonna break

This stair here and replace it with two slabs or a full block dark oak plank and then place a stair right here like that on top of it and then a trap door here there we go now same thing on this side just break this slab i mean stair

Replace it with two dark oak slabs and then a stair on top dark oak stair and then a trap door here there we go now let’s do the same thing here so two slabs stair and a trapdoor there we go all right now let’s work on the roof this side first so

Let’s do the same thing as we did on the other side there we go now let’s get this sprit stripped spruce log and just get a log all the way from there until it passes through this yeah in between these two stairs there we go now let’s get a dark oak stair again

Place it right there upside down stairs on each side stairs on top of it again and then upside downs against these ones again there we go let’s get some dark oak trapdoors and place them on top let’s place a trapdoor here underneath this log and we forgot to place one underneath this one

There we go all right now back to this side let’s get um spruce stairs some screw stairs and do pretty much the same thing as we did on the other side with a little um difference in the on on this uh on top of this doorway thingy

But yeah we’re going to start right here first and then we’ll we’ll get to that side all right now let’s do this side so i’m going to place one two three like that and then one two three on this side i’m gonna place a dark oak stair here and another one here

Then an upside down like this another another upside down stair like that stair here another one facing this way and i’m gonna get a stripped spruce log run it through here like that and then i’m gonna get a stair dark oak stair place it on top upside down stairs

On the sides and then stairs on top there we go now let’s get some stairs spruce stairs this time and place them like this there we go stairs here again like that twist this these ones and um all right so now let’s continue filling the roof uh normally like this

There we go then i’m gonna get a dark oak slab and place it right here now let’s get some spruce slabs i’m going to place a slab here slab here and then let’s get some dark oak slabs place a slab underneath this stair and another one here

Then i’m gonna get some spruce trap doors and place them in these uh between these slabs there we go now let’s get some dark oak slabs again and run a row of slabs all the way to here there we go now let’s skip two slabs here and then i’m gonna place um

A slab on top two like that and another one here let’s skip two from this side as well so one two and then one one two and one there we go now let’s break this stair and place one two like that same thing here and then stairs on top trap doors

Right here and then let’s repeat the same thing on the other side so one two one two stare here and here and then trapdoors there we go um all right now let’s do the remaining roof over here it’s pretty much the same as the as these ones just a little bigger

So let’s get some dark oak stairs again place a placeholder right there and the stair next to it upside down regular place stair and then a trapdoor take it all the way up until the middle right here there we go same thing on this side there we go all right

Now let’s do the same thing on the other side next i’m gonna get a stripped spruce log and then i’m gonna run it through these stairs all the way to the other side just like that get a dark oak trap door place it underneath right there and another one on this side

Then i’m gonna get some dark oak stairs i’m gonna place a stair here upside down stairs on the sides stairs on top again and then upside down stairs again then trapdoors now let’s do the same pattern again right here there we go let’s get some dark oak slabs

And then i’m gonna make a row all the way to the other side there we go now let’s get some stairs spruce stairs and do the same thing as we did over here so a row of stairs like this all the way to the other side then get some spruce slabs

Place them where these logs are and then trap doors in between now i’m going to do the same thing on the other side and then i’m going to fill in the roof simply just like we did over here all right next we’re going to make an

Opening right here in the middle of this roof which is going to function as some kind of a chimney so we’re gonna start breaking some blocks we’re gonna count one two three four and five like that and then we’re gonna start breaking so we’ve got one so five here and start breaking so

One two three four five six and seven we’ve got seven in the middle and five on the sides five here and there there we go now let’s break this row of stairs and this one as well there we go same thing on the other side now let’s break this log right here

And then we’re gonna get over here get some logs stripped spruce logs i’m gonna raise the log here by three one two three just like that same thing here i log raised by three here as well and here there we go let’s raise another log here and another one right

Here let’s make cross beams connecting everything like this and there we go now i’m going to get some barrels place barrels on top of these exposed logs like this and then on top of these barrels i’m gonna place logs raised by three so i’ve got one two three here three here

And here and same thing on this side there we go now let’s make a cross beam here and another one on this side there we go next let’s get some stairs spruce stairs i’m gonna place um actually wait yeah i’m going to place an upside down stair here against this

Barrel another one here and then a trapdoor just like that and then trapdoors running down like this there we go same thing on this side so upside down against this barrel another one against this one and then a trapdoor on top and trapdoors on the side

There we go now i’m going to extend this log like that and this one as well there we go now let’s get some oak blanks i’m gonna place two planks here and two on this side then i’m gonna fill this in with planks again like this

There we go all right now let’s get some dark oak stairs and we’re going to make a similar roof to what we have here just a little bit smaller so uh placeholder again like that another stair next to it and then upside down here another stair like that

And the trapdoor underneath i’m gonna take this all the way up right to the center and do the same thing on this side there we go now let’s do the same thing on the other side here all right now let’s get some stripped spruce logs and we’re gonna make a log running

Through the stairs again just like that then i’m gonna get a stair again dark oak stair place a stair right there upside downs on each side stairs on top and then upside downs again trap doors on top and there we go let’s do the same thing again on this side

Okay next let’s get some dark oak slabs i’m gonna place them like this and then i’m gonna place two logs right here two slabs actually in the in the middle and then two on the other side like that place another two on top like this one slab here another one here

And then dark oak stair on top of this la block another one on top of this one and then trapdoors there we go now let’s get some spruce stairs i’m gonna make a row of stairs here slabs where these logs are like that and then trap doors in between

Now we have a little opening for the smoke that’s gonna come through here now i’m gonna place upside down stairs right here another row on on this side and a trapdoor spruce trapdoor i mean dark oak trap door right there and another dark oak trap door right there there we go

Now let’s get outside get some dark oak slabs again and i’m going to place a slab on top right there another one on top of it two on the sides break this stair place two slabs again a stair on top and a trapdoor let’s do it again on this side two slabs

Stare on top and a trapdoor all right now let’s make two more openings on each side of this roof so i’m going to get some dark oak slabs and i’m going to place a slab right here aligned with this log same thing on this side aligned with this log

And then i’m going to get a spruce trap door some spruce trap doors and place them in between these dark oak slabs just like that and then i’m gonna get some dark oak stairs place one two like that and another two on this side then we’re gonna break gonna start breaking some stairs

So we’re gonna break this row here this one as well and this one there we go let’s get some spruce blanks and i’m going to place a blank under this stair another one right here and same thing on this side just like that then i’m gonna get some dark oak slabs again

Place a slab underneath this stair and another one underneath this one there we go let’s get some spruce stairs again and place them connecting these uh dark oak stairs there we go now i’m gonna get some campfires and i’m gonna place them right here i’m gonna get a shovel

And i’m gonna extinguish them just like that get some spruce trap doors place them underneath the campfires and in front of them as well trap door here another one here and then a dark oak uh actually these ones should be dark oak trapdoors sorry just replace those with dark oak and

Let’s get some stripped spruce logs i’m going to break this stair and place a log here another one here and here then i’m going to cover these exposed logs with trapdoors same thing on this side there we go now let’s get some dark oak trapdoors again i’m going to place one here

And another one here now let’s do the exact same thing on this side all right now that we’re done with that let’s uh fix some things inside so i’m gonna get some spruce stairs i’m gonna break first i’m gonna break these placeholders right here and then i’m gonna place

One two three four stairs like that here and stairs here as well just like that another row of stairs here and there we go more stairs on top and let’s do the same thing on the other side again There we go now let’s get over here i’m gonna continue this row of stairs like this and this one on top as well whoops then i’m gonna get some spruce planks and place them here one two three four and five there we go then i’m gonna get some spruce stairs again

Place a stair here stair here another row of stairs right here and then trapdoors just like that then i’m going to get a dark oak trap door place it here and another one on this side and that’s it now let’s do the very same thing on the other side this is a very

Symmetrical build so yeah there’s a lot of repeating patterns all right now that we’re done with that i’m gonna go ahead get some spruce stairs again i’m gonna place an upside down here upside down here trap door on top and then two trap doors on the sides

Then i’m gonna get some trapdoors again spruce trap doors and place them here one two three four just like that same thing on this side and we’re going to do the exact same thing again on the other side All right now let’s get over here get some spruce stairs and we’re going to place upside down stairs underneath these stairs here next i’m going to get some dark oak logs stripped dark oak logs and then i’m gonna get over here skip on the second row from from below we got this row

And the second one i’m gonna skip two stairs from here and break a stair then same thing here skip two and then break another stair just like that and then make cross beam from this side to this one break this stair and place a log same thing here cross beam and then

I’m gonna get some spruce trap doors and place them here just wrap them around this log same thing here there we go now let’s get over to the other side i’m gonna get some stairs and place on upside down stairs underneath the stairs just like we did there there we go

Now let’s get some stripped dark oak logs and i’m gonna skip let’s see one two three locks i guess place a log right there one two three stairs and actually nope sorry we’re going to skip only two i think so one two break this stair and place a lock one two break

This stair and place a lock cross beam like this another cross beam like that and just wrap trap doors around them all right there we go now um let’s make a little cooking area right in the middle here And now last thing that is left to do is to get some torches and some item frames And spruce slabs so we can make a little bit of lighting here so whatever i put out in frames is going to be light some lighting just like that lighting here some on this side then i’m gonna get some torches place them in i mean uh on the these logs like that
