few things I’ve got myself some golden ingots I’ve got some glass Panes because I want to oh and I went to the beneath and got myself some aquamarine because we’re trying to do stuff with this the astral Tomei I think that’s how you say that right now I got sick and tired of looking for books I’ve been running around all over the place Trying to find my books for everything in there in all these different places so I did this now I know it doesn’t look like much right it’s just a notebook bookcase but it’s from biblio craft so I’m going to show you this let’s back up here book bookcase real simple to make Right just some planks and some some half slabs but watch this well the books fit in there which is really awesome so as I use my different books and I’m done with them I’ll put them back right here and we know that mr. mr. smarty pants Right here he’s got all his books next to him so we can learn from him and he can learn from us I don’t think he’ll ever learn from us but whatever so I was looking here in the astral tome and I let’s see attunement I think is Where it was at we’ll zoom in here we were looking at it doing focus starlight and a crystal lens I think it was what it was now I’m clicked on here and it gives you just like this very basic if you want to pause the screen and read That it’s just this very basic introductory idea to what that is but that’s it block of transmutation maybe iron ore is not the only block that reaches reacts to those focused rays of starlight can make more sense to try some other things as well so that’s like A hint telling us we can transmute eight all kinds of blocks let’s see here a linking tool I don’t know what that is yet crystal lens okay here’s what I was looking for I was trying to find something that was not only going to show me a recipe but Kind of give a hint or explain Starla it required not much okay bending starlight simply from a source to a location might not be enough the source might be at an unfitting place or the destination for the starlight is just too far away a brilliant yet seemingly obvious idea Comes to mind redirecting and refocusing starlight via a network of lenses might provide enough reach to direct it wherever needed constantly shifting the light in two different directions over long distances takes its toll the further light travels the weaker will get additionally since the crystal used to construct a lens that is capable Of redirecting this volatile light makes up most of the lens the properties it had will affect the transmission rate significantly the crystal used to construct okay so I guess what it’s saying is the better the crystal I use the better this thing will direct light oh hello Peggy just keep reading right a Very imperial the most likely blocked starlight passing through my inclusion of dust and other materials it has also the bigger the crystal used to craft the more lenses that can be craft at crafted at once okay bound by its physicality a lens might accept starlight from multiple directions however it’s only able to Direct the light into one direction so wherever the outgoing starlight is bent towards the lens will rotate to direct it there to make the starlight pass through without a problem the lens has to have has to have a clear line of sight to its destination I don’t know if A would need to be there because has to have clear line-of-sight I guess that could work I bet that’s debatable I bet those out here out there who know about words and stuff are gonna be debating that one but here’s the thing here’s what I don’t quite understand so when I Look up no star metal ingots the or star metal or Starlite transmutation it brings up this a Prizm lens and a lens now I don’t know what the difference between the two is if I click over here it gives me this but this is saying that you can Transmutate but when I read about it it looks like a lens does nothing more than then collect start like if you’ve seen an earlier episode you’ll see that I used a a tool I can’t remember what it was cause a CREZ inator that’s what it Was called and when you hold it at night you’ll see like this blue dust stuff appear on the ground that tells you that’s an area that’s got strong starlight and what it looks like this this device does is it’s going to gather that starlight and then you can direct It towards a table an increase starlight on that table to do things but for some reason right here it’s telling me I can use transmutation to transmute stuff so I’m not a it’s like I feel like I’m missing something in this but I don’t know what I’m missing star metal a Celestial gateway see that’s what we’re trying to get to so we going back and forth over turn nether portal super super easy an alignment charge a linking tool recalling the slightly pulling effects aquamarines have on liquid starlight having multiple of these condensed into one crystal might provide Enough to direct and focus the raw rays of starlight in a more organized manner fusing them together with a rock crystal might provide might prove a bit tedious without sufficient starlight luckily the new upgraded altar might help a bit on the end doesn’t tell me anything however holding the created crystal with Bare hands may risk clouding the crystal and therefore diminish the ability to manipulate starlight as such the most practical form of a linking tool takes the shape of a wand a linking tool wait a minute let’s back up okay so what I think this is when we build these things we have to Link them with a tool now let me let me click on this okay so that actually plays into a viewer comment so that’s making a whole lot more sense now so SWE goldminer says you don’t need the lens just one of the collector crystals and a tuned crystal then link it with an Astral sorcery linking tool so an an attuned crystal now here’s the only thing here’s what I’m a little bit concerned about in this modpack we are using mods like astral sorcery or immersive engineering stuff like that other things that are their own standalone mod packs tinkers construct etc the problem is That the person who made this mod pack tweaked the other mod packs so that they don’t function like they normally would like normally if you can find the materials you can just go with it you can build it you can make it happen but in sceptic ages recipes have been Altered so that you must do one step of something before you can do another which gives it a much more linear feel Lexi you know some of this stuff we couldn’t like I could not build nether brick until I built all of these different components and found stuff it Forces you to work in a step-by-step process whereas normally in just regular monitor minecraft I could go to the nether get some nether brick or nether rack I could throw it in a cooking device and cook it straight into nether brick so they’ve altered that in that Respect so what I’m thinking is that it’s possible trying to do this stuff it’s possible that you might be suggesting how to do something as if I was just playing astral sorcery but I’m not I’m playing SEF attack so I don’t know if that is going to affect how Things work or not so now that I’ve gathered up some of these materials I don’t know if I’m actually doing the right thing not let’s back up one age and see if there’s something we missed in here so I needed to get C lanterns we didn’t do That an extended crafting bait and craft the basic crafting table for more complex recipes and then advanced mapping so these two things that we could do here that we didn’t do now the extended crafting table starts to come into play right here well we can get to Flight and I think the gold ok craft the advanced craft so let’s let’s check this I know we’re kind of rabbit trailing here but we got to do this to kind of eye sometimes we get very focused like I know exactly what we need to do and then Sometimes once we’ve completed a task there’s a few tasks ahead of us and we have to decide with a little research what exactly should we focus on next so see to build this I have to build two of these so to get flight we’re gonna have To make two of those tables to make those we’re gonna have to make these different things basic components a basic catalyst so basic components must be made Stardust must be made or luminescence which is made from Stardust so I think that’s why I keep coming back To star metal ingots have to be created to make Stardust which means we can find an abundance of iron ore blocks in the Twilight forest and we can transmute those so we have to figure out how to do transmutation so I think the best course Of action is we just need to make a few of these components and see if we can figure out how to make them work that seems like the best way to go so let’s see here let’s click on this transmute so I guess we’ll just make a lens and a Prizm lens and we’ll see maybe when we put this down there’ll be some kind of an interface we can interact with we could place items in here like maybe this lens maybe the prism well I hang on you know what let’s let’s just check is there anything here about see I Don’t see anything about a prism that’s the problem so attunement and see the other thing is I don’t quite understand what the the different categories really mean let’s see so in exploration I don’t see a prism if I’m not mistaken the way this book works is you have to do like I had To build you know let’s say natl celestial altar look let’s kind of back up because these are all connected so like maybe I had to accomplish this to make these unlock or something like that implode in impulsion okay active channeling attunement yeah I don’t know focus starlight and a crystal lens are These two different things yeah see this is a very basic so I’m wondering if we build a lens if maybe it’ll give us access to understanding what a prism is that might be it so let’s see here let’s just go ahead we’re gonna go for broke star metal ingot it Gets transmuted for making on a starlight crafting altar which is gonna be way up in the sky so let’s make sure that we’ve got everything we need so we can go up there so know I’ve got gold ingot so I’ve got aquamarine I’ve got glass panes that we need to turn into Glass lenses for panes and an aquamarine is gonna make a lens okay for panes and an aquamarine for one lens and yikes so we need three aquamarine and twelve glass panes so we’re half we’re halfway there for all you Bon Jovi fans out there you are now singing the other part Of that song you know what you’re living on that’s right so we’re gonna and this is kind of a slow going process right here so while that’s going on let’s see what are we gonna need the luminous crafting table which is right over there come on you it’d be Cool if there was like a way to put a fan or maybe some kind of a tank of water that was cooling and it helped this stuff cool off quicker now no in real life you have like say we were actually casting metal and I think Magpie tier works with us so he could probably give a little bit more clarity like I’ve never actually done forging of things I have worked in a machine shop cutting metals and I know temperature can drastically affect the way you’re cutting metal but when you’re forging stuff when you’re casting stuff into Shapes molten material and you’re casting it you have to let it cool at a very specific rate if you speed it up or slow down the process I think that’s called tempering although I’m not quite sure and so like like let’s say you have molten metal if you poured freezing cold Water on multi metal it would very rapidly cool off and if I’m not mistaken it would become brittle or it would become more brittle than if you let it cool off at a slower rate letting it cool off at a slower rate I think the way it works is it allows molecules to Arrange themselves properly and so they become there’s a tighter bond and so it becomes a stronger material look at me getting all scientific but I mean after all we were messing with scientific stuff here right so let’s see here we’re going to cut these two three I think That’s right and I don’t have it with me stinky stinker ish this is the problem always run into is not having these stupid tools around when I need them they’re not stupid they’re I know Wearing at the wood do I have my chisel with me I don’t see it darn and I can’t remember is chisel something we could just quickly and easily make or do I have to I can’t even remember how we built it I know normally in a regular Mod pack there’s some marble in a regular mod pack the way you would make a chisel is it would just be like two sticks and a piece of iron but in this modpack it might be a little bit different let’s just kind of sort through here for a second see if we can Figure out where the chisel chisel who’s got the chisel mmm let’s do this crafting no chisel yes and we’ll filter for it and you know what I’m running around with a stinking backpack on my back I wonder if this I think this is the food backpack yep okay so it’s okay To wear that so we’re in the world right there it’s the last place we looked so I’ve got a chisel I’ve got some marble we need to go grab some logs and while it’s still night we need to run up there and see if we can get this thing built And figure out what’s going on now the other part the prism that’s gonna take a bit more materials to make so this this might work out I think that’s good you stay over there mr. zombie and we don’t really have a safe way to get to to get to that so hopefully There’s no mobs wandering around over here I know there been a couple of times where I’ve run over here and their skeleton so you can see where creepers have attacked poor ole piggy what did he do to deserve that nothing I tell you okay we’re safe up here if we fall off We’re not but let’s just make it a goal not to fall off shall we all right cool so we’ve got all this stuff set up that is ready to go so what we need to do is go back to storm metal ingot because I cannot for the life of Me remember what this transmuting thing a 294 a 266 and 284 so purity is 43 37 and 12 yikes so 43% pure and a fairly decent Size so what do we got for purity here 5870 to see what I don’t know is the ratio of purity to size like where does it start to get to a point Oh 54% 43% so see that’s smaller but a higher purity hmm let’s go with that That seems to be a better average so maybe that will that will work out to our advantage throw have to do that like we have to have all these different structures going on I thought it was Tiered whereas you went up in tears the stuff you have built and lower tiers would let you let you cry tears that’s all is is gonna go alright let’s see here how do you make a star like crafting alder hikes with more star dust how in the world did we do this beforehand See it’s shown us there’s only two ways to make this prism wins on a celestial altar is this a celestial altar yes it is all right well let’s try to make a Prizm lens then you got to be kidding me okay there hmm hinder dust lapis rock crystal black iron ingot on a Hellfire Forge are you telling me we have to make a Hellfire Forge to do this see this lets you take crushed quartz and infuse it and make it starlight dust so how do we make one of these okay that’s frustrating I hate it when you run into these things where it seems Like a closed loop and you have to keep researching until you can figure out where’s that one little opening in the loop so where did we see it what was it we saw before let’s um it was a dust see this is the only thing that’s letting us Make star dust without star dust and I’ve got rock crystals I’ve got lapis I’ve got two pieces I entered us so is this what we have – oh that’s not really that difficult to make ten bronze Oh a block of copper and four stone stage one Did we just not ever build one of these and here’s the other thing as you as you progress in this game recipes that worked in one age get changed and don’t work anymore so it’s quite possible that we were able to make that before but it Was more expensive and now it’s not so it looks like the only way we’re gonna get this this dust stuff going like once we can get a few items made it looks like like the crushed quartz on that kind of stuff like there’s gonna be different ways to Make this with just simple infusion and then we’ll be able to get as many start and get things going as we need but we have to figure out like I said that closed loop we have to find that one little opening so that we can get into That closed loop so back up the dust a Hellfire Forge that’s what we’re looking for so 210 and one bronze porcelain that won’t work [Laughter] 210 I think we need copper yeah yeah copper you see do we have bronze anywhere molten bronze yes we do we got molten bronze how about you and Was it don’t know about all that show recipes a common Tarte ik a Jim used to contain will like your last will and testament Elemental affinity reagent it’s just kind of scroll through here nope not messing so Let’s see here one two three four so what I think you do is you put the four items you need the gem in the center and that should be your output that’s kind of my assumption of how I think this with the Hellfire Forge that was nestled in my corner of the House pushing aside some of tiberius as least unpleasant experiments and getting some raw materials for my own study one these days I’m gonna make Tiberius his own Forge since I’m tired of trying to get rid of all of the dust that coats my workplace from his arcane experiments Baba was a bunch of mess I don’t need a I don’t need a story um Gold dampening agent glass housing managed to create tartaric Jim this means a gem from the underworld of Tartarus after further tests I found out this Jim would hold up to a will quality of 64 when I presented these findings to somebody about will blog convenient for backpack otherwise a mystery but love Focused right-click 10% of the maximum something would flow another Jim’s I have my person think this is helpful blah blah blah blah blah okay so that doesn’t help at all but I think what we’re gonna have to do is a crystal what I don’t know what that is so we have to Yeah hi I don’t see myself getting another star anytime soon petit tartaric Jim means so see this recipe is not changing neither is this one but this is and I bet this is what you would consider a catalyst you have these materials you catalyze it with This and it turns into that so Gold redstone dust blue dye powder and glass with a demonic will and I’m gonna remember how do we I think we have like a snare right a rudimentary snare throat a monster and then kill them to obtain their demonic will abound acts okay Corrosive destructive vengeful and steadfast okay so four pieces of ten some ash and string will give us four of those the rabbit trail of rabbit trails is what this is oh my gosh and now sometimes what I like to do is go watch other people’s videos after I’ve made Videos just to see did they did they have the same troubles that I did or did they end up doing something completely different like how did other people navigate through this this modpack so it looks like a strip log will give us some ash wait what are you oh who Knows Sakura would look it so either a strip want log or a regular log on the grill is that what that saying so let’s find out we’ll run over here and grab some in redstone dust glass gold let’s see I can remember where in the world we put redstone dust I know we had some oh do you see that uh that in ermine just kind of come flying through well let’s let’s dump some of This junk right here okay so piece of gold oh we got redstone dust right there awesome solid that have been screaming an old piggy yes I should have heard you but I didn’t so molten glass we got enough for one block awesome won’t need that while that’s going let’s see how do We make this blue dye powder there we go we can grindstone a bunch of different blue flowers or was it lapis I think so yes we can grind up some lapis as well okay so that this will be cool we might actually be able to pull this off we if We can do this nope nope nope we’re in the world that I put the lapis at it’s quite possible that we’ve got some sitting over in over in here nope I don’t see any there yes stinking thunderstorm get out of here I know I had some there we go okay I heard that it’s a run over here as good that we managed man that how many did we go through I had what six traps so maybe what it looks like is you have to get one of those creatures almost dead and then hit them with a trap so That you don’t waste it and even then it doesn’t look like every single time you use a trap that you’re gonna possibly get something the quality of 3.77 I don’t know what the highest number is like is the highest number five or ten I don’t know but it looks like we’re gonna Have all the materials to make this tartar sauce Jim and so at least we’ll be able to figure out how does this Forge thing work nope don’t you get hung up on stuff okay so tartar tartar sauce and I don’t know if this is shapeless or We must do it like this so let’s go and just do it like this so redstone gold gold redstone and then it was a glass and blue dye and then that that’s not working that ooh oh maybe that a petty tartar gem okay will quality at zero what Oh look that stayed and it’s got a will quality of 2.77 oh wait a minute do I have to okay so those all say will qualities of zero a gym used to contain a little will quality sixty-four contains raw will that’s the same recipe so why didn’t that work do I do this That doesn’t work but it did extract from here common no vengeful will ok so there’s different kinds of will raw will that’s demonic will corrosive destructive steadfast so where are we getting this will from it almost looks like you have to like we’ve made the gym but now we have to Fill it up somehow I don’t quite get that that doesn’t make sense let’s see here um to tell us anything about will Will Rogers click here different will types corrosive engines raw will is composed of a mixture of all four and perhaps mixed with other azavea undiscovered types not clear whether quartz or we’re starting to run out of minutes in the episode but we might be able to do this if I have all the materials laying Around so let’s go over here I know where there is um lapis we’ve got that check I don’t know if let’s just grab a crystal I don’t know if the quality of the crystals gonna affect this or not crystal lapis indoor dust I got an indoor dust and then the Crushed black quartz or crushed crushed coal crush the black quartz or okay that is a filtering properly so let’s just kind of look through here for a second I thought I had made made some black dye powder I thought we had made some and I Just haven’t even used it like I put it away for safekeeping for for use at a later date they’re not they’re not they’re starting to run out of options here Peggy what are you city marble oh that might have been what we used it all on was that city marble stuff no no That’s thinking stick get out of here you bother me that nope that nope okay so the last place we can look will be right over here we might have to make a run to the beneath real quick just to get ourself stinkin black dye powder okay so let’s see how quickly can we Find some black quartz or and make it back because if we can get that crushed we can at least put this all in that Forge and find out if the the gym has to be empowered or can we do this with just a completely blank gym a blank gym would Be great I mean that is what the recipe is showing so let’s see here where is some do we have any that we can see I see some right there we might be able to climb up to that oh there’s some right there okay so let’s let’s see if we can Get down here and give this guy a good smack or doodle oh you’re gonna be a stinkin stinker because the beneath makes you super strong come on now ain’t
