SevTech: Ages EP8 Starting Abyssalcraft + Blood Magic

Hey guys welcome back, this is chosen architect and as you can see behind us Yeah, we’re gonna get into Abbyssal craft. Hopefully you guys are ready. Alright guys, so I’ve been working on quite a bit off camera

Um and I kind of wanted to go over a few things. I didn’t want to pick that up. Thank you I just want to grab the item there we go Yeah, I’ve been going over quite a few things

I did get this guy moved in here, and I’ll take you guys to look at the farm I did change it I do have some hemp growing cuz I know I’m gonna need that later on also planted some more sugar cane that I have

But one of the big things that I did off camera was I set up a portal And I’ll kind of show you what that is So it was actually in our quest book. It was up here though. I didn’t really see it

It’s called a hunting dimension, and it’s fairly easy to make this portal you make it just like a vanilla Nether portal except for it to activate it you just whack your sword on it You right-click your sword, and you’ll get this portal to pop up

It’s called the hunting dimension. I’ll show you that in a second also makes all kinds of mob noises which might trip you up Sometimes if you you’re not careful But I went ahead and set like a very simple mob grinder farm thing up there, and I’ll show you that real quick

It’s not the best and it’s it’s just using the primitive stuff that we have like punji sticks So I went ahead and made a bunch of punji sticks, and there’s really nothing else I need to do and I set up some totems which is very nice. I’ve been trying to eat man

I am just starving all the time But yeah that’s what I ended up doing a little bit off-camera. It didn’t take very long. I’ll show you the recipes So let’s take a look here punji sticks not punji sticks Hunting hunting dimension, so you’re gonna want to make this hunting frame right here

And to do that it’s just logs and a sword And you’ll you’ll need to do this craft a couple times til you get at least ten of these blocks You can make it just like you know the easy version of the nether portal where it’s missing the sides you can do that

And then you also need to make this stuff, which is just mossy stone, which you’ve got to go get some vines which of course you can easily get And then some saplings so you got to get all that stuff

Or you can use leaves it looks like to make it as well that might be easier for you. If you don’t have saplings You can use leaves So you take the you take this stuff actually I should probably make some because I’m out of it I

Think we can actually get some leaves. It’s no big deal. I’ll hop over here grab some leaves and we’ll set that up actually Lag fest when you start breaking leaves crazy Yeah, we’ll set this up real quick. We’ll make some mossy cobblestone as you see I plate it some moss on the side

So I can harvest it whenever I need it very very nice I Do like that mod that makes it like your tools more efficient when breaking vines and and leaves it stuff like that super nice, okay, so

We have that we need one piece of cobblestone. I’ll show you exactly what this thing does because it’s not so straightforward We’ll make our mossy stone surround this and We get four now you’re gonna need these because this works on a chunk by chunk basis

And so what I did was I went over here in the Darklands And I shift-click it – shift clicked while I was in the dark lands And you see the bind with the Moss has been set to Abyssal craft. Yes, that’s right this allows you to change the biome of

The hunting dimension so that way you can get specific mobs to spawn there which is awesome so to get this portal going you shift-click You just shift squat. Whatever you want to call it and It’ll take you there So you’re gonna have mob spawn immediately once you get here

I just set up a few torches, so I wouldn’t have to worry about it But this is the design I went with the mob killer And yeah, I just walk up here And I let it do its a job and this is for spiders up here and it’ll kill them

They’ll kill them pretty easy And we also get we do get Abyssal stuff to spawn what I recommend is Pop- probably just completely removing all of the torches, so you don’t have to worry about that and yeah you can just jump up here and

There she as you see there’s some abyssal mob spawning And this is sort of like a little mop grinder for you How cool is that I mean and they will spawn they will find you like if you come down here.

If you walk around too – if that’s something that you want to do you can walk around like this guy if I want him I’ll just let him see me You know don’t let him hit you

Just let him see you yeah, I have spider on here night vision that doesn’t work for some reason um with the shader anyways and Ocelots so that way creepers don’t spawn our creepers. Don’t blow up. Yeah, look it does a pretty good job

Don’t forget though in this dimension mobs do have a lot more health? Then you just come down here and pick up their drops pretty nice Highly recommend this ah I almost forgot to mention?

With the with the moss if you want to set the biome like I said earlier you shift right-click to set the biome but in this dimension if you want to change the actual chunk biome you have to right-click the ground after you’ve set it and That will basically

Give you a new one that will be the biome of the previous chunk before you changed it And it will change the chunk to whatever you set it to so just just keep that in mind that that will happen And it’s pretty cool. Um that’s a really cool mod

I really like it alright guys, so there was an update to this guide And I didn’t notice that colors got changed so these colors were added I don’t remember that being that way so that must be a new thing and it kind of shows you the path of per

I guess which I mean it did show you before, but I guess now it’s emphasized so you see the round ones those are the the progression that unlocks more things and Whenever you unlock like this one back here one of these it unlocks a new

Section or like you’re kind of getting into a new age I think yeah, it’s a new age because this was before Age zero so this was ageless I guess this was age zero and Then right here. We are in age one, so yeah these like square things custom square things

They unlock your ages and stuff like that so Follow the round progression if you want to just kind of skip some of the other things which I mean you’re gonna need some of the other things but

Some of these are just quality of life like aqueducts the quality of life. You don’t absolutely have to unlock those to progress But I think today We kind of have Abyssal craft. It wants us to get into and then also Demonic will which I talked about we’re going to get into that today

We’re going to get into both. We’re gonna make this book at least but these totems I kind of want to get into Demonic or I want to get kind of get this started because it’s gonna take a little bit longer for the the altar

So we can get the altar done, and then we can work on getting the Trophies because the trophy takes believe me it is not an easy task Even with flight, it’s an easy task so getting getting this started probably better

But we can go ahead and make the book which will kind of help us I’m also added some of these totems actually replace that pole I thought it would be better just have a totem there and I can actually have some other things like that And then I have ocelots

I’m surrounding the entire base So that way nothing will explode And I gave myself horse horse an Enderman seems like the in Endermen really doesn’t do anything so I might change that It doesn’t do anything for me. I know it doesn’t- it does wonders for non shaders

But if you have shaders for some reason that with this shader, it doesn’t really work that well, so We’re gonna get started with that. Let’s take out and look at the Abyssal Or I guess it’s called something else. It’s not actually called, but I mean it’s at abyssal craft

And we’ll find that the books which is the Necronomicon this guy is pretty easy to make But as you can see it has a charge so we really have nothing we can do with it But it will uncover things like this so we should be able to see these items

Now as of right now We don’t even know the name of them so we need a Necronomicon to get this to work so we need plant cloth Which should be pretty easy to get since we do have all this plant fiber. We just gathered over a period of time you

Just take this BAM kind of love having an actual crafting table now I Still can’t get over there that makes life a lot easier and already in this pack some rotten flesh Okay four of them And Four of these for some reason this scroll is not working properly, I think it’s a bug

We might have to get that fixed there we go And we just got that so we got unlock the abyssal craft Which is good because now we have a book that unlocks a lot of this other stuff so I think

Now take a look at this oh, it’s still unlocked. I think we have to Unlock what these these things mean? But we do that once we get these things started which is pretty cool This is a portal heavy mod guys a lot of portals

So that’s why I built a portal room downstairs actually moved all my farm animals over here so I have all my animals now in a Corral so I can keep an eye on them and Also, it’s really helpful for the chickens

Cuz now I can just walk in here and get feathers, so that’s really nice It is pretty noisy, so I stay away from there. I put it put it away for a reason I don’t remember planting you there by the way Let’s just spread there. It’s kind of weird. Yeah, anyways

Store everything back up I think these actually go here There we go Okay, so now that we have this it’s really just a novelty. We just have to have it for right now We can’t really do anything with it. I think what we need to do now is get into blood magic

Oh, not exclamation point Blood magic we don’t have much to unlock, but we do have the snare as you can see this requires ash Which you actually get from I do believe it’s smelting wood in a normal furnace or using a grill To cook it not your kiln remember that not your kiln

I am gonna do half a stack of that And we’re gonna split that And you have stack actually in the furnace I Know you guys are saying don’t use this it requires fuel. I’ll try to get this done as fast as possible

Unfortunately, I don’t have that much time to record so I mean this is during the holidays So I am try my best to get this stuff out okay, so the ash This is where we start getting in the snare. We are gonna need more than four

I’m sure because we need to get these demonic wills and This is the only way to do that so I’m gonna go ahead and gather these up And then we’re gonna go out hunting so there we go

We’re gonna make this many snares cuz I’m gonna try and get as many demonic wills as I can Yeah, we basically have to go out side I know nobody wants to go outside. I don’t want to go over here because those mobs will kill me for sure

And we’re gonna look for a few different types oh right here perfect So hit him until you see some particle effects like right now wow that was on the first try that never happens And Demonic will it’s literally that easy literally that easy

We need to get our first demonic will I am going to go and see if I can get as many as possible? They are gonna be very useful in this You don’t ha- I mean eventually you can upgrade and get better equipment, and you don’t have to use the snares

Well the snares are very effective and they do work you just I don’t know if I want to go after the creeper It did work One more shot, and I should get a demonic will Look at that. That’s how eas- I got two no I got one. Okay thought

I almost got two for that, but your demonic will does- they do have different ones. This is a 3.77 That’s really good, and it’s a 1.46 I need at least a one so I do have that completed, but I’m gonna go around and farm some more all right

So we should be able to make our blood alter now because it required a demonic will This is how many demonic wills end up getting over the night? it really wasn’t that many, but as you can see I did have a

Sixteen plus what? Four? Something like that. I got really lucky on a lot of them got them right away Which was really nice some of some of the mobs I hit like two or three times But that’s well that’s to be expected with that, so let’s go ahead and make this

Shouldn’t take too much. All right. We’re just missing some stone And we should have a blood altar and you guys are be happy I did get rid of my furnace You guys didn’t want me using it in the first place So I took it away and there we go place that down

So right here we end up getting a book which is kind of cool. I Guess it tells us how to use blood magic That’s awesome because I didn’t have that when I first started learning this mod It was all tutorials

So yeah keep that in mind we need to find something hard to hit this on so you sit there And you whack it against- you use your left click instead of right click

Whack it on a wall any of getting a sharp bone. We’re gonna need that to get a sacrificial dagger, and you need bronze and Yeah that so bronze and that sharpened bone and look at a sacrificial dagger

This is how we’re gonna work our blood altar, okay, so just keep that in mind I Am trying to do my best to get this thing emptied because I need this empty here in a little bit And we’re gonna get started with that so Basically you take this and you

Start hurting yourself near it and yeah, you’re gonna take all kinds of hearts And I highly recommend having your nutrition is at least one of them maxed out so you get more hearts

The more hearts you have the longer you can do this and the more blood you can be build up inside your altar Which is pretty nice. By the way, I hope my video doesn’t get demonetize Because for some reason every time I do a blood magic video

Any type of blood magic video it always gets hit and has to be manually reviewed I don’t understand why but that’s that’s the lovely blood magic stuff and the lovely YouTube Craze as you can see I did get all of these different ones But the one I used for my crafting was actually

0.95 so I couldn’t actually use it for any of the other crafts its the one I had down here and That’s the one it used first Which is nice. I don’t want you in there Can you get out? Although, if you place an item in there open handed get it out

So just remember that so you don’t accidentally place something in there You don’t want in there because if you place something in there that actually consumes blood, and you don’t have enough in there It could kill you so Well actually we won’t kill you it’ll just all the progress will stop. That’s right

So yeah you just have to basically fill yourself up make sure you have like something like a steak dinner or something on you the steak dinner is very nice because it fills up your vegetables and It’ll fill up both of them So you can have both of these two sections maxed out

And then you can use something else later to fill your fruit and grain I’m not sure if there’s something that actually does both of them at the same time Eventually it’ll get into a meal that will probably fill everything up, which would be really nice You’ll have like a fruit smoothie and everything

I don’t know if “Pam’s Harvest” is in here, but this is from “better with mods” kinda interesting Yeah, I’m gonna go ahead get this kind of cleared out, and then we’ll get started with that alright guys

So if you want to remove your step height, which is exactly what a lot of people have been asking. “How do I remove That awful step adjustment thing that lets you walk over blocks like a horse?”

Well, this is the this is the part or you have the option to do that. I don’t think I’m gonna remove it right now But I am going to go ahead and get the item required so to make this you need to use 1500 LP and

Which is life points which is the blood that I was talking about that goes in your altar and you Need to have a tier one and you just place this guy in here, and you just wait. It’s going to consume the amount that is in there It’s gonna consume 1,500

I’m not sure if this thing holds 10,000 by default or 5,000 by default it’s one of those two I do believe That’s in your base LP Network and all you have to do is consume this Apple, and it will go away I don’t want to consume it right now

I don’t think it’s gonna affect my quest if I don’t consume it okay, it doesn’t but this is the path that you will take To get there. I don’t really think there’s much else in blood-magic that we really need

Is there? I don’t think. We can get a weak blood orb that I do know But the weak blood orb would be used to making runes and stuff and making the instant altar

Which we can actually use later on but we don’t have access to courts so we can’t really make the sacrificial dagger We can’t really do that much the only thing we really make is a divination sigil which I’m not worried about making that yet Do we need the hell forge yet?

We could make a petty tartaric gem But we still don’t have any weapons that would help us with the petty tartaric gem, right? Oh, I guess we can make a make that You know what we might need to do that so we can actually get well

It’s an unfamiliar, item. We actually can’t make it yet But we will make this once we get an iron sword Yeah, so there’s really no sense in us going any further is there. I don’t think so But I was taking a look because we were talking about blood and blood magic

And I’m gonna kind of store some of this in a chest and we’re gonna kind of go over over this a little bit so with the Blood because I was trying to figure out if I could you know have some blood around You’re able to make this stuff coagulated blood and

I was looking at the uses for coagulated blood it looks like you can make tinkers construct boots, which is all good and well, but that’s not what I want I want these and

I when I was looking at the recipe they changed the recipe it did require a redstone and no longer requires redstone requires feathers So we could easily make this and we’re going to because that’s going to make our life a lot easier

I am gonna go ahead and cast us out because we can actually with our blood altar We should have enough in here now, and I’m pretty sure this thing is almost completely filled up all the way And we also have resistance now and nourished

So you take a look here we’re getting resistance. I think because this one’s above 80% but we get more effects the more stuff we get So the more our food goes up the better off

We are which is great, and I will take I’ll take any help I can get we are already at 98 on that yeah And we’re getting resistance which is awesome. Yeah, we can take this I don’t- I’m also interested in this

So we can look at what this stuff can be used for on a drying rack we can actually get a health boost So I highly recommend using that I’m actually going to go ahead and get some of that set up right now and

Just kind of see what they actually do because I don’t know how much health it Actually gives you but it does give you a little bit, so let’s go over here and throw it onto our drying racks

Just like that and we’ll come back later hopefully and see what that looks like but for right now I’m mostly interested in those boots because if you guys don’t know what those boots do They give you an incredible speed boost and you’ll you’ll won’t even want your horse

And it also prevents fall damage, which is really nice also need two feathers and some leather Four to be exact, using them to make leather boots this All I got to take this out There we go – down there feathers up here And there we go it’s not crafting

Strange it should the recipe showed it anyways Let’s take a look at the recipe again For some reason recipe is too large for the crafting table. Okay, maybe I crafted it wrong Oh, I need a bundle of feathers. Oh, okay! Bundle of feathers it is we have string laying around here, I think

Yeah, bundle of feathers Not hard at all right? Ooh, think That’s a bundle of feathers, right? This oh we need hemp fibers Oh no! Yeah, we can well we can still get it. We can still get it. We got hemp

Yeah, this was something that I really wanted to make so it is literally worth working to get see all I have to do is keep doing this remember hold your food while you’re doing this and You will always have the saturation in order to

Keep grinding this stuff up look at that. There’s already three. That’s more than enough to complete this So let’s go ahead and do that two of those we’re gonna make a bunch of feathers Two of those and now we can make this guy how cool is that?

Oh, yeah, I’m so happy for this um this only has one armor to begin with look at that Now we should get a running speed look. How fast we can run guys is that not ridiculous That is ridiculous So I think traveling is not going to be as difficult as it was

Because we can now I mean zoom past anything really this is crazy fast alright guys so we are gonna do the unthinkable In that we’re gonna try and get these uh I came from with her called the slob guys Whatever to spawn oh man

This is probably a bad idea. They should be in here Come on guys Come on I want all of you when all of you out all of you out Don’t want to take damage. It’ll actually hurt my boots if I take damage. I’m gonna get them out and what I’m gonna do

Is trying to get them to spread this slime stuff as much as possible And basically just have to go around in circles, and they’re actually faster when they’re on their own slime So I’ll keep that in mind

They will be pretty fast and I got to get this whole area pretty much covered in this stuff because once you get it covered They’ll actually start totems will start spawning on it So keep that in mind totems will start spawning on it

But yeah you do want them to kind of make as much of it as possible In this area and kind of keep it over here Okay, guys, so I just got them to spawn one of the monoliths right there. It just happened You kind of hear like a tinking sound

I gotta get these guys together you need six of them So yeah, it’s kind of weird how they spawn on this stuff, but they do So let’s get them gathered back together As best you can. The more of those monoliths I get the better off, I’m gonna be you know

So even getting this guy over here like I want him, can you follow me? All of you guys oh, they spawn more okay Yeah, I think there’s a bunch of them over there I gotta get my boots oh There’s another one the more of these you get to spawn the better off

We’ll be because we’ll have more in the long run you want them to spawn them? so I’m gonna keep gathering them around so they can spawn as many as possible and

Then we’re gonna have to go after them so my best bet it’ll be to drag these guys as far as way as possible To get them to spawn basically But yeah, I’m gonna wait for some more to these spawn then we’ll go after it. I do have the equipment

It’s in my hotbar believe me. We’re gonna get this to work. Okay guys, so it has been quite a while I have gotten tons of these to spawn because I wanted to get all of them So I had to pretty much lead these guys around for about two in-game days

Yeah, this was not the funnest task in the world I noticed something was weird Like on the sides of the pillars whenever they spawned The Big like this. I don’t know those guys were like stuck to the side, and you can’t actually attack them but if you left the chunk and

Come back. They were actually gone And I’m assuming that that was where the like they were they were spawning because whenever these happen it spawned more of them, so Yeah, that was something kind of crazy

But I ended up getting I think most of them to spawn I think all the trophies are here And we should be able to get them Some will be easier to get than others like

This will be pretty easy to get you just hop on here and take it I’ve already gotten that one on me so yeah, you just have to hop on here and break these guys and You should normally get the actual

Quest done. It’ll be right here. I already grabbed one earlier, so yeah kind of ruin that one But yeah, this right here, we have it now, so We’ve basically got most of this done. This was going to be a big part of today’s episode

I don’t think I’m going to be able to get into the actual Ritual part where we set up all the pillars and stuff they will do that in next episode So keep an eye out for that. I am going to show you though

I ended up bringing two of these so I think this is gonna be easier to do now so if we if we set this here I Can just now carve one spider the other one And now we can have spider all the way up to the top

Pretty nice, and if they’re close enough we could just hop up here and take them So yeah pretty nice look that there we go And I can just hop over here and take this one and do the same So nice, I’m gonna have multiples of these

I don’t think I’m gonna need multiples, but I do have them So I don’t know I’m gonna go around and collect all of them They are all over the place I mean they do span farther than the eye can see It’s pretty crazy how much they actually spawn

Anyways, I’ll see you guys back at the base I was just check-in here to make sure that we had every single one that is listed here And it looks like we do which is awesome because we now which I think actually this one is it this one

One of these yeah, it’s this one this one right here can actually be made if you have trouble Finding any of them you can actually make this statue alone, which it pops up so

If you want to do it the old-fashioned way like I did you can do that, or if you want to just make one You can but I recommend getting as many of these as you can because you’re gonna need every single one of them every

Single one of them does its own different thing and believe me you’re gonna want them all especially getting into Abyssal craft you’re gonna need them all you’re gonna need every single one of them so might as well get them early and Not have to worry about them later But look here

You can actually make this if you want to so if you want to just get started early and don’t worry about this and do this Later once you get a better gear or something like that You can but you’re gonna need to kill some of those

Slogs I think it’s how you pronounce it. Slocks? Slogs? And they’re not easy to kill so just keep that in mind Alright, one last thing before we end today’s episode. You can see we have a bunch of hearts

And that’s because our protein and all that is maxed out now if we max out the other parts will be even better You’ll see the fruit and stuff, but I want to see how many what this actually does So we get a health boost oh

Goodness guys, okay, so they give us two extra hearts or to give us one heart? I think it was one heart. Maybe I don’t know, but we have health boost for a certain period of time so That’s not bad. This is a pretty decent perk I can’t complain looks like we ate two

I thought I had four on me Maybe I didn’t I don’t know but I hope you guys were looking forward to the next episode we will dive deeper into abyssal craft and Yeah, we’ll get all this stuff started We’ll actually get to the beneath

Which is I’m kind of looking forward to and it looks like we’ll end up getting Black Quartz, so yeah Stuff to look forward to I hope you guys are looking forward to that anyways if you guys
