Shape Shift for Power in Minecraft! MOD Spotlight

Surprise what’s going on guys and girls my name is James or thanks see ya and welcome back to another minecraft mod spotlight and today we are going to be taking a look at the fantastic morph mod so yeah just very quickly I was amazed by the reception that we had on my

Previous mod spotlight which was kind of a smaller shorter mod it was actually the shatter month so thank you so much for that a lot of people really enjoyed the shorter style mod one with not as many features so I thought I’d do another one and this is our one of the

Most amazingly cool mods that I’ve ever seen it’s really simple it’s really straightforward but it’s an awful lot of fun see it what is the morph mod gems why won’t you tell us well I shall tell you but I shall demonstrate it as well because what this mod does is

Effectively shape-shift to you into whatever entity you kill and then it kind of saves that entity pattern so you can use it to whenever you like shape-shift yourself into different creatures so it sounds amazing and it kind of is so what you do is when you actually spawn into the world you’ll

Have no kind of morph knowledge as such so what you need to do is you need to hunt yourself down whatever mobs and animals and characters and whatever you like and then you’re in able to kind of morph to those whenever you choose so

The best way to do this is kind of just just or show you so we’re gonna demonstrate here with a few of them to start off with so I’m gonna pick a children pick a villager I already got a villager um which so we’ve got a creeper

We call ourselves a witch got a chicken we’re gonna do we’re gonna do a silverfish and we’re gonna do a what can we do let’s do a slime why not okay so right you kind of walk it around in the woods to do you walk through some tall

Grass a random creeper appeared right so when you see a creeper what you could do is kill it yeah are you watching are you watching right so what happens now is when you kill something it kind of like turns into burn ash and you can kind of see the

Body part to get sucked towards you now what does this mean or basically I’m now a creeper see me creep in Judah Judah I am a creep see what you do is you’ve now taken on the form of a creeper so obviously if you find something else let’s find something

That’s even smaller that’s a hole in the ground are the chicken so we kill this guy now by the sheer power of witchcraft we are now a chicken so what you can actually do is you still can use every single thing that you can normally do

Let’s turn it to day time here happy days and but you’re now taking the form of the last thing that you’ve killed so obviously in terms of a chicken you’re now really small but obviously if you want to get yourself taller you’re gonna kill something like Isles or slime sure

And you kind of get like that really cool sound effect and now I’m a slime a slime so it’s really really awesome and obviously this works with every single mob in the game now I need to double check about the the wither and the Enderdragon so I’m not too sure about

That I’ll check that at the end of the video and but I do know that any sort of normal style mob you can use and you can turn yourself into them now remember I mentioned about sort of remembering what morph patterns you had well basically there’s also another button which is

Kind of like on your keyboard the square type of bracket now if you click that you actually open an interface which shows you all of the various morphs that you’ve acquired so as you can see here you can change back to your default one

Should you wish to all you need to do is just find it and then you will click it with your mouse and then you turn back into yourself so ello and B if we actually go go back into that menu there you can see that you actually acquire

All the different morphs that you have so it’s a really really cool mod and basically you’ve sort of got some slight ability basically for each one so for example with a chicken I do believe that you can actually take any full damage let’s take a look at that as you can

Kind of see like with that with the guy there I house like a little guy and a parachute and the creeper and the slime and the any sort of hostile mob and you get like a little boost there but hang on all right let’s try this oh god no I

Don’t mean to do that all right let me change it to slab mode I change myself it’s chicken bok-bok-bok what’s the button there it is okay so we change stuff into a chicken now if I jump off this one second we driving again oh hang on

Maybe I jumped off too quickly let me try that again right survival mode yeah so there you go as you can see if when you’re a chicken you get that really cool hover ability which enables you to not take any full damage if you jump off something so obviously that’s very very

Cool and a lot of different mobs have different things not all of them are fully integrated at the moment but you know I think that over time when this mod is developed you’ll have some really cool abilities so I would really like to see for example if you’re a witch you’d

Be able to take on some kind of ability from that so you know you’d be able to kind of like morph yourself into something that’s able to throw potions at will that’d be really awesome as killer squid oh yeah big give you big dip yeah yeah

This is this is very cool so as you can see you take on the abilities of every single thing that you kill and then at will you’re able to morph into it so as you can see here the squid has the ability which is a swimming ability

Which is really really awesome so yeah it’s kind of up to you really to go and look around your world and you can swim really fast in water that’s the squids ability very very cool you know you can you can go around the world and you can morph yourself to the different

Characters and then you can use those abilities should you wish to do so for all of these various buffs and it’s very very cool I do like this modern awful lot and you know I think it’s really really fun to kind of like just go around and kill things and then take on

The form of it we’re gonna kill it horse I know this is not cool but for the sake of science yeah we are now hah see look at me horse very very cool so yeah it’s really really awesome so kind of about it oh hang on

Oh look you’ve got a horse ability so this is the ability now with the horse that you don’t actually have to jump to get up blocks or whatever you can just ride up them like a horse so yeah it’s kind of up to you really to jump in here

Grab this mod and then find out what all the abilities are for all the different animals and then you can choose which one you wish to take let’s actually killer shir interest dammit come back no yes I think blaze is one of my favorite words actually that’s very cool I like

That a lot ability is a blaze oh okay so that’s that’s interesting so the blaze is pretty pretty beefed up and what you can see there is that the blaze gives you the ability of flight even in a survival mode which is very cool also it seems that it is invulnerable to fight

And involve water oh god no it it doesn’t like water but I think it’s also an invulnerable to fire as well so you can go through lava if you’re a blaze but be careful if there’s any water because you will probably get killed by that let’s check out we got any more

Here I wonder when Enderman does this let’s have a look did it do where is the and Amanda Harris that’s it’s kill an Enderman got a can’t see you know plan B that yes is a terrible idea Rosanna nice let me turn it into night time I can’t see anything

Spawn there we go die no come back oh come back yes one there we go have we taken on the form of an Enderman it still looks pretty Blasi to me I’m not gonna lie I was not dead yet yes there we go so now we are an Enderman

So that’s really awesome check that out that’s very cool so the ability for the Enderman is it doesn’t like water apparently but you do get that sort of additional and aggressive mob buff so as you can see also you can morph yourself into different characters from this

Particular menu and you can see what you look like so that’s really really cool we can go from a creeper and we can go into a chick in wow oh god what’s happened here oh god I’m zoomed in added fried chicken we can go to squared

Mirror which and and yeah you can have a lot of fun just morphing into different characters taking on their abilities their bonuses their weaknesses that kind of stuff and so yeah really really awesome yeah just let me double check on the the witch not which the wither and

The and dragon and I’ll BRB okay so I did a little bit of killing of the ender dragon they’re just in creative and unfortunately although the actual morph animation does happen you can’t actually take the form of the Enderdragon and I don’t think you can do the weather

Either at this moment but this is still a work-in-progress mode so you never know for the future I really like being the Enderman actually because you’ve got these really really awesome like lines and stuff around but not lines you know the particle effect it’s just one more

Thing I want to check before I finish this mod spotlight and I was kind of wondering just then it’s something I haven’t actually experimented with but for example if you are actually in the form of a mob to other mobs not become hostile towards you is what I want to

Find out now is the answer but I thought it took like no damage then do you see that so I think actually oh I think I know what that means when you’re actually the form of the mob that you are the damage that you take from that particular mob is really really really

Minimal so for example if you are a zombie the damage will take from zombies is really really low if you’re a creeper then the creeper explosions will be really really low that kind of thing so it’s a really great mark where you can take forms of the other mobs in order to
